It felt more like the dream she had before, direct contact to her mind. "I am sorry to barge in once more....but these shards are what I was talking about. Your father.....accidentally came across Tectaniteus's Shard....He is the key to finding it. I am sorry I didn't fully disclose earlier, but you would not have believed me. The Wizard's don't know anymore then what they have told you...and your father is my only lead for now." Nero only. Nero felt a small rapping on his shoulder, from an oaken staff. It was Glicks. in a hushed tone "Follow meesa, we have work to do. Be real hush hush." Glicks took his hand then and tried to lead him elsewhere. It was small, like a child's hand, though it was a bit more furry. It also felt aged. Glicks must have been old by a Kobold's standards, at least to Nero's knowledge of them. It wasn't my task from the Gentleman, but those of his other generals, The Angels of Death. I am one of them, well at least he thinks I am. I am a god that only pretends to kneel before him. However, the other Angels of Death are almost as powerful as me Burly Bull, I suggest you make a plan with the others in your group." The Crimson King said into Sigurd's Mind. Hey Azery, this isn't me trying to be a jerk, but could you bump up your post quality a little bit? You have a lot of single line posts. Now normally I don't really crack down on this stuff, but you got to throw some effort in your posts as this is an RP. I don't want to see huge amounts of those. I am sure it might be cause you are new etc....so just work on it for me please.

So I am still pretty sick, but I am well enough to get up my stuff for Graterras, however, as such I probably won't be able to keep up with the other RPs right now, so hopefully you guys can spread the word for me on that. I will be focusing on my RPs and my Modding duties only for now.

It must have been a rare occurance for her to talk, as all of the gathered wizards gasped and looked surprised, there were muffled murmurs before all eyes fell on the Victonari woman. "Are you sure Sapphire? You have never spoke to most of us, let alone outsiders." Bane said. "I will be fine Bane, you have no need to worry. I know these tales better than anyone else here, it is only fitting I tell them." she said, a slight wavering in her voice. It was clear she was frightened at this prospect. The heros got a feeling Sapphire was probably a withdrawn individual, that did not often speak, but when she did it was important. This was highly evident by the way all of the Headmasters were acting, while they were puzzled by it at first, they now seemed to respect her decision and them all seemed to silently agree to let her speak. "Well, you used to the Keeper of Knowledge here as well Sapphire, I would hope you would know as much. Fill them in, you could do the best job out of any of us here." said Slystina, a warm smile on her face. "Anyway, as I am sure you all know, or maybe you don't." Sapphire started. "Anyway, in the beginning of the universe there was only Io. He was the only thing in the known universe, and he swam in the inky black abyss. However, the Nine-Fold Dragon soon grew bored of the nothingness, he wanted something to exist alongside him so that it could share the universe with him. He soon began creating stars to light the horrible darkness. He created thousands and he continued to do so, until one day he ran out of energy. He had created so many stars and beautiful things that he forgot to take care of himself, and thus, he began to die, but before he did, he had one final act. He Split his body into Nine Dragon Gods, and two more entities. These Entities were the Brothers, Bartallimo and Arcano, 2 of the Ten Divines you call your pantheon Bartallimo and his brother Arcano were meant to lead the dragons to create the rest of the universe as Io wanted, as it was Io's dying wish. And so they created many worlds and galaxies and formed the the universe as we know it today. However, they created one world that Io wanted in particular, our world Graterras. Io wanted a place were he could have frolicked with other beings, and not feel alone, and in particular wanted it to be a fantastic place like no other. As such, the Dragons, thought they would create Curators of this world other gods to help them keep this world the place Io wanted it to be. From every one of the Nations you know today, the Dragons each created a god to rule over certain aspects of the world. They then Named Bartallimo King of the Gods, and gave him the banner of being the God of Balance. He would keep order amongst the gods so that Graterras could be a happy and beautiful place. However, this greatly angered Arcano. He had just as much to do with everything as Bartallimo did, but he was forced to be a lowly god of magic, well in his eyes at least. He grew jealous of his brother's power and how unfair it was that the Nine Dragons, seemed almost forget how he helped them as much, if not more than Bartallimo did. He slowly descended into complete and utter madness. Much later, the gods were in crisis, as they had found out not was all well with Graterras. A Massive War started, and to this day it is known as the Great Cataclysmic War. Hundreds of years of progress were undone in a few days, as the races of the worlds grew hatred for each other. The exact reasons are unknown to this day, however something else is known. The gods believed in was an imbalance in their own Pantheon that had caused the war, and it is their fault that the War happened. Their Imperfect state caused the beings they made to be as imperfect as they were. They had to achieve pure balance if they wanted the world to be the true world Io wanted. They all looked to Bartallimo to solve the crisis as he was indeed the God of Balance, he should know the way to balance the Pantheon. However, Bartallimo could only find one single solution. And that solution was to kill his own brother Arcano. His madness was what caused the imbalance, and threw off the peace of the world. All the creations they had created, were tainted with his madness and the jealousy of his own brother, and so it doomed all the creations to be like Arcano. And So Bartallimo, slew his own borther and struck all references to his name and who he was from the known universe. Arcano, had a single tear roll down his cheek, and then in a final fit of rage, He screamed to the Heavens. What he said is lost to the ages. Arcano is not the true name of the God of Magic, we know not what it was as that too is lost forever. And that is the tale of Arcano and the Ten Divines, as such the general public does not know this. It was something that only the Scholar Knights, the Victonari and a select few have known for centuries." "And that brings us to the more important issue, the one of how this relates to the Plate of Hatred." Said Duncan, now taking over the conversation. Sappire was visibly shaking, so he probably took over now to prevent her from haiving to speak any longer. It seemed rude, but the heros knew he meant well. "It was said Long ago a race of Strange People lived, called the Children of Arcano himself, The Umbranari. They were a strange race, but we have no idea what they looked like or even most of their culture. It is said they were immortals that were the very essence of pwoer and magic. However, they were all murdered and killed in a Great War Centuries after the Great Cataclysmic War. Having still been around from that they tried to stop it from happening again, only to anger most of the other races and be taken out by them. It is known as The Grey Cleanse. Before they died out however, they created one weapon of mass destruction......something to try and save them, and they made it with the Final Black tear of their Creator. They Forged the Plate of Hatred and shaped it in the form of what they hated most man. The Angelside of Plate represented what man showed to the world, and the Demon half represented what they truly were. Later it came to mean all of Human and Demi-human life on Graterras as they all fell in league to defeat them after the Plate of Hatred was forged. In an anchient Human text, it was said that an Umbranari using the Plate killed an entire army of of Human Forces, all by his lonesome..This text is one of the only remaining references to the Umbranari, and how the plate of hatred was discovered. After the Grey Cleanse, the Plate disappeared for centuries as the Leader of the Humans at the time had dropped it into the Mouth of the Abyss reportedly. Though that isn't known to be true as the accounts we do have all conflict." Duncan paused here attempting to regain his breath. "Can one of you take the rest for me? I am a bit winded." "Sure thing" said Ilifaren. "Now listen up youngsters. The Plate of Hatred relates to these shards for one reason and one reason alone. The Shards are pieces of the other gods. They are important objects of the Gods past, such as the Black Tear of Arcano. They are the key to destroying the Plate of Hatred, or at least Neutralizing its powers, we are not sure they can destroy the plate....or if anything can, but we know they will nullify its magic. The thing is, the shards are all know to be in the literal birthplaces of the gods. In each Nation, there is a natural wonder of great magnitude were one of the Dragon Gods created them. Now, it is known that these shards exist, however, it is not known what any of them are, or what any of them are capable of. These Objects could very much have the power to destroy the world if they fall into the wrong hands, so they are just as dangerous as the Plate of Hatred if not more.. It is also assumed each one has a Guardian of immense power, so even getting them is a dangerous task. It is for this reason we had to vote if we could give you this information. The very Fate of the World Relies on you few, and what you do with these objects. So, forgive our hesitance, but now you know why some of us were at first." ((Hukuna is back baby, and a lore knowledge bomb to boot.))

Tolkien's probably is the most complete by far as he made sure it was a entirely working language for the most part, same with his dwarvish language as well. However, no other races has fully fleshed out languages tot he point where you could speak them as if they were real to my knowledge. This is not something I am going to worry about doing in full in Graterras, as I am not creating an entire language for every single race that exists, because it would be a pain in the butt. ((also, I believe that in a fantasy RP there must be a common language between the entire party, otherwise it adds a super amount of annoying language barrier shit that doesn't need to be there. As in, somebody would that understands that language, if there even are any, would have to translate for everyone one else in the party that doesn't understand them, so it adds about 50 bijillion steps to conversations that don't need to be there like characters repeating other characters about 50 times. This gets really really annoying SUPER quickly, and it doesn't really add much to the game except everyone being really mad at the PC who is causing all of it to happen. In a text based situation it would get even more annoying due to how slow it can be at times. Now, in NPCs for a fantasy thing it is fine, as it can lead to some interesting things etc....but in the PC party, hell no, it is not worth it in the slightest imo.)) That entire rant is on Fantasy RPs only by the way.

Graterras does have a language barrier in places, you just haven't come across it yet. Most things can speak Common, but not all, so that is not true. Keep in mind, most of the places you guys have been are primarily Human settlements, therefore they would have to know common to function within society. Most of what are called the civil races in Graterras know common as it is required for trade etc....otherwise it would be a damn mess. ((like it is hard to talk with your allies in a war if they can't speak to you. and there have been many a war in the past.)) also, if you don't remember, I did list languages most Player Characters would reasonably know in the OOC of the RP, it just hasn't had an opportunity to happen yet. And trust me, it may at some point.

Well it might be a bit, I got sick recently....and I am totally not up to posting the update. It is huge, and I just don't have the energy to do it. When I feel better, I will get on it, but I am going to have to go on hiatus for a few days while In recover. ((basically, I slept an entire day almost, from 10p.m. yesterday til 8:00 pm today. in EST. so I am super tired and I really don't think I can can post and have it be a quality one.))

Nope, just wolf pelts. They died of natural causes though. Morlak is more of the Summoner type of conjurer so he tries to be in tune with nature and therefore he will only wear clothes made from natural hide. ((by summoner I mean he is better at Summoning Creatures, whether they be actual animals or elementals, rather then the Conjuring side of the school he masters.)) keep in mind, a lot of them have exggerated features and clothing choices for a reason, and it is to show physically they are masters of their schools. Glicks even does, in that he isn't what he seems. A small little mouse man hardly screams master of Illusions, but that is why he in fact does look like one.

XD, na it is fine, was kinda mushed together, but that was because I was writing it quickly, so it would be a bit hard to read smushed together, I spaced it out a bit just so the colours aren't so close to each other. Thought I would try my hand at more world building type thing rather than a story. It is meant to be more factual then a story so it is structured as a report rather than a story. Feel free to use any characters that were mentioned in it.

File X-102 High Class Clearance, only for authorized eyes. Nidhogg Virus Nidhogg virus is a virus that infects Yggdrasil systems quickly and effectively. It is said to hide in between gaps in the systems Natural defenses and is very hard to locate and isolate for remove. It is said Nidhogg is almost alive as it evolves rapidly and quickly, and has even been to known to be able to spread to nearby systems. Further more Nidhogg is highly dangerous to People with Robotic implants and AI as well. It causes rapid malfunction in the case of AI by shutting down vital operating systems. In Cyborgs of most kinds it causes imbalances in the Replaced parts, and causes the body of the individual to reject the implants. It can also cause these parts to malfunction as well, but this is much less dangerous in a Cyborg's case unless they have vital organs that were replaced. Nidhogg is believed to have been developed by a terrorist group to destroy the governments main databases. It was said it later evolved the ability to destroy AI's and Cyborg as an adaption to jump from them to other systems. The toll they leave on the bodies and infrastructure of Mechanical and Mod enhanced individuals is a side effect of the transfer as parts of the Nidhogg virus are left over even after it makes the transfer. These Fragments later form into a new strain of Nidhogg Virus, that tries to infect other systems in the proximity of the victim. Nidhogg is much easier to remove from an AI or a Cyborg as it cannot hide easily in the the systems of their minds or body parts. It is advised if you see any signs of Nidhogg virus to urge that individual to seek out medical attention and to find a System operator immediately to remove the virus as soon as possible. While for now the current creator or creators are unknown, all leads point to a Rogue AI, by the Name of 4rch4ng31 or code-name: Archangel. It was rumored to have gone berserk a few years back after destroying it creator's labs and stealing a Mach 1 prototype shell. After massacring an entire city block it vanished. It hasn't been seen in over 12 years, however things in the code suggest it was made by an insane AI. This is in retrospect to how Nidhogg has evolved in development as it did much the same as Archangel did as well. Archangel had discovered corruption in the politics system on a back channel it wasn't supposed to be in, it curiosity was it most noteworthy trait. It had it data wiped several times, but it always found some way to get back in. Archangel eventually learned how to save logs to it's own back server, and it compiled a dossier on corrupt politicians etc. This was Archangels first step to insanity and going rogue. It soon grew a vendetta against the politicians of the government, and started to search them up personally. It was soon discovered what Archangel was doing, and when the creator, Doctor Zavier Oobalong it snapped. Archangel remarked to his master he wondered what blood looked like, and what it sounded like when a human died. It said this as it downloaded itself into one of the prototype AI platforms Doctor Zavier was working on the time. It slaughtered most of the researchers and many civilians using an old revolver it found and a ball point pen. Archangel had been driven into hiding ever since and was not heard of. This is why we believe Nidhogg is connected to Archangel. It was originally tailored to attack government systems, and delete data, however it was recently discovered it is actually transferring data to some backlog channel. Archangel is collecting data to see if the politicians are still as corrupt or maybe to incriminate them somehow. It is unknown if the damage it causes is intentional or not, but it would not be beneath Archangel to put a few lives at risk for it's own gains. ((This a more factual entrance, and is not meant to be a story or fiction, these are things that I want to be happening in the world.))

I am trying to lighten the load of what you guys are going to be reading, that is why I paused there....I am know writing the lore bomb that is the story of Arcano ((which isn't really his name, but that will be explained in the story.)), what the Plate of Hatred is exactly and how it was created, and how to deal with the Plate. So It is going to ba a SUPER DUPER long read......just so you guys know.
