  1. Just so you know Jory, Grumman's Kobold is my name for them, that isn't an official thing. I decided to have both types of Kobold, and therefore I needed make them different name-wise so people wouldn't be confused. ((as both were just called Kobolds.)) therefore, I came up with a backstory for them, with Grumman being a well known Kobold hero from long ago. ((not going into it now lol.))
  2. Forest of Nightmares and her father did smile "Oh, hello little Kestrel, I see you have flown home to me." he said, that warm fatherly smile on his face. "Please, sit, you must be tired." he said gesturing to another simple chair that was next to the hearth. A Windswept Field As Sigurd reached the top of the spiral staircase he came to a single flat white room, it had no distinguishing features other than a table and 2 chairs that sat in the middle of it. On the back of 1 chair sat a Snow Owl, one from his homeland of Aurora. It was a strange sight somewhere like here. It stared at him for awhile, and it looked from him to the chair across from itself, as if gesturing Sigurd to sit down. An Old Friend "Of course Akuma, I will carry you there if I have to friend. And you never have lied to me before, why would you start now? I believe you, I hope the elders will too." Thorne said as he helped Akuma to walk, he began to head towards where the Elders of the village resided. Mistless Peaks "On that front you are wrong, Dru'thok, one is not alone when they commune with the Earth, for the Earth listens." the strange Rock Man said. "And there is no need to fear this Gentleman you speak of. Either you defeat him, or you die, that is all there is too it. Being one with the Earth, you should know, it is he who prepares, he who observes and listens, he who does not rush head-forth recklessly, that shall win the day. You seek answers to his power, and you shall have them, but it is not my place to give them to you, the Denizens of Graterras must free themselves from the darkness." at that last line, Shard's voice sounded different, and even deeper than before. And as he spoke again it still seemed that way. "Dru'thok, you, as all others, are children of the Earth, and whether or not you succeed or fail, you will come back to her one day Even the form you see before you. Shard is the Common Ancestor to all living beings, he is what a sentient being was before they had the other elements added onto them. Always remember, that all of us underneath were once the same, even the Gentleman you now fight." The Crimson Keep "I am the Crimson Knight, a pleasure to meet you young one." The Knight said. "ANd this place, well we are everywhere and yet nowhere at the same time. In essence, it matters not where we are. Would you care for a game of chess?" he said, seeming to be distracted from his train of thought at the prospect. "You see the Fellow I usually play against is busy at the moment. It is rather boring playing against the magic entity I created as I know all his tricks." The Clockwork Tower It did not become much clearer, the darkness here was unnatural to say the least, as it seemed no matter the power of flame, it maintained the same level of light in the corridor. Xavier now however saw a Single Brass door in the Darkness, on it was emblazoned a very familiar symbol, that of his order, the Cinder Knights. It looked like a Flaming Sword, held aloft by an armoured hand.
  3. Panik threw a Punch towards the Giant, while he was busy with his now bleeding hand. "Panik, say die Giant!" ((anyways, sorry about that lol, stopped paying attention to this for a little too long I think.))
  4. Wow, this post gets moved to another forum and it gets actual eyes on it lol, Yea I am definitely going to do something, it depends how much of an extent I want to get into it though.
  5. Mister Buttons "I guess you could say that." The Goat said. "I do know of some very powerful magic, perhaps it would come in handy one day. Now, young Oarloff, is there anything you wish to know? I must away soon, I am needed elsewhere." Mistless Peaks "You may call me Shard, I am here for a friend." the Rock Man answered. "And were prey tell did you learn of this Earth Magic? You are no Templar of Tectaniteus are you? How is it that you have such a connection with the Earth of Graterras?" A Windswept Field The Tower seemingly invited Sigurd in, as he approached the door swung openly slowly as if the wind itself blew it open. All he could see inside was a single Ivory staircase that ascended into the heavens. It had a lavish golden trim and seemed almost otherworldly. It was a long climb up indeed. He felt compelled to climb the stairs. They called, beckoned. The Winds even seemed to gently try and push him towards them. The Crimson Keep Marcus saw one thing now clearer than ever at the end of the long hall. Below the Stained Glass window stood a single table, and seated at it, was a lone Knight in Crimson Armour. It was strange, he almost seemed like those mounted on the walls, the Monochrome Crimson made him feel as if he was a statue, however, it was evident he was very much some sort of being. In the Middle of the table sat a chessboard, the pieces closest to him coloured the same red as his armour, the far side sat other pieces. They looked strangely mechincal in nature, like the bio-tech and similar devices in Marcus's homeland. They had that brass colour to them and they looked like they were made of tubing and pipes. A Ghostly hand played the other side of the board. However, Marcus had never seen such fat games of chess, each of them went by blindingly fast. The Crimson Knight seemed to be getting bored. He had leaned his head in his hand when he caught sight of Marcus. "Hello, I didn't know I would be having vistors. Welcome to my home. Would you take a seat? it would be awfully rude of me to not allow you one." he said gesturing to the empty seat the Ghost Hand had been at, as it had seemingly disappeared. Forest of Nightmares Helze was greeted, with a strange sight one she couldn't quite understand. this was definitely her home in the past, but that wasn't the worst thing. Someone she knew all too well was sitting in a large comfy armchair by the hearth. It was her Father. ((I need you to describe how he looks for me by the way, that way I know XD.)) An Old Friend "It seems foolish to put so much hope into that thing. It is only so long before those Ogres come back looking for it." Thorne said, a rather concerned look on his face. "I really think we should tell the Elders to be rid of the damned thing, I can only see it bringing more sorrow."
  6. No, all the races seem good. No, there is enough normal races for there to be no need to add anymore from those that currently exist. No, because Victonaris are the only race I have ever created really, and those are my babies. Besides, they don't fit this world as they are a more Warrior and honor type of society. Magic not really their strong suit. ((if you ntoiced there has been no full blown mage Victonari in Graterras yet, and there won't be most likely, they tend to be rare.))
  7. Wow....I must be a bad omen or something.

Have you not been listening to enough music?

      Raindrop Valkyrie

Nope, the server instantly exploded when I arrived.....I have been listening to a lot of music of late since I am Laddering in Hearthstone and the normal game music is boring now lol.

  8. An Old Friend Thorne ducked, but fell on his bum from moving too fast. "Geez, I forgot how fast you could throw a punch Bird brother." he said rubbing the back of his head. He leapt up and dusted himself off. "Well that was an embarrassing show on my part, never thought my balance was that horrid."
  9. The Crimson Keep The gates swing open as Marcus approaches seeming to invite him into the Large Crimson Keep. The Inside was enormous. It seemed as if giants could have live here and called this place their home. It was lavish as well. Everything inside kept the same colour, that Crimson Red. It made it slightly disorienting, but Narcus still felt himself being drawn somewhere. He came into a long hallway lined with Solemn Crimson Armour. They stood against the walls, almost if silently watching for some kind of danger. Down at the end of the hall Marcus could see a large Stained Glass Window, it had a picture of a Warrior striking with his sword alight with flame. His opponent was a demon of some sort, one Marcus couldn't really recognize. He felt like he was being pushed here, like if something was doing this, however, it presence did not feel evil. Mr. Buttons "Yes, I can, however you got to be quiet about, nobody but you may know." The Goat said, raising a hoof to his mouth, indicating to be hush hush about this. "It was a selfless act to rescue me this day, and for that I grant you a token of my gratitude." The Goat said. It searched and rummaged through its fur, before finding what it was looking for. It plucked out a small ribbon from it's fur. "This is a summoning whistle, well it is a ribbon, but hush child. Whenever you need me say Mr. Buttons 3 times, and I will come, however this only works once, so be very very sure it is of utmost importance when you summon me."
  10. Forest of Nightmares Helze found herself in the clearing, and the found the small cottage you used to live in with her father, the strange wolf that had been following her seemed to disappear for now. The Cottage looked abandoned, like no one had been there in ages. The only good source of light however was coming from it, it gave Helze an uneasy feeling. The door was ever so slightly open as if the cottage was inviting her in.
  11. I still don't know who that is..... and still, I want to know of his village, and what happened to it, even if it is a bit cliche, I still want to know. ((sorry, for kinda making up a friend of his as well, but i kinda needed an in, hope that is fine lol.))
  12. Alrighty, sweet dreams people....well hopefully.....I doubt they will all be nice. If you haven't noticed though, this is a rather interesting way for me to get more info on your characters. More specifically for Akuma, I am very interested in his past, and I want to know more about that day he lost his arm. ((I should note, he has both his eyes and His actual arm back in the dream)). So basically Typh, I will be tagging along with you as Thorne, as this is your character's past, I will let you take the lead on what happens ((oh and this isn't too be rude lol, but try to be as clear as you possibly can so I can easily follow along.)). The others dreams are a little more directed by me, but they will be more convos between a character I am controlling and theirs.
  13. Yea, I wouls say 2 weeks is a good E.T.A for this, it is looking solid as of now ((at least I think so....)) as you only really have to wrangle a few minor details together for it yet.
  14. ((for interest of time, as I have some stuff to do in-between the trip to the Raven Spiral, it will be covered here, so please keep read.)) After Bjorn went to bed, a lot of the conversation started to die down. It was late and the night started to grow old. After finishing their meals provided by the cook, Irving, most wandered off to their rooms, to get some shut eye. However, some were about to have an interesting night. Xavier Only, The Clockwork Tower After Xavier had drifted off to bed, he had a most vivid dream, some might have called it a nightmare at first. He awoke in a Dark Hallway. Small torches burned with fire were the only thing about, and their light reflected off of nothing. The Edges of their light were eaten by the Darkness that surrounded him, but they seemed to light a path. He got a nasty feeling in his gut. He wasn't alone, something else was here, most likely at the end of that path. Marcus Only, The Crimson Keep. As Marcus fell deep into his sleep, he found himself in a dream. Though, it was a place he had never seen before. He stood in a desert with strange red grains of sand, but not any red, a deep crimson. A distance away stood a Giant Keep of the same Colour. He felt drawn to it, as if it was calling to him. Dru Only, Mistless Peaks Dru found himself sitting upon a mountain, the craggy peak had no snow and was flat. He looked down upon the Shattered Hills his homeland, however, he sat atop no natural peak. This mountain was far into where the clouds should be, and yet there were none. He felt a shift, something was changing. The Cliff he sat on shook and quaked violently. Just as he was about to be thrown from the top, it stopped. In all the time he spent trying to keep himself from being flung into the great expanse below him Dru didn't see it at first. But now he saw it as clear as day. Another Peak stood across from the one he sat on, it was the same as his, flat on the top and devoid of snow or clouds. and in the middle of it sat a strange being. It was a Creature made of stone, it seemed Humanoid in shape, but it had no mouth or any semblance of a face. The only feature on it's "face" was 2 black holes that seemed to serve as eyes. It sat cross-legged, and it gestured to the Half-Orc across the way. A deep gravely voice boomed from the void it seemed to come from all around, yet it was obvious it was the stone being before him was the source of it. "Sit, it would be rude not to. I have a question for you, are you The Earth Shaker?" Sigurd Only, A Windswept Field Sigurd found himself lying down in a field of Grass. All around him he could smell the fresh scent of spring. He could feel the winds his goddess had created on his face, and felt their warm embrace. The grass and flowers swayed back in forth in the breeze almost hypnotically, and it made him feel incredibly safe. The serene beauty of this place was almost too much for the senses to handle, sensory overload could very well happen. Sigurd was so caught up in the Beauty in fact, he almost missed what was at the end of the field. A White Ivory Tower stood there. It seemed out of place, like it wasn't meant to be there. Helzebeth, Forest of Nightmares Helze awoke in a forest, much like the Forest of Knives, her home for the longest time in her life. She could even see Hunter next to her, however she couldn't feel their bond like usual. She could only see the Wolf, not feel what he was feeling. It was a strange feeling, and it made Helze almost feel alone. Looking around her surrounding, other than Hunter, she very much was alone. The Darkness made it hard to see more than a few feet in front of her, and the forest seemed to go on forever. After bumbling around for awhile she came across a small Clearing, with a soft golden light coming from somewhere just out of sight. Akuma, An Old Friend Akuma found himself in a Kenku village, it seemed familiar, too familiar. And just like that another Kenku approached him. He was a strong looking young man, with feathers of a golden brown, he had kind sky blue eyes. "Hey, Akuma! AKUMA!!!!!" he said as he saw Akuma standing there. And then Akuma recognized him. He was an old friend back from his village where he was born, a Kenku by the name of Thorne. "Akuma? You alright? You look like you just saw a ghost!" Thorne said, accompanied with a chuckle Akuma hadn't heard since that fateful day long ago. Oarloff, Mr. Buttons ((as a note, Oarloff is awake for this unlike all the others. This is not a dream and is actually happening)). When Oarloof got back to his room, after appropriate time passed something strange happened. Mr. Buttons started to talk. "Hey, thanks for saving me today kid, bahhhh....oops sorry, used to pretending to be a goat..." ((Instructions for posting replies. This is a player to Host section at the moment. Each of your respective characters are in a solo dream scenario. [Nero doesn't have one yet, you will have one with Glicks at the Raven's Spiral], to reply, please put the header of your section at the top of your post, this way it is easier to keep track of. So, Zeph, you would put Forest of Nightmares, for yours, and so on....anywho, please let me know if I missed anybody lol.))
  15. trying to figure out a format for the Family trees to put on here. ((a few are done, but they aren't formatted in such a way they will work on the forums.)) Also.....I probably need a map of the city, or at least a basic one, and I am horrid at maps...... In short, yes I am still working on, yes it might be a little while more. So bare with me lol, my first time doing something like this, so I am treading new territory and that is making it take a bit longer....
  16. I went from being a guy who hated anime.......to what I am now......There literally sits on my desktop a list of stuff I need to watch, or at least see what's up with it. ((if I don't like won't watch it all.)). My friends did this to me......turned me into this anime consuming monster...

I used to not watch anime. Then I watched two series.

Anime is one of my ways to get away from my real life. Never seen stuff like Breaking Bad or the Walking Dead lol

I can identify with you so much, that's how I got into anime, literally the EXACT same way. The only thing that's probably different is that my friend's name is Pablo, the rest is the same.

  17. Alright you guys mind if I skip ahead a bit? ((not exactly to the trip to the Raven's Spiral yet, I have a few interesting dreams for people. You'll learn more once I get to it. Then we can get to the Raven's Spiral.))
  18. I dunno what that even is, but interesting. Yea, kinda just waiting now though. Need everyone to get placed somewhere and we can get this show on the road hopefully.
  19. Yea, most of us are wating on Flux, I am pretty sure this isn't dead, he is just busy, so it will return sometime.
  20. Alrighty then, good to know. Welp, I am going to leave the specifics of that to others for now, I have put in quite a bit of input already.
  21. Basically, it would be weird to have a tundra on the equator of the world, or a Rain Forest at the Poles. That kind of thing, basically are we at least trying to have some semblance of realism?
  22. Yea, thought this might get going a bit better than that. ((was talking to Murdoc about this for awhile behind the scenes.)).
  23. Not bad for Paint lol, anyway I personally will be staying out of that Northern Continent.....don't want to accidentally recreate Aurora in this world lol. Otherwise, we trying to keep this somewhat realistic climate-wise? ((Also, i do approve of dem Yetis. Rarely are Yetis very civilized so it will be a cool thing to see them, at least partially be. Though, I imagine it would be a shitty place to live with Armed Yetis running around. XD))
  24. You make that in paint? ((funnily enough.....I need to make some maps for Graterras, but they need to be detailed.)) Also, I feel like there really isn't much here, I am going to assume this is just one part of the world, there has got to be more places, no?
