  1. You know... it's probably the stupidest thing ever but... I'm glad Mario Odyssey is a thing because it gave us Bowser in a suit.

Like... that shit just gives me life he's such a DAPPER BOY AND IT'S WONDERFUL! ((also that main theme is just so fuckn' good.... I'll probably never play it, but man I'm glad it exists XD.))

"The great Koopa king in a sharp, white tuxedo. Bowser is forced into marriage with Princess Peach by Count Bleck, who plots to wipe out the universe with the Chaos Heart. Although it's all part of Count Bleck's plan, Bowser doesn't seem to be displeased with the prospect. This might just be the last time we ever see Bowser in a tuxedo." -Wedding Bowser Description, Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Well, I guess this might be the last time we see Bowser in that sort a get up, for real this time.

  2. [Nadia and Saber] It took awhile to get situated, but eventually Nadia managed to secure herself a private room. The public bath wouldn't be suited to her purposes as she'd need to focus on the wound on her hand. The extra people would make it just too difficult. Saber was awfully quiet. Perhaps he really was focusing on the task at hand, but she wondered. She had to admit, she missed when he wasn't talking. Ever if it wasn't even that long ago, it still felt like an eternity that he hadn't spoken. Nadia, never really felt this before with another person before... she wondered what it was... what it meant, as she reached the dressing room. She started removing the layers of her suit bit by bit, starting by slipping off the jacket, as well as her gloves. She looked at the wound on her right hand, a crimson line that stretched across her palm. Nothing to a mage who was skilled at healing magecrafts. She couldn't help but feel a bit unaccomplished as a mage not able to easily heal what was probably a minor wound. However, she knew where her strengths lay. Causing wounds of much greater magnitude. She thought about all the ones she'd caused, ones she was forced to just to survive. Her magic the product of need more than because it was the path she truly wished to walk. Did that make her something lesser? That her craft was designed on a need to survive, rather than a want to further the art of magecraft? She didn't really know the answer to that. The more she undressed the more insecure she felt. She remembered Saber was there and it made her feel a strange mixture of fright, and excitement. She was afraid of what he might think, but she also wanted to know as well. "Saber." she opened up. She tried to have as much confidence as she could muster, and to her credit she did pretty well but the link made it impossible to hide everything. "Hopefully this isn't too distracting for you to continue with your watch. And, I hope you don't mind the scars too much." her voice didn't convey the amount of nerves that sprung forth at the prospect of actually fully removing her clothes when someone could see the scars she had accrued. But, she didn't really have the choice in this case. She took a deep breathe, and let her clothes drop to the floor. They didn't really sit in any one place in particular. The remains of cuts and bruises were all about her body. They littered her form, slightly shining in the light due to the scar tissue. The covered her back and a lot of her chest. Some still on her legs. Something else also became visible now. In between her shoulder blades, just above the small of her back, resided her command seals. A motif of a heraldic dragon spitting fire. It's wings spread wide. The two wings made up their own seal, the dragon's head and body, the final seal. She stood there, displaying herself and everything about her that she could now no longer hide from him. She asked one question, the shakiness and nerves... surprisingly entirely gone, even over the telepathic link. "So, Saber... what do you think?"
  3. [Rider and Erica] "We have more than one girlie. Our's moves. The Iron Mango, a floatin' fortress. The ol' girl has lain waste to entire cities before. Landlubbers didn't know what to expect... they'd never been attacked from the sea before. A few nations abandoned building jewels on the coast for me crew to plunder. The seas belong to me. The Skies are mine as well." He said as he began to make for the helm. He pushed the skeleton out of his way with a mighty shove. His bones clattered against the deck of the ship and scattered everywhere. Erica could faintly hear the sigh of another crew member as he croaked out "So, who's picking up Sven this time?" and a faint reply "Ain't gon' be me. I've done it the past 2 weeks I'm free of that one." Ignacio produced a long spyglass from his overcoat and threw it to one of the skeletal crew. "Get off your lazy bottoms and keep an eye out for anythin' that looks fishy. Any giant explosions or signs of battle. And report back if ya see anything." He then continued onto his helm. In the meantime, Cojiro had decided to find a new perch for himself. This time being Erica's shoulder. She felt his weight as he landed. Further she did feels his claws but noticed he was trying to put as little pressure on them as possible as to not cause any harm. It seemed Cojiro was rather intelligent for bird. He wrapped his tail around her neck as well, sort of like a scarf. It would feel silky and smooth, more akin to fabric then to feathers. "RAAAAAAAAAAWK! Pretty Lady. PRETTY!" would be the only thing he said. [Nadia and Saber] "I'm banking on that for now. I summoned you where I had for a reason. It was remote and further, far from any natural leylines. It wasn't a place of interest in any sense. Where we are headed though it'll be a lot harder to pinpoint us as well. Even if they can sense us they won't know who the master is. I've been around this town for... quite some time now. A few years maybe. I'd not know every person, but I'd certainly know any faces out of the ordinary. And, amongst all the people that are unaffiliated with the war, I don't think they'd be all that willing to make a move unless they had Assassin and could not alarm anyone, or Berserker and didn't have control over their servant. Not that we really know what our foes are... mildly disconcerning but I have you so I really have nothing to fear." Nadia explained her reasonng for her actons. She wasn't sure she truly needed to but she felt compelled. Either way, for now she continued into the cultural district. *** Nadia looked down at the map she had, and then back up at the building was now standing in front of. It was quite clearly a bathhouse. "Ah, this is the place.~" she thought over the connection.
  4. [Nadia and Saber] "I'd prefer if you stay with me right now... I'll be honest, I need you to keep watch for me." Nadia seemed rather concerned, her thoughts a little panicked. If it had been a conversation Saber would've never noticed t, but due to it being over the telepathic link he'd feel a slight wavering in her smeeingly stalwart outward appearance pass over the connection. Nadia wasn't sure if she should tell him but, trust was important in this. They were more or less one now. "What I'm doing requires me to lose focus. Which may not make a lot of sense but I'll try to explain." Nadia took a deep sigh to gather herself. "I miscalculated the ritual earlier. I didn't have enough blood to seal the circle. I had to improvise... it was short notice so I just... used my own. Normally, this not be an issue for a mage. A small wound, nothng that'd preventor hinder the use of magecraft. But, I'm not an ordinary mage. I will not be able to wield my sword properly if I don't heal this wound. However my magic is ill-suited for this purpose. It's better at making wounds worse than it is better." She trailed off for a moment seemingly piecing together her thoughts. "I need a quiet or relaxed place where I can focus on restoring myself to peak condition. Preferably somewhere warm, but.... that's not important. What is important is I need you to stay with me right now. I know where I'm headed, and I am capable of fixing this wound but... I need time to do so."
  5. [Nadia and Saber] Nadia figured the most likely place she'd find what she was looking for would be the cultural section of the city. She'd not really been there before, it was a bit lively of an area for her. But, it that made it the best place to find such things. It was more or less the true heart of this place, at least the heart of the people that wished to share their small parts of the world with this community. She remembered that no leylines really converged within it's heart so it was rather unlikely for any of the other masters to currently be there. It simply wasn't located near any fonts of power. Even if one was going for her own method of hiding out of sight, t was too busy and lively an area for such. You couldn't lay low there. However, it was the district above it that struck interest from a scouting perspective. To get to her desired goal, Nadia would have to pass through the Industrial District. If their were masters hiding nearby this would be the place... there was quite few overlaps in leylines, and it was decently remote due to t's sheer size compared to the rest of the districts. She could easily use this as an excuse to cover her tracks from Saber before it was too late for him to object to them. And she did. She made like she was searching the place, though it wasn't hard since she truly was. She didn't want to be taken off-guard by a foe, but it seemed none were here. Nadia still felt her connection to Saber and she had received information about him when she summoned him prior... was there some sort of connection they had...? She tried to focus her thoughts through that connection. "Saber? I'm not entirely certain if you can hear me... however, it seems we have no quarry here. I don't sense any signs of obvious magecraft nor any leftovers from a summoning ritual. I will be moving onto the next sector. It is the cultural sector I believe. I doubt any masters would've summoned there seeing as it's too lively an area... but a look wouldn't hurt would it? Besides, there is something I require from there so I could kill two birds with one stone."
  6. [Rider and Erica] It didn't take too long to ascend however they were on the side of the ship and would have to climb up. Well, that would be if Ignacio had the patience for such a thing. He didn't. "Alroight, flying time~" He heaved her with all of his strength and flung her over the railing of the ship. One would think she'd end up crashing into the deck however, Ignacio had already planned ahead and standing in wait was a skeletal crew member with a load of cushioned material, more or less what looked like an old spring mattress. She landed on it bouncing up and down a few times. Ignacio himself swung his massive body around on the anchor chain wrung up just enough momentum to get himself up and over. He crash landed onto his face but he managed. He quickly stood up and dusted himself off. "Weeelcome abroad the Iron Mango! Aye... ain't she a beaut? A sight for sore eyes... it warms the barnacles that arrrr slowly encrusting me 'eart." [Nadia and Saber] "Of course. We're in this together after all.~" Nadia said, she wasn't quite sure if Saber could hear her but she could definitely still feel his presence. So, she took it as much that he could. She gathered up her things, mostly just Blank. She was gong to go into the city at large now, perhaps get a better lay of the land, maybe relax some if other masters didn't notice her. It'd been awhile since she'd had time too, and perhaps she could get some in before the combat really started. It was most definitely an overzealous wish but... it never hurt to dream big. She wondered if there were any bathhouses in the city, especially ones with private rooms. She found heat helped her to heal her wounds faster... she wasn't highly skilled at healing magecrafts and heat seemed to her at the very least to at least help the process. Maybe just in her head. But, she needed the wound on her hand closed, she had to be able to swing Blank if needed. While she still could it would definitely effect her form. And that was certainly no good when she had summoned a swordsman...

It still amazes me how one of the dopiest reoccurring bosses in the entire FF series has like one of the best boss themes of the series. I almost think that makes me love it more though? Gilgamesh... you crazy.

  9. "You should be more careful, that armour may be massive, but not even strong metal will last forever. It's soul can only give so much. Further... if you die here I'll never learn your name. You'd not leave me with such a burden... would you?" The swordswoman inquired of the knight she had spoke with before a few times this battle. It seemed they kept running into each other. Expected of allies though would would suppose. Assist the knight and attack Fighter 7 with Iron Sword. Move to L20
  10. [Nadia and Saber] "As do I Saber..." she said placing her hand on his chest, she slid it down to about his belly button, just staring as she did. But, she drew it back and looked him in the eyes "However, for now it's probably for the best you don't make your presence known. We'd not want them to see us together would we? Prying eyes might be filled with envy after all." she said, her emerald eyes seemingly glittering in the candlelight. "Until we learn more about our quarry... I'm sure you understand. Besides, you'll still be with me. There shall be times you may come out to play~"
  11. [Rider and Erica] Erica would first notice, the strange cacophony of smells that immediately assaulted her nostrils upon getting near her Servant. It was a lot to process what with the scents of waterlogged clothes, general dampness and a strange sickly sweet note on the back end. Was it... mangoes? Either way the smell wasn't... unpleasant but it certainly wasn't good either unless you were a rather strange person. The second thing she'd notice would be the octopus man's immense strength. He held her to his side with his arm arm quite well. He was powerful, and it was clear he trying his bast not to squish her. He looked up and yelled up at the ship. the smell of mangoes strengthening as he opened his mouth. ((it was definitely mangoes.)) "OI!!! BRING US UP! IF NOT IT'S THE SCUPPERS FOR YOU!" Clearly whoever was working the anchor didn't want to meet that fate as it started to be pulled up immediately as Ignacio finished what he was saying. The speed as quite fast but Erica never felt like she was falling in Ignacio's grasp. His tumble earlier seemed to not be because he couldn't handle it, but probably because he was trying to do some kind of trick and messed up the execution. [Nadia and Saber] "That is the question isn't it?" Nadia did seem to drop her infatuation for the moment. Clearly able to focus when needed. She was serious about this war, she'd win if it was the last thing she'd do. "We could try and gather information on our quarry first but... it's not really my style to sit back and wait. Why I'm... lucky to have gotten you." Her mouth ever so slightly smiling at the utterance of last statement. Her eyes matched it, a playfulness to them. "After all, you are Saber. Not something that requires the need to hide or stick to the shadows. The most powerful of the knight classes. Though that does not mean to throw caution entirely to the wind. My magic can bolster your ability to fight... I am more what you'd call a mage killer. No other master should be a match for me. I'm sure the weaker servants I could easily destroy myself as well. I propose that we be proactive though. I choose this location as it was out of the way in case of drawing Assassin or Caster... it's far from any leylines and not somewhere likely for the others to look. However, being gifted you means I can be more... hehe... forward in my approach."
  12. [Nadia and Saber] "Oh, hehehe. Saber. My name is Nadia. But I am your master." she said seemingly serious however her eyes definitely betrayed her real intentions. The next words out of her mouth did as well. "Therefore... you're mine to stare at all I want, not the other way around." She put her right hand to his cheek, the one she had cut earlier. No blood soaked through the glove, though she did feel a sting as she did it, but it hardly bothered her. He would feel the light sensation of a fine velvety texture, the touch easily being that of a loving embrace. "You'll fight for me, my beautiful knight. We will fight together and make such beautiful carnage... I don't really like killing but... if they think they can stop me from having my grail, their lives are forfeit. Isn't that right Saber?" She licked her lips after saying this. [Rider and Erica] "RAAWK! Your Welcome! WELCOME!" the bird shrieked his answer back. He apparently, wasn't a very quiet bird. Ignacio quickly rolled his eyes at the parrot before returning them to his master. "Tis' fine enough for now girlie. And the Mango? Eh, she's plenty inconspicuous, our opponents would have to look up. Theeeey ain't got time for lookin' up. Hopefully they'll be killin' each other something fierce and we can open fire on the fight. The landlubbers won't know what 'it 'em. Aye... I do love me the smell o' powder in the mornin' and the smell of dead landlubber." He stopped talking for a moment as he heaved up his great mass onto the anchor, planting both feet firmly on the side he was standing on. He took a firm grasp of the chain in his right hand, tugging on it ever so slightly. Cojiro hopped up onto his hat, and for a moment Erica saw his long scarf like tail curl up as he leapt to his new perch. "Alright, next order of business, to the ship. Come along now." He said holding out an arm as if indicating she grab onto him.
  13. [Rider and Erica] "Aye, I'm fine girlie." He said standing up. He reached his hand up to the giant anchor hanging above him and pulled himself to his feet. That's the first Erica saw his face. He had a long beard however it wasn't exactly what you'd call normal. It was a collection of tentacles that hung to his face. He flashed her a toothy grin as well, full of rotted black and brown teeth. A grisly sight indeed. "Rider? Damn... I was scuppered. What a borin' class. I should've been Assassin or something cool soundin" as he said that a squawk could be heard from above "RAAAAAAAAAAWK, Not sneaky. NOT SNEAKY!" The most beuatiful bird Erica has ever seen flew down and landed lazily on Ignacio's shoulder. It was a brilliant cerulean blue, like a small piece of the ocean came to life and was sitting on the Dread Lord's shoulder. "OI! Cram it ya damn good fer nothin' birdbrain... I'm plenty sneaky." [at this point the camera zooms up the hole the anchor made and then we see a wide shot of the carnage inflicted with a giant pirate ship floating above a giant hole it created in the side of the building.] Ignacio then suddenly bows out of nowhere. "Greetin's Milady~ I am Ignacio, the first Dread Lord. This here is my rat with wings Cojiro. We are at your service." Cojiro responded by only saying the words "RAAAAAAAAWK! Pretty Lady. PRETTY LADY!" over and over. [Nadia and Saber] "You'd be correct. It seems I've got myself a decent ally." Nadia giggled to herself placing her gloved left hand over her mouth. She then slipped on her other glove. She hoped her servant wouldn't notice the wound on her hand but she also knew there wasn't much use hiding it. She was content however, a saber was perfect for her needs. She wasn't really impressed by the object she assumed he called a sword. A disgusting unbalanced hunk of steel... she'd not have to swing it herself though. She could continue using Blank. And she did get a servant of the class she had hoped for. She couldn't ask for something with a sword more perfect than Blank... because such a thing probably didn't exist. "I assume you know why you've been summoned Saber?" she said in tone lacking seriousness. It was more... sensual than anything else.
  14. Ignacio, The Dread Pirate Lord. [Rider and Erica] The flash of magic from Erica's summoning was probably much larger than she ever expected as the flame suddenly burst outward and expanded. The room became hot with the power of the magic. suddenly, Erica heard a loud crashing noise. It sounded like something barreling through the upper floors of the highrise. Loud crashing of glass and the crunching of wood erupted from the apartment complex. Through the roof of the room erupted a large anchor of a glistening black material sending wood and dry wall flying all over the room. It seemed like it had enough momentum to keep on barreling through the room but it stopped abruptly before the floor. For a long time, nothing happened but the anchor sitting there just hanging in the air. The air was dead quiet. Until suddenly the sound of a man yelling could be heard, and he was yelling in... pain? Suddenly a second hole was made in the roof of the room Erica had prepared when a large figure burst through the ceiling. he smacked into the floor right on top of the summoning circle right in front of the anchor. Would one gather from this he slid down it, or... attempted to but fell off partway down. He gave a weak thumbs up without moving any of the rest of his body. "Ye called?" the only words he said, slightly muffled from speaking them into the floor.
  15. "Hmmm... seems I didn't acquire enough blood. I'll have to make due then." said a woman clad in black. Her summoning circle sat in front of her not quite complete. She unsheathed a longsword from somewhere out of shot. A dull glint from the dim candlelight in the room shone off the blade, a lazy orange hue. "Sorry Blank... but you'll have to bite into me first this war." and with a deft strike on her hand she let lose a small amount of blood from the palm of her hand. She filled in the rest of the circle with it before taking a deep breath. Tendrils of darkness suddenly surged forward from around the skittering candlelight. They wormed their way into the wound on her hand and stitched the skin together. She'd have the time to heal before this all started hopefully, but she was used to fighting with wounds before, it'd not hold her back much. She meditated for awhile, reflecting on this all. A War? How exciting.~ Nadia had found her way to the poor district, and further into the abandoned section of town. She would be rather safe here so she had the time to reflect on herself. She probably wouldn't get a chance to rest like this after she completed the summoning, so she wanted to meditate at least once beforehand. She thought about her journey here. It was strange. The city wasn't really difficult to find despite how it didn't appear on any maps. She wondered if it was magically hidden in some way... and what it was that allowed one to pierce that barrier. Magecraft, it had strange ways of working. She wondered if it was resolve that allowed it to be easily found? Perhaps leaving was the same. However, she didn't intend on leaving anytime soon. She came here knowing that it could easily become her grave. She came here knowing that she'd not leave for a time. At least, not until the war met it's conclusion. That was enough reflecting though... it was time for action now.~ She sat at the edge of the circle and took a deep breath. "Blood flows unhindered Stories of great knights intertwine My body is yours Your heart I desire Brandish your soul against my foes Come forth with me unto victory!" Nadia changed the verse ever so slightly hoping that it'd skew her chances to summoning one of the Knight classes. They were the most usable for her style. She didn't feel like lurking in shadows with weak servants that couldn't do anything but hide and bide their time. She hoped to find a strong ally in this war... not one that was weaker than she was.
  16. Hmmmm, honestly might have to get a Sanaki Avvie at this rate considering she keeps being like a super mvp on my teams. ((and has been all of Tempest Trails cause she invalidates Veronica's existence.))

    1. Anime

      Anime

i feel like i'm missing out on a lot of characters i barely scratched the new Fe games before i broke my consoles

    2. Commander

      Commander

Sanaki is a PoR and RD character and I really liked using her as a unit even if she was kind of bad. And I'd believe it as I've seen what Ike does to Veronica.

    3. Raindrop Valkyrie

      Raindrop Valkyrie

Keep in mind that Veronica's RES is lower than her Defense, and that Sanaki has default TriAdept. She take no damage unless the special ((and can take 1.))

  17. Marthcina is really just a clean Lucina if you don't have it without a boon. ((I'll note though that the 5* one is just extra 600ish? SP since you level the 4* feather her to 5* then level both 5*s all to max 40 and you get a fair amount of SP to work with with though not enough consdiering having to make her entire kit from scratch. ((though... C skills are largely fluff, and Regular Lucina will almost always replace her A skill cause it's just not very good.)) It's really jus that you don't get a natural special that sucks since it makes that cost a SHIT load more to pick up. It's mostly just a nice thing to have really more than anything else. Any I didn't actually come here to talk about that... I mostly came here to say that geez leveling is a lot faster than it used to be for me due to having a good support core in Olivia + Bride Cordy. Basically... I can just full buff a unit and dance them for a double attack and feed them most of what's on the map. Case in point... I rolled a 2nd Sanaki earlier today and she had perfect IVs so I merged my 40 copy into her having to relevel her. It took under an hour if even a half hour... ((and 2 stam pots but I have a fair few lying around still.)). It did help I had rather good luck and that with Swordbreaker she basically destroys all greens the majority of reds ((espically in the Lunatic sections of the TT when the entire map is full of the summonable units... which makes the rate of swords appearing skyrocket due to just how many there are honestly lol.)) Which basically means I more or less have two finished mages. Sanaki just needs to inherit Swordbreak 3, and my Ursula is completely finished. ((would post a screenie for Ursula, but my phone is charging at the moment.))
  18. TFW you just roll a single in FE: Heroes for the Memes and you actually end up rolling a copy of one of your 5* units with perfect IVs. K den...

      Raindrop Valkyrie

My luck for F2P has been pretty gross honestly.

5*s I've rolled that I remember off the top of my head: 2 Sanaki's [who I was just talking about.], Takumi ((who I don't use cause tbh... I don't think he's that good.)), Bride Cordy, Charlotte, Hector, Ike, Lyn, Ryoma, Camilla, Ninian, Eldigan ((who I used for Fury fodder)), Genny, and Linde.

oh and a Roy I immediately turned into TriAdept paste cause it's all he's good for.

    4. Raindrop Valkyrie

      Raindrop Valkyrie

you can add Ursula, Xander and Sharena for feathered 5*s. ((all my other feathers were used for SI projects, including a 5* Odin to give Ursula Blarblade+. Which I have to do again for Linde.))

  19. Rayne returned Clarisse's thumbs up before flying off. "Alright Beau, let's cause some carnage~" "Ach, Finally you're speaking my language Lassie." he seemed to snort in reply. Move to D7, Equip Iron Javelin.
  20. "You're correct, now isn't the time. We end this battle first." Akane spoke to the boy as she moved forward. She kept her sword in it's scabbard for now, as she had learned to draw her blade and attack at the same time, it really didn't matter if she had it prepared in advance or not. "However, I understand. My people are a common target of these... so called "noble" men..." a ample amount of venom hung in her voice when saying that. "You've possibly run into a few of them, maybe even from the remnants of my clan. Heh... perhaps they were really the lucky ones in the end. How cruel fate is." "Either way... you deserve the life that you're fighting for. It'd be a waste if you were to die here. You'll have to beat me to taking his head though. The Bastard's standing in my path, and the only reward for that is... death." Akane didn't really smile, but she did crack an ever so slight smirk at that statement. Move to L18
  21. Master Sheet: Nadia Darke Servant 1: Ignacio, The Dread Pirate Lord (Rider) Servant 2: Azegeor, The 13th Lord of Night. (Caster) Have some sheeeeeeeeets.
  22. "Maybe... I feel like somehow she knew I'd leave though. She always acted a little strange when seeing me the last few days before I did leave. As if she was surprised I was still around. My ma's a strange lady. Maybe you'll meet her one day." Rayne didn't really speak anymore after that, only laying her head against Clarisse's shoulder, thinking about home.
  23. Rayne waited for Caleb to leave before letting out a long sigh of relief. She felt much much better that situation was resolved. It was quite the ordeal, it probably bothered her more seeing this as she never told her own mother that she was leaving. She rested her head against Clarisse's shoulder, feeling a lot more comfortable again. "That was kinda scary." And it was for a moment. She paused for a moment, seemingly spacing out. "But, she means well I imagine. You're her daughter after all. I'm sure she just worries about you. I... imagine my mom would be as well. Probably moreso as I never told her I was leaving..." she trailed off after that thought.
  24. "Damn, ya were paying attention. No matter. DIE!" Do the exact same thing she did last turn cause lol RNG
  25. Lol, probably a good thing. THough I am overblowing it a tad ((did have a lot of servants though last time. Probably rework most of them tbh.))
