She wasn't oft used to being seen in such a way, though, often was the case when you were known as a demon. Her people weren't exactly seen as much more than animals by the people of Gossmys. Gossians, despite being the true foreigners, never treated them well. They barely treated her people as humans, let alone more than oddities for them to ogle. Much to be expected of the exiles and brigands given a plot of land to remove them from their country so they didn't have to actually deal with their own problems. Of course, that'd be too hard. "You should focus on protecting yourselves. I can handle myself. Ahhhhhhhh!" she said putting her hand to her side. She was still bleeding something fierce. "Damned toothpicks..." she whispered under her breath.

Is this going to be another case where my characters are like half the Servant pool LOL?

No. It's not against forum policy seeing as this isn't a forum policy and is for the Discord Server and SHowdown server as described in the post.

I know I posted earlier but ye I mostly agree with Edge on this. Like everything this dude said would be my thoughts most likely if I had more knowledge. So I'll just throw it out there that I'll second this.

The tone was getting increasingly tense, and increasingly unnerving. Rayne wasn't exactly expecting a family feud. Absent-mindedly, Rayne's hand reached out to find Clarisse's. She grabbed onto it out of instinct really. Perhaps it made her feel safer for some reason. But Clarisse would feel her squeezing it in hers. Her hand was smaller and yet somehow she enveloped most of Clarisse's in hers. Rayne couldn't help but feel that maybe this would be her mother's reaction if she ever returned home. Except, maybe it'd be worse. After all, she never told her mother she was leaving.

Difficulty shouldn't be anything crazy so long as you stay away from 100%ing the game or fighting hidden bosses etc... That is the stuff that starts to get up there. Luckily, it's all optional so you can skip it. 1 doesn't really have a lot of story. This came from the old days of RPGs back before a formula really existed. This is prior to the "job" system that FF is famous for creating as well. 2 is similar if I recall? I never really hear this one talked about. I never hear 3 really either. 4 is apparently pretty good but I've never played it myself. I'll let others go over it. 5, this one is considered the pinnacle of the Job System and is considered by far mechanically the best by a lot of people. It's not too shabby in the story department either as far as I know. THis is one that is commonly in the running for best FF but is probably the least popular of those games. The system is a bit in depth though so, exercise some caution. 6, is one of my personal favourites. It's pretty simple and I'd not consider it that hard. The story is phenomenal. it has some of the best music I've ever heard in games of the era it's just a solid super good game. It forgoes the old Job System for a more set party and what will eventually become the materia system in FF7, the magicite system. These are gems you may collect later on in the game that when equppied to characters allow any party member to learn new spells, get extra stat bonuses when leveling and a few other little bonuses. It gives you a pretty decent amount of customization. 7, I personally despise 7, even from back in the day I never really liked it much. These days it's aged too much for me toever want to go back to it. I'll let someone else that is more connected to this one sell it to you. 8, same as above really. I really don't like this one. 9, I hear this one plays on the nostaliga of the other FF games super hard apparently. So, I've heard that while it's super good ((though having a bit of old age issues.)) it's best to save it for when you've got quite a few FFs under your belt already. I've also not played this one. The future ones I could give you some info on but... you asked to not have those suggested etc so I will not go over them at this time. I'll only add the caveat that FF11 and FF14 are MMORPGs so if you do go further into the series you can skip those entirely.

Meredith took a deep breath. She wasn't really happy about having to fight in all this damn sand. It was bad enough standing around in this armour... fighting in it would certainly make this heat worse. Where was an Oasis, full of crystal clear blue water, she could just jump into? Preferably wearing as little as possible to maximize the effect. She sighed at the fighter standing in front of her. "Stop starin' ya moron. It's a battle, not a starin' contest!" throwing her javelin directly at him. Stay put and throw a javelin with all her might at Fighter 1.

Not truly that surprised no lol. And don't be too hard on yourself, I'm not much better at it either ((to be fair you chnge your name all the flippin' time on Discord so... I don't know how I'd ever be able to remember though.)) And lol, just keep in mind it's pretty much a joke. I riff on myself a lot cause that how I get those thoughts out of me more or lee. I didn't know why I was such that way until more recently. ((like in the past 2 yearsish... mostly last year.)) and that I use that type of humour more or less cause it gives me a sense of control over it. Like, I can say I'm garbage as a joke because that makes it powerless or meaningless. I get now a lot don't really get why I'm doing it etc especially with how hard it is to judge tone on the internet. ((since if I was voice chattin' it'd be super obvious I'm a sarcastic bastard through and through. Then again... maybe not LOL? I'm quite the master of sass.)) Also, I won't be doing any of my own. Least for now. I'm sure the folks that I'd shout out for this know I appaicate them. But also because posts like that take a hell of a lot out of me and I have to think about them for a long time. This year is also hardly over. I'll have to think about it for the time being. I have been reading my shoutouts doe. Pings help with that a lot. I'm surprised in some way sot get as many as I have. I tend to be a footnote in most folks lives. Just a presence that exists. Not riffin' on myself there just how it tends to go. I keep to myself a lot and tend to not be the easiest one to approach. Or at the least, that's the perception for some reason. Perhaps give me a random pm on here or Discord once and awhile... I tend to respond to anyone that takes the time to go out of their way XD.

The Creative Works sub-forum is a place for Rebornians to post their own creations and work they wish to share to the community. Not the works of others. While it can be argued that a translation is one's work it still falls under the purview that someone else created the piece of fiction in question that you are translating. Therefore it is still the work of the original author. This isn't in line with the purpose and the spirit of this sub-forum, as it is meant to showcase the work of our members and people of Reborn, rather than works created by those from outside of our community. While I'm not against people translating works into other languages so that others may enjoy them as well, this isn't the place for it I'm afraid. I'm going to have to lock this thread as a result. There won't be any warnings from this ruling but a fair heads up is needed, and that is the purpose of this post. Anyway, Hukuna Sensei, out.~

Akane saw something in them. They weren't quite as filled with tar as the rest they had encountered thus far. Perhaps honest men that got caught up in something they had no intentions of ever being part of. Perhaps due to that wretched beast known as coin... she never truly understood why those from "civilization" fought over pointless bits of metal... but she wasn't really here to muse on that. Either way, she knew they were different. She could still see it through her quiet rage. Her tone was clearly harsh to the men, filled with an anger that bubbled, but it wasn't directed at them. At least not in a negative way. If they wanted to save their friend they needed to listen to reason. "Further, the lance wound is the least serious. My companion aimed only to knock him from his feet. Not to kill. The only murderous intent he had was against that captain of yours. It's the gashes you need to put attention into. " she said pointing at her sword strokes. "Nothing that this can't staunch, however. He's a good fighter unlike most of these rats around here. He just wasn't quick enough to avoid my blade. He's lucky, for most it goes worse fighting a demon." she gestured with a vulnerary in her hand. She gestured to make sure it was clear what she held in her hand and that it wasn't a weapon of some kind. She gave it an underhand toss towards the one that still had a level head on his shoulders. "Catch."

"Heh... I still have something to do in this world. I'd claw my way back up through that thing your people call Hell." Akane stood up, the arrow still lodged in her side. She shot Marcus a look that he might not have even seen. A slight smirk not much else. "You missed a spot." she laughed turnin' slightly to show the haft of wood still sticking out of her side. Akane sheathed her blade, she needed her hand free to deal with this particular problem. She pushed the arrow out along it's original path. Blood hiding just behind it started to flow yet again, though it was nothing that'd kill her anytime soon. A decent blow, but nothing that'd kill. She didn't really give much respect to it, the bow was not a special weapon by standards. She turned the arrow over in her hand staring at it for a moment. Covered in red it glistened with fresh blood. Her blood. She laughed. it'd been awhile since she had bled. *crack*. The sound of the haft breaking in twain as she snapped it in-between her fingers.

"Oh goddess is this a fight? This is fight isn't it? It's the start of one probably. Oh no.. OOOH NOOOO." The pegasus rider thought to herself as she silently freaked out in her mind. She didn't even realize that her hands hand migrated up to her mouth and that she obviously looked extremely worried. She was letting on a lot more physical signs then she thought, it clear that she was uncomfortable with the situation unfolding.

"I'll agree with that sentiment in part. Being overly cautious in battle can be just as deadly as recklessness. However, it's no excuse to substitute it with foolishness." She said once more to the child. She thought one of his upbringing should understand this already, however, she figured that those battles were anything but. They were showboating... and for entertainment. He had never seen real battle until now. Sure... he'd probably killed before. But it wasn't the same. It wasn't the same thing that had shaped who she was. His soul seemed much more innocent. It wasn't blackened and filled with tar like the men they were fighting. It also wasn't like hers... frozen. Incapable of feeling as she once had been. It flowed more like water. Perhaps like hers once had. She didn't really have much time to soulgaze though. As more enemies rounded the corner brandishing real weapons this time. "Hmmm... more hired maggots." she spit in their direction. "Luckily for us our foe seems incapable of being able to discern what talent is. Their lackeys are rather terrible at this combat thing. At least they decided to pick up real weapons this time. Maybe they'll be some challenge." she said cracking a slight smirk. Move to K15, attack Merc 3 with Iron Sword.

Akane didn't really agree with the sentiment of Arthur in his words this particular instance. She didn't believe owning people was... something that should be done. It didn't help that her people were constant targets of slave traders looking to sell fresh meat to the lords and those that participated in a disgusting sport. She knew however in this world that opinion wasn't popular. She'd keep it to herself. It wasn't a cause she had the time to fight for. She had a much more selfish mission to accomplish first. The boy was correct though. She wasn't fighting for him. She was fighting to defend herself. If he couldn't defend himself, he deserved his fate. There'd be no sympathy from her. Akane didn't really speak to answer anyone after though, she was more focused on the battle, waiting for more enemies to approach. She stood like a demon on the battlefield, her strange and exotic Western Styled sword resting on her shoulders. Her form emanating malice. Move to L11

"The battle is far from over. Overconfidence is the deadliest killer I know. So quit wasting your breath spewing hot air and let your weapons do the talking instead. Those are the only thing that matter. Action, not words. There are those that love the luxury of wasting the time that was given to them spewing nonsense. Many of them have died at my hand." A serious remark, but battle wasn't the place for bold face lies and terrible boasts. Braggarts were always the first to die. Akne made a point of slaying them first. Many easily underestimated her either due to her heritage or due to having but a single eye ((and arm if they could tell though most really couldn't due to her manner of dress.)). She was all to familiar with the results of such a thing, constantly being the one to dish out those consequences. She sped along not really wasting anymore time, she had done enough speaking already. She went to strike at a nearby fighter. Another man that chose an axe as his weapon. Another easy mark. She'd rip him to pieces. Move to L8, swing violently with an Iron Sword at Fighter 2.

Ye I've not played Binding Blade so I had no idea as to the accuracy I jsut know people mention it all the tiiiiiiime. So I igured they hinted at it or something if they were so sure. ((I planned to assess for myself once I got around to it but I've been slacking on my FE due to other stuffs so I've just not found the time to get around to Binding Blade.)) Also... I had a mite of trouble with the maps this time round for the Bridal thing in Lunatic. ((probably cause it was forcing me to use silly units lol.)) and due to the super prevalence of blue. As it turns out I have barely any good greens I have like the Anna I've worked on a shit load and that's honestly about it. And she's far from what I'd call "good." since she'd hardly complete. ((still needs Fury [Hukuna and the Endless Quest to make pretty much all his units angery] and to get her Sig Axe for being 5*))

I never really had much to do with the business end of the guild. I've only ever helped out with orders or tailoring work. I'm not sure what kind of business y'all do. I'm sure if it related to tailoring in anyway my mother would know about you though. She tends to know everyone regardless though. I dunno how she does it." Rayne mused, more to Clarisse than anyone else in the room.

I'm too broke to pick it up. So do it for me and I might~ ((really don't but it's going to be a LONG while until I can pick it up myself personally so...)) and even if there's endings like that that aren't always considered canon. Pent and Louise are a thing before the game ever plays out so I don't thin that one counts. ((like he automatically starts with an A rank with her cause they are married before the events of the game... so it's a bit different.)) I think the only one I can remember bieng consdiered slightly canon ((from what I've heard don't quote me on this.)) is Eliwood/Ninian in Blazing Blade ((as it like adds a decently major scene to the ending and it's apparntly alluded to in Binding Blade.)) however the latter is only something people have told me and as I've not played Binding Blade I cannot speak to it's accuracy. Either way I was planning on not rollin' the most recent banner but of course they put Lyn on it and now I am much conflict. AHHHHHHH. ((worse... I kinda like staff users myself. But that's probably cause of Genny making my opinion go up by a lot. I kinda dig having the healing utility. Though I tend to run Physic since I like the extra range since it makes positioning with my dancers easier.))

Much too forgiving for her tastes. These men had attacked them and being involved with a noble into the gladiatorial business? Clear proof they weren't exactly above the board men. She remembered her people's teachings that all life was precious, that all things had a soul, a purpose. But, if their purpose was to make life miserable for others, to only cause suffering and death... was their life really worth preserving? Perhaps too philosophical a question to ponder in the middle of a battle. She'd give the Knight this one however. She couldn't promise she stay her blade further however. She made a strike towards the poor archer's head with the pommel of her blade, hoping he'd slip out of consciousness, rather than his mortal coil. However, Marcus's light came down before she could even strike. Perhaps... it was for the better. The man was probably much more capable of mercy than she. She sought new quarry seeing as the situation here was covered. Akane spotted a rather wounded fighter nearby. He wielded an axe. A mistake surely as the slow weapon would be his downfall. He'd not really be able to protect himself from the deft strike of her sword. She ran towards him, making a swipe at his abdomen aiming to cut him open and end his miserable existence. Move to P7, Attack Fighter 3 with Iron Sword.
