I am not much of an android programmer, I can fumble my way through most computer based stuff, but haven't really touched mobile stuff. It would be weird porting it though, I am sure many issues would arise quickly, since android code tends to be pretty different to my knowledge. Not to mention, how would we control it? On PC we use the keys on our keyboard, what would you use on a tablet?

Is it just me or did they really try and hit it home that they were like a small town operation? Like, they tried so hard to get that across even though they did it like right away, but still kept going "Guys, we are a small town operation." like throughout the whole thing.

Under The Hill [OOC/Sign-Ups]

I actually already said they literally can't, they are so well matched that it actually isn't possible in my mind. (Remember they were literally the same person at one point, so to an extant they know each other so well, and the only thing that would set them apart, the Lightning powers, they are both immune to.) Though I imagine Quincy would start to become a denizen of hell, so feel free to use him, you can just kill off Byron.- 1735 replies

Damn, that sucks. Nice job though. I average around 6 wins in arena, my highest was a 9 on a priest......for some reason my priest runs are stupid good even though I hate that class. (and so much value in there, pretty much every card is above average in arena, other than the Kobold which is weak without spells to go along with it. and the Southsea Captain being pretty average, nothing special, of what I can see anyway.) You really know how to draft an arena deck not suprised you went at least 11 wins.

it is more I need to cut at least one character (this is technically 2 though lol.) and these guys are the ones I am least attached to at the moment. Viktor and Sinbad are just characters I would rather play. It has been fun while it lasted though XD.- 1735 replies

Just so you guys know, That golem is about 14 feet tall, it is SUPER huge. Also, it is something I will be controlling, so it isn't like the skeletons. (and it is totally only worth 1 point....)

ah, I see, so it is still being worked on, good to hear lol. Sorry, usually air on the side of caution when something hasn't been active in a little while, and Dark your character is totally fine I was referring to the Thread possibly being dead. -

Yea, the point where a character is thought out well enough to take them on is ususally the point where they start to be very interesting. And yea Super, even people aren't 100% consistent. It highly depends on the situation and just what is going on with them currently. SO keep the in mind when RPing. There isn't really a wrong choice unless it is like totally out of left field. Basically, so long as a character we have come to know as a good natured person, doesn't suddenly 180 it is usually fine. (it goes for the other way around as well.), you can build them up to a change of heart, but you can't just do it out of the blue. -

The Awakened - First Pillar (IC Thread)
Raindrop Valkyrie replied to Flux's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
"I am ready whenever you are, Poseidon." he said, seeming disinterested. He took a long draw from his cigar, letting out a long trail of smoke. He wondered for a second what it would be like if he had the power to control Fire instead of blood. His smoking habit would have actually been pretty useful. But he would still be a monster, with an ability that inflicted just as much pain to those around him if he used it. He reflected on his war days, and his days in the SWAT...Was it worth it? Was it worth growing attached to those people only to see them be destroyed? -

Spitballing is fun when you can do it. VIktor is actually a pretty spit balled character since I felt like playing a somewhat darker version of the family man, who for whatever reason, just can't be near his family. Spitballing, and for lack of a better word, bullshitting are kinda my most powerful tools. I can pull stuff from left field and usually make it work or at least be convincing. Like 3 characters from Graterras were made right on the spot (Jupiter, Bjorn, and Chuaff.), and people seem to be loving them. Pretty sure people are just really fond of Bjorn and Chuaff because they are a pretty classic comedy duo, where as Chuaff is the straight man to Bjorn's wise guy. Bjorn is the Happy go lucky dude, where as Chuaff is the ,as he calls it, realist. The dynamic that makes it intersting is the 'how the hell are these 2 friends?" thing. Just so you know, Making stuff up on the Fly is pretty dangerous, and even though I do it way more than I should I don't recommend it to anybody else. While I can pull it off it has always been a part of my style, by no means should any of you guys really replicate it XD. Trust me on this one, it is a dangerous and slippery slope. This is just a warning for anybody who thinks that can be as haphazard as me. That is not one thing to look up to that I do, other than the fact that I can magically pull it off. But don't strive for that, strive to better your skills as a writer. (Sorry, just getting concerned lol, I feel that since I am mod now I need to clearly state my methods rarely work for most people.) -

Yea, that last part is totally up to you, though I would find it interesting if they did plague her mind, would always be like a ticking time bomb. It also creates some suspense, and I can never get enough suspense. It really drives situations, and added that extra element would make the encounters even more frantic, since she herself has something to fear. (just spitballing here, so feel free to ignore me lol.) -

Oh it is fine lol, I tned to air on the side of everything being OP until I am proven otherwise. You can probably tell by the way I approach people's characters as well when I Sue check or think something in their backstory etc...is off or weird. I typicially air against, unless they convince me otherwise. As someone who enjoys teaching I do this to make sure people are questioning themselves and their own designs. I have a thing for prodding at things to see what others are thinking as well. (not to name names, but I actually did do it to someone here before, where I questioned something in a character just to see the thought process going into it. I can't help myself sometimes) -

Oh I think I am evolving Viktor towards the path of just going insane, that is what I am saying, I will have that planned out by the time he meets her probably. Right now, he hates himself, so it would work pretty easily, but I think hanging around Hades is going to change him for the worse. (Probably even small bursts of contact.). Totally get what you are saying though. Basically it all hinges on whether or not Viktor becomes he who hunts monsters, or if he stays the way he is now. Now he is highly vulnerable, but could probably fight it. Especially if he knows Cass is the source of it, since I think she has to concentrate, and the sudden pain of a blood clot probably wouldn't be good for that. -

VIktor has already faced his fear, that of the people he cares for dying. It has already happened twice so far, As his entire squad was decimated twice. (there is a reason he thinks he is a monster, and he has what he calls, the black touch. It isn't actually a real ability of his, but he perceives that everyone he cares for is doomed to die.), and yea I slightly agree with Strat. Really hard to straight up allow probing, to just work. I feel like you would have to work at it, and not be able to instantly. How, I dunno, that is up to you to figure out I guess. Cause, instant kill stuff is pretty unfair. (I say this when Viktor could as well, but keep in mind he has to pretty much kill himself to kill someone instantly as without medical attention he would expire quickly from the backlash of his ability..) -

Even though I don't want to, might have to drop this lol, running both the rat and Byron is really hard to keep on top of (seeing as I haven't posted in like 2 or 3 pages lol.). The extra work of running Project Brainstorm and stuff now will also just get me even further behind. (and I am not stopping work on Graterras just to preserve some character of mine XD.)- 1735 replies

I think it would be a similar thing with Viktor. That guy has seen some shit, so there isn't really anything that scares him anymore.
