They come from Deep under the Shattered Hills, but their tunnels span underneath the world. they have entrances on almost all the landmasses. I think I will leave the Shattered Hills a bit up in the air for now. From your back-story were was only one place your character could come from, because of the Forest. So she would have a little bit of a different Idea of what it was like. (That Forest however was called the Forest of Knives, it is actually one of the most dangerous places in the entire world, so she is one strong little lady. I think i will definitely share some extra tidbits about that area with you once we get there, so that you can be more convincing that you came from that area. I am willing to do that with other character when we come across their places too. Let's just say, if Akuma is still around once we get to Shifting Sands, we are going to learn a lot about the tech that creates his arm. ((it is similar to Auto-Mail in Full Metal Alchemist though, also been meaning to ask since I keep forgetting. Akuma is missing an eye right Typh?)). As you can tel, I like my intrigue. Part of exploring a world is learning new things. And while I am willing to talk to you guys about Graterras, remember I do need some awesome reveals. and just so you guys know, major god-wise there are 3 Pantheons actually. There are the Nine Divines, which are the gods your characters know. The Nine-Fold, which are those of Victonari. (they actually have 10 in number, but the Tenth is not always around. He is Io, the Nine-Fold Dragon, with each god of the Nine-Fold Pantheon, being a shard of his personality.) and there is the Vagrant Gods. This is the group that Fulmine belongs to. (He is the Bull horned Wolf who attacked lady Lumabella.). They used to have their own world, but are now trying to steal Graterras for themselves. They don't really have a lot of followers or have a heavy influence over Graterras yet, which is why they haven't shown up much and aren't allowed to be picked for characters yet. Also Fulmine is based off me if you couldn't guess it, though it may be hard to understand at first, he has a very good reason for attacking Lumabella, so it isn't that he is Evil, he is actually very much good. But that is enough on them, the Vagrant Gods don't play too much of a role in this arc, they are present for it, but they are only managing to get their grip onto Graterras in this arc, and aren't important for it.

"Aye and this is Nemesis, hopefully she plays nice with Hunter." she returned a smile. "I feel you never seen her kind before, she is a Stilfies Conder, a rather interesting breed of bird that lives in the Shadowed Isles." Helzebeth didn't notice before, but Jupiter was clad in the same Leather armour by the men, however she wasn't wearing the big unwieldy boots. She was completely Barefoot. The Bird, could hear the Wolf approaching, not sure if he was doing so aggressively, Nemesis tensed a second. It was evident that if she wanted to she could reach out and horribly damage Hunter if he wasn't careful. But she relaxed, figure it would have attacked by now. Also feeling her owner's feelings towards Hunter's master she felt she was safe. The Bird shifted anytime Hunter came near the Nasty Burn on her side. Hunter decided it was best not to snoop around there. "Anyways, what say you to get these men in trained condition? My Girls can help out as well, though they will probably work with the absolute beginners, that way we can get some more well skilled archers up on the wall." She said, in her sweet voice. The venom from before was gone. It sounded so soothing to Helzebeth in a strange way. This Woman sounded nothing like one would believe, with all the fire in her eyes. It was a little freighting she could change gears so quickly as well. Not too many moments ago she was spewing hatred at poor Hawke, now she sounds like a dainty Flower. Would be a good idea to mark her name down on the "Don't Cross" list.

That is completely Fine, take your rime with it, I don't rush things that I don't 100% need. It would be nice to have Odin's thing for his Bio, but it is not necessary. Also I just have problems thinking I can carry on a story for more than a few hundred pages. Like I am a good writier, but I am better at Loring and World Building, since it doesn't need to be 100's of pages long. This is why Graterras probably feels pretty rich, even when I am hiding a lot of the substance from you guys. This also has the problem that only I could ever really run this campaign's story. I feel like the amount of inner-working I would have to divulge would literally take forever to get another up to speed. The character's are a tad easier, though I tend to be a hard-ass about my characters, so I would never let even a Mod if I picked one ever touch say Brass or Orpheaus. Their Reactions etc are very important, and a change in their style or personality will be very grating. Brass I think would be easier to pull of then Orpheaus, though I have a feeling people would blow his hate of Sorcerer's out of proportion. Yes he does hate them, but he doesn't dehumanize them. As you saw with Dru pre-reaching Pass-through, Brass while being a bit arrogant and a bit high and mighty towards him, never once devalued him as a person. It doesn't help I choose to make every Isle it's own flavour. If you get to Shifting Sands it is very different to the Shadowed Isles. It is a bit like Final Fantasy 6, in that there is some technology, so it is psuedo-Steam punk. While the Crystal Archipelago (Seeker's Birthplace.) literally has so much magic, even the average citizen knows it. Maids have spells that help them clean, Cooks have ones for cooking. etc. (now they aren't full blown mages, but everyone has a little bit of magic.)

Nope not writing a book, it is literally all in my head. I am quite simply and mostly likly quite a bit crazy lol. Probably should write a book book though, would help get some of the lore in order etc. THey do have some Fireproofing, but not much. THey mostly have a lot of ways to vent heat, their Feathers are actually quite light and they don't have a layer of down feathers. (actually makes flying a bit rough on their bodies, so they can't do it for extended periods of time.) Also this is the first time most of the villgers have seen Nemesis, so expect them to gawk for a bit lol.

TO answer some questions, it is a riverly thing between the Jupiter and Hawke a little bit, but it is also a Man against women thing. The Men don't want the women to fight they want to protect them, seeing as they have never seen much real combat. Hawke doesn't want to be shown up by any, so he is kinda a doushe. He isn't actually narrow-minded, he is just a Naive kid. The Stilfes are almost exactly what you said funnily enough, you got good instincts. They tend to live near a Volcano on the Shadowed Isles, named Raven's Eye Peak. (named that because it's location would b the eye of the Isle, which is shaped roughly like a Raven.). How Jupiter found him, isn't for me to spill the beans now, you will learn about this Bird and her more if you choose to. The Stilfes, also have a tendency to go Blind early, as they are abomination's that were created through magical experiments. (that is why, Nemesis, has a Blue Sash around her eyes.) Luckily they kind of recovered from being pure monsters and are actually just animals now, they still however have their Monstrous size, some scales and other minor things leftover. This knowledge is mostly lost though, to most other than the Templars of Seeker. Seeker has a tendency to horde knowledge, and doesn't like to give it to more mortals than absolutely necessary. (bascially he is a Knowledge hungrey being, who doesn't want to share it with the world. Luckily he doesn't hold any malice for the beings of Graterras otherwise he would be more dangerous than any of the other gods combined. [Other than most likely the Nine-Fold.])

Wonder if people think my constant rambling about why i do thing in Graterras think it is weird. I don't really know anyother RP hosts who really do it that much, maybe it is because I want people to be able to learn from my methods, even if they are slightly insane.
-
Funny thing, I totally made up Jupiter off the top of my head. (So if she seems a bit flat at first, it is because I am still working out who she is.) The Stilfes ((Still-Fees.)) Conder [Jupiter's companion. by the way is one of these.] was a creature I wanted to show off from the Shadowed Realm for a bit now, but didn't think I would get a chance to, but I had a brilliant streak, and kinda wanted to sow a bit more drama into the Wall Team. ((since I think the tension between Sigurd and Orpheaus will be very high for the frontliners. I wanted to give that feeling to all of the teams.))

Hawke-Wall Team "Aye lads, you heard her, get your asses in gear, we got a lot of work to do before you lot are ready. You too ladies." he shouted towards a group of ladies that seemed to be gossiping in the corner. With that one of them stood straight up, she seemed to the "leader" of their little group. Jupiter-Wall Team She stood there visually striking against the other wise bleak and dreary town. Her hair almost pure silver. Her Eyes 2 Emerald's sparking with a fervor Helzebeth had seen only a few times. She had just about as much passion in her eyes, as Odin did back before the battle with the Gentleman. The eyes of somebody willing to fight til the end for the village she loved. She wasn't very tall, but she almost looked as if she was 6 ft tall, just her presence alone made her feel like a giant. She was fit, she moved smoothly, but deliberately, there was little grace to her movements. She deftly notched an arrow to the simple longbow she was using, and quickly fired a shot. It whizzed by Hawke, seeming to not doing anything to the man. Then all of a sudden his trousers dropped to the ground. He quickly pulled them back up, looking very embarrassed. "Now, that a woman is in charge here, maybe we won't be ignored." she said, her eyes shooting daggers at Hawke. "Now that Brass is back you have the nerve to be trying to usurp who he put in charge, just to save your little ego." A face of horror came over Hawke's face, then it swiftly changed to anger. The brash boy was playing hero all this time, he didn't want to believe that the women would be more accomplished then he. He wanted to prove he was an asset to the village, all this thoughts weaved through his head. He grumbled, his inexperience as a leader clearly showing. Why Brass put confidence in this man was beyond Helzebeth, though she figured with how Brass operated that it was that he wasn't getting a full picture of what was going on. Hawke was obviously obfuscating the truth. As this mystery women(to Helzebeth as of now.) was clearly a better shot then he. Now she with her girls in tow, strided over. "I am Jupitar." she said in a soft silky voice. It was a stark contrast to her yelling earlier. She had that innocent sound to her voice, sweet, like she was always whispering sweet nothings in your ear. Her persense however somehow remained terrifying. Being near her felt like the air was hot with anger, and pain. It was probably due to the man downplaying her skills, just so they could steal the glory. Once again she stared daggers at Hawke, then a look of disgust came over her face. "If you want to play hero, remember you actually need to have the skills you claim to have." she snorting in a rather unlady-like way, mostly of out of disgust. "If it weren't for me you still wouldn't be able to hit the broad side of a barn. I am done staying under your shadow Hawke, I am done being strangled in your web of lies." Hawke had no words. He knew he had been had. He quickly shuffled away, disappearing somewhere in the crowd of men now gathering. Some had already began practice. Jupiter Looked at Helzebeth straight in her eyes. Her elemard eyes a storm of fervor and rage. Helze could tell it wasn't towards her though. With that a strange Bird sounded above. It was like nothing Helze had ever heard before. It landed quickly at Jupiter's feet, much to big to land on her shoulder or hand. It was evident to Helzebeth that this women was a ranger, though most likely self-taught, she might not even refer to herself as one. The Bird however was a terrifying sight. It had a long blue sash covering it's eyes, the tips of which were sown with a pattern of silver. It had a huge scar down it's side, ugly, a severe burn along with a puncture wound from a spear. It had beautiful Feathers, a rich earthy brown, almost the colour of Leather. "Perhaps, we should show what a real archer is?" she said to Helzebeth, playfully, with a wicked grin. ((by the way, yes you will find out more about this, strange Bird creature, as you can tell, it is no ordinary Bird. Considering it is at least as tall as Jupiter is, he is pretty big. [she is 5'4 for reference]. It isn't presay magical though so no it isn't op for a Ranger pet, it abides by the rules I set forth. The only time Ranger would even break my rules as a character will be if he is insanely powerful. {and one does not currently exist in my lore, for now.}))

Theo deftly weaved straps together, using the Handkerchief as a liner to make it a little more comfortable for the Little Dragon. Luckily most of what he was carrying food wise was used up already, however he still had the Horn, and a few strange baubles of the past left over. He buried everything but the horn, there was no way he would be able to carry them all, and he wouldn't burden the others with his trinkets. They would probably think he was silly for carrying them all this way. ((If they somehow didn't think a panda with a monocle and a miniature Pith Helmet on his head, didn't already come off as a little silly.)). He used the last left over strap to connect his horn to the harness. He placed it on himself, it was a bit snug for his tastes, but he figured it would loosen with time. He went over to Nivia to retrieve the little child, picking her up gently in his monstrous hands. It was so strange to see something created to destroy, handling a fragile child with the utmost care. It might have looked alien to them if Hydreigon's weren't also forces of destruction. He placed little Umbra into the harness to see how she fit. She didn't seem to protest much, so he figured it fit well enough. Theo made sure to keep the back of the harness open, that way, Umbra would be warmed by the Fur on his chest at least a little while they were traveling. Inadvertently, he had placed her over his own heart. Umbra quickly fell asleep to the rhythmic beating, and the slight heaving of Theo's Chest as his lungs filled and emptied. A Giant Beast loomed over the child, at least for now her guardian, the one that would protect her. He would keep her from any harm he could, and watch as she grew up. He felt he owed it to her in a way, after he had not been able to keep her mother from death. He remembered there was nothing he could have actually done for her mother, remembering that he didn't even know why she had attacked at the time. He placed his big paw gently on little Umbra's head as she sleep. A few tears dropping from his eyes. The Bear didn't even realize he was saying his thoughts out loud at this point, while tears streamed down his face. "I will protect you forever, I owe it to you and your mother to see that you grow up. I will always be there for you Umbra, nothing will ever keep me from you. Not an army of Trevenant, not this dark wind, not the humans. Not even Arceus himself, can keep me from your side. I swear this on my very life, No. My very Soul. Be I damned if I cannot keep my promise to you little one. I hope one day you grow to live in a world without all of this turmoil, without all this darkness and hate. Hopefully, I can deliver you from all that I can. Whether my body break, my soul shatter, or even if I fall to the darkness, I will protect you no matter what. I promise you this little Umbra. You are more important to me than the past I lost. Because you are here now, and I may never and out who I was." ((by the way, I felt the song fit. Yes it might be League related, but I don't think that matters.))

Brass studied the small trinket in his hand. It was a simple piece, but that is what Brass liked most about it. Simplicity. It was a beautiful thing to Brass. "Earth-Shaker, huh? Nice One, though don't make Magnus to jealous though, he is an irritable old Dragon God." Brass laughed heartily, in his normal booming way. Concern however came over his face. Brass started to worry about Helzebeth a bit. He wondered how the training was going. "I hope Helzebeth is alright." he blurted out, like he didn't mean to. He looked flustered for a second, when he hastily added "I got the impression from when we were traveling she was a quiet one. I don't know how she will handle training the men. I hope I didn't throw her in with the sharks, so to speak."

It would probably be best to accept the canon of the main story etc, but there should be no interaction with any of the character in it imo. I do this mostly to avoid any weird plot stuff, but if you think you can pull it off go ahead. Other things, don't let any players have their characters have any real relation to a character, as it will almost 100% of the time end up with a Mary Sue being created. Most people can't be trusted to do it tastefully. (Never direct relationships especially, if they had a brother etc, we would know about it in the established media, not something that would magically just happen.) But otherwise, go with what you are comfortable with. I believe a host should choose how to run their own RP, and if they can handle it, they should do it. So 100% up to you. (Hope that doesn't sound like a cop-out. ) -
Brass-Wall Team "If you mean the way the Earth itself recoils. Yes I do. Even it knows of the coming conflict." Brass sighed of relief, his suspicions had been sated. The sorcerer's he feared cared nothing about the elements they abused, and most couldn't commune with it. The fact that this half-orc could, lifted the burden from his chest, and his heart. "I am sorry I judged you to hastily Dru. It is evident to me that you aren't the kind of Sorcerer who thinks the elements are his tools to abuse." Brass looked at Dru, a kind look on his face. "I feel like I have met a kindred soul today, or at least figured out one was with me. I care not that you are no Templar, you are one to me." Brass placed his hand on Dru's shoulder. "Now let us rest up a bit. There is not much we can do for the archers, our skills are a tad different." He laughed "Got some good tea back in my tent. Best to drink the beverage of the scholar before a battle, and free the mind." Hawke-Wall Team "Lady Helzebeth, I assume?" said the young strapping lad from before. He had rather rugged features, though he looked no older than 22. He had a sprightly Ginger Beard growing in, to match his shaggy red hair. He seemed a bit shy and reserved for one who had been running drills for the men. It shoed that he wasn't experienced leading people. Helzebeth hadn't even seen his archery skills yet, and it was weighing on her mind without a doubt. "It is a pleasure to have you helping us out, most of the men here have never shot a bow before, but they aren't in shape to fight in the frontlines. A lot of the women are here too, the Men didn't want to force them to fight on the frontlines when they had never fought a day in their lives." Hawke was tense, probably from trying to hide how nervous he was.

Snap I don't take issue with that. There are more than one person on Earth with odd coloured eyes. Viktor's eyes weren't origanlly like that either, the red eye is a result of his powers. It is kinda a mark of it. I have a feeling Viktor won't like Hades too much. Think he will be fine with Zeus and Posidion though, judging by their personalities. -
"Alright, good. Helzebeth! Dru! You two with me. Frontliners, report to Orpheaus at the front gate, it is big can't miss it. Scouting team, Meet up with Steele at the Southern Gate, we will brief you there. The War Planning is now over!" Brass said his loud voice booming like an earthquake. Wall Team Brass walked with Helzebeth and Dru in tow, not looking back once to see if they were following him. If they got left in the dust so be it. As he led them to a small area, covered in Hay with rough targets pinned to the walls. Some men were practicing their shots, though not really hitting much, except for one young lad. He walked over as soon as he saw Brass. "Hawke, have the men been making any progress under your tutelage?" Brass asked in a hushed tone. "Not much sir, they are all pretty new at this." Brass looked at Helzebeth. Then he shouted loudly, his voice sounded like Granite crashing against the sound of a mountain. Everyone stopped what they were doing and listened to him. "Men! Hawke has told me you have had a hard time improving! But tonight of all nights, we need you to be at your best, because tonight we drive back the Hordes of the undead, ONCE AND FOR ALL!" This was met with a loud cheering. Brass held up his hand, and closed it into a fist. The cheering subsided as quickly as it started. "But we have no time to celebrate, we need to get you combat ready. I have brought you a second teacher. Hawke will be working aside Lady Helzebeth to train you all in the ways of archery. You will treat Lady Helzebeth as if she was me, and with the utmost respect, she is a friend of mine." Brass passed his wild Brown eyes over the crowd, they seemed to thrum with a power that wasn't there when the heros first met him. He had lost his normal cocky attitude, and seemed like a natural leader. Helzebeth and Dru, couldn't help but think if Brass was this calm, why wasn't he the leader of this village, why was this Orpheaus character their leader? Orpheaus seemed brazen, and a little hot-headed compared to Brass. either way now was not the time to question, there was work that needed to be done. "If that is all I will be in my tent if you men need me." With that he backed up, and came back to Helzebeth and Dru. "Dru, I ask you come to my tent good man, I would like to have a chat with you. And you Helzebeth, remember you have Hawke with you, you Two will be leading the training exercises. I know you are a more quiet individual, but you are the best shot we have, no one is more qualified to train them than you. Oh and make sure none of the men try and pet your wolf...." Brass started to slip back into his jokester ways. "We can't have to many of our archers getting decommissioned before the battle." Brass chuckled, his voice grumbling like the Earth. Frontliners The Four made their way to the Northern Gate. There was more of a bustle in this area than anywhere previous. They noticed all kinds of men scurrying around, and practice sparring all around the yard. They were of all ages, from 16 to 40. Any able-bodied man was here practicing the craft of the sword. The Four looked for Orpheaus, thinking he would still be in his golden armour, they almost missed him. He was now dressed in much more plain armour, a simple Leather Variety. Many of the men scurrying to and fro wore a similar suit. He saw the Four approaching and he turned his attention from an older gentleman talking to him for a brief second. He finished his conversation, then jaunted over to the heros. "Sorry Lads, a lot is going on here, we need to shore up the walls from the damage from last night and I am trying to get practice drills running. Mind coming with me down to the damaged areas? Afterwards we can get you lads sparring with a few of the lads to get them practiced up." Scout Team Steele stood by himself on the edge of town. The Three Approached him. There was a still air, one of danger and mystery, It didn't help that Steele was clad in all black, though it probably kept him very warm on this Winter Morn. "Alrighty, not sure what this mission is about, but I am looking forward to it." Odin blurted out as they were walking. The little Dwarf man seemed to finally have his mind on something else, it was probably the danger that caused him to snap out of his haze. He seemed to have excitement on his face, like he was ready for anything. as they reached Steele, he shifted his weight, have been leaning against the makeshift wall, he stood up straight to greet the men assigned to him. He pushed up the large brimmed hat he had on, so they could see his eyes. They were an eerie solid grey, and looked as if they were forged steel. They seemed cold, almost as cold as the next thing he would say. "This mission is dangerous, I can't have anyone with cold feet. If you think even for a second, that you aren't cut out for this, leave now." He said, his voice harsh and clear. "Y'all understand?" ((Please head your posts with what team you are on, Basically, the bolded Line at the top of your paragraph. numbers is definitly better for government use like the higher-ups. I like that they have a pedestrian name the cops use though. Reallly adds something I think. Used Crimson Tide cause it soounds really ominous and they would probably have such a name for a guy who can kill people using their own blood, ans his blood. ( also Crimson Tide was the name of my Dad's Worms team back when we played it all the time, really weird thing to name it after, but I get sentimental like that sometimes lol.) -

Though, hope they got over me killing my entire unit by now, really don't want to deal with that again." he said as he lit the cigar. He released a puff of smoke, thoroughly enjoying his last cigar. He had been on the run for awhile now, maybe he could finally get some rest in his bones. "Also surprised you knew my name, most only know me as the Crimson Tide these days."
