It would indeed. Though I would love to get back into this lol. Kinda regretting my decision to put my characters down on the next level. Thing was I couldn't run this RP, Graterras, and play them and all my others at the same time. Byron and Quincy are going to need a bit more attention than regular characters. Mostly since they once were 1 person, now they are 2.

I will try to think up some for ya, hwoever it may be a little while before we can squeeze you in. We are nearing the end of the first chapter so it shouldn't be too awful long.

Let's give it a bit of time yet, no need to rush yet.

"Really, I thought me and Brass were the only 2 around these parts." Orpheaus said. He was slightly less blinding now that Brass was shadowing him a bit. "It is rare for us to be anywhere other than our homeland of Pandora." Orpheaus suppressed a laugh, after all a commander shouldn't be too giggly. "I am a Paladin of the Order of Bahamut, nice to meet a Cinder Knight, we hear many things about your order. I have always wanted to meet one."

Just to break up the character things a bit, really liking everybody's so far lol., We got an interesting mix that is for sure.

There was the bustling of townsfolk running around preparing for war. They shifted around like bees in a hive, it was loud, and stunk like sweat. Everyone was pitching in. Children were even running back and forth gathering water and supplies. But even in the middle of all this bustle, he was easy to spot. It was like an ethereal Angel Stood upon the land. He gleamed in the Morning sun, looking as if he wasn't even real. His Golden Scales and Armour, were a rare beauty in this landscape. He stood in the middle of town directing others on what to do, setting up the formations, and other stuff a leader would do. His gaze came to meet the gaze of his friend, Brass. "Brass!!!" He cheered, in a equally beautiful voice. He ran (as fast as someone in Full plate aromour could) up to the Giant Victonari. Brass even dwarfed Orpheaus. They embraced quickly, and shared a hearty laugh, on common of comrades reuniting. "There you are you big Brute! We were missing ya on the wall." he said to Brass. "And I see you brought some new blood." "Aye, Indeed I did Scale Brother. I am sure they will be a boon to our forces." Brass said with a hearty chuckle. His voice still still sounded like crackling Earth. "Good." Orpheaus said as he turned to face the heros before him. "My name is Orpheaus Crownscale, a pleasure to meet you all."

Name: Viktor Grimes a.k.a The Crimson Tide Gender: Male Ability of the Character: Blood Manipulation. Viktor can control the flow of blood of himself and others. He can clot blood to stop bleeding or to all out kill someone. He can also cause his own blood to boil increasing his physical power, but rapidly ripping his own body apart. He can fire his own blood at enemies as well, also cannibalizing his own body to do so. To affect others Viktor must have a piece of Pure Iron. It wears down with every use, the more powerful effect he uses the more of the Iron will be destroyed. His personal powers destroy his own body, so they do not also cannibalize the iron. This ability cannot effect things without blood, takes an awful long time to recover from Blood Boiling. Other Awakened are much more resistant to his abilities, but not entirely immune. Viktor can also use the Iron in his own blood, but it is even more dangerous than just using his abilities on himself. (basically, His powers need Iron to function, they will first take from any Iron objects he has, then will take from the Iron in his own blood. However, the powers that effect his own body only ever use the Iron in his own blood.) Appearance: Thin, 6'3 ft tall, and ragged. Full Beard, and wild untrimmed Black Hair. One Green Eye (left), One Red Eye (Right). Brown Trench Coat, with Black Jeans. Hands wrapped in grimy bandages, not for wounds, but to make the Iron less rough on his hands. Carries a few concealed Handguns, and a Uzi. Age: 47 Personality: Aloof, tries to not let others get to close to him, as he has a tendency to end up leading them to their demise. Otherwise very quiet, a plotter, very willing to wait to get his revenge. "Live to fight another day, but never forget what they have stolen from you." Backstory: Viktor used to be a low-level Tac-team Leader in the Swat around 20 years ago, way before the Pillar incident. After being discharged after a Botched job that ended in his entire squad being killed, he was down on his luck to say the least. In an instant he was all but homeless, he spent many years as a fisherman in a local village. In poverty, he had time to lament the fall of his comrades, and how he led them to their deaths. He wondered how his family was doing, as he had left them. He wasn't homeless because he was forced to be, he was because he couldn't bear to show his face to his wife or kid. Viktor knew he wouldn't be welcome there, having been careless with the lives of others. He just hoped that his family was okay. After hearing about the Pillar incident Viktor thought of an idea. Perhaps he could redeem himself. He looked to join up with the government forces rounding up the Awakened as they were being called. He encountered a recruiter that remembered who he was however. It was the son of one of the men he killed. trying to take justice into his own hands the Recruiter pulled his handgun, he didn't care if lost his job, if he killed Viktor, the man who killed his father and got away with it. Out of instinct, Viktor threw his hands out in front of him in a feeble attempt to block the bullet. However, it never came. The man fell to the ground, as a blood vessel in his head had randomly burst, spraying blood all around the room. Viktor couldn't believe what had happened. He didn't even notice, the blood pouring from a new wound in his side. He ran, blinded by his fear, as people around the office saw him run out the door trailing blood in his wake. And from that day, he was on the run. ((Just so you guys know, the officer guy isn't dead, just lost a lot of blood and passed out, VIktor would have been way worse off if he killed him.))

Yea trust me, I have rarely seen multiple OCs in something go well, that is why I don't really like it. Possibly Murdoc would allow it, since this is his RP he has final say, but I personally would veto it.

yep, I am for it. Has she actually been on? Cause I need to at least now she is alive for Graterras.

KH, I would suggest sticking with one OC. Having multiple is usually not allowed as it is hard for people to play more than one character, and not have all just be the same person with different personalities. Thing is it is hard to make them all stick out from each other, or not just agree with each other on everything. (This is more a problem in D and D where people try to make characters that are super buddy buddy with their character, mostly to carry each other's loot., but it is a problem in forum style RP's too, as the more characters one player plays, the flatter and less interesting they get. If you notice, some NPCs are very flat, that is because Hosts need to run somewhat one dimensional characters because we literally need stock characters to fill since we can't flesh out every person in the world.) Basically, it is very hard to run more than one character, and not being a jerk, but I don't think you could pull it off in a realistic fashion.

yea it is fine. I am using it as more of a generalist type of thing. Sorta like picking just straight mage in D and D instead of specializing. Basically while she does have the use of all magic, she isn't very adept at using any of them. And yea don't worry about me too much lol, I know what I am doing.

Cool Cool. Also I was thinking of using Lightning, but I do it WAY to much due to my nickname. Sorry, it just feels wrong when I am called Lupo di Fulmine to not have lightning powers lol. I will definitely try to think of something interesting though.

"Hmmm, I will name you Umbra. That sounds like a fine name." Theo said to the little Deino in his arms, He kinda blanked out for a little while racking his brain thinking about it. He didn't really notice what had just transpired though he was pretty close by. Theo tended to get lost in his thoughts, mostly since he wasn't used to being around others. He held onto little Umbra, while feeding her a few more berries. "What is going on guys?" the big Bear asked.

This is a bit off topic so sorry about that ahead of time. But you guys think I should write up some Guides for hosting/writing? I have been thinking it would good to have some floating around the forums so we have resources right here. I would probably write one on Hosting basics, and Fantasy RPs most likely as they are the most up my alley, and Fantasy is wide enough of a genre, that a basics guide would be good.

Is personable, but tends to be a loner. Preferred Magic Type: None. Nadia has no focus in magic, and is able to use all of it, just at a much weaker level than a master of that magic. Command Spell and Location: Dragon with out-stretched wings, located on the back of her left hand. Catalyst for Summoning: Yes. (in case you ask for number, I will be picking 3.)

A day or 2 had passed since we last saw our heros. They traveled the country side towards Passthrough. THe closer they got the more lively it felt. Compared to the dead and dark landscapes around the Abyss, this was almost heaven. Though it was still marred with the Winter's touch, it had a still, silent grace. The Leafless trees swayed in the breeze of the open field, the smell of wood all about. They then reached the village. It would have looked like a small quaint village on most days, but this wasn't most days. Makeshift Barricades lined the outskirts of town, making flimsy wooden walls. Improvised sticks were fastened to the outside, and sharpened at their ends. A Man popped his head over the Barricade, shouting "State your Business!" Brass put his large palm to his forehead. "It's Me, Brass, you dolt. Come on Quellem, get with the program man." Brass said with a big sigh. "Oh sorry sir, Orpheaus will want to now you are back right away, and looks like you found some aid as well." Brass turned to the group as Quellem wound open the makeshift gate, it was loud, creaky, and sounded as if the wood was groaning. "Listen friends, lucky for us we got here during the day. The dead tend to settle down a bit in the Morn. However, we need to get to Orpheaus immediately. He is in Charge of the defense. He is a Victonari like me, though he has Golden Scales, and equally as golden armour, so it will be impossible for us to miss him at the very least." Brass said, a pompous smile on his face.

I'll think about it, once I get Graterras putting along again. It is an interesting concept, and I agree with Murdoc it is very inFamous like. That is pretty cool, since it will be more about those with powers actually being able to work together rather than fighting each other all the time.
