  1. As soon as Emilee finished her question she she could hear Rayne in the distance. "Clarisse!!!" she shouted as she ran over now that the fighting was done. She didn't really spend anytime thinking on the words of Roman... his last words. Ones clearly of envy. He died as he lived she imagined. Wishing he had everyone else around him's success without being willing to put in the work to attain it. A pitiful man he was... The worry however took over and she went to find out if her friend was okay. She saw that she was and her face lit up. She didn't stop running though and she she got over to Clarisse she dove on top of her, hugging her as much as she could. She placed her face on top of her head. "Oh thank the goddess you're alright. I was worried about you..."
  2. *SHINK* Metal piercing metal. The steel javelins weight allowed it to punch through the gaudy metalwork. It was clear it was made more for appearance than it was for battle. Rayne knew this as her aim wasn't as true as it could've been. The weight put her slightly off her game. If it was real armour, her javelin wouldn't have shorn clear through. However, the overlpas in the plates weren't strong enough to keep the javelin from just sliding through. It was his own insistence on his gaudy appearence and his own hubris that caused his demise. A fitting end for a devil like him. Defeat at his own hands. Rayne was glad, anyone who wore that... surely had it coming. "The Marigolds send their regards."
  3. "Okay!" Rayne said, steadying herself. She was still worried about Clarisse but... she was sure Emilee would take good care of her. That man, she could only assume he was the Baron that started this whole charade. He looked as wicked as she imagined. And his outfit was teeeeeeeeeerrible. It was probably the worst thing about him. That armour was the gaudiest thing Rayne had ever seen. First crimes against true love and now crimes against fashion? Clearly this man had to be stopped. She rushed forward readying the heaviest weapon she she had. Would need to hit him hard to get through that armour. "FOR TRUE LOOOOOVE!!! AND GOOD FASHION SENSE!!!" Move to S11, and Attack the Ne'erdowell with STEEL JUSTICE! ((SteelJav.))
  4. His Attack will max at 54 with +Atk. It's 51 at neutral. And uh... good luck with Triangle Adept Nowi/Ninian ((you hopefully won't see that many of them but Blue Dragons... are not going to be fun for Red Spam. Even Falchion users can't dent them with Triangle Adept which is pretty much the only A skill Blue Dragons run. Really though Nowi kinda hard counters due to Ligthning Breath. Luckily you might be able to barely push through with Tharja if it's not a fully optimized one. Just... pray they don't have Quick Riposte.)) You'll be fine on the side of blue mages so LONG as you don't leave your people in range of their attack phase for certain ones. ((like it's a really bad idea to try and bait Reinhardt[maybe Olwen but... she might be survivable due to her lower attack.] Brave Tome will say hello and send it's regards. Both hits are automatically first. Trust me... don't take them. Muuuuch safer not to press you luck like that.)) Linde you probably also don't want attacking you first. Luckily the AI isn't smart enough to trigger her Ardent Sac for free desperation kills so you should probably kill ((though it's going to hurt like hell.)) if she does attack you on enemy phase. Her defense simply doesn't exist. Luckily, you have 4 units and you should be able to trade of getting hit duties between Ryoma and Ike. Just play smart and you shoooould be fine.~
  5. It's only +3 for the Seal. He's also... technically got range in a roundabout way due to Ragnell. Mine is -HP, + Res. Still is probably the best sword user I have period. ((though Ryoma is really really similar just I would have to refine his skillset for him to be better.)) Stupidly... like stuuuuuuuuuuuuuupidly. Probably the only better sword user is Ryoma. ((due to him having slightly better stat distribution.)) His base kit is super solid from the outset with Heavy Blade being super good with his naturally high as heck attack stat. It's basically a Killer Weapon as a skill making Luna > Moonbow. You could also run Aether or other 5 CDs... but I still think they are outlandish and not really that good honestly. ((it's notable they are at least an option though since you can activate them reasonably. Personally... still don't think they are worth though. But that's just my opinion.)) I'd recommend giving him Quick Riposte in conjunction with Ragnell's Distant Counter as it will allow him to bait in something and pretty much kill it 100% of the time. Be careful when doing it to mages though, his Res is bad. ((mine is only 21 with +Res.)) Like his default Swordbreaker isn't awful but it only deals with other swords obviously. Quick Riposte helps him deal with everything much better. ((his speed isn't horrible so he won't be doubled by too too much. Especially if you have a speed buff on the team as it'll at least bump you more out of their double ranges.)) Distant Counter makes him SOLID bait and QR just plays to that really well. Vantage is also an option due to just how stupid high his attack is so he could reasonably take something out with it before they can. Depends what ya want him to do. Edit: It's notable that there is a synergy between Aether and Vantage in that he has to be on low enough HP to use Vantage which will happen after the first combat potentially. Either way you'll find it active and be able to bait another attack but... due to going first even if you don't kill them you will probably get back enough HP to survive their attacks. Like -HP is really not ideal but Ike is so good it's not going to hurt his impact much ((if really at all.)) So USE HIM. Like... I used him on my arena team for this season got like... 4000 without even trying. ((was using Ike, Sharena, Anna and Olivia. Team was sorely lacking range and mostly used Ike to bait them into their dooms.))
  6. Navarre is a pretty decent choice as he just needs... something... to help his damage. He'd need something to give him an edge an that's the only thing I can think of that really would. He still is rather middle of the road though even with Wo Dao. Draug is actually not very good with a Brave Sword. His speed is really freaking high for a Knight while his attack is extremely lacklustre with Brave Sword. He's actually probably better to run with Killing Edge, Bonfire and Speed augments. ((like his speed is really weirdly high and with Killing Edge he could make Bonfire go off super often and just beat people down with it.)) Brave Wary is probably the worst possible build for him as it doesn't paly to his strengths. I'd not bother than Zephiel. He gets a Signature Sword on Promote. If not using his Sig, Brave+ and Wary Fighter combo is the best for him cause his attack is rather high. Palla is a pretty alright option as well. Natural Moonbow and what not. She'll take a bit more from axes in turn though which might hurt her survivablity a bit though.
  7. Keep in Mind, Wo Dao gives +10 to the damage anytime a special activates. So Karel hit a lot harder than it seems since his special will usually go off. Honestly... - Atk just ruins him entirely though. He needs either neutral atk or +atk to work properly. Like his -Atk is suuuuuper bad for him cuase it's -4 to attack rather than 3 usually so he's extra wrecked by it... cause really. ((I dunno why this happens to some units... where one of the + or - stats jsut gives them a random extra stat point, or one less than usual.)) Karel is one of the better Desperation Sword users jsut cause he can take a hit and Reprisal then does... a LOT with Wo Dao. But with -Atk he's 100% skill fodder, he just not going to work properly at all. So, really you'll want to hand out his Wo Dao to someone. Most sword units that don't have a signature weapon really don't mind having Wo Dao as it only helps their damage output. ((espcially when used with Moonbow)), Problem is most of the good swords... have a signature weapon. Which is... well it makes things a bit awkward.
  8. Yea, Armourslayers aren't really ever going to be common due to the fact that they just don't really help you even get through armours that much. So even if Armour Emblem becomes popular you'll counter it with magic rather than Armour effective weapons jsut wince Wary Fighter will pretty much make it so they won't be killed by them anyway. ((Wary Fighter is... a silly silly thing for armours.)) Also as a note I'll probably keep Ike cause his damage output is... kiiiiiiiinda bonkers silly. ((espically when given QR.)) I dunno if I'll bother putting Aether on there or not yet cause Luna does the job really. ((and pretty much makes the kill against whatever attacks you 100% certain.)) when Aether only will go off next combat. Dunno we'll see... just not a fan of the 500 sp requirement for something that's more of a sidegrade then a true upgrade.
  9. "Thanks Mr. Cass. You stay safe too." she hurried over flying Clarisse towards Emilee. She knew that she'd be able to patch her up. "Emilee, Clarisse is hurt really bad, you have to help her. You have to!" Rayne held Clarisse still close to herself, afraid to move her until she was healed by Emilee. She didn't want to put her on the ground and kept hugging onto her. Beau stared at Emilee, not really happy she'd have to approach him but she had helped Rayne before. That meant she was good people. He seemingly nodded that it was okay for her to approach him, softly snorting to punctuate it. Move to M9, drop Clarisse in M8. Canto back to M11
  10. Tfw you roll an Ike but didn't even want him. Bleeeeeeeeeeeeeh... might jsut have to give Heavy Blade to someone else though... pretty solid skill. Hmmm... decisions.((Really though will probably keep for now but like I have so many swords including Ryoma who I think does Ike better than Ike... on virtue of having better stats. But too much math I don't feel like doing right now.)) The biggest benefit of Ike though... is that his starting kit is veeeery usable. Like it's rather good and prety much everything he could want. I'd probably only want to swap out the B skill to Vantage/Quick Riposte... but Swordbreaker ain't even bad. ((It makes his match-ups against other sword users certainly disgusting.))
  11. He's literally worse than all of the other Myrm like units other than Fir. ((her attack is super bad.)). Like he's severely outclassed by Karel, Lyn, Ryoma and even Lon'qu. For different reasons of course. Karel is a weird bulky mix having way better def and HP and passable enough speed. Lyn's stats are all just flat out better than his other than HP((however due to his defensive stats being lower naturally... it's roughly the same as hers.)) His base attack is a bit higher, but... Lyn's Signature weapon brings hers exactly in line with his. She also is the only unit in the game with access to Despration and Brash Assault on the same unit. This means she doubles 100% of the time regardless of speed in her 50% or below mode. ((so long as your foe can counter.)) it's a pretty big boon that only she can have. Ryoma has built in Distant Counter. Pretty sure I don't need to explain why he's good. Lon'qu has a weird niche in having the literal highest possible speed stat. The biggest weakness the guy has though? Is that he has 0 access to Boons. While it means he can't have a bane... he also can't increase one of his stats. Speed or attack are kinda... really direly needed, but it's impossible to have a Boon as of now on Navarre Now... Navarre isn't entirely garbage he's usable just every other sword unit of his general idea mostly outclasses him in some way that makes him only really appealing as a choice if you don't have any of them. ((a lot of Falchion users also are better by the way I jsut don't wanna go over literally the entire roster.)) If you do decide to use him get him something better than the Killing Edge... it's actually sorta not great on him. None of his raw stats are high enough to really abuse Bonfire, Iceberg or Drac Aura. He could use Luna but... it's really whatever honestly. You'd be better off giving him a Wo Dao ((though you'd have to literally pop a Karel to do this.)) or jsut something with higher damage. One could do a Quad Brave build with him but... Lon'qu or Hana probably do it better honestly. ((espically as Lon is jsut naturally fast as hell and Hana has access to LnD right out the gate without needing SI.))
  12. firstly Navarre has Threaten Speed, not Seal. Seal is a B skill. However I don't really argee as Desperation on the right stuff is kinda busted as hell. ((it makes pretty much any fast high damage mage win maps by themselves without much effort.)) The Orbs also really arnet' that difficult so long as you have units that dismantle the mpa. You just have to have the units on your team they don't even need to do anything. ((even if they are only lvl 1.)) As a note if one has TriAdept MRobin ((or any other decently tanky Raven mage)) that map is pretty much won since the ninjas can't really do anything. Secondly... Takumi solo'd FRobin's map for me the first time and that was without SI existing at the time. Mine is + Res though so... maybe why. But, ye like... with a dancer he nearly solo'd the map with the only other unit kill going to Lyn on Robin. So honetly you should be fine so long as ou have something that can kill Robin.
  13. He does. Deathblow is pretty much the only A skill other than Fury worth running on him due to jsut how low his speed is. It's really his most viable option with Fury for a little more bulkyiness ((and because it bumps up his really lacklustre BST. Which... while not as crazy a factor as it once was, is still some part of arena scoring)) Cam has base 32 spd or 35 with +Speed nature. Brave Axe takes this down 5 so she'll have 27/30 spd. With Hinoka's buff this brings her to 33 spd/36. I'll be honest while she will double((a.k.a Brave Quad)) a fair few units, she doesn't get them without Darting Blow. Darting might still be the way to go as the +6 from Hone Fliers should help her damage by putting her at around... 42ish attack with Brave. Honestly the biggest issue with Camilla is she's not well built for Brave axes but further... all the skills she could really really use are expensive and highly sought after or rare. Reposition > Other Move Skills for fliers. They can use a lot more utility with Reposition than any other unit and it's... a little disgusting. But as they can move over unpassable terrian they can ferry units across mountains/water or help other units traverse forest tiles without losing move, or if they can't. ((Cavs.)) Those options aren't bad just the utility that comes from Repos on fliers can't be underestimated. If Hinoka runs it though @Chase, instead run Ardent Sac or Reciprocal Aid if using Desperation. Both give Camilla the ability to be a psuedo-healer and a safer way to activate Despy. You can run the other two suggested here as well though if you want that utility in the team. ((Shove is super good for nudging stuff into/out of range.)) Fun thing... Camilla is actually a really good mage slayer due to her rather weirdly high res ((espically for a Wyvern Rider.)) However the build is rather hard to put together due to needing Distant COunter. ((so unless you got spare Hectors to burn lol.)) If you go with Killer Axe Iceberg is an option. It'll do more damage than Drac Aura at that point since it does 17. However as you already have Drac Aura and it's serviceable really up to you. Silver Axe is another Weapon option. Problem though... it's only on 5* Gunter. And well that's not rollable so you have to spend 20k feathers on it. I... don't recommend. Sorry if that's hard to follow I'm sorta rushing this post cause I'm doing stuff but want to throw out my two cents. Hopefully it's somewhat coherent...?
  14. Tfw you're playing a game no one knows so you can't share your woes/triumphs with anybody so you just have to make do annoying random people around you. ((technically, could bug the family though lel.))

Ah got'cha got'cha. Might have to wait on the series until I can pick up most of it.

And also... at least that's one person lel :P I'd have to convince other people to actually play what I am at the moment cause the only people I've known that ever have heard of are the folks in my house XD.

  15. What's funny... Est isn't even bad... like her statline is pretty solid. It's jsut all... of her skills... suuuuuuuuuuuck... like you said. Funnily enough she suffers from the same thing Oboro does. Yeeeeeeea, but the defs drops aren't worth keeping the attack on defense. Since you lose res and you'll be all the more likely to be ohko'd by Linde and crew and not even be able to counter with that damage you are getting. LnD is actively makinf Zephiel worse. Like losing that bulk ain't worth it and it really doesn't save you from getting doubled by anything if Wary Fighter is down so like you just get so much detriment out of it. As for skills, I doubt you have Distant Counter if you don't have Death Blow or Fury 3. It's another option though if a Bulky Red is better for you than a bulky green, but it... ain't a budget option. Sadly Fury and Death Blow are probably the best skills for him for A, but Defense Plus should be fine for a budget option. For support skills, Pivot, Swap or Reposition. These three basically all work the same with some differences. Pivot is the most aggressive option and allows you to move 3 spaces with an armour. ((as the other side o your ally adds +2 spaces moved.)) Swap is two spaces but does the same thing functionally. Repostion however is a more defensive option probably best used with a mage. They run forward, blow something else, Zeph pulls them back two spaces. Reposition however tends to be reserved for Flying units ((as they can do silly silly shit with it due to being able to move over any space.)) so unless you really want the more defensiveness... I'd save Repos for fliers that you want to use. Also, Reprisal works fine as a special for him as a note. Damage ones tend to be highly inconsistant. But Wary Fighter keeps you from being OHKO'd a lot so you canuse it to pretty great effect on the big guy. Bonfire is a less risky choice though. IVs, +Res, -HP ((the HP is NOT ideal. I want -Spd becuase her speed tier is literal garbage.)) A: Distant Counter B: Quick Riposte 2 ((will get 3 whenever I can afford but 2 works pretty much as well so that down the line.)) C: Threaten Atk 3 ((drops their attack on approach and increases Oboro's personal tanking ability. However one can run Speed here to make her teammates deal more damage.)) Seal: +3 HP ((mostly to patch the less than ideal -HP. She'd still have it regardless though.)) Eventual Weapon: Killer Lance+ Support Skill: Swap Special: Bonfire Basically, the idear is to hit stuff for pretty nasty damage if they try to attack her. Her Res lands on 28 with +Res and with her decently high HP she can usually live through most but the strongest of mages ((mostly blade tomes. However she survives every Red/Blue mage default skillsets who aren't named Linde.)) but she'll hit them pretty hard due to their bad defense if they don't have Desperation. ((and outright kill if they can't knock her out.)) with Killer Lance Bonfire always triggers on the second hit with QR usually ending any ranged unit that hits her. ((and a lot of physicals as well.)) Bonfire does pretty high and consistant damage due to her defense being really solid. As a note she beats most Default Lance Users with this build without needing Lancebreaker. The only one she can't really deal with is Effie for sure but she won't take too much from any of them. ((and she basically takes pretty much nothing from most swords.)) so Quick Riposte is much more preferred as it helps her deal with rnaged units WAY better and nets you the Bonfire kill right then and there everytime without having to move out of position and attack the next turn. ((her default of Seal Defense is still usable as a budget option since she can use it to clean up net turn or allow a teammate to get it for better positioning.)) For that last part... I'm only really using Oboro since she's basically my favourite character from Fates. So it's just cause I wanna lol. ((and I don't really hate fighting armours I love seeing armours in arena agianst me... it's basically a free win cause the AI is shit at using them properly.))
  16. Excuse me while I drown in nostalgia.

  17. On the first part is has, and it's celar that part is due to what people value ((Bulk over pure offense.)) So it's not worth continuing at this point anymore. Folks need to agree to disagree. ((like as much as I'm arguing with about things with you Sheep I don't think you're wrong... I just don't value bulk on Blade tomes at all. The more offense the more consistant they are. Further you're assuming Merric will be facing base kits which to be fair I was at times too but... SI really makes things way more hairy and player controlled units are always better than AI controlled. I'm sure you've fought plenty of Hectors in the arena by now and noticed... they are kinda garbage cause you can get around everything that makes Hector scary when a Player is using him cause the AI isn't smart enough to not fall for easy baits and traps.)) TBH... most units are pretty viable if you actually sink time into them. Like I'm honestly surprised how useful I've been able to make Oboro who before SI was considered one of the worst units in the game period. ((I had to killa Hector to do it ye... but I hate armours personally so... hate me all ya want :P)) And if I'm honest Merric's bulk might be more important on a team you don't need him to do the extra KOs Nino can get etc... It's give and take really. ((I should note though without Bulk being a consdieration... Nino can freely use LnD as can many other mages that don't care about it. Though... Linde for example is actually so low on Def she doesn't even use LnD, preferring just darting blow)) also, no offense meant by this @Commander but why do you keep calling it weary fighter? Unless Effie and Zephiel are just super tucjered out from having to take hits all day. ((tbh... it's a freaking great mental image and every time I see it makes me laugh so figured I'd say something XD>)) Also... I think you mean Blue Tomebreaker. Green Tomebreaker is attainable on Henry. ((though it's not particularly useful cept for like maybe on Julia so she can defeat other greens more easily due to her rather lacklustre speed stat.)) F!Robin has Blue TOmebreaker though which is still exclusive to GHBs. Also... can we talk about Zpehiel having Life and Death being the weirdest thing? It's actually completely awful on his kit cause it's actually... literally impossible for him to double anyone in the game but Sophia. So you lose a crapload of defense on him to get effectively 5 attack... so Deathblow is just flat better... It's WEIRD AND IT BUGS ME. It make for better fodder if it finished prior to 5* but... it don't. which is grrrr. Hopefully we get more sources of Iote's and Blue Tomebreaker, be nice to have more access to them out of limited sources. ((there will actually be another like this, which is the Shield Skill for Horses as only Camus will have itwhen he's released. That one isn't really that great though cause like... who runs Wolf tomes, unless they jsut haven't been able to SI stuff to that unit yet?)) Not really I know your not working on a load of units. GHB tend to need more speific things to take them down. Like Navarre's is super trivial so long as you have T!Adept MRobin. Ursula's can be beat just by having Hector... etc. There's a person who does Youtube videos using only 3 stars of the Hero Battle ((the ones that have that map rotation where they are free like Olivia etc.)) and other Grand Hero Battle units. I don't know how to find their channel though since they are from Japan so everything is in Japanese lol. But basically... I've seen many a Subaki facetank entire maps for days.
  18. That's the opposite of true tbh. I use Bladetomes plenty but also the highest stat they value is attack because it's needed to push through some off-colour matchups especially on Infantry mages who have the least access to buffs. It's why Cecilia is actually a better Gronnblade users than Merric cause she gets WAY more power out Cavalry buffs in the first place. Like Bladetomes are offensive tomes, and there's a reason Linde is the most powerful bladetome user in the game ((bar Ursula with Horse Buffs.)) her speed and Attack are both through the roof ((and well frankly blue is a better colour in the meta though green is becoming closer with the rise of the blues.)) honestly bulk is... pretty pointless on Bladetome users in ideal situations you'll never be hit and on iniatation you have desperation and they still can't answer back. It's also really easy with the less bulky ones to trigger their desperation state for free using Ardent Sac ((which can also give a nice spot of utility time to time.)) which Merric can't do. Gronnblade is better served on Nino where it starts off or on one of the other movement type mages ((Spring!Cam/Cecilia)) as they will just outperform Merric as his damage just won't be high enough. Like the point of Blade tome builds is to ORKO and you just need more speed and raw power than Merric has for that to happen. and I should point out Merric is beat pretty hard by most other mages which changes the thing Merric worries about from Archers/Ninjas to mages. Mages are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more common as of now and as the thing that will most commonly actually be hitting him that's a super bad weakness to have. Most builds of Merric are completely outclassed by all other options. There's very little reason to use him other than his Unique tome ((and effective versus flying is alright but it's not that insane.)) he's the lowest rated green mage in the game when considering SI, pretty much unanimously. Let's jsut say this. Odin naurally has Blarblade and his attack and Speed are pretty much exactly the same as Merric's while he has balanced bulk. He's consdiered one of the worst characters in the game despite having access to the most sought after tome and Moonbow one of the most sought after specials. If Blarblade cannot save Odin from being bad it won't save Merric. Merric main and probably only niche will be his effective damage against fliers. @Sheep, just to make sure you see it since I forgot it originally, the reason why you need raw attack is that Weapon Triangle is percent based, before defenses are subtracted. This makes -%s much more detrimental if you have a smaller base of attack. Also 35 is... sketchy at best for making sure you double. Nino with Darting Blow would double all of the unboosted meta ((other than +Spd Lon'qu)) without counting skills and has higher attack. Nino is probably the best infantry user of the gronnblade tome and I doubt that's going to change. @Fabled Asian If you have a way to deal with Archers Gronnblade 100%. Due to how high Cam's nat attack is, even if she has -atk there is only 7 units in the game she can't defeat on initiation with Hone Fliers, Fort FLiers and a Goad Fliers boost in addition to Darting Blow ((which you want for the extra speed.)) However due to the -spd you'll lose a lot of KOs. So I imagine in this case running Raven is better ((and it espically is if never planning to run her on a flier team. Thing is Spring Cam is mostly made for flying teams she doesn't make much sense off them due to how much raw power she loses.))
  19. I don't really agree that much it's pretty easy to not take them if using it in conjuction with armour support. ((Shoves and Smites can keep her out of range of any retaliation until she's needed and punt her in for the attack. Her main weakness is ranged but mages more than anything else. and with a Brave Weapon she's going to hit twice first and on how high her attack is it's going to knock out most before she ever gets answered in return.)) It's honestly not all that likely that she'll be in that bad a position imo. I know it's not ideal... but it also doesn't really impact her gameplan that much. Like if you want to replace Wary Fighter at all, ye it's hoooooorrible. ((Like it makes Quick Riposte just straight up not an option. I know some run it to have better Enemy phases.)) Just -4 def really doesn't runi her usabllity so much that's she's unusable by any stretch. ((by the way... I absolutely despise armours so much in Heroes.. I sacked my Hector to my Oboro. Like I legit dislike using armours, but I still know that they are good units and that in this case while it's definitely not an ideal bane to have, it's far from making Effie garbage or unusable. Like, there are some banes that jsut entirely ruin a units usefulness. This isn't a case where I think that's true personally.)) Also, as a note, I don't agree with you a lot Sheep, cause our priorities and playstyles are probably like suuuuuuuuuuuuuper different. But doesn't mean I don't value what you're saying etc as a note. ((tbh it's better people don't agree on things since everyone parroting the same thing tbh.))
  20. Not saying she can't but her stats are more skewed in the way of offense and the person was asking about a Brave Lance build on which Defense is pretty much irrelevant dude.
  21. Except... she doesn't get doubled unless taken below half so... she won't? Like unless you leave her in range of more than one thing it's pretty much impossible to oneshot her. calcs for her against all base kits. There's... really not much a difference. All that chnages from having - Defense is you lose one more on defense. ((which is base Narcian)) and on Offense... it actually really functionally changes nothing what bane you have. On top of this, Greens ((which aren't as good as fighting her as you think)) and archers can be handled by your other team members by either taking them out themselves or by using Shove/Smite to puch Effie into range of them. Like... you have three other team members. You have plenty of room to use other units to check any weakness Effie has. ((cause when you're in control of your unit you'll do a lot better than the AI with her. Armours are super duper extreme garbage in the hands of the AI.))
  22. I'll be honest -Def really isn't as bad as Sheep is making it out to be. Effie has Wary Fighter she's only going to get hit once by a majority of things and 29 still isn't that awful. I've said it plenty Effie... isn't a wall. -defense ain't that big a deal. ((and there's plenty of 5*'s with lower defense naturally, not even as a bane that are used as well...hell some of them are the best units in the game currently.)) Like her just being +atk is pretty much merit to use her regardless. Ideally you want -speed but a - to any of her stats that aren't attack really aren't that big a detriment. On offense with Brave Lance... she'll probably almost never take counter damage. If she can be hit by multiple things on enemy phase... there's bigger issues than a defense bane.
  23. considering Navarre is garbage... yes actually. I'll note though Ursula is only really all that worth investing in for cav teams unless you just have 0 options otherwise. She's a bit under stated unless she's getting Cav buffs ((which in conjunction with Blarblade+ are sorta kinda a little disgusting.)) like with Just Blarblade and Hone Cavalry alone she becomes a hell of a lot better.
  24. They don't fear the Green at all really if you have a dancer since you just hit and then leave his range. ((and you still deal like... a lot of damage.)) I used my Linde, and neither of the mages could really do any damage to her and got destroyed by her counterattacks. and she killed all three armours with dances until down to the Axe Knight who I had to kite a bit more ((but still ultimately was in 0 danger of him doing anything.)) I imagine any blue mage would do similarly cause those mages have... rather low attack. Like Linde is squishie as hell and she wasn't taking much of anything. MRobin has to probably be a little wary of being doubled by the mages I think, but he at least isn't weak to either's colour. He'll probably be fine most likely. Spring!Lucina... pretty much the same as Linde. Rein and Olwen, pretty sure it's obvious they will wreck this map as the two of them can double through Wary Fighter making the knights even more worthless. They probably destroy both of the mages as well.
  25. You literally need any Blue Mage in the game and a dancer ((and Olivia has been free forever so you 100% should by now.)) and the entire map is invalidated. If you got Ursula and leveled her any you should 100% beat this GHB as it's probably the easiest one yet.
