    The OOC/Sign Ups will hopefully be up tomorrow sometime, I would appreciate if a mod would lock this thread for me once the OOC is up, want to avoid confusion then. It is fine too leave it up until the OOC pops up, since it will give more people a chance to vote or notice it. Thank you for your time whoever sees this.

    Might I join further down the Line? I want to get Graterras up and running a bit before I join, so it may be awhile, don't reserve a spot for me or anything though, it might be a little while.

    Yea Murdoc that is the particular reason you never see any of my Characters lol, my drawing skills are just horrible. And I am thinking signing up, it is just the level thing I am not really wanting to deal with (I understand why it is there, but it is something I need to keep track of lol).

    Without getting too far into my system I cooked up, basically normal magic is just easily formable and can take many forms, there will be things called Iconic Spells however, these are more powerful, but have specific effects. Sorcerer's also will not have specializations. It is up to you to decide if you want to do that or not. The reason Wizard's and Mages(is a Wizard who is a generalist, they can learn all types of magics, but they are much weaker than a Specialist of that field.) need specializations is because they learn their art as if it was a science, and mostly treat it as such. Sorcerer's are not required too specialize in a type of magic, but they can if you so desire. This is because all magic is natural to them, they can shape magical energies ever since they were children. (Basically this are flavours of the same class, while Wizard's have to Learn their magic and highly specialize, they have easier access through their guilds to Iconic Spells. Sorcerer's have the same power a WIzard [so they aren't penalized for being able to use all magics like a Mage is], but because it is a Natural thing, they don't have guilds, making you have to research your own Iconic Spells {and yes that will be part of the roleplaying}.)

    Welp, looks like I may need to make a Judgement call on the Experience one I prefer the Second option personally, but I will give it other day yet and we will see where it goes from there.

    Magic will be a little more in-depth than the other classes. Not that it is better or anything, just a complicated art, deserves a bit more attention to it's finer details, also need to explain that there are Wizards and Sorcerers in this world. Main differences being Wizards Learn spellcasting and Magic, and treat more as a science, where as Sorcerers can naturally cast spells by instinct, and prefer to call it an Art. (THey don't get along at all.) Also Wizard's are tied to their Guilds in some ways (though I will explain this more in detail when I put up the OOC). Otherwise Classwise, pretty much everything that is the standard will be there, as well as any race can be any class (Though if a Dwarf would pick Wizard he would be highly ridiculed by his Brethren for the most part.) Sorcerer is the only I think will be restricted in anyway, since Dwarves and Gnomes cannot have Natural magic due to their slight tolerance to it. (they resist it a little bit, it isn't like a big resistance so don't worry about it being game breaking. It won't really effect gameplay too much.)

    Pretty sure Shuckle still has the highest possible damage at like 4.9 mil approximately, though that requires so much set up it isn't even possible to do it. oh and with Pure Power Blaze would at least lose the Speed Boost, Blaziken is pretty slow without it so it would be pretty easy to outspeed.

    Don't mind me lol, I for some reason spell everything Phonetically, if it weren't for spell check people would probably think I am an Idiot lol. (That is even when it is spelled correctly right in front of my face too lol.)

    I would honestly prefer Dark fantasy, just so that my RP is quite a bit different to Flux's Aervana, just in that it doesn't have to similar a feel. and in response to your question 2 concerns, Like it won't be like hella dark if that is what I end up going with, so if you are really worried about that Biberal, don't worry about it too much. But otherwise I understand, and I at least hope you read along if you won't be rping with us.

    It won't be 100% Dungeons and Dragons, it is just an easy comparison lol, so there isn't too much need to look it up. I guess it may be good to find out what Illithids are since that is where I got them from, though they are quite different in my world. (Basically they are not crazy cultists that want to kill everything in this world, though by most they would still be looked at as monsters.)

    Graterras is a world I have been working on for about 3 years now, and was originally written with Dungeons and Dragons in mind, but I want to try my hand at changing it into a forum RP. I have a few questions I wanted to get answered before I posted the main OOC/Sign-ups Thread, since that will take a lot of work due to how in depth my world is (mostly the magic has a multitude of forms that I want to represent so not every Mage feels the same). and I want to see if there is any interest in the first place. I would like to hear from you all before I post the main thread, please post your reasonings for any of the poll questions below, and feel free to ask me any questions.

    DOn't do anything drastic until Murdoc weighs in. I don't know if he wants people starting with Pokes or not was the only reason I brought it up, I personally don't have a problem with only 2, but Murdoc has final say, so I don't want to give the full go ahead, I hope you understand that lol.

    Part in bold is what I see as a problem. Your character doesn't need a Mental Disorder or an Emotional one to be interesting. Instability is not something we want in an rp. The other people participating need to have a basic understanding of how your character will react to situations otherwise it will just be really confusing for us and we will have no idea of what will happen. Also this characters tend to be weak in general relying on said thing to be interesting, which means their unpredictably is the only thing going for them. This quickly gets frustrating for others in the rp, and gets boring quickly for the player using that character. Background-wise, nobody else in the rp started with a Pokemon. I am not saying you can't start with any, just don't start with a whole team, it would kind of ruin some of the point of this rp as people don't have many pokemon, if any in this world, and you wouldn't be able to pick up any of the PC (Player Character, in case you don't know, I don't know your Rping experience) pokemon throughout the story. However, I am going to wait and see what Murdoc has to say, as this rp is his and I am just one of the mods.

    Olrien threw him a bottle from his bags. He went around handing to others to everyone in the group. "Everyone drink up, I say this calls for a celebration. Though after this I will definitely need to brew some more, I didn't have a lot made." Olrien said with a big grin on his face. He finished passing out the bottles he grabbed his own flask on his hip. "Time for the toast my friends!" He raised his Flask over his head "To friends, to family, to life, may we triumph once more on the field of battle so we may continue our valiant Quest!"

"Either way me and Lady Nivia here are traveling to uncover my past and get her back to her home. " Theo popped open the Brass Pocketwatch and showed it to the Cyndaquil. "This is all I have left and all I know of my prior life. My name is Theodore, but you call me Theo for short. Now if you don't mind me asking young one, what is your name?" he asked as he extended a small paw towards the Cyndaquil.

    Hey like 200 years is enough time to pick up a few extra things along with Sword Fighting and Magic lol. That and he traveled alot after his training since in my canon of how Wind Knights work they are a sort of Vagabond Knights, don't really have 1 place they call home. It is feasible he picked up many skills in his travels, that just happens to be 1, I thought would be interesting to have lol.

    If you ever feel like joining feel free, remember being a trainer you can just put up a bio and we can get you rping, if you want to be a mon you need to follow the rules we got for it (it allows us to get a bit of diversity, without being too harsh lol). Even if you don't join up feel free to read along with the story and just enjoy what the rpers create. It is free form so it isn't going to be very Linear, just a heads up.
