Yea not sure why we need to resort to namecalling. if your opinion differs good, that is what fuels discussion, and discussion is the point of the thread. However, all meaningful discussion stops when the name calling starts. Everybody has good points, so don't just shoot each other down. Like I agree with things everybody is saying which is why I dropped out of the convo cause I felt I didn't really have more to add to the Genesect convo since we have gotten out all the points I can think of.

Imma say this many people feel this way, I don't mind if it gets banned, but mostly since I don't use him so it doesn't effect me much. So I am going to be done with this for now, unless you guys pull me in again somehow.
-
I guess that is true, but you can usually figure out it's set by one move or how it switches etc, why I really don't have problem with it. (though I am just good at connecting dots backwards through.) I think it is just a case of trying to keep everything straight in your head. But eh, I dunno.

I am just not sure. Because I feel Rotom-W is much more frustrating to play against then Genesect imo. It has 1 weaknesses as well, but it is only x2. It has better Bulk and has nearly the same speed and is close to it in power. It may not have as many options, but you still have to figure out if it is running Scarf, Specs, or running the odd rest/lum set. (I have seen it quite a bit.). Maybe that is just me I have never really had problems with Genesect, and I am new to battling. That is my 2 cents about it. I don't think Genesect is broken, but I don't really know why others do, would like to hear their side if anybody is willing to go in-depth.

I kinda want Hero to post about Genesect as why not to ban him. My thought is that he over-centralizes the Meta-Game forcing players to bring something to deal with him, the same with the Kicking Chicken. (I also believe this about Rotom-W, as his mere existence forces you to bring a grass move or you won't be having fun.) Other notes, I believe the ones moved down are fine, none of them are extremely crazy powerful, like Manaphy and Zygarde require set-up to be the most effective, and both can be outplayed. Kyurem-B to be fair I don't know a lot about. I try not use Legends as much as possible because it feels a little cheap to me, however I do get some that are a bit "weaker" don't really break the meta. But I really have no Frame on which I can Judge him, so I am going to leave him out of my discussion for now. I may not be the best player myself, but I can understand the meta, and whythings are really good and why are others are sorta meh. I am just a bit green, when it comes to playing myself. (( Also that emote is so bloody annoying lol. Makes me look like I am joking around when I am not. I can't really word that sentence any other way as well))

Clang! Metal rang out in the cloud of sand as Olrien blocked a blow from his unseen attacker. He traced the winds and delivered a deft strike to the beast's pincer, right where the 2 pieces connect, severing it claw in 2. 2 more Scraeths threw blind blows in his direction, he narrowly avoided the first, but the second landed on his chest. Causing minor bleeding. Olrien Jumped off his current target, and took a slash at the other 2. He diced the legs of the one on the left, leaving it unable to move, though it still thrashed and clawed at the air with it's nasty pincers. The right one he accelrated his blade using the wind, he cut into its forehead, felling it in 1 strike. The immobile one however scored a lucky blow. Hitting Olrien as he came back down. it hit him in the side with the flat of it claw, however the force knocked the wind out of Olrien. He lay on the ground while the fist Scraeth scuttled up to him. It raised it's claw high above its head. It was going for a killing blow. -

As soon as Gillem asked, Olrien eyes opened. He yelled something in Elvish at the top of his Lungs. It would have roughly translated to Wind Dragon's Fury. The cyclone on the Sword all of a sudden grew twice in size. Olrien swung his blade directly down, the cyclone loosing itself and becoming even bigger, and raged towards the mass of Scraeth. Olrien ran after it his sword by his side he meant to clash with the enemies as it impacted. He used the very winds to increase his own speed, running faster than normally possible. The cyclone landed and a huge amount of sand was kicked into the air. It sent the Scraeth flying in all directions. A haze of sand hung in the air. Olrien stood over the bodies of 2 dead Scraeth he had killed on impact. Lucky for him, the winds still blew, he would be able to "see" through the haze. He felt their forms by blowing the winds, his Sword was at the ready knowing he would be attacked at any moment. -

Flux, my Little guy isn't going to be caught right away either, maybe yours bumps into him or something. Theo's lair hasn't really ever been found before, so it would be something he wouldn't know how to deal with. He also has a huge bounty of food in there, so pokes would probably be able to smell it. (oh and the Sudowoodo doesn't really know where he lives, he would have stopped before his lair and took the water the rest of the way himself). -
The Sceptile dodged as many Crush Claws as it could, it went down but not before a Seed Flare was fired in it's direction from the Shaymin. The Virizion also shot a magical Leaf, causing both the Sceptile and Zangoose to go down at the same time. Now the Virizion and Shaymin started to turn their attention to the rest of the team.

Raindrop Valkyrie replied to Chevaleresse's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Oh by the way, V-Create can't actually roll off Metronome just so you know, it and other signature moves are removed from the list of possible attacks when it rolls. (Forget all of them of the top of my head, but that is one of them lol.) (This is in the games however, so using the knowledge from in the games themselves lol. It may be different in 6th Gen since we don't know the mechanics of it in the current gen yet however lol.)- 603 replies

Spectile's eyes glowed blue as he dodged the last blow by moving his head out of the way. His arms still stuck, the Sceptile quickly went for a Leaf Blade without thinking or waiting for his trainer's command. The Blades on his arms Grew longer as he struggled to pull them back, but he managed and broke free from the grasp of the Zangoose. As soon as this happened however a loud bang sounded. and all of a sudden all the cages of light surrounding the others disappeared. Gardenia was angered, now all the Trainers could fight her at the same time. " She walked up and grabbed 2 more pokeballs, these ones however being masters balls. "Come out Shaymin, and Virizion, we have work to do."

For whoever it was that asked Asperger's is a type of Autism. However it is a High Functioning Autism. It mostly has to do with Social Problems (quite a bit of possiblities there, so there is no real Definitive symptoms). What this means is that unlike other forms of Autism, they are completely able to take care of themselves, and are very intelligent, however they tend to not be the best with societal things, or people. One thing that is typical (though not all of them are this way.) is that if they don't understand something significance (socially usually) they think it is stupid or pointless. My Little Brother most likely has it, so I know a bit about it. (Don't quote me 100% please, I made a few generalizations, and stuff to make it a bit easier to understand, since there really is no 100% list of things that are Asperger's.)

Theo had returned his berries to his home. But now he had to go back out for water, he was sure there was a river around here somewhere. He began wondering in the woods in search of the river. He heard a strange ruffling in the trees however, he thought it was nothing at first so he kept going, but it kept happening. He didn't see what it was until he got close to the water's edge from what he remembered. The Creature Following him tripped on a tree root, really ironic considering what it was. A Sudowoodo, lay sprawled on the ground rubbing its head. "Well guess my cover is blown" He said in a rather high squeaky voice. "Sorry, for following you sir, I was just starving and I smelled Berries on you." Theo put his little paw to his head. "It is fine, if you wanted food you could have asked. I just got plenty from the bushes down a ways. THey are a bit scarce these days. I mostly only took the Figy and Razz berries though." He held out some of the berries he took with him, it was a small number, mostly Oran Berries. The Sudowoodo quickly grabbed them and devoured them whole. "Ah, that hit the spot, has been weeks since I least ate. At least it felt that way. So what are you doing here, you strange little mon? I have never really seen one of you before." "I am a Pancham, and I was getting water to take back to my home." He said holding out a small red bucket. "Want any help? I mean you scratched me back might as well scratch yours a bit." The SudoWoodo said abruptly. "Sure take one of the pails, but you can't stay once we are done." Theo said with a bit of a scowl. Sudowoodo saluted, "Yes sir!" They arrived back with all of the pails of water and the Sudowoodo set out. "He was strange" Theo thought to himself. " Hope he doesn't show up again, I am not used to dealing with people or Pokemon for that matter."

What are they being used for first lol. Are they just Playthrough mons or are they being used in Competitive battling lol? (I am just asking because it changes how in depth I need to go, unless it is for reborn, since the game is insane.)

oh and I know about the speed hindering natures lol. I just wasn't origanlly going for a Trick room Team. It was kinda a last minute thought, so I didn't exactly change everything yet lol. I might run it a few times when I get the time see how it works before I just sack Reuni though lol. (Also what would the best EV spread be for the Exeggutor? I am actually thinking about using him now that you mentioned him lol.)

Hello everybody, and welcome to my first Reborn Team RMT (and first RMT for that matter.) I am not the best at creating teams so all the advice I can get is very useful to me. I try not to think to hard when I make a team (otherwise it will never get done). So I appreciate any advice you guys have for me. At A Glance Tried to have a bit of Flexibility, with some bulk and heavy hitters. Greninja and Talon are quick and can get off some heavy hits quick. While the others are bulky and slower, good for trick room. Talon still works under the trick room due to priority, so only really Greninja is crippled by it. Most of the items and stuff are placeholders, I will probably change those alot depending on the leader I am facing. Arthur, King of Old. @ Leftovers Trait: Stance Change EVs: 252 HP / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Shadow Ball - Flash Cannon - King's Shield - Shadow Sneak Aegislash is a very flexible mon, can be very bulky one turn and then deal crap loads f damage the next. I decided to go for a Special attacking set since it was more suited to the amount of Physical attackers I already had. Shadow Ball and Flash Cannon can deal high damage to a single target. Shadow Sneak is for Stab Priority, and gives Aegi a way to outspeed when not under Trick Room. It is also still good under Trick Room as well. Shiraha, Shadow of the Night @ Life Orb Trait: Protean EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Surf - Blizzard - Dark Pulse - Mat Block Greninja is a fast and pretty hard hitter thanks to his ability Protean giving him stab on all his moves. Surf can deal damage to all opponents and isn't a bad water move since it has more accuracy than Hydro Pump, though it doesn't have the stopping power Hydro pump does. Blizzard also hits multiple targets, and is a very powerful move, though it is very unrelible due to it's accuracy. Dark Pulse is for some coverage on Ghost and Psychic types. Mat Block is here for the same purpose as wide Guard on Aegislash. I am not sure how well it will fair so I may remove it. (It also doesn't have much use in a single battle other than scouting a move.) Pyron, The Unstable Fireball @ Life Orb Trait: Gale Wings EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Brave Bird - Flare Blitz - Roost - U-Turn Talonflame is also another fast Pokemon to add some speed into my team. He can still function under Trick Room due to his priority moves. Brave Bird for Stab Priority, Flare Blitz for coverage, Roost I am still not sure about, but it can be used to recover health, and U-Turn for Momentum. Gawain, Slayer of Dragons @ Focus Sash Trait: Thick Fat EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Earthquake - Icicle Crash - Ice Shard - Stealth Rock Mamoswine is mostly for Dragon Coverage, and might be for Rock Set-up as well. EQ is for Stab hits. Ice Shard is for priority especially against Dragons. Icicle Crash hits Dragons that aren't 4x times weak harder than Ice shard, possibly killing. Stealth Rock gets switch in damage, and breaks Focus Sashs and Sturdy making it easier to dispose of those mons. Bozo, Clown Extraordinaire. @ Flame Orb Trait: Guts EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Drain Punch - Mach Punch - Rock Slide - Thunderpunch Conkeldurr, is a very bulky Fighting type and is very Flexible, Guts allows him to take a status move and shrug it off, as well as make it easier to play around status, but he can also make use of Iron Fist, to power up his Punches. Drain Punch is for a more powerful Fighting move, and also making it harder to kill him. Mach Punch is for priority, Rock slide is for AoE in Triples and Doubles, and also provides coverage. Thunderpunch is to give a bit more coverage as well. Merlin, Master of Magics. @ Sitrus Berry Trait: Harvest EVs: 252 HP / 252 SAtk /4 SDef Sassy Nature (+SDef, -Spd) - Trick Room - Giga Drain - Psyshock - Sludge Bomb Trick Room Setter. Stab + Healing with Giga Drain Harvester combo. Psyshock for alternate Stab, and Sludge Bomb for Fairy killing and against other Grass types. Thank you for reading, and I hope I can get some feedback from you guys (will try to keep this updated with any changes I make to the team.) (Also anywhere to find 6th gen sprites etc? I just noticed they were broken) EDITS: 1: Changed Rock Slide on Mamoswine to Stealth Rock, also changed EQ on Conkeldurr to Thunderpunch. High possibility of Switching Reuniclus to Execuggtor as of a suggestion same with replacing WIde guard on Aegislash with Shadow Sneak. 2: Switched Trick Room User to Exeggcutor for the Grass stab, and some much needed Fairy Coverage.

As Theo was out searching for some berries, he heard a ruckus in the distance. He however had no idea what it it was. Lucky for him it sounded pretty far away. He continued to pick the various berries on the bushes. Especially the Razz Berries and Figy Berries. They were his favourite both having a Spicy taste to them. He gathered quite a bit putting them in a small picnic basket he found. He wondered what the sounds in the forest were. However, he decided it was something he probably didn't want to be a part of, so he wandered back to his little makeshift home.

A small harsh ringing noise sounded. Theodore punched the small alarm clock that was sitting next to his bedding on an endtable made of an old laundry basket. Theo was a human before the calamity, however he didn't know how he ended up in his current state, he didn't really remember much about being a human either. All he knew was now he was a Pancham, and his own name Theodore, which was inscribed within a Brass Pocketwatch he wore around his neck. Theo also had a knack for finding relics of the past. Furniture, Clocks (especially clocks), and other assorted things. He used them to spruce up a small cave he found out in the wilderness. Not only that but he fancied himself a bit of a Curator. He would keep relics to preserve what once was. However, Theo went to check a small cupboard he managed to drag back here. He usually stored berries and other foodstuffs in here. Unfortunately, this day it was empty. His little tummy growled. "Well I must simply find some food" He thought to himself.
