I am typically a 2nd Edition guy, but I prefer 3.5 for getting players into the game. I also know how to handle Min/Maxers so they never really get far. Bards only actually suck in 2nd edition because they arn't a real class and are too jack of all trades. They a bit better in 3rd and in 4th. Just a tidbit for you though in closing. Drows were actually first created in the Forgotten Realms preset world, which is not only the the most popular D and D setting, it is also what the Neverwinter Knights and a lot of other media is based on lol. (thing he is getting at, is the Drow society is a lot like aquiecence's world in the rp lol. though the men are treated even worse and aren't really even tolerated lol.) (Hmm...now is not the time to say I played a Dwarf hunter in WoW is it lol?)

Thing is.....I have wanted to make a similar character for a while lol. I don't want to deal with Fairy characters though, their rules are over-complicated and there are a bajillion different kinds. (Some can kill you if you look at them lol.).(only thing is, that particular campaign already has a bard, and while I don't like to say sombody can't play something, I highly advise not stacking classes as it usually just gets the party killed lol.)

It is, but it is worth it lol. It is hard to explain to somebody who has never done it before. But trust me it is lol. It is mostly bad for me because I like to get detail in so I take a lot longer than most DMs. There are pre-sets and premade universes for those that aren't as bat shit crazy as me lol. Maybe I will run a separate campaign for the community here if they are interested, but I got to get my first campaign up and running first lol.

It is different for the players of the game, and for the dm or the game master. For player's it is very organic, it is like learning about a person in real life with the npcs. It can very between player characters, I urge people to not divulge their back stories to other players in the game other than the dm, because it loses a bit of it's magic when they do that. DMs have a much different task though. Not only must we make believable npcs within our world's lore, we must also make an over-arching story. As the player's do things in our world not only can they change the goings on, but they grow within their own ways. While this is happening the rest of the world also moves, NPC they have never met are still going about their lives. A good Dm also does not shove their players into a storyline, the player's choose what they do. You planned a dungeon for the hero's to adventure in for 5 hours? all I can really do is drop hints or try to interest them in it. But I can't force them to do it. It wouldn't be as fun for the player's if they didn't control, or fell like they have some control over the story themselves. I have have worked on a DandD world for about 2 years now lol, and I am not near finished. I have created my own Pantheon of gods, and how they relate to the world, their creation myths and lore. I have designed the continents and tried to think of proper geographical locations and weather for them. I would be willing to allow people to join up in a Dungeon and Dragons campaign I am running if they are interested. Me and my friends were going to set one up, where I would be DMing. We have yet to start if anybody is interested just tell me here, or pm me to keep the clutter down. It is 3.5 Edition. I am a bit of an eccentric so I do allow people to play other more off humanoid races, like Kobold's or Lizardmen, but I recommend playing a standard race for your first in my world especially if it your first time playing D and D to begin with.

I really hope you do show back up, I was planning on using your character to divulge a lot of Lupus's backstory since she wanted to talk to him. I can figure out another way to do it though, so don't feel pressured lol. i really want to get Lupus's backstory out there a bit more (a bit of it was just revealed in the mission topic, but I wasn't going to divulge it all right away lol.) Problem I have personally is that I am too used to Dungeons and Dragon style roleplaying lol, and story writing for that matter lol. So this rp is really new to me, has been fun so far, and I am really wondering where it will go.

Lupus was surrounded by darkness, he had no idea where he was. In the darkness he saw a flash he saw his older sister, Isabella. She was was yelling at him, a younger Lupus that also stood before him. He realized he was having a nightmare about that fated day.... But there was nothing he could do to stop it. "It's your fault she is dead!" yelled Isabella at the Younger Lupus. "I did my best to save her!" the Younger Lupus said tears streaming down his face. "You should have never gone to the Power Plant, if you didn't go she wouldn't have followed you there!" Isabella screamed at the Young man's face, unrelenting, insisting it was his fault. "I did everything I could...." he said afterwhile. A mask of hatred appeared over Isabella's face. "You didn't try hard enough. It will always be your fault that you weren't good enough to save her." Afterwards, she ran out tears streaming down her face, almost as fast as the younger Lupus. The scene before him disappeared. It was as dark as it was before. But now Lupus heard at first he heard a faint whisper. It grew Louder and Louder, He heard his sister's voice keep chanting "It will always be your fault." He screamed out in agony "I didn't know what to do!" All of sudden there was a sharp pain in his back. Lupus awoke on the ground looking up at Aeon. He was wondering where the hell he was. He stood up and dusted himself off. "What Happened while I was out?" asked Lupus to the man in red.

What is funny to me, squad 2 has the killer in it, and we have currently killed 0 people. Both the other squads are on a rampage lol. (and with the confusion thing, we are supposed to be putting our squads at the top of the post, but only really me and I think Jory are doing it lol. The squads are written at the beginning of the first mission post though lol.

"Aeon, I don't think Josh's Venusaur will stand much of a chance against her, not to underestimate Bruiser or anything, but I have that feeling." Said Lupus with a hint of doubt in his voice, "Maybe it is best if me and Lobo try and do this, we are the only ones who have a slight advantage against Ghosts I fear." "However, we can't rush in blind no matter what we do, tell everything you know about her Aeon, then we will decide what to once everybody is on the same page." Lobo's ball flashed from it's normal blue color to a white. "Lobo is ready to go at least. He ball glows white hot when he is in the mood for battle."

Absol, who can't just post into the IC thread, we are in the middle of the first mission and your character has not been approved or added to the rp. you are going to need to remove your posts. (I am not being a jerk, but until we finish the first mission, no characters can join the rp. it is stated in the rules here on OOC (first post on the first page). It would do you some good to read them if you are planning on joining later down the line.)

Gothdevoir is a lot nicer looking imo, not to mention super sweet lol. Maybe I should learn so spriting so I can jump in and see what I could do lol.

So many good looking Garchomps lol. I also rather like the Persian, but I kinda don't want every single Shiny to black lol, want there to be at least a variety of colours so it doesn't get to samey. I wish I knew how to do Spriteing so I didn't have to just explain what I wanted to see lol.

Yea literally only the steel weakness makes sense with the fairy type (as I mentioned before, being thier true mythological weakness, t least in European and Western myth, though this might just be a coincidence, Since it is made by a Japanese company. )

I though Assault Vest prevent use of anything other than attack moves though? I you can trick that, it would be really good though, like stupid good, it would ruin a lot of stuffs recovery and would like entirely break Wall sets for the part (which is why I have a hard time seeing you being able to trick it)

Well yea lol. He is most likely going to be an NU/RU Spinner, as he has only one resist which is Ice. Everything else is either super-effective or hits for regular damage, which is not cool for a wall. He might have been slightly more useful if He actually got Ice Shard (slightly, mean it wouldn't make him OU material like at all, or maybe it could you never know (I highly doubt it though))

Both of those are really cool. Trying to think of more pokes that need a nice Shiny lol. (Farfetch'd does, but I am the only person on Earth that likes that guy......)

I don't think Steel would normally resist energies (since fire is super-effective and electric is normally effective). Since Ghost is super-Natural energy and Dark is Negative Energy. at least in my mind anyway

Not sure if this was mentioned yet, but I think Fairy is weak to steel for this reason. Not sure which part of mythology this comes from (I think it is Arthurian legend though). The Fae creatures or most of Fairy kind that I know of have a weakness to "Cold Iron". Not sure if it is actually steel or not, but it is at least similar, as for the other Fairy weaknesses, I have no clue. Some other theories I have, Ghost, Bug and Dark are all three really common phobias or Fears, so probably why they are good on Psychic. Ghost might be immune to Normal and Fighting since it doesn't have a corporeal body, (in most cases). and they are the most phyical type of move (literally most are direct attacks) Ghosts also usually can't directly manipulate physical objects in most cases (due to afore mentioned not having a real body) so that may be why it doesn't effect normal types. Will add more as I think of them lol.
