"It's... I can't really start at the event I need to move back a bit in time. So you'll have to bear with me. " Rayne kept sewing as she was speaking it wasn't actually difficult. She did it with clients quite often. Her mother always said that one should entertain their clients, talk to them, treat them like an old friend. Well, provided they were a good client. It was all the easier when they were or became good friends. It made the work all that more bearable, more enjoyable. It was more than just a job, a task. Her mother was a strange woman. But, a smart one. There was a reason people had such high opinions of the Marigold guild. They always went out of their way for quality clientele. They went the distance for everyone no matter the money they had. The Marigolds were successful despite Lily's instance on doing things her way. Honestly... her mother had been the best thing for the guild ever since it was founded. Her mother wanted her to be the heir... but Rayne just never felt it was her calling. " I ran away from home when I was younger not 2 years ago. It wasn't because I didn't like it there, or some disagreement with my family. Honestly... I loved it. I loved being at home. My mother, she always had high hopes for me. She always wanted me to one day succeed her in the family business. She wanted me to take over the Marigold guild. But, I always felt I had a different calling in life. Perhaps... because I wa... am naive. But, I always believed I was supposed to be a royal pegasus knight~ " She said with a somewhat pained smile. She missed her family... she missed all of her sisters. Talking about it was only making it hurt more. How long she'd been away. 2 years. it'd been too years since she saw any of them... Rikken... the triplets... everyone...it'd been too long. She pushed through it though. " So... I left in the middle of the night and set out towards the capital of Versida... Ventra. I knew it was where the Pegasus Knights where based. So, i traveled there on foot all by myself... at your age actually. I only new how to sow, it was the only thing I had ever done. But, I was determined to make it. Luckily... I look a lot like my mother, and the people where very familiar with my family and the things they'd done for a lot of the locals, so I got help along the way. Food, supplies... a few wagon rides to a nearby town. Little things. it wasn't until I was nearing Ventra that anything bad happened. " She paused for a moment, taking a deep breath. She fidgeted with the fabric in her hands a bit. But, she pressed on. "There was a forest I had to go through... the path cut through but it was heavy so it was all sorta of dark. The light barely poked through the leaves. The perfect place for bandits and highwaymen. Of course, they couldn't pass up the opportunity of a unarmed girl all by her own. Further they probably recognized me. I... don't know what they'd have done but I don't really like to think about it. Luckily for me though, one of them stepped on a branch on their approach so I heard them coming. I looked in their direction and saw them through the trees. I... ran. I just ran and ran. I didn't look back. The darkness however caused me to get lost and I took a turn into the woods. But, I kept running cause I could hear them behind me still. I kept hearing their footfalls rustling the leaves and spitting up dirt. And... I tripped. My foot got caught in a gnarled root and I found myself tumbling to the ground. I knew my ankle was twisted. I knew it was the end of the road. I jsut... I just... curled up into a ball. I thought everything was over... I thought they'd catch me. I felt it grow darker and I thought it was them. But it wasn't. In my panic I hadn't noticed another sound approaching. The sound of hooves. The next thing I heard was pained groans as hooves struck armour and metal. A few curses. The crunch of bone. It's all vivid in my mind. I saw standing over me, a great white horse. He was striking out with his hooves and wings and everything he could to keep them away from me. He hit one sqaure in the jaw sending him to the ground. He landed with a wet and dull thud. The rest took turns chopping at him. red was running down I could see it dripping from his wings. The pegasus was losing. Or at least I thought he was. But, he snorted angrily and charged them two men still standing. He bowled them over in his mad dash and sent them to the ground. He looked back to me when he turned. I swore he smiled with those eyes of his. Those misty yellow eyes. They got back up to their feet but he assailed them further with his hooves, keeping them at bay. it took awhile of struggle but... eventually wings could be heard. The two bandits took it as their cue to run, even leaving their companion behind. Beau had fought them off successfully. I was lucky. Apparently... Beau had run away from his handlers that day, and happened to run into me. But, instead of flee... he saved me. No one knows why to this day."

"I'm not going to lie and say it's not been somewhat pesky. However it nothing I haven't dealt with before. I've had to take measurements for children before. They... never stop squirming around. So, this isn't that bothersome. Besides, some people just aren't fond of contact. I figured you weren't by how much you're been jumping as I've touched you. Why I had you hold the tape. Well, that and it's actually pretty hard for me to take the measurement down if I've got a handful of your chest." she laughed a little to try and lighten the mood but she doubted it work that well. She just wanted to make sure Cadence was comfortable in this space. She was going to try everything she could to make sure she was. "I do wish you'd be more comfortable around me, but I know it's not exactly something you can help, so don't worry about it." Rayne packed up her measuring tape and looked over the numbers once again. she subtracted in her head the width of Cadence's clothes from her estimation and wrote down the new numbers. It was pretty quick process from one Cadence had only ever seen be lethargic and have her head in the clouds. She was working now, doing something she enjoyed. The focus had been brought out of her. She sat down and started on her work. However, she felt... something nagging at her. She didn't really turn to face Cadence, but she went to add something she felt was left unsaid. "Beau... is a good pegasus though. I think he's had a rough life, he was rescued by the pegasus knights and brought back to health. Poachers. But, he never really trusted people quite the same after. Before I came along my mentor told me Beau was unruly and wouldn't listen to any of the handlers. They didn't want to give upon him since he'd been through so much... but they couldn't get anywhere with his training. But... Beau saved me. Despite having no training and being an unruly wild animal as the trainers believed him to be... he saved my life."
-
"Hmmm, you don't really like being touched do you? I apologize. It's part of the work. I hope it's not making you too uncomfortable though." Rayne noticed it much earlier than now but it was clearest now that Cadence wasn't much a fan. Rayne understood. Some weren't exactly fans of people in their personal space that much. It was a certain kind of... intimate? that not all were comfortable with. One had to trust someone quite a lot. They were vulnerable. Some rather didn't like the feeling. Rayne knew it usually came from bad experiences though... she wasn't sure as to the nature of what had happened to Cadence... or if it was in fact preference but either way she wasn't going to pry. It'd only do the opposite of what she wanted to do. So, Rayne thought to herself. She figured she would have to do soemthing to relieve the sort of tension to some degree though she was having a bit of trouble thinking of anything to talk about. Like... she didn't really know where to begin. So she just defaulted to something. "Beau doesn't really like being touched by people other than me. I never really understood why he's so... I dunno, towards people. He's only really ever taken a liking to me. He'd do more than just bite at ya if you tried to pet him. He'd probably kick you straight in the pelvis. I dunno... he doesn't mean any ill will... he never goes out of his way to hurt people. " she was still finishing up on the measurement pulling it forward to meet where Cadence was holding it. She touched the two points together placing her thumb where they aligned. "...oh and you can let go now."
-
Rayne started rather quickly. She had Cadence remove her jacket to get more accurate measurements. The garment itself was much too unwieldy to do with it on. She pinched the fabric of her outerwear in a few place to figure it's approximate width so that she could subtract that from the actual measurements. She pulled out a tape measure, just a simple piece o a durable material marked with small hashes. Rayne's was rather simplistic, having only the 5's measured out and not every single hash to save room and allow the tape to be smaller. Perfect for traveling. Rayne's moved were carefully calculated and clearly something she had much practice with. This was the first time Cade ever saw Rayne so focused on the task she was doing. She quickly noted down numbers on a small pad of papers labeling them with a few letters. Cadence definitely felt her hands a few times but she was careful with the pressure she applied. Never pressing too hard or pulling her measuring tape to tight either. "Lift your arms please, I need to uh... measure your bust size." Rayne said glowing bright red. "If you could hold the end to the center of your chest that'd be very helpful. Also yes this is important."
-
"OH! Yes that's right. I have it somewhere." Rayne started to dig through some pouches she had with great fervor. She dug around in them without really looking but using touch to find what she was looking for. Pieces of fabric poked out every now and then, and even what looked to be a small ribbon, a cobalt blue in colour. Finally, her face lit up again and she pulled out the spool of sparkling ember thread. She had it flat in the palm of her hand. "Yep yep, still have it.~" She swayed back and forth, the rush of happiness from before coming back to her. She was filled with delight every time she laid eyes on it. After all, it was the perfect find. As if fortune itself was smiling upon her to find it. It was certainly a rare thread indeed. "I'll have to get your measurements. Means I have to touch you a lot, hopefully your okay with that." she said not really realizing how weird that sounded. "It's been awhile since I've worked on something this important... oooooh I hope it goes well. I might be a little rusty. Though, Ma always said a Marigold never forgets how to sow."
-
"Yes, that was what I was doing, just picking up some new weaponry. It's all I have to do that I can remember. Can just relax after that errand is complete which shouldn't take long. Well... hopefully I don't get lost this time either. I had to more or less hire someone last time." she said slightly embarrassed. "Anyway, this'll be quick. If you're free we could do something I suppose. Don't think I'm all that great company though." Rayne dashed into the store and picked out a new Javelin quite quickly. ((Purchase 1 Steel Javelin)) and made her way back out to where Cadence was. "See, easy peasy! Now, where to?"
-
"I'm okay." she said a bit meekly. It was nearly a whisper. She paused for a moment not saying something long enough for it to get just a touch awkward. However she cut through it by beginning to speak again. "I wasn't really in any hurry. I was just thinking about what I was going to do after I picked up some new weaponry. It's only a short errand so I'll have a bit of free time that I need to fill so I was thinking. Which tends to lead to me spacing out a bit too much." Rayne only really noticed now that Clarisse hadn't followed her. She thought she would have but perhaps Clarisse had some things she wanted to do? Rayne was sorta hogging her to herself for the most part. Maybe she was hovering over Clarisse too much? Naaaaaaaaaah. However, Clarisse should be able to have time to herself. So long as she was with someone Rayne wouldn't get lost. She jsut felt rather comfortable around the fighter. She wasn't really sure why, but now that she wasn't around she felt that absence quite a bit more. She was a little sad she wasn't around right now. Rayne liked her company, she felt safer while she was around. She was so strong and pretty, and nice. Cadence would notice Rayne spacing out a bit, until she popped back into reality. "I'm at a loss really. Maybe I'll just catch up on some sleep? That might be nice."

Azura is preobably better than Ninian ((other than the fact I like Ninian as a character better.)) as Azura like pretty much counters Red units which is really hand when the meta is heavy on them. I happened to roll Ninian and Linde so two more Blue 5*s for the pile ((and yet another mage I'm like... mage lord apparently.)) and due to rolling the only unit from the banner I really really wanted ((Ninian)) I'm probably not going to bother rolling it anymore. Most of them are like colourless anyway and I really don't need more staff users I don't use. ((and Jaffar isn't really someone I care much about.)) The only one I'd really want is Priscilla cause of my FE7 run where she's like one of my best units. Other stuff was just stuff I already had etc... so the only noteworthy things were Linde and Ninian. ~~((training Ninian is a pain in the bottom by the way.))~~ -
She did listen. She was still coherent despite the circumstances so hearing Cade's voice was enough for her to regain focus. She focused on regaining her breathe before trying to get back to her feet. It was probably a bad idea seeing it was harder to get air into one's self in a sitting position, but she figured it was best to not move until she did. She gingerly went to stand after hoping that her balance wasn't off or something or she was hurt. She found that she wasn't though and was perfectly capable of standing. She then proceeded to brush off her armour of the debris from the landing. "Sorry, I wasn't paying attention." she said tears welling under her eyes. She was just on the verge of bawling her eyes out, she tried as hard as she could not to though.
-
"Ahhhhhh... relaxing after this errand will be nice~" Rayne streched clsoing her eyes just iamgining what a nice warm bed would feel like. When she opened them she suddenly saw a bunch of red. The alarm went off in her head. "It's a person it's a person... It's A PERSON!!! ABOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORT WALKING PROTOCOLS!!!" but it was already much much too late. She'd not be able to steer off course in time. "AHHHHHHHHH!!!" Brace for impact! She slammed into the reddish color blob she assumed was another person. However she didn't really get a good look it all happened so fast. She was sitting on the floor holding her head not. Luckily... or maybe not, it was Cadence the airheaded one had slammed into. However she hadn't had the time to realize it yet as she was still recovering from the impact. She had most of the wind knocked out of her and she was still trying to recover that. She gasped violently for air. ((probably acting a bit over-dramatic.)), she at least forced herself to sit upright again.
-
Another town another place Beau would get cranky. But, Rayne had shopping stuff she needed to do so! Well and eating and sleeping. Beds were nice. "Clarisse, I'm going to be picking up something from the armoury. Hopefully they have something I can replace this old battered thing with." Rayne said showing her the Javelin she had. She didn't realize however that it was the new one she had just purchased back in Irvetos. She walked on ahead not really paying attention to if Clarisse was following her or not. SHe jsut watned to pick up that one thing and be done with it. Then she could just relax. Probably...?
-
"Right! Let's go do it now then! Best to get it out of the way as soon as possible." Rayne grabbed Clarisse by the hand and dragged her along behind her while bolted in Madante's direction. She was much stronger looking then her tiny form would suggest, probably catching most off-guard if they were caught in this situation. She stopped to pat Beau on his head, he snorted happily in response.and then she continued. "MADANTE!!!" she shouted to get his attention. "Hihi~.This is my new bodyguard. She helped me earlier since I kinda got lost in town. She was rather helpful so I decided to bring her along with us. She also helped a lot with the thieves! However... she'll need pay if she's to continue with our outfit. You could just pay her yourself or raise my pay a bit and I'll handle it myself. Up to you." she said excitedly. She didn't really give Madante an option to say no. Rayne more or less decided on her own that Clarisse was coming with them. She wasn't going to let anyone, not even Madante, tell her no.

well ye, that's why Ranged mounted have the lowest stat totals of all units. But she's super good. As I said I have her at lvl 40 already 4* and she's doing cray things for me and she's not nearly full power yet. Maybe I'm just biased, but I'm honestly really liking her. She's fun in the super evil character way. I like her.~ She was just like a pretty throw away villain in FE7 so I'm just finding it interesting I guess. I'm also glad that a Grand Battle Unit is actually worth the hassle this time and not like a half-baked over specialized thing. She does have a bit of specialization but it doesn't hold her back that much, it honestly is just a nice little bonus that she looks at mounted units and they disintegrate lol ((I so hope to run into a cav dream meme team and jsut destroy them all with Ursula someday.)) -

Yea, this is why I use her in conjunction with a dancer, or... which something that can augment speed. Rein is good ye but not everyone is going to roll Rein/Olwen, since they are 5*'s after all. Ursula is nearly on par with them but free so ong as you can beat the map XD. Which says a lot. She's by far the hands down best Grand Hero Battle unit so far since she's actually like not entirely situational. ((she lolexplodes cav with Blarwolf yes but it's not all she's capable of.)) She good~ ((her B slot is open and I'd probably if it were me give her a breaker skill probably for swords so she can ORKO Red Sword lords always, the main thing that outspeeds her. Maybe Bowbreaker but that'd be for literally jsut Takumi.)) -

@Sheep, you get lower than level 40s because Reinhardt tanks your BST. Your total BST isn't high enough in Arena to fight things that are that high. Your opponents are based on your max BST so it'll pick stuff that's a bit lower levled to compensate. Also... Ursula... actually has more effective damage than Reinhardt base. Her effective attack stat is 45 with neutral ((the only thing it can be right now.)) Rien has 44 with +Attack. So if she doubles, she does the same amount she's... a good unit because her skills make her good. Like they are good as hell on her XD. ((her damage is around the same as Olwen without Death Blow.)) She's... pretty close to them in terms of herself as a unit. ((like she's a gooooooooood unit. trust me, leveling her to max was easy as fuck she was killing greens with proper support.)) -

Raindrop Valkyrie replied to Maelstrom's topic in Gaming General
Tfw you max out Ursula's level day one of getting her. ((with having to get her to 20 to first unlock 4* cause with your current units it's impossible to do the lvl 40 variant of the map.)) I'll note if Ursula was a physical unit she'd be garbage. But it's the act that she deals damage to the usual lower defense, Death Blow, and that melees will walk into her range and proc threaten Resistence that makes her actually work. She's weirdly good ((and this is without her having Death Blow 3 and Blarwolf+)) She obviously deletes Cavalry units too. Like... they are jsut gone ((and she only really have issues with Cecilia horsewise but still beats her if you let her attack you first. Other Green Cav have pretty crappy resistance and have to attack at range to the point she can heavily wound them enough for another unit to take them out ((or get danced.)) She needs a bit of Hone Attack/Rally Support as her attack is a little low even with Death Blow, but that just makes Olivia more or less the perfect compliment to her, Dances + Hone Attack. She's got the typical mage issues but if you need a hyper mobile blue mage... well she'll do jsut fine ((she's basically discount Reinhardt/Olwen. Though with the I explode Horses into tiny itty bitty pieces bonus.)) -
[Art: Spriting/Feedback] Recolored Cal
Raindrop Valkyrie replied to Daniel Blackworth's topic in Creative Works
It's fine you own the thread. Just don't do it excessively please.~ While I'm here though it's be swell if you added a tag to the title of the thread. I'd say [Art: Spriting/Feedback] that way people know that you're looking for them to comment on what you're doin' here. All you have to do is hit edit on the first post in the thread and you should get access to the full editor. You can then get to the title field ((like when you created the thread)) and add that tag to the front or the back of the title. It helps you out and helps out those viewing the forum~ As for feedback I'm not really the greatest at this type of thing. I'd say the real issue with the first is that it's very washed out actually. It's not really vivid or vibrant in colour it actually has a dullness to it. It looks faded but not in a way that indicates like age or sun damage just that's it's not a full colour etc. The hair definitely has the radioactive feel too it, as it's a very odd shade of green. It's made more so due to the two shades used there being pretty different and the one on the outside edge being brighter then the inner shade. It gives it the impression that it's glowing, when I really don't think that's what you're aiming for. Onto the second. This one the colours are much fuller and better realized. The blue is a lot more striking and feels a lot more like it belongs on that kind of clothing. It feels more like a fabric blazer etc. The first looks more like a faded like jean jacket. It contrasts a lot better with the Orange as well. Orange is blue's complementary colour, or the one that when next to it makes both of them pop more. The second deeper and more rich shade of blue used in the second brings this out. It compliments the orange a lot better and brings out both of them all the more. The green in the hair is a lot more sensical as well. It's shading makes more overall sense and it's a more reasonable colour ((green is still off the wall for hair but the darker tones keep it looking more like hair than he's got a hunk of kryponite stuck to his noggin')) all in all, the second utilizes colour a lot better and makes a lot more sense. There's not too much more tocomment on here as recolouring isn't too complex a concept. Hope this has been helpful for you.~ -
"Huh... you're right actually." It was pretty odd how they just seemingly didn't notice. Maybe they just didn't care. Or they trusted her judgement in people. That'd.... be weird reason though. Rayne didn't think she was with this group long enough for them to be familiar with her quirks quite like that. Her people skills were good, but she rarely demonstrated them around the rest of the guards. She really just let them do the talking, let them handle it while minding her own business. She wasn't really sure what to make of this. "I'm not really sure what's the case there. I guess they trust my judgement? Or maybe they were just happy to have another hand to fight those ne'erdowells. Either way I'm sure you proved yourself more than capable so there's probably got going to be issues bringing you along." she said, Clarisse would've sworn she heard her say something underneath her breathe, probably just loud enough to make out. though I wish I could keep you to myself. Rayne put her index finger to her chin and leaned forward. "As for the important guy, you probably mean Madante, we should probably make sure he knows you're with us to stay at the least. Since he knew you were helping us for this battle but, you're with me for good now~ Well us I suppose. He's the leader of this unit after all."

I'll just note quickly for Odin Mael... Spur Skills do not trigger Blarblade. It must be one that applies a buff at all times. ((so Saizo and Jeorge don't actually give him damage.)) it has to be through Rally Skills, Hone/Fortify, or Defiant skills ((hence why Odin has Defiant Attack.)). It can't be Spur or ward. As for Linde she's kinda the best blue mage in the game. like... period. Her natural stats are enough to carry her without considering her abilities/skills at all. If you can transfer specials with the skill inherit giving her any special that does damage or increases her damage would make her flat out insane. ((or really any skills to further it.)) Her nat Speed and attack are some of the highest in the game so Red units are going to cry. Aura's effect is pretty good too giving some amounts of HP to your allied units allwoing them to survive an extra hit possibly. But ye if you have Linde she's probably the blue mage you should use. ((like her stats alone...)) one could argue a case for Olwen/Rein ((due to their Brave TOmes and somewhat existent bulk.)) but Linde is seriosuly one of the strongest units you can roll at the moment. -

Raindrop Valkyrie replied to Maelstrom's topic in Gaming General
Yes but do keep in mind Odin has Blarblade which means literally any attack buff on him counts as double and every other buff give him an equal amount of attack as the other stat ((so Rally Speed used on him would be +4 Spd AND Attack. Odin not really a Jack of all trades unit he has Defiant Attack and some other skill. ((I think it's REdtomebreaker?)) anyway he's meant to be an attacker you just need a comp that focuses on him by buffing him. The problem here? If you have access to Nino or Tharja both are just... 5000% better. ((not to mention Defiant Attack is a rather outlandish dream on Odin as he's not really tanky enough to survive at around 50% to get it to activate.)) In short Odin is entirely lacklustre outside of buffing teams built around him but the others that you can do this with ((Tharja and Nino)) are more solid units. ((as both could actually be reasonably used on team not entirely focused on them.)) Further to the above, Saizo and Kags have... entirely different roles ((despite both being dagger users.)) Saizo is more meant for support and Kags actually does damage ((due to the effective bonuses.)). I think there's better buffers/debuffers than Saizo he's merely... okay. He can just chip and debuff at the same time and from a distance making him a bit safer than FCorrin ((though she's tanky enough to get in the fray.)) Only frustrating thing there... Reinhardt tanks the possible score you can get in Arena due to his total BST being low which one has to account for. ((at least not right now due to the whole he gains bonus for you at the moment since Banner unit.)) the combo is probably solid enough there since they probably cover for each other decent. He's probably strong enough pick to warrant if just trying to get the score for feathers and not caring otherwise but if you want max score he's not currently all that runnable ((which seriously I hate that possible score for arena is based on BST of your units...)) -
"Oh, flying isn't really that scary. I thought it would be at first but... once I started the nerves melted away. The feeling of the wind is just... like nothing else." Rayne sorta paused for a moment, just standing there thinking about the feeling. It was one of the two she loved the most in this world. It felt natural to her, like one of the best places to be. Funny, her head was already always in the clouds before she learned to fly with Beau. "Hey, what if... I show you sometime? I'd have to convince Beau to like you though. That might be a little difficult. But I'm sure he'd come around eventually. I'm sure me liking you would count for something. Though... might have to settle with a general "I will mildly tolerate you cause Rayne is making me." from the big guy. It's better than most people get though." Beau was rather picky with people. She never really understood what his deal was. Why he only ever liked her. No one was. Beau snorted in response to all this, being close enough to hear him being discussed. He gave Clarisse a midly hariy eyeball before settling down. It was clear at the least he wasn't going to be hostile.
-
"You'd still probably look really heroic though so I think it works out in the end! I'd probably look pretty cute, I'm like... the cutest so that'd work." Rayne said adding in a curtsy afterwards, and spinning around. General cute things and what not. "So long as you get me to the right place I think that counts as defeating my airheadedness. I'd count it at least~" "Huh, you said you started training as a kid huh? I started pretty late honestly... only about 2 years ago or so. It's not been all that long. Though I always dreamed of being a pegasus knight. Even since I was really little. AHHHHHH, they were always so cool! With their pegasuses... pegasi...?" she trailed off for a moment before regaining her train of thought. "Oh! And their lances... those were really cool too! They always reminded me of needles. My Ma always thought it was silly, but I couldn't help but make the comparison. Hmm... I have been sewing and tailoring since I was four though. So I guess I know what it's like to start something at a young age."
-
"Even if you were, I doubt he'd let you. Beau seems to only really like me. I'm not sure why. Actually... none of the trainers were either. I'm the only person he's ever let even ride him for starters. They were going to send him off before... well he ended up with me." Rayne remembered that day like it was yesterday... the day she met Beau. Her answer though was clear she was avoiding saying what it was. She hesitated at the end of the sentence. Switching what she was going to say with something else at the last moment. She continued on talking though so it was rather hard to really remark on. "Super though ah, you could carry me like in those old stories like a princess or something! My hero~ I would help but the most common danger you'd probably have to save me from is myself so... well, that might be awkward." she couldn't help but to giggle at that.
-
Rayne took a deep breathe closing her eyes even. It was a strange sight one wasn't really sure what this was... but an odd reaction to one talking and suddenly... "YOU! WERE! AWESOME!" the tinyish Pegasus knight burst forth with a mirth double her size easily. She was practically bouncing up and down with excitement. "Like the way you hit that dude and BOOM! And like SMASH! It was great. You got a good arm, means you be able to hold me really tight if you need to carry me away from danger~" She winked after that last line, before succumbing to a fit of giggles. "Okay that was kinda silly. But uh ye, you were awesome~ I'm sure Madante would hire you. And if not... I will! Still! You'll still uh... stay with me though right? I kinda liked the idea of having you as like... my Guard Guard. And you're like... I dunno. Really cool and stuff. Though maybe we can be friends instead? That would be fun. I'd like that."
-
With the bulk o the fighting seemingly over Rayne went off to go find Clarisse. She hoped her new Guard Guard had seen her excel in her fighting so that she knew on the battlefield it was a much different story.
