"If everything does come from the goddess, I'm sure you'd not mind me running a spear through your brain then. It'd be from the goddess after all." Meredith said, a smile dancing across her lips. She wasn't bothered by the man truly, but he would learn that there was boundaries you didn't cross. She was still holding her spear as well so... She really wasn't sure why he decided it be a good time to do what he did. "Sadly for you, you'd be dead in an instant, no time to feel that pain you so dearly crave. You see the issue with believing everything comes from the goddess. Everything cannot. The Goddess, is probably the justification for this war to begin with. For both sides. No goddess would condone the slaughter of her children, and if she did, she'd not be a goddess worth believing in. Saying everything comes from the goddess, is simply a justification, One that I do not believe right the wrongs and atrocities one commits. " She walked off, nary another word. She had quite enough of the loons for today. Not sure why this force had so many apparently. At least some of them seemed reasonable enough. Some, the main operative word. She wasn't exactly sure how to take this unit. Full of those who were barely older than then children they had saved... She thought back to the wrods Rosa had said. "Some of them were still children." sadly, it was untrue. Once your stepped on that battlefield, you stopped being one. Your innocence washed away the moment fighting started. They were children no more.

"We'd have thousands of champions of the goddess if every loon was to be believed about their "vision". Your passion also will only prove me more correct. It's of your own merit, it doesn't come from the goddess." Clearly kept her composure. This one sure was a hand full, but nothing she hadn't handled before. There were plenty of loons like this in the Dragao forces. Far too many. Why such grand illusions were seemingly common these days was beyond Meredith. As if the Goddess had time to play wet nurse for these petulant children. It was probably some ploy for attention. Regardless it wasn't much of a concern, it was highly unlikely to be true and even if it was... well it's not like she had anyway of knowing. Even if she did, it wasn't going to make her see this one any different than now. Just a brat, that had never seen the true horrors of what war was. She'd learn soon enough. "As for where I come from... Just a small fishing village in Dragao. So small it's not even on any maps."
-
"It's not really a subject I feel comfortable discussing, especially not here. I apologize, but I will not be answering." Meredith wasn't entirely sure how informed her unit was that she was once part of the force they were fighting. She assumed by this answer not well. She immediately clammed up and refrained from answering the question, even a little. She knew now wasn't the time. Especially while they were moving prisoners. She wasn't sure if it would flare any tempers, or... what it could cause really. For the peace of mind of those they rescued she didn't that it'd be best they never knew she was once working for their oppressors. She just hoped she deflected it well enough that he'd not press further questions, or, that he wasn't the type that wouldn't take no for an answer.

"Prayers don't do much good on a battlefield. They don't exactly stop a spear or a sword going piercing your gut. Prayers are the worst armour there is in this world." The solider said, from a world of experience. If anyone knew this it was her for sure. She never once tried to rely on the goddess in battle. It was a surefire way to die if you believed you'd be saved by sheer luck time and time again. Meredith wasn't really sure it was the best idea to show her face around the prisoners. They might recognize her. Though the story "The Undying" wasn't a huge tale, she was sure it was bound to be heard by some folks. Though, there wasn't really much avoiding it. "The Battlefield is a place no god treads. It is only a place of death. Regardless, of what one believes it is clear that no god is present in the place a battle rages. I'd also prefer we not give people false hope. I feel for their loss, but we cannot promise the safe return of their family. That force... that army. Even if we did manage to find the girl unharmed, it might only be on the surface she is. There's a reason they take children. They're impressionable and... if that fails, they are easy to break mentally. That and they are still in the prime of their youth, making them perfect to groom as new prospective soldiers if they show talent, or... perfect for unwitting cannon fodder. I do not think it is wise to promise people their safe return. It's not something we can do. I will do everything in my power to save as many as I possibly can as will the rest of the Misguided Children, that I'm sure of, however... Our work seeks to save an entire kingdom. If we fail for one life... many more will follow and suffer the same fate as her. In an Idealistic world, perhaps we could. But, this world is far from it. Remember, despite what you'd like to think, those that serve in that army are just as human as us. They are people, as are we. We're not fighting nameless monsters here. We're fighting sons, daughters, fathers...mothers of this country. It's best to keep this in perspective."

Lucille & Co., Luna, The most unlikely place to have a heart to heart to the point I'm not really sure why one earth you'd have it here, but on goes the show I suppose! "Of course, I don't know why I told you either. Perhaps, it just got too cumbersome to shoulder all of it's weight myself. Or, maybe it was because you were the first person to ever ask me who I was. Who I really was." the first... a despondent truth if there ever was such a tragedy. Sadly, it did exist within her life. Not even those she had once considering family, blood... asked who she really was. It felt, depressingly awful to admit such a fate. But, such was hers. Not even her sister, Fate knew who she really was. She had never thought to ask. Perhpas was the nature of one who could see the strings of others. Seeing that, they thought they could fully understand a person. But, her manipulation of fate itself... destroyed the image. She never considered the actions they took. She couldn't even foresee her own demise. She knew Luna's plan, and yet still failed. She knew that Luna had carved a rune into her chest that would activate on the casting of her fate magic. One that would stop time for the world for a few seconds. However, the rune was fake and didn't work. She never knew. Because she had fallen for Luna's trap. She tried to warp her own fate at the last second. However... fate magic couldn't manipulate one's own fate, because it was as Luna knew. You had to forge your own fate, and write it yourself. Magic couldn't even manipulate it. At least, not that which came from you. She only realized after all that time, Luna was correct... as the fangs of the Nightmare Beast severed the silver threads of fate from herself. In the end... she never knew her own sister and, thus, in the end, it was why she fell. Countless other times, this morose happening, was the downfall of the Primordials, time and time again. They thought incorrectly, about the one they called Bomoriel. They counted her out thinking her abilities were of the weakest amoungst the Primordial Ones. They were gravely... gravely mistaken. Though, Luna... couldn't say that she was committed to said fate. She wanted to watch Humans grow... thrive. She wanted to see partially what they became... and in other parts, what they would do free of the influence of the Primordial Ones. She wasn't just willing to give up on that. If she could find some reason... something to move past this, she would. But, if she couldn't she would accept her fate. "However, it'll be a long time until that day Feral Child. So...let us not be so melancholy. If I find a way that it needn't be... it shall not be. No promises.I'm ready to accept my fate as it is once time comes, but until then... there's time to find some other way."

Meredith placed her hand on her side. She wasn't gravely wounded but it sure did hurt now that the fighting was over. The adrenaline from had beat a tune over top the pain, but for now, it's ability to stanch the heat of pain, waned. She didn't enter the prison she stayed outside watching as the ones they recused came out one by one. Many of them were children. It filled her with disgust... because she knew why they were here. It was a practice the army had begun doing to replenish troops... conscripting youth. They had no part in this battle and yet were unjustly forced into whatever this petty war was about. She was glad they had saved them... but, there was so many more that had gone through here that were long gone by now. "I'm glad I got out of this before I was blinded by it. Gerson was right... I wasn't joining the right side. Now, I am where I was meant to be."
-
"I... don't know." Luna said. She... really didn't know but she did know one thing... "I've been too long for this world. I don't have a place in it anymore. My true duty ended when I neglected it. I don't think that it is any longer my choice. I gave up that right when I choose not to act all those years ago. So... I'll right that wrong... before I pass into the oblivion that the rest of the Primordial should have long ago. The world isn't a place I can exist anymore and not feel the pain of my transgressions...even if I make right for what I've done, those choices will forever effect the universe... they will always be there, regardless of what I do. I grow weary... and the curse of immortality bears heavily on my soul. I... don't think there's any other possibility for me."

"There are still many I have yet to send to the afterlife. They can die... it involves the involuntary release of magic when a soul exits the physical body. When I end their physical container's life... I carve this rune into their flesh." quickly the dog struck out at a near by barrel with her claws and she carved into it. It was a flash, and the moment over. She had to be quick to catch the soul as it exited the body, so that the runes's magic would activate. She couldn't will the mana to it herself, she needed theirs. The rune was the shape of an S, though it was slightly different. "This is the rune Sowilo. The rune of the sun...the one that opposes the forces of which I seek to destroy. It is the cleansing fire and so far the only thing I found that truly destroys the Primordial Ones. All the others... fell to the corruption of Magic. I never have and still have no idea how to manipulate mana myself. However, those that cast magic when their soul exits their body, the mana held within inadvertently bursts worth with it. So, My rune absorbs the mana source and that powers the magic it's meant to perform. Their own magic fuels their end. Poetic I think. So, I'm not the last. I aim to change that. If they refuse to leave this world to it's inheritance... I will wrest it back and give it to it's rightful owners. Sadly... I know that once I must leave this world myself, that the method I've devised will not work for me unless someone else fuels it. i have no ability to manipulate mana... and therefore even if my body gave way, there'd be nothing to power the rune. I'd still be stuck in this plane."

"Because I never wanted it. It was forced upon me. This curse. That despite being attached to nature itself being one with beasts... I cannot die. Slay me, spill my blood... I will only come back. I would enjoy the respite from the pain, however, I would soon feel myself forced to flesh once more. What I am, is not my choice. I am a specter trapped within the limbo of a design far outdated. The Primordial Ones... They weren't meant to be what they were, what I am. We were supposed to pass on from this plane eons ago... but they never left. I feared what this implicated. And I was right to do so. They had twisted the very nature of our being... and further, that of our children. They perverted their form. Demons... were much like humans once. They were once... almost one and the same. But, the Primordials decided to tamper with the natural order of things. to make their children more than they were meant for. I advised against this... they didn't listen. Slowly, I watched the children made by my brothers and sisters be corrupted at their hands. I was young then... young and prideful. I wanted them to watch their mistakes unfold. In that desire... I doomed all of the demon race to be what they are today. The brutish mongers of war, battle, death and all things perverse. I've never forgiven myself for this." images flashed throughout, many scenes that Lucille, didn't understand. They were fast powerful. many of the scenes were so, other worldly she just couldn't grasp them. Others were out of focus. However, she did see one clear image. One that she was not sure if the being before her intentionally showed it, or left it leak. Either way... it was a striking visual. A large and grotesque wolf creature stood over a human. But not menacingly. Forlornly. The figure standing on two bipedal legs, dropped to it's knees and collapsed. It placed the human woman's head in her lap. Tears ran down it's face... and when it looked down fully, Lucy could see a spear driven through it's heart. Luna's voice came from the creature. "I'm sorry... I was too late." she just, stroked the woman's hair tears welling within her eyes. so much so that the scene was barely visible anymore. "I... I cannot forgive myself... for falling for the temptation to prove I was right. In that lapse of judgement... I doomed thousands... for what? My greed...? My want to get back at my misguided brothers and sisters. But it was I who was misguided. It was I.. who let them do this. I didn't stop them. My arrogance... my pride... my whatever... is responsible for the death of millions of souls as they were. The dream... died because I let it. The world forever corrupted and changed because I didn't protect my children when I had the chance. They weren't even strictly mine... but yet, I failed them. I didn't hold my ground I didn't... I didn't save them. And yet again the universe dawns to repeat itself. I can feel it in all of my being. This world will probably never truly be safe, but it will never be safe with the other Primordials. I've murdered them... to force them to pay for their sins. At times it was easy. They trusted me... and never expected me to sink my fangs into their skulls. Further.. I learned runes for a reason, I couldn't cast them, but the dark power from them that released when a Primordial died could. It would power the rune to the one spell to end us forever. I Defy... because my kind... shouldn't exist anymore. Nor should I. But, while I have borrowed time... I'll use it to atone, and to protect the yet uncorrupted... Humankind. My fate is my own. I even killed fate itself to prove the point. That all beings fate was nothing predetermined... they only were due to her wicked magic. Lady Fate... I once loved her, she was one of my sisters... but she sinned more than even I."

"Little one..." Luna addressed the presence of the mouse that she could detect from the beginning. He was sure of the fact she was addressing him. The clarity flared, and it was clear to him she was directly addressing him. "I'm not sure what has happened, but I fear this is due to the revelation of the extent of my being. This is in part, why I do not entrust this information to that of mortals often. Many when they see what I am, do not truly understand what I am. They judge me based on the others of my kind. The progenitors that subjected... destroyed, toyed with the natural world. I am not one of these beings... at least not anymore. I'm am no god... I'm no demon. I am one who was written her own fate, though it be doomed. Many of the Progenitors that have passed from this world... that I mentioned before... were at my claws ended in bloody retribution for their crimes. If I am the trigger for this event, it may not be wise for me to reawaken her from it. You and and the Dire Bear should be the ones to break her from this... whatever it is. This information is only yours. She cannot hear it. I'm am sorry if I have caused trouble for you." she paused, troubled in her tone of voice. But, she asked what I was. I thought maybe once someone might understand what I am. Maybe she does... but I don't know if it was worth this. If I have caused irreversible damage... I apologize child. I did not mean for this to happen. I also will not forgive myself. Yet another burden to carry in my heart that refuses yet to cease beating. Another slight...another mistake.Though I suppose it is yet to early to know. Should I help you? I... am not sure what I should do. Wh...what do you think?"

"It's not so much a matter of gossip, I don't take you as the sort. But, what I'm about to tell you... is not something that is heard oft in this world. It may be world shattering to some, and there are those that wouldn't be fond to know of my true existence. What I am. It's not a simple matter. Some would call me a god, others a demon of great power. None of them truly know me." She hesitated here. She was about to do something she hadn't really done before. Tell her secret to another being. Was it the right thing to do? She, honestly wasn't sure. She never recalled this being the right choice before and it only ending in disaster. Many weren't willing to accept what she was, others would rather destroy her knowing. Some had succeeded, though, killing her physical form only did so much. She wasn't sure if she was right to trust this one, but... hiding her true self... always felt restricting. It felt like drowning in the image of what "Bomoriel" was. She wanted to be known for who she was. Not a misconception. "Bomoriel is my given name. At the beginning of time it was assigned to me like a name was assigned to my brothers and sisters. We, were the Primordial Ones. Most of our kind have either passed from this world... or are stuck in it.. limbo. I'm clearly one of the latter. I, myself, and not truly a demon, though try telling that to angel. Demons came from us. Not all of us but some. Other dark things that bump in the night come from us as well. We were the progenitors of many things. Though many considered a majority of us evil, unredeemable beyond belief... it was hardly the case. Evil, wasn't something that existed within us,at least not inherently. Demons in their first form were much closer to humans even. Though... they've changed remarkably, part in due to the world's perception of them... the constant "cleansing" of their kind. To the point they are near alien to me. Something I near despise, for they are now, much more than brutes. But, that's enough of a history lesson. You asked about me." "I am the sculptor of flesh. I was and still am the strongest of Shifters amoungst the Primordial. To call me a shapeshifter is a bit short sighted in that unlike them I don't need magic to do so. I have perfect control over my body. It is mine to make and change as I see fit. Most shifters are mere and pale imitations of me. They seek to replicate my abilities though... it'll never be truly possible. For my methods do not require magic and they can never be replicated by it. They can be mirrored, but not truly abstained. I'm sure that you can feel through this bond that rather than feel like the beast i am before you, you feel infinity. You feel the Feral Maelstrom. The twisting nether of endless possibility. It is the thing that makes me different from many others of the Primordial. It is my connection to the Universe, and the worlds that exist out there. It makes me more "natural" than them. I cannot cast magic myself. I have no capability. Though I do know of it and even how to create runes to be powered by others magic. To the point at times I carve them into my flesh during a transformation... with proper knowledge I can make myself quite resistant to a caster's onslaught, though it requires an absurd amount of prior planning... Sorry, getting sidetracked." she paused to collect her thoughts a moment before carrying on. "Due to my abilities... some worshiped me as a god. I say me but what I truly mean is their elected image of me. My given name changed to be some sort of... false puppet of my being. It really had taken a life of it's own to the point I stop regarded it as myself they were worshiping but a false deity. Though, even if my image had been current... I'd consider it the same. I'm not above other beings, I'm no god regardless of my make, my partial immortality. However, they worshiped me as a Male figure... a god that represented the feral side of nature. It didn't help that technically... the curse of lycanthropy... was born of my being, however, that's a long story for another time. It took a long time to destroy the image of Bomoriel and it was mostly due to my diligence that it broke apart. I seeded into motion, the Irathi Habaam. Women, that could turn transform. I used my ability to shift to inspire the magic that replicated my abilities. For a long time... it was revered as witchcraft, heresy almost, until I saved one of them from worshipers of the faith. There is a form I can take, that no other being in the world can. It's a creature that's design is only known to me... it's anatomy cannot be replicated. It is this form, that they believed to be Bomoriel's vessel, his avatar in this plane of existence. I used it to protect one of the Irathi Habaam... to tell the demons culture at the time, that Irathi Habaam were the true prophets of Bomoriel. That weakened the faith considerably, because it changed the image forever. Slowly it died out... I couldn't be happier it's gone. I choose a new name to celebrate it's collapse. Though to me, it was who I always was. My chosen name, is Luna."

"Only if you promise me that you will keep this information to yourselves. I'm sure you can't hide it from your bonds, though it's not like they can easily tell other humans what I am... or give other creatures really more information then they have simply from my aura." Luna sounded rather serious about it. Even through the link it was a bit tough to tell her emotional state or what exactly she was thinking. She was highly adapt at only letting off the information she wanted to... nothing less, nothing more. "If you can't, then I can't tell you. I'm not at a luxury that my true identity is something that is easy to give. What I am... is... complicated. I doubt that you'd find anything at least truly about me in those tomes your mouse would be searching for. They'd be about "Bom". Not about me."

Lucy and the Gang, Jesse, and Luna. Party Alley. The link did establish, though it felt markedly different from that of other beasts. It mainly connected due to the fact that Luna was terrified, and Lucille could feel the rush of emotions suddenly pour through the link. They wouldn't have overwhelmed, but the link was probably more complete than to any beast she had ever linked to before, even Bora or Despereaux. The emotions were almost hers, but they weren't. She could still mark the difference. She could hear a few of the thoughts before Luna heard her speak through the link. " - it together Luna." clearly in the middle of that thought. A few more frantic incomplete ones popped through her mind but they weren't coherent enough for Lucille to understand them. Her thoughts suddenly slowed as she heard Lucille ask her what she was doing. It snapped her back to reality. "Uh...oh. I don't know... I was exploring these back alleyways... and... bumped into you both and panicked... I guess? I don't know. Just don't... tell the Angel who I am unless you have to. The rest of the force doesn't exactly know what I can do so it might be a bit of a shock and he probably wouldn't believe you anyway... but I dunno. I'm the idiot who just panicked and blurted out English rather than bark so... what do I know?" she thought back through the link. Her thoughts were still bleeding through the link somewhat, but Luna managed to grab a handle on it. She had calmed down enough thanks to Lucille snapping her back, and allowing her to ground herself. The bond however still felt... markedly different. Lucille felt the weight of so many years from it. It didn't crush but the sheer size of it, just it's presence couldn't be contained in any way. Whatever this "Bom" was, she was positively ancient. Older than Lucille could even imagine. A feral storm older than time itself, is what it felt like she was connected with in this moment.

Okay, I'mma start trying to work on these updates in smaller chucks. Don't be worried if your section hasn't shown up yet I'm planning it out, I just think it's better to get things rolling by releasing the stuff I am okay with rather than holding onto it all for when I finish everything. Hopefully this speeds up the process a bit.

The Heart of the Castle, Tempest, "Solomon" "For heaven's sake... honey I don't know what you've gotten me into this time... but whatever you're doing you better have a plan." Tempest thought to herself. She didn't have much time to think though. She was constantly bombarded by flames and other pulses of magic that randomly flew from the once body of Solomon. It was out of control as whatever Azegeor was doing to it, caused it to go on some sort of auto-pilot. It's previous controlled over performances lost all their grace and were now just large gouts of unbridled magic. How much power was stored in this body was unknown. But it was like handed the controls to a rabid dog. It's programming was jsut destroy with no regards to how much magical power it leaked to do it. Normally this strategy to jsut overwhelm wouldn't work, you'd run out of power with which to splash magi everywhere... however... this being, "Panic" must have rigged so much power in this body over the years that it's supply seemed endless. It kept firing off spells left and right. It wasn't aiming just spreading as much to hit an area as it could. Tempest had to play smart, dodging wasn't really an option. She kept firing her blades of wind to cut swathes in the flames and dodged whatever other magic in the storm that she could. But, she just couldn't approach. There was no way to breach the full scale assault for long enough. She felt her energy slipping away, keeping this up was hell on her body, despite it's form. The storms in her raged, trying to keep her from collapsing trying everything they could to support her, but she felt the reserves of her power start to wane. She'd not be able to hold out a hell of a lot longer. "What the hell is happening?" "Cyllis? STAY BACK!!! THAT ISN'T SOLOMON!!!" Tempest shouted with all her might. She felt flames wash over her in her lapse of concentration... luckily, she was a spirit of storms; lightning was part of her composition. It didn't consume her, but it burned like wildfire. Her chest suddenly lit up, a crimson cavalcade. "[Alter Air]!!!" she shouted, pushing back the fire by creating a pocket. It took an immense amount of strength to do so... she couldn't afford to screw up that badly again. Embers clung to her chest, smoldering within the storms, adding dark smoke that swirled around inside. Flames also chased towards Cyllis, however he didn't even move. He just drew his Flamberge and stood his ground. "Old Man Fall, let the leaves fall and die... return to the earth to nourish the child of next spring. Breathe in the scents of decay, send them forth. Become the one who embodies physical form, the element from which forth the wrapper of life is born. [Fall's Harvest Dance]! [ROCK HEWER]!!!" Slammed his blade into the ground and suddenly the stone beneath it rose up wards to form a pillar. It Blasted around it with an immense force however, Cyllis himself was left unharmed. "Miss Tempest, WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE?! What are you doing? Why have you slain countless guards?!" "Cyllis, it's not what you think. Solomon has been gone for 40 years now. We have to remove that being from the throne so that this nightmare can be ended. This Castle has become a prison!!!" She tried not to lose focus this time. "You can worry about me later... we need to stop this madness, it'll rip apart the castle if it continues!! It will at the least damage the Heart! You just have to trust me. I know he's your friend... I know that Solomon is important to you but you have to trust me. You've got no reason to, but you have to. There's no time!" The Old mantis fidgeted clearly not happy with the situation He had next to no information other than that Tempest had blown her way through the door, and killed countless of the Night's Watch and other guards on her way in here. For all he knew, he could jsut be helping her commit an assassination attempt on his friend's life. Fate was cruel. If he was right and he went through with this... he'd never forgive himself. But, if he was wrong and the whole castle was in danger like Tempest was saying... and he didn't help her... he's still never forgive himself. He had to make a choice. One was clear to him. As, the general, defending his people was the most important duty. He had to do so. "Alright, I'll trust you, what do we do?" "We need to protect Azegeor's body! He's trying to defeat the creature that took over Solomon's mind from the inside. That spell is protecting him currently but I don't expect ti to last much longer." "On it!"

Luna "Bom", Alleyways Luna was busy exploring in her new form. She was trying to find the lay of the city, the darker places of the city at least. She was sniffing around alleyways, and the dark corridors. These would be the places she could easily retreat and move around the city. And they were at out of the way of the angels. Big bonus. Though she was sure most of them would have their heads far up their ass to notice a stray of even her size, she was sure dumb children or some of the more eccentric adults might still do the thing everyone does when they see a relaxed dog. Try to pet her. Luna didn't want to draw attention to herself so i she started biting people they would surely be on the look out for her, so she'd had to just deal if the occasion arose. Luckily, she could also just dip in and out of the alleyways to lose them, but she had to know the lay of the alleys first an foremost. However, unexpectedly... she bumped into both Jesse and Lucille. The scents of the alleys were putrid, least to once with this acute of senses, so she wasn't really paying attention to if there was humanoid scents present. The worst part was probably that she walked into the middle of the two without realizing it so it'd have been obvious. She couldn't exactly jump back into the shadows without them having noticed her form emerge. "Fate... you sure are a cruel sister. I should've been kinder to you..." Luna thought remembering the sister she slighted, however, a story for another time. Luna wasn't really sure what to do so she sat down in front of the two and barked something. She was banking on the fact that Lucille could hopefully understand her animal language, though she wasn't entirely confident. Luna barked with a bit of force... or she thought she did. In her panic instead she blurted out "Woof! Woof! Woof!" in actual words, rather than actually barked. She seemed to not notice.

It was easy to flit through the wildness in her true form. It wasn't a place she'd be seen. She traveled through the natural wilds until she couldn't anymore. She enjoyed that part of it, but... she'd have to rejoin the world of others now. She'd have to see beings of another nature once more. And... a whole city of them. Needless to say, Luna wasn't thrilled. Especially less so to be in an angel city. Luckily they couldn't sense her aura, nor could many humans... so she was sure they'd not find out. Hopefully she didn't need to fight so much. However, for now she certainly couldn't enter the city in her "true" form. The Nightmare Beast... what demons had once called it, way back in the day. They believed it to be the avatar of their god, Bomoriel. However, in reality it was Luna herself. Her own manifestation. She was a god in the flesh. She never felt like one though, however, being a Primordial One... it wasn't really up to her. She, was the sculptor of flesh... the strongest Shifter ever known to the Primordial. However, she was also the only Primordial to never create offspring. She never created anything into the world. For to her, nature was already perfect. Adding to it, only diluted it. She never really wanted to be what she was. Her line about half-bit nature goddess's to the Human Lucille... was in reality about her. It was why she hated Druids. Many had done awful things to the wild in her name. As if they knew her. The only solace Luna could take that was to her, Bomoriel was a different entity. It was the thing people believed she was. Hell, even within the accounts, "Bom" was a male god. He was a male figure, representing the wildness of nature itself. Luna sighed, she hated thinking about it. Worse was remembering what she said to Lucille. She saw that hesitance. After all that she said. Perhaps, her words were too over-eager. She found in someone... one that might understand her own frustrations, but soon found that perhaps she had unraveled it to far. She, couldn't be sure that's what that was, but... she felt that it was. The reason for her leaving, felt much to much like an excuse. It was too convenient for that moment. She clearly had control or at least, the ability to will that creature to not kill. She stopped it from attacking Luna herself after all... so, she had to be trying to get away from her. "Perhaps... I'm being too self centered." Luna said to herself, in the middle of the woods. But, she pressed on. She arrived at the city, now instead in the form of a Big bushy black dog. The type that looked wild, and yet, kind. The sort you'd not question if it was a stray or not and even if it was, you'd still think the hound friendly. She skittered through the gates of the city nearly undetected entering underneath a merchant's cart. Her black fur hid her from plain view unless you were lookin' mighty closely. Luckily for her, it seemed the guards weren't in the mood to look for contraband thoroughly today. She'd probably spend a bunch of time on her own within the city before gracing the others with her presence. She might not even show herself at all. Who'd expect a stray dog of all things to be guarding high value targets. However... things might get dicey if she did have to fight. Her best form for fighting was becoming the Nightmare Beast. But, that'd not go over well in a densely populated area. It was a last resort only. She could quickly upgrade to a dire wolf from this form and that would enhance her ability to fight quite a lot, without drawing as much attention. It was a strange plan. She was so lost in thought she hadn't noticed she arrived nearly at the same time as Lucille, though she'd have only she her barely over the crowd, and only due to her riding that bear of hers. She didn't see her at all. However, her aura definitely would've been felt by them. The feel of a light summer breeze... even if there was no wind today.

"If I told you, I doubt you'd believe me." Luna mused to herself. It was clear she was pondering something heavily. She fidgeted in place and rubbed her tiny rat paws about her face. It looked quite scholarly for a rat. "Most cannot sense my aura at least not humans. But, whatever your tie to beasts... I think that is what allows you this ability. Don't worry about it though, It'll fade with time. It is only this strong for those when they first cross my path. Think of it as my... expression of personal space. It changes with my disposition, or at least I can alter it for those I wish to." Lucille felt the aura immediately change how it felt, it was the same for her companions as well. Luna had figured that if she didn't change it for all of them... the feedback might be more jarring than it was now. It felt much less oppressive. The weight lifted and it felt more airy... clear. It went from a deep, depressive, oppressive dirge, to a light hum, like a summer breeze. It still had a strange tinge to it, something decidedly inhuman. "I am another who is one with beasts, or... I could be. I tend to prefer my privacy however, so I don't take bonds, or companions. Or did I think thee a druid. You are much different from those... fools. They expect nature to serve them as if they are it's rulers. We are not to be at the beck and call of some... arrogant fool who thinks his connection to some half-baked nature goddess means he has dominion over us. You aren't a spineless coward that fights in the back. You fight with your beasts. You are a beast, or might as well be one of the feral children of the wilds. A human, not meant for civilization, the opiate said race craves so highly. Though, it was probably in part due to my presence... I could feel your discomfort with that confined space. A prison of four walls. I found this... interesting. Many of human kind find the confinement of walls to be comforting. I nary know the reason why, however, I'm sure you feel the same as I." Luna shifted her head to the side abruptly and then started sniffing the air. She stopped talking to do this, and then even placed her ear to the ground. Her sight was pretty awful as a rat, but her other senses were strong. Her experience being a hound certainly help her hone her senses that nearly any animal with a decent scent of smell she had good control over. "Hmmmm... your friend will arrive soon. I think I can hear his thundering steps and I smell... a wild scent. Not one from a city. One that nearly matches your own. Hmmmm, Bear? Is this friend of yours a bear? Hehehe, I do hope I'm right. I've never guessed wrong before, but I used to having better senses than that of a rat."

"A touch dramatic don't you think?" Luna said, lifting a single eyebrow. It was rather curious for a rat to do so. They weren't typically expressive. So, how Luna managed it was probably a mystery. However Luna continued. She wasn't really looking forward to this. "Not sure if you noticed but everyone saw fit to be eyein' me up for whatever their reasons. Not my scene. I prefer to be on my own. I just took the use of you leaving as a way to vanish without them noticing. I do admit... quite the tactic an assassin might make use of." Lucille would notice the immense amount of discomfort within her voice. She didn't make an effort to hide it. Being down there made her feel awful as well. More because she was forced to share such a small space with such boring individuals, but she also preferred the verdant wilds to the lethargic tones of brown and grey of civilization. Luna's voice was perfectly recognizable, despite being an animal. "But, use some common sense, if I had prior knowledge and could sneak in unseen, why would I ever show my face? Further, if my goal was to eliminate the task force and I already had prior knowledge... why wouldn't I take the opportunity to take out a high priority target like Vermillo? The best way to make a distraction, is to make the machine tumble down from the top. New management always makes mistakes, don't know who they are working with. So, the highest priority target in this situation would be Vermillo. With him out of the picture, this task force regardless if they become collateral damage or not... is off the table. He's the one pulling the strings. If he was gone and this briefing never took place... it would definitely make it harder for a force like this to be mobilized. And, in the ensuing chaos, whatever it is they are after... is oh so much easier to grasp. So, I'll forget the accusation. And furthermore, I already know your blindness is no impairment. I can see your "bond", or one of them if you are too believed. I highly doubt the mouse is your only companion. I've witnessed enough of your like that tended to have a "bond" for scouting where they could not reach, and another for fighting. Though, lookin' at you... you probably wouldn't need one for that. That mouse of yours... him giving you access to your sense again... that's all you really need to fight isn't it?" She paused for a moment, only to continue asking questions. "Your bonds, They can sense my aura... can't they? I should have known this. Animals are especially sensitive to my call."
