Yea I not voting for reason that I hate giving a simple yes or no to an answer. Maybe I'm a butt. Ooooooooh well. I persoanlly think it's a good idea or plan to supplement some rolling type stuff for RPs that you know garner that system or want it to do things better I suppose? I dunno. I feel like it's a good thing to have in some situations. That is really the only question I felt I coooooould answer and it would certainly be yes. However I have to answer all of them so I can't answer just that one. Question 2. It's ENTIRELY dependent on the RP. If I felt the RP wanted one of the systems, I'd uuuuuse it. However, I wouldn't just use it for everything. I feel the systems of an RP should fit that RP and what it means to accomplish. As this is more so for a combat orientated system ((it could probably be waggled into something more fitting of course lol.)), it tends and will favor experiences that cater towards that. Obviously, that's not an issue so long as that's what the RP wishes to accomplish this etc. Anyway, in short I'd use it if it was the correct thing to sue it for, for both systems. Question 3. Once again similar to above. I'd say yes if it was good for the RP. I'd not if it didn't seem like a natrual fit. Baaaaaaaaaaaasically, I'm in the area where I don't feeeeeeel right clicking yes but you can probably consider each of those options as a +1 to the overall count for yes... on the conditions I've said of cooooooooourse. I'm just an overly cautious butt who's in charge of a sub-forum so... kinda need to consider what I do and say a biiiiit more carefully. Hopefully you understand that lol.

Tempest, Gale, Azegeor, Solomon. 1st day of the 1st month, Year of Rebirth. Approximately 4:00 PM "Where are you Azegeor? I'm getting bored here." Tempest danced around the now empty room. Well empty of life anyway, corpses littered it from wall to wall. She almost reveled in that fact. So many guards taken out in such a small time. She knew the bomb would be a good gambit to pin her hopes on, but this good? She couldn't have dreamed it be this effective. Guess that's what happen when you cram them all into a small stone tube, A shockwave was only more effective in a small space. She then heard the clanking of a wooden stave. The rattling of bones and beads cascading down the hall came forward. A Lich in a brilliant robe the colour of the night sky came into view. Finaaaaaaaaaaaaally. "What took you so long?" "Look... it's a lot harder to get away from those places then you think Tempest." "Azy, I'm booooooored. You need to hurry up." the storm elemental said as she twirled the wind around her. She played with the winds much like her hair or something another person would do. Something to keep her hands form being idle. A clear sign of boredom. "Midsummer, my job is not to entertain you. " Azegeor fixed her a stern look. He used a part of her full name on purpose. He knew she hated it. So, if he was doing it he was making damn certain she was paying attention. "We have a job to do. Now, lose yourself. I've got to let you in." "I told you to never call me that Azegeor!". She said pouting. She was clearly not paying attention to anything he aid as she was more angry at what he had called her than had the time to pay attention. It was an annoying fact of dealing with Tempest. Emotional swings were much more important to her than other things. They captured her mind pretty easily. After all the only two parts of her being were Fire and Ind. Mind and emotion. So, it was easy for her spirit or emotions to take over. The turbulent storm of emotions was mostly what drove the woman. It was frustrating at times. "Look, it's nothing we can worry about now. Yell at me later, we have things to do." "Okay, okaaay. I'll be sure to later. Now, we have a king to make! You'll look so cute in a crown.~" ((writing a scene for Lotus. Giiiiimme a biiiiiit.))

Regent and Hasslehoof. Time: 1st Day, of the 1st Month, of the Year of Rebirth. Approximately 3:00 PM "Alright then! LET US BEGIN!!!" The Minotaur exclaimed as he bowed deeply. A long and drawn out bow at that. At the end of it he quickly jumped into action and began his dance. He was following the music that the Ballroom was giving them thus far. So... since it was in the middle of a slow dancing song this would be a tactical battle. One of slow pace. At least for now. Hasslehoof waltz around as if dancing with a partner, though his partner for now was a ghost. He did all the proper flourishes and what not as if he was really ballroom dancing. It was... a strange sight to behold. He kept dancing around waiting for not only Regent to begin dancing himself, but for the Drake to take the first move as well.

Mayanna's Group "I think it would be fun. Good luck kid." Drake added. She would love to watch a battle or two before having to do something like this challenge. It wasn't per say that she didn't want to, since she could probably pull it off, but whynot get the chance to not have to even bother? And if he lost they didn't really lose anything themselves. Well, other than his ego being inflated insufferably. But, she probably would never have to deal with this kid any day other than today, so she didn't really care. However if he did lose, it'd be pretty funny. She didn't want to say that aloud since it was a little rude, though the kid was kinda insufferably annoying so she really wanted to. Either way Emberly was confident she'd be fine either event that occurred. She was good at identifying patterns and following motion in a battle situation. It was one skill she was actually decent at. So, she prided herself on her ability to do so. After all, it was what let her see what Treble needed to do in his first battle. She could tell her opponent was trying to defeat her by catching her off-guard. It was at least, noticeable to her. She had a lot of practice with it herself.

Pokemon Se7en - Currently on hiatus
Raindrop Valkyrie replied to Tomas Elliot's topic in Fan-game Exposé
lol, yea Zim makes all the artwork so... in some part he's responsible for their visual design pretty much always XD. But Kookabully is one of my little guys. One of the few actual Evo lines I made XD. There's a few of them but they tend to be later on, or standalones so yea a lot more of mine are hiding out there in the universe. Might be a bit until you guys get to see them XD. -

Should mention since no one else did this was a line designed by... well. ME! XD. SO I think this is like the second one of mine that was revealed now. So, yes... I guess I made both the Pidgy and the Spearow. Oops? XD. But yea I pretty much came up with their rivalry as something when I was first designing them. Zim did quite the wonderful job bring the two to life that's for sure. I still think they are some of the more interestingly designed ones I came up with just since they add a somewhat interesting take on Regional Birds ((I feel at least.)). So, I definitely hope you guys like the lines. They were pretty fun to design. ((weirdly... I think I designed like... probably more Bird related lines than any other type of Creature or thing. So... that's interesting XD.)) So yea, enjoy the Hukuna mon... since it'll probably be forever until another is revelaed... if at all. SInce most of the remaining ones of mine are stand alones. -
Tempest, Gale Time: 1st Day, of the 1st Month, of the Year of Rebirth. Approximately 3:00 PM "Reinforce the doors! Don't let whatever that is through! We must protect Solomon!" yelled the Falconman to his guards. Men in all sorts of armour scattered in all directions. Many piecing up large pieces of wood and other things to use as cover and setting them up in the long hallway of the Throat of the Castle. They had not seen their foe but they clearly heard the surprise of their now fallen comrades. They only really had enough time to warn them before they were gone in an instant. As a result... Gale had no idea how many they were dealing with. Though he was about to find out. Gale heard a mechanical clicking. Was coming from outside the door. or was he imagining it? "Jenson, do you hear that?" he asked the man closest to the area he thought he heard it coming from. The man looked at him for second puzzled and then it dawned on him too/. "You mean that clicking? Do you know what it is Gale?" "I have no idea, but I really don't like it." The last words spoken before an explosion tore through the fortified door of the Throat. High Velocity shrapnel fell forward followed by a cloud of black powder and death. The Shockwave amplified in the small area, and it caused a huge amount of damage. Jenson was outright killed as well as 4 other guards nearby. Gale fond himself floored behind one of the barricades. He had been lucky as none of the shrapnel has hit him, but a lot of the others not so much. One unlucky Goblin had a splinter the size of a small spear through his abdomen. He was screaming bloody murder. He tried to remove it, but couldn't since he was impaled onto one of the barricades. There was more crimson and death around in the charred, blasted room. Gale got to his feet, quickly. He had to move. He huffed horribly as he tried to move. While he wasn't gravely injured the bomb had kncoked the wind out of him and has sent him tumbling over the one of the barricades. His legs were filled with the red hot liquid pain. But he didn't have time to care. "FALL BACK!!! FALL BACK TO THE HEART!!!" He issued the order. He desperately headed for the Heart himself. Whoever, they were facing had yet to show up. At least before him and his men. He didn't have time to get all the soldiers that were downed by the Explosion and just kept moving. He had to seal off the Heart. There was nothing that could take down that door. The warding magic on it would keep an explosion like that from working. *********************** 1.... 2... Hehe 3. Tempest counted as she danced through the guards still left after the explosion. Poor souls. They should've wished to parish in the flames of destruction. However... she supposed they would get to see the Wind of death this way. She moved with grace impossible to that of one with a physical body. Most of her own was made up of raging storms and wind. She was a turbulent mind given form. She surged around destroying those that still remained. Her blades of wind stained with red. She dropped them when she didn't need them anymore, the solid wind falling away, leaving crimson in it's place. Tempest had worked her way finally, towards the giant sealed door. The one that held the Heart of the castle. She smiled, a horrible arc of lightning across her storming face, cyan blue. "Soon. Soon. If you think that door will protect you... you're sorely mistaken. hehehe HEHEHE!" The macabre laughter, the only thing that was heard though the door.

You know. I'm just done posting statuses if people are going to keep playing the "be so literal to try and ruin Hukuna's status" game. Seriously, you're not funny and I really don't appreciate it. Cause you know... I'm not sure why everyone thinks it's super fun to take the piss of everything I ever do. Am I just a joke for everyone else's amusement? Cause that's what it feels like sometimes. You know... I'm a person too, and I do spend time writing...

Silence. The Loudest Sound that does not exist. For it's the sound of loneliness, the sound of naught but the dead of night... or even death itself. Silence in it's own way the death of sound. As soon as it ceases, the air filled with the silence.

It's the simplest of gestrures that are the most meaningful. While grand ones are nice, it's the "Good Mornings!", the greetings, the small talk, the small jokes, compliments, etc that matter. The everyday. Since while a grand gesture takes more time it doesn't remind someone everyday what you love about them. It's taking the time to say hello, that lets someone know you care. At least, it's what I feel.

Lotus Contiello, Countess Sybil Contiello, Count Heinrich Contiello, Azegeor, Lord Cyllis, Redeemer Riika, Father Babble, Barbara, Iidrra, Look, a lot of people ok? Time: 1st Day, of the 1st Month, of the Year of Rebirth. 3:00 PM Babble at first froze. He was still in a bit of a reclusive mood since his earlier conversation went a bit awry. He still wasn't sure if Riika was angry at him or if he offended them. Normally, he wouldn't really care but this was someone he was to work with. That and he didn't know they could hear him. Though, with how close Riika was he should've known better. But for now it was this new person speaking with him. Barbara didn't answer right away. She asked Babble first, that and she knew if she did Babble would continue to clam up and not talk at all. So, she just watched as it unfolded. "Hmmm, I dunno. But, the roast is quite divine. I don't think we've had this good a roasted beef in some time. I think the new chef is doing wonders. She's better at handling meat than anyone I know!" Babble said. The innuendo was definitely lost on him. Cannonball Joe barely stifled a giggle at the choice of words. The others didn't really pay attention and were minding their own business and talking amongst themselves. "She really is quite capable, I should make her my personal chef. Because all this good food MUUUUST BE MIIINE!!!! *ahem*, sorry, I'm getting off track. What were we talking about again?" "Lotus asked you about what foods you would recommend Honey." the babysitter reminded him. She had a faint smile on her face, she was glad he was talking again. "Oooooh, right. Thanks Barb. Where was I? Oh yea." Babble stumbled again before regaining his footing. "But, I believe that once you finish with the more... normal part of your dinner dessert will be what you set your eyes too. Well, desserts I know well! I always wanted to be a baker, but I was never really good at it myself. after all... it's kinda hard to not get bits of myself in the batter being made of slime and all." Babble chortled at his little misfortune. He really did speak the truth. Baking was simpler than this whole... Priest thing. In this job he had to deal with people. People were complicated. They hurt his head at times. He never really knew what to do with them how to act and react. What he did know was that working with things, creating, that was easy. They didn't have complicated emotions to deal with. They didn't have feelings. And it wasn't that he didn't care that people had them... it was that he could never keep track of all that stuff. He was always afraid he'd stick his foot in his mouth. Then he wondered what it would be like to have an actual foot... cause he didn't. Then he wondered why that saying was so strange. "But, I really like these." He said pointing to something on the table. It seemed to be the most out of place item here. There was so many fancy things in this spread, and the most unassuming thing was what he pointed to. It was a type of pastry for sure, but of what kind was unknown, at least to Lotus of course. It had the distinct look of caramelized sugar crusting it's brilliant outer shell. It was a nice and beautiful golden brown. "Barbara made these, because she knows I like them. They are called Dream Pockets. Silly name I know. But, they are a pouch o pastry typically mixed with many different types of fruit or really anything sweet. While they are baking them, they put a small leaf from a certain flower into the mix with the other fruit and things. The tradition is, that if you are eating it and you don't bite into the leaf that your most dreamed dream will come true. Like a wish! It's not really true. It was a story invented by the Manaket so that the children wouldn't burn their tongues and would eat it more slowly. I still like the story though. And it's pretty fun to try and play." Babble picked at his pocket and brought out a small good luck charm. If Lotus looked close she would've noticed that little leaves were pressed into it, almost the whole surface was covered in them. They were pressed much like one would do between the pages of a book to preserve them. "I win a lot." It was said with an accompanying grin the size of the moon. On the other side of the table Azegeor looked to the empty two seats of the Table. The Commander of the Night's guard had yet to arrive. Normally, it would be troubling, but for Azegeor it was a good sign. It meant the plan was falling together. "I suppose Gale has gotten tied up. He's usually early. I think I will go grab our Little Commander of the Night. Hopefully he didn't fly south for the Winter and that's why he's late. I shall excuse myself. Please, enjoy the meal." were the only words he said as he left. Cannonball Joe was rolling with laughter at the joke. To the point Cyllis was scowling at him. It looked like his head would explode. "Goooood one Azegeor. He's a bird... flying south. HAAHAA." "Glad you liked it Joe." Azegoer said with as much of a smile as a skull could muster. Though, anyone else in the room ((even Babble)), could tell he was only pretending to be nice just by the inflection of his voice. He walked out, his boots clacking on the hard enameled floor. The staff he had jingled with the sound of tiny bells and beads. It was rather... tribal in nature. Strange for a Wizard. They typically didn't believe in the more spiritual beliefs of Shaman or those that believed magic was "alive" so to speak. ((Didn't expect other posts so fast so I'll jsut do a new post.))

Vixen After all, she had anticipated an attack coming. Ones that followed an element were typically unoriginal. Lightning was always fast nothing else. She sighed. It was really sad that it was that easy to predict. Then again, someone like her had been fighting magus so long that they rarely could surprise her anymore. She had seen it all at this point, or at least most of it. Fire, lightning, ice, any conceivable element. She had seen ones with things that resembled super powers the like... of comic books and movies. All she knew though, was that she had seen mostly everything. Whether from afar or up close and personal. Honestly the beasts were typically more varied than the Magi were. Vixen always found that odd. However, she still needed to focus to defeat this man. She was pretty sure her victory would be easy enough, but overconfidence was not something to have right now. Vixen... she wasn't even sure she had to beat him. Just fight him. With his metaphor he only mentioned that they must speak with battle or... whatever. However her pride told her she couldn't lose. Losing, just wasn't her style. She dodged the blade flying her way, stepping quickly back a single step. She had given herself just enough room to do that. As the blade whistled past she dove underneath with one of the two icy knives cutting at the underside of his arm aiming for the tendon. after all, it was hard to wield a sword without your arm working properly. It was a bold move, but it was a calculated one. You couldn't hit someone with a sword if they were behind your sword. She knew she had to make use of this advantage and get within his range. She had the information on how fast he could move now, so she could adjust for that. It was time to make a move of her own and see how he'd react.

Mayanna’s group "Heh, I'm always one for a challenge. It's my specialty so I'd much prefer it." Drake said. She stood up straight, somehow seeming taller than ever before as she pushed her fist into her open palm. She laughed heartily. She'd have more fun this way. Besides, it is what her, Whisper, and Treble were training for after all. Drake cracked her neck. "I'd not mind whatever, but I'm itching for a fight and have been aaaaaaall morning. So, it'd be nice to blow off some steam for sure." Drake did know her Pokemon didn't really have a super great advantage over Dragons, however, they didn't really have one over her either. So, it was a pretty even playing field. However, what she did have was superior training and well, her. At least she figured. However the Dragon could be used by another Trainer now that she thought of it. However, she knew that she was on the road to be the best trainer there ever was. So, she would definitely be fine. Especially if she could use both Treble and Whisper. The two were working beautifully as a team. Whisper seemed so much more confident with the little Rock lizard by her side. They made a great team and they supported each other very well. It was the fruit of great effort and it was certianly worth it. Emberly jsut hoped she'd get to show it off spectacularly.

Pretty much what you said there. and na, Clarity is good. This is something I don't think has been done here too much so, it's good to be clear as possible lol. So, no worries about a lot of questions. I'd rather you ask a lot of questions, then be content to not ask any and then be confused later down the line since you waited to ask when it becane a problem. So, no worries man.

Yea, I was tired while writing that. And will probably remove that section. Oops? I think my brain thought, "But, what if they aren't used to this and might get upset and stuff if people come along unannounced etc?" to which my brain said "Make a failsafe at fiiiirst." Basically... I think what I was saying is... don't get too crazy all the time with inserting yourself places and know that if a player asks that like something not be messed with for the time being it can be rolled back etc.((I'll use my best judgement, as the host after all.)) However, otherwise it's open game. ((well don't flip flop a character between people in the middle of a scene either cause that is maaad confusing. Like, any of the minor NPCs in the Dinner right now... people should leave to me because I am already writing them.know what they might do or are planning to do in that scenario while it's unfolding. However, after those NPCs will be free game.)) Basically forget that part, but know that there will be a bit of etiquette things around it. It's a big responsibility I'm leaving out there XD. We might step on a few toes here and there, buuuuuuut, I think it'll be worth it in the long run to figure it out. Basically, not going to baby you guys. All Minor NPCs are in the Minor NPC pool. ((no matter whoooo made them.)). They can be picked up and dropped by anyone when neeeeded. They are more story telling devices etc... than full characters so to speak. Remember to try and understand what someone else is doing or trying to do and when it might be a good time to jump in or a bad time etc... We're diving in pretty deep here and I'm not holding hands so... swim or drown. But, what I'm looking for is that we help each other enhance scenes etc.. rather they are building blocks in the world to build up the lore and the richness around the Castle and it's denizens. They aren't owned and aren't allowed to be owned by any PC, unless they'd become their new PC. forfeiting their old one.Basically, Minor NPCs will be communal characters. Basically, that last part was there cause I wasn't sure if I needed the saftey net or not. I deemed I don't really need it and that you folks should be able to handle the waters lol. So, if there's anything I need clarfiy more just ask etc... I'll try and help.

"Welcome to the end of eras, Ice has melted back to life. Done my time and served my sentence, Dress me up and watch me die. If it feels good, tastes good, It must be mine. Dynasty decapitated, You just might see a ghost tonight. And if you don't know now you know... I'm taking back the crown! I'm all dressed up and naked. I see what's mine and take it! (Finders keepers, losers weepers). Oh yeah!!! The crown... So close I can taste it, I see what's...
-
A quick side-note for those particpating in this Rp, NPCs that are created are going to be more or less communal characters that we all use or can slot into scenes to add to them without perhaps needing our own characters being there 100% of the time. ((only the authority memebers in the Castle I have to run since... well I don't want that much power within the hands of players quuuuite yet XD.)) But, I'm going to start keeping small sheets on each NPC that is made. Small personality notes for each, relationship notes ((like who they know and a short blurb on the context of that.)) and stuff like that. This also means that players may create NPCs to be added to the pool for use. So, for example. With Hasslehoof... any of you guys could've made that character be a thing, even Murdoc himself. Something I want make sure is super clear here is that NPCs are a bit more open to use by players in this RP. The ones within the pool can be picked up by anyone more or less and will not be owned by anyone in particular. ((especially after this intro section.)). I want this RP to be a much... different experience than others and I think this is one way to do it, by allowing players more freedom in controlling things within the world and being able to shape the world just as much as I, the host am. I'm taking more of an Apocalypse World, or Dungeon World approach than a Dungeons and Dragons one in this regard. Together, we, are all players that are forming the parts of the narrative etc together. I'll be honest. I know little about this world. But, that's by choice. I want the rest of your to help me build it. This is one example of such a thing. We are building the world together, not jsut me in this little project. And yea, that might be a bit scary at first, but don't be afraid to dip in and get your feet wet. I'd highly suggest trying it out now and getting used to it. Flexing your muscles and stretching your skills to get used to this part of the RP. Cause later on, well a lot of this will be possible. Also, if you want to have an NPC in a scene directly ask Ivna in the thread ((part of what she is for, as well as asking me if one gets stuck to throw something their way lol.)) or ask here in the OOC if someone will pick them up and RP them out with you. Don't be afraid to ask for others to participate in your scene etc... and don't be afraid to insert NPCs in place you think will be interesting. ((though ask in here first maybe.)) I'm allowing a looooot more freedom in these regards. The only characters that are off limits are people's express PCs or certain NPCs I deem Important. ((they will be listed in the Major NPC index.)) On the newest update from me. I'm working on it. No worries~

[Pokemon Rejuvenation] Good moveset for Houndoom?
Raindrop Valkyrie replied to Cool Girl's topic in Rejuvenation
I will imagine this is for In-game, so I'll give a few highlights. Though if this is Reborn keep in mind that Megas are not available at this stage in the game and probably won't be until endgame ((which is a long while out.)) Sucker Punch. Houndoom has a decent enough attack stat to use this move for a good priority and hits for okay damage. ((bit lacklustre if not somewhat invested.)) Destiny Bond can be used to take down something with you while on low health since It moves at a decent speed to use it. ((on non-mega Doom be wary though since you're a lot slower.)) Sludge Bomb could be used for Fairies, though it wouldn't really do much else so... I'd be careful with that one. Nasty Plot, good for setting up to do a niiiice chunk of damage. HP Grass, ((for outside of sun grass moving XD. I still don't reccomend that much though. the grass coverage is meh...)) Will-o-Wisp, Helps make up for Houndoom's lacklustre defense by a lot and allows it to cripple threats. Taunt, In game probably not as useful, but reeeeally good for Wall-Breaking and keeping big fat Special soakers from healing. Fire Blast is much better for power, while Flamethrower is better for repeated usage. That's prefer for in-game by far. I'd personally use Fire Blast, especially on Regular Doom who could really use the power boost. Dark Pulse is a pretty strong Option for a Special dark type move. On foul play... it's not very effective on Houndoom. THe issue with it is really that Houndoom just likes to wallbreak and fight mons that don't have high attack stats. ((cause a lot of mons with high attack stats are Fighting Type and have Guts... A LOOOOT.)) It's just a really awkward move on it at times. It does have it's uses it's just very niche. Especially due to how lacklustre Houndoom defense stat is. He really doesn't want even a chance to get hit by a stray physical attack. If you want Solar Beam, run Sunny Day on your Houndoom along with Dark Pulse and Fire Blast. Dark Pulse jsut will more often than not do more for you than Foul Play ever will. ((as Solar Power boosts it, but not Foul Play.)) -
Welp.

Well... I can tell I'm probably going to love this new CHampion already. ((apparently League needed a smug as hell Dragon. You know... I can't say they are wrong XD>))
