  1. The two nail-like structures quiver for a moment, then snap together, meeting at an awkward angle. The barrier sparks, almost angrily, but doesn't dissipate. However, this may not be the thing to pay attention to at the moment. . . A portal opens up in the sky, and three creatures drop out, landing near the opening that looks out over the castle. (source) They seem to glare menacingly at the group despite their lack of eyes, beginning to circle around the group. Three more drop in from the sky near the path cut off by the now-sparking barrier and begin to do the same. (BGM) Initiative Status:
  2. specify that thunder weakness is 2x i know it's not how the games work but you can probably combine tarukaja and rakukaja into one action and just make it select a stat dekunda might work better as a full cleanse on a shorter cooldown, or start out removing more debuffs; current precedent is a level 2 heal removing one debuff in addition to the heal skewer should have a short cooldown session we've discussed; i may nerf the damage on it later. depends on how often it ends up going off, really. other than that you're good to go, i'll say complexity 4 for now as for noir's character... your basic defense isn't a basic i'm not a fan of having starting gear granting additional actions in the first place every moment matters is a bit weak; crits can do double damage i'm really confused by how the acts work in general because you seem to have included passives in them+you don't actually get them all until level 16 distance isn't really a thing so that action is useless but yeah this character is just... really weird and i'd like to see one that fit more into an RPG paradigm than a MOBA one

I know a Kagari, she is one of the other fighters in the grand tournament in Tempest, and she has the same family name as you too."

A blast of static bombards the group as the figure known as the Hellfire Knight visibly sighs. "I don't know what's happening right know; this plane is really strange. If you really need a short form of my name, say HK."
  6. The cloaked figure looks somewhat frantically between the large man and Kagari. "I-I'm not a cosplayer, I'm the Hellfire Knight! And you're the Seventh Favored, LOLI_HUNTER! We met during the tournament, you told me. . . Nevermind, why are you wearing that?"
  7. ((The moisture levels are actually fairly high; it seems to have rained recently, and places like this are often among the last to dry out.)) "As I said earlier, I am the Hellfire Knight. Fourthmost favored of the seven planes and favored of the Fourth God. . . wait." Their head shakes rather abruptly and then angles straight toward Kagari. "なに!? What?! But how are you here? And why are you in a swimsuit?!?" As Katsuo moves toward the path, he's interrupted. Strange, twisted-looking pillars of rock, almost looking like nails carved all over with symbols and terminating a head above eye level for most, fall from the sky, one landing in the center of each opening and the others sidling up alongside the walls. A translucent, red barrier consisting of similar symbols forms up as he approaches, sparking if touched. The area seems to darken, and an ominous air descends... The Hellfire Knight is still freaking out about the swimsuit, though.
  8. ((Yes, you have your equipment.)) The cloaked figure turns to face the boy with headphones. "I am the Hellfire Knight," the artificial voice crackles simply.
  9. most characters don't have a dodge roll to boost (again, everything is autohit by default) 1d12+int+syn is reasonable for a perk-backed action, though you can probably take off some/all of the penalties
  10. The shoulders of the figure droop. "I see. I guess taking the path sounds like a good idea." The figure turns toward it and takes a few hesistant-looking steps. There's the occasional gear or other unidenfitiable bit of machinery sticking out, but not really anything else of note in the chasm.
  11. The masked figure walks a few steps toward the center. "So nobody knows where we are?" It's difficult to get an impression of any emotion through the voice changer as the mysterious individual speaks.
  12. Upon closer inspection, the break in the cliffs toward the ruins shows that the ground ends there; there's quite the drop between you and any potential path from the castle, though it's not so far down as to be totally impassable if one went about it carefully.
  13. A heavily cloaked figure rises from one side of the area. It comes up unsteadily, and seemingly almost toppling over before it rights itself. Its hunched, and the proportions seem slightly off. "Where is this?" a grating, clearly artificial voice sounds from beneath the hood.
  14. Pluck hurts his hand a little. He does manage to hit one of the massive gears, but it looks like it might take a bit more work to actually move it.
  15. There doesn't seem to be much of immediate use, other than the other people there. It looks like there's a bit of old machinery embedded in the cliffs further up, but it's clearly rusted from disuse.
  16. You awaken on cold, flat ground - rock? Yes, it's rock, of a somewhat odd bluish tone, but rock nonetheless. Around you, sheer cliff faces rise up jaggedly, choking the amount of sunlight that reaches you. The place you're in seems roughly circular; there's two breaks in the natural walls around you. One of them seems to lead up some sort of path; you can't tell whether it's natural or not. The other is the main source of the light that does reach you; there's a strange, ominous castle in the distance, but you can tell even from this distance that it's crumbling as time grinds at it. You vaguely remember going about your life - whether it was mundane or heroic - before something spoke to you; something about it needing help, and then you woke up here. Looking around, there are several others in this place; maybe they know more?
  17. solomon: equipment is ok if slightly weak. ahead by a single page is ok but be aware that attacks are autohit in this system and dodges are generally based on a d100 so +1 to the roll is near meaningless beware my might is super weak and it should be a lot stronger for the penalties it carries
