  1. "Hah, I knew you'd come around!" She turned to face Maris. "Now, pay for treading on dignity and justice! Take this!" She did a spinning leap into midair, having her back toward her foe momentarily, until she flipped over, bow knocked, and loosed the arrow while upside down.
  2. "Criminals? You scum of the King are the real criminals here! Your oppressive regime will fall, starting here!" She shot a glance at Meredith as she drew closer to the heart of the fray, seeing Luka start to move as well. Lecture me all you want about these being people, they chose the wrong side and now they stand in our path. Whether they deserve to die or not, they have to for us to put an end to this. Q6, strike a heroic pose
  3. Gabriel took the hand and shook it, taking care to do it lightly; no one would be anticipating an iron grip from him, ideally. He had scribbled a few notes as Lerodoch had explained the ideas, and he set the notepad in front of himself with the pen laid across it before answering. "I'm Gabriel, and I came here from Avalon Academy. Marblegate is interesting so far, it's a lot different from home." A small part of him still felt a guilty twinge at lying to the students, but he had no real alternatives to doing so. "I wonder, what about, say, illnesses people are born with? I know those have always been difficult to truly cure, since technically the body isn't sick; it's just naturally in poor condition, in a manner of speaking."
  4. I like the style. It distinguishes her from the base Artoria, somewhat ironically making her less of a saberface than all the others.
  5. "I'm Gabriel. You guys are talking about using blood magic for healing and stuff?" A bit close to home, that. Though, if they have found ways to utilize it for cures, perhaps there is hope. . . "I haven't heard of that before." He leaned forward interestedly, not having to feign his excited attitude. "I mean, there are cures that target or work through the blood, but using actual blood magic to heal people? That's intriguing, although it does sound kinda dangerous. . ." Heh, I can't tell whether this is going to make it harder or easier to keep up the act. Hopefully they get caught up in the discourse, rather than questioning why such a child knows so much already.
  6. "The goddess's fury sweeps over our foes like a righteous river of holy fire, and we are the conduits! Now, feel her wrath!" V6, SOARING ARROW OF RIGHTEOUS INDIGNATION THAT CAVALIER
  7. Move to Z5, Shoot Soldier 1 (after everyone gets out of the way) "See, Meredith! The goddess is at our sides, guiding our blows! And speaking of, HAAAIIYAH!"
  8. 7/10 Something looks off about the left, though.
  9. A goddess that gathers up misfortune and takes it unto herself, a kind soul mistaken for a bearer of ill omens. . .

  10. Relating to Hina here a bit more than usual, lately.

  11. Gabriel skimmed the shelves and picked one with a likely-looking title - something about healing charms - and quietly settled into the nearest available chair, listening intently to the conversation in an attempt to piece together what the discussion was about and whether he could contribute. He acted somewhat shy, eyes downcast, as befitted someone so 'young' trying to interact with his elders.
  12. Gabriel nods at the suggestion. "Yes please!" Damn, it's older students. That will draw unwanted attention. No matter; pretending to be a prodigy should not be too difficult. He proceeded up the stairs, frowning slightly. Something just isn't right about this whole mission. The briefing was scant and the 'team' barely deserves the name. As he ploddes up the stairs, he withdrew a small notepad and pen and scribbled a few questions on it, to prepare for the discourse.
  13. "Nice work, but now I'll show you all what the Goddess's chosen champion can do! Haa- tah!" She took a few steps forward, spun an arrow about in her off hand, then nocked, drew, and fired in one smooth motion. Y3, SHOOT YE SWORDUDE
  14. Gabriel greeted the woman with a sunny smile of his own. "Hi, I'm here to meet all the other students and stuff for the big magic meeting! Did anyone else get here yet, or did Dad drop me off early?" A good part of his demeanor was actually genuine; the older building inspired him with a deep sense of nostalgia. Of better times, a faintly remembered but just as warm period where he was as carefree as he looked. . . But that's been done with for too long. I can only hope that my sister was able to carry on. He had to catch himself before his expression slipped to melancholy.
  15. By the way, in my head, Hoshiko's crit animation is doing a flip and firing while she's upside down in midair, like the Adventurer kill animation in Fates.
  16. "Just don't snap at me like that again." She closed her eyes once again and inhaled deeply, trying to relax herself again. This was shaping up to be a true trial, but she refused to let one day slow her down. They had much further to go, after all.
  17. Gabriel nodded, and turned toward his destination. He started to go over his knowledge of healing charms and such in his head, particularly trying to refresh himself on the more esoteric incantations. I do wonder what kind of motivation a person would need to strike someone down at something like this. This sort of thing isn't political, it's for the benefit of all. Well, most. I highly doubt that anyone here can assist me in my particular plight. . . No matter. I'm here to catch another killer. He briefly wondered at the thoughts of those he passed on the street; a boy, walking alone and beneath a broad, dark parasol in fine clothes - what could he be up to?
