  1. Immediately upon the bell ringing, Shou crouched slightly, then kicked upwards off the ground, moving upward and backward away from the opposing team. He flew in a smooth arc, which made him easy to track - but the enemy team lacked a bombardment mage, and not having to dodge about meant he could land his own shots with much greater ease. He set his sights on Leivinia first, taking aim and beginning to gather energy for a shot.

  5. Heavensea gingerly climbed down into the elevator, following the others that had already done so while avoiding the corpse. Before dropping into the elevator proper, she spoke to Symphony. "This was luck. Anyway, I asked you if you could call the Ballad and let them know that there's a lot of dead pirates here, and we're not responsible for any of them." Before the Nienian could reply, she dropped the rest of the way down into the elevator, landing next to Millennium rather than letting him catch her. Upon seeing the three survivors, she flattened herself against one wall with alacrity. She patted one a particular spot on her chest before leaning back out to watch them.
  6. I'll honestly just cut out the bit about time entirely. I can still do most of what I planned, albeit with somewhat harder justification in some cases.
  7. The idea with the second character is that she wouldn't have much experience using the power at all, much less fighting using it. Also, the time bit was more a few seconds forward or backward, not big leaps unless something really unusual was happening - much like how the teleportation would only be a few feet, not jumping across the city or somesuch. Still, if you don't want any messing with time at all, I can scrap or rework the power.
  8. With my luck this month, someone's gonna steal my nendroid before it even gets to the US.

  9. Alistar [12:23]: why didn’t you help me? Graves [12:30]: did you see how far up the lane you were, with that build? Graves [12:34]: not even jesus could help you
  10. Not sure whether I want to bring back my old Brailen's Gifted character or come up with a new one. Might submit both sheets, tbh, and make you pick. EDIT: Three WIP sheets. I'm still deciding, though comments on which one looks the most interesting would help me do so. EDIT 2: Picked one.
  11. Heavensea froze when she heard the barrage behind her, turning around slowly to witness the apparent frustration of Symphony and Millennium at the elevator's lack of function. Her ears drooped in resignation, and she placed her hand over her face as she tried to regain her composure for a moment. After a very deep breath, she spoke in a measured tone. "What makes you think that removing the frame and the terminal will change whether the elevator actually functions?"
  12. I could help out with superpower ideas, if you wanted. In fact a big sheet for brainstorming with everyone involved might be good.
  13. to sum up today: FUCK

  14. "Mira has a good point. We should be particularly cautious; I do not believe we can consider this a simple sweep and clear mission any more." Looking around, Heavensea failed to spot any obvious alternatives to the elevators. She turned her head to look at the Nienian in power armor, though the Michi continued to glance about the room occasionally. "We should head back down the other path. Let your partner know we're coming." Her weapon held in front of her at the ready, the ceramic edge faintly reflecting the dim light, Heavensea cast one last look over her shoulder before starting back toward where they had come from. "Symphony, can you get a link with the Ballad? They should know about this."
  15. Heavensea stepped up gingerly, taking care to avoid stepping on or in any blood if at all possible, and put one hand on Symphony's shoulder. "Maybe we should consider a more careful approach?" Her voice was calm, not panicked or afraid. "Whoever killed these two was probably an expert in hand-to-hand combat, judging by the state of these bodies." She glanced back and forth at the corpses again, looking them over. "If rather unhinged, if the excessive manner in which this one was eliminated is any indication. They also left their apparent weapon behind." Withdrawing her hand, she placed it on the handle of her weapon and brought it into a half-ready stance with a final glance at the woman with the knife in her neck.
