  1. I did like Brailen's Gifted, short though it was. I feel like my character wouldn't fit this all that well, though I might join simply because I have an idea for another one.
  2. Just changed wallpapers so I figured I'd update this. What's clutter? Can I eat it?
  3. "Uhm, I'm a member in the anime club, but other than that, no." Sora took his own broom and started cleaning alongside Nicu, working at the dust diligently to try and get over his previous agitation. He was quickly running out of words to say, so he simply tried his best to get the cleaning finished. I guess I don't really like baseball that much, but it might be fun to watch if Nicu is there. As long as I don't run into my old friends. . . it would be so awkward after not talking for so long. He wondered what they thought of him. More importantly, he wondered what Nicu thought of him, what with his constant shyness and conversational flailing. He's being nice, that's a good sign, right?
  4. Sora caught the purse, visibly blushing once again at Nicu's words. "Um, okay, Nicu-kun." That was about as informal as Sora was willing to get. It still felt strange to address someone he'd just met like that, but he was so cute. . . ! He looked down at the purse for a moment. "Ah, I think I'll hold onto it for now." He glanced back up at Nicu with a small smile. "I guess it was silly of me to think you'd know who this belonged to. . ." Ah! He'll think I'm calling him stupid! "N-n-not that it's your fault, of course, it's your first day like you said." I just keep making it more awkward! Maybe I should just stop talking. . .
  5. Now that Hukuna's back from hiatus, I'd like to get a headcount of those that are still willing to play. Arkh already dropped out, but I'm unsure of everyone else's stance. EDIT: Also mentioning once again that we're totally accepting signups for the second war, and that you don't need any Fate or previous roleplaying experience to participate.
  6. FYI, the entire list wasn't nutjobs. . . but this guy definitely is, if you can't tell.
  7. Vixen "The sword is METAPHORICAL! Before I inform you on your mighty quest we must COMMUNICATE IN THE LANGUAGE OF BATTLE! Only then can we truly know and trust one another!" He managed to gesticulate wildly while still maintaining his increasingly ridiculous looking pose while shouting at the top of his lungs. It was almost a feat of endurance. "Now, you shall KNOW the FURY of the thunder upon the wind, the lightning that blasts the trees, the KNIGHT of STORMS. HAVE AT THEE!" With that, he finally broke the pose, leaping at Vixen in an overhand strike, the blade he was holding crackling with electricity. Dexter Astros looked at the boy for a moment, scanning his body, assessing his feelings. "There's no real incorrect answer. Both factions have their troubles. . . though I'd trust Noriko over Haruto, personally, so I would be inclined to agree with your choice. That boy. . . there's something wrong with him, I think." The cat hopped down off of the chair and moved to the window that he had come in. "This should serve as both good training and to get you to your destination. I will broadcast my presence to you, and you should be able to follow me. It might be easier to do so if you transform - that will additionally make it less difficult to match my pace. Just, how would I say it, reach out with your third eye? The same way that you might reach into yourself to transform, try to reach outward toward me." Astros looked Dexter in the eye, and the boy would have felt a strange pulse, something pressing against his consciousness, before the Mediator broke eye contact and the sensation faded. "That should be enough to familiarize yourself with my distinct energy, for now." With that, he turned and hopped down off of the window. "Do try to move quickly," his voice echoed from outside. "One can never know what stalks the night."
  8. I haven't seen Grizzlybrand around. . . And totally haven't procrastinated on Hukuna's update, nope, I would never do something like that. (This should be up within the next half hour or you're allowed to claim my sanity as a prize or something.)
  9. Sora picked up the purse, examining it. It probably had money or something inside, but it wouldn't be very nice to just take it. . . Either way, he didn't really recognize the bag. He looked around at the rest of the gym. The other girls were nowhere in sight, leaving Nicu as the only person to talk to. Ah, I hope I don't blush~ It would be really embarrassing if I got all worked up just talking to him. Sora grabbed the bag and somewhat hesitantly walked toward the bleachers where the boy sat. "Um, Daniel-san, do you know whose this is?" Sora asked, holding out the purse in front of himself. "I found it behind the bleachers, so it must be a student's or something. . ."
  10. 6/10 It looks alright but I've never really been a Sonic fan.
  11. "So, uh, Jin, what are you planning on doing? Dave won't be a problem - I have spells that are specialized for breaking down barriers - but whoever isn't engaged with Liliana is going to make it hard for me to bombard properly." His expression was, as usual, unreadable, though if one was paying attention his breathing would have seemed almost too measured. In, and out, in a rhythm that lacked even natural variance.
  12. Heavensea ignored the jibe as she was already sprinting down the tunnel after Symphony, her naginata held in one hand. Her bulky clothing didn't seem to impede her motion at all as she ran. "Symphony, please slow down!" she implored between breaths. That girl is going to get us both killed..! But she's made it this far. The heat was oppressive, and she was grateful that her outfit was a bit cooler than it looked. She only wished that the shield belt about her waist - activated before she disembarked - was just slightly better at keeping the environment out.
  13. Claude's group Kage shrugged. "Sure, whatever." This treasure hunt thing wasn't really his kind of deal, but at least it would be a chance to get some exercise. He really just wanted to interact with the Pokemon they kept on the reserve. He couldn't help but be curious about the big building with the abused dragons, though. Surely there was a way to teach them that not all humans are bad. . .
  14. [13:00:57] %King Murdoc - ⓒⓐⓛⓒⓤⓛⓤⓢ: .helix is Jericho still a scrub though [13:00:57] #BreloomBot: Signs point to yes.

  15. Heavensea's response to Blackseed was interrupted by Symphony's hug, a small "oh" escaping instead. "Observant" might not be one of the girl's qualities, but that obliviousness seemed to make her good at defusing tension - or, at the very least, distracted the Michi from whatever might be causing it. Heavensea patted the idol-to-be with the arm that was currently being nuzzled, then returned her attention to Blackseed. Clearing her throat, she spoke again. "I'm simply confused. Going through the effort to intimidate or antagonize someone you will soon have at your back in combat seems . . . ill-advised, regardless of your opinion of that particular someone." She was intelligent enough not to respond to the deliberate patronization, however.
  16. Heavensea held Blackseed's gaze steadily. The other woman's actions confused her, if only as to the motivation behind them. The display was obviously meant to cow Heavensea, what with the showing off of the weapon that Blackseed's body had been transformed into, but to what end? They were allies, after all - a test of strength? Regardless, the onetime miko was unmoved. She was perfectly capable of defending herself - that, at least, she was confident in. "You know, I've always found it fascinating; many things an animal might do to make itself more look intimidating are actually signs of fear, to the enlightened observer." She said this matter-of-factly, as if she were simply striking up a normal conversation.
  17. It was difficult to maintain a graceful, measured stride when one was nearly pulled off one's feet by an excitable Nienian girl, but the Michi still gave her best effort. Her margin of success was questionable at best, but in the end it didn't matter, as she was still being dragged for by someone shouting at the top of their. . . well, Symphony didn't have lungs, but the point remained. Once they reached the hangar, Commander Kyle spoke and Heavensea nodded at the man's introduction. He seemed like he would be somewhat easier to get along with than the others she had met so far. "I just need to grab one thing," she said in response to Kyle's last statement, and hurried over to the mech she helped pilot. She scaled the ladder propped up against its back and dialed in a quick combination on a panel that seemed to blend with the rest of the exoskeleton until her fingers touched it, which caused a small door to pop out from the body and slide sideways, revealing a storage area. She reached in and carefully withdrew a naginata from the compartment, moving it slowly until it was entirely free of the container, then quickly climbed back downward. She gave the weapon a couple experimental slashes and twirls, then sighed to herself. "The balance is still a bit off, but it should be fine for this mission." Heavensea proceeded into the ship, taking a seat near the back of the space inside. She rested the naginata against the bulkhead behind her, then folded her hands in her lap.
  18. I should probably mention that I've been kind of struggling to find motivation for this one, though. I don't really feel like dropping out quite yet, but I just have no real idea of what to do with Kage. I don't really have much of a plan for him this time around.
  19. Oi, Kenny, this goes for all RPs you're in: you seriously need to try and get a little more content in your posts. One/two-liners are not good unless you're mid-conversation, and even then you can talk about how your character is feeling about the situation and such.
  20. "Well, um, I was hoping you guys could try and keep their melee combatants off of me while I focus on bombardment. I would say that Caster and I are pretty good at nailing down targets," he said hefting his Device over one shoulder as he spoke, "but I won't be able to do that if Leivinia is in my face. I would say that Dave would be annoying too, with his shields, but he doesn't seem to be the most reliable combatant. . ." He said this with a bemused glance at the man, who seemed to have finally regained consciousness but appeared none too happy about his situation.
  21. it's not astolfo so i'm not rolling okay i might roll a little on jack day.
  22. as mentioned earlier, needs more zoom 6/10
  23. Another flash of irritation, though this one being much lower and magnitude and suppressed much more proficiently, showed in a twitch of Heavensea's tail. Still, she was eager to be off. The Michi woman lightly tapped Symphony's shoulder to get her attention. "We're in orbit around our destination." She waited for her partner to move before following Freya at an even, graceful pace.
  24. weh i missed breakfast and won't be able to eat until 12:30 ffffffff

  25. I mean that happens too. It's entirely possible for an innocuous term for one person to be a deeply offensive slur to another. (Ex: there are still plenty of people around that think something like "darkie" is an acceptable way to refer to a black person.)
