And done. @Commander: I thought about having Kage hang out with the coordinators a lot and almost doing the closest thing possible to a dual enrollment, but that idea was scrapped in the first one for a few reasons, one of which should be immediately obvious. -
[IC] Fate/Reborn [First Holy Grail War]

Lancer "Well, the rule among modern magi is that under no circumstances is it acceptable to expose non-mages to any sort of spellcraft unless absolutely necessary. An attack in the open like this would not only draw the ire of the local military, but the Church as well - and you don't upset the Church and survive for long." Noriko looked about, her typical soldier-esque scan of the area continuing even in an activity such as this. Her eyes didn't seem to hold quite their usual hardness, though perhaps that was just a cover as her expression wasn't found on a typical teenage girl in a mall. -
Nagi "I see. I have wondered if we were ever going to take steps to resolve this conflict, what with all the Mediators on edge about something, they won't say what. So, I believe the next step is to determine what a neutral location is; but I'm getting ahead of myself. Since your intentions seem to be genuine, I've been incredibly rude." The white-haired mage stood and offered Nagi a polite bow. "I am Hikaru, and one of the lieutenants of the Preservers, though you may have known this already." After waiting a bit for the woman in front of them to introduce herself, she continued. "I believe I might know who you're talking about, but could you describe the magus further? You or Kindle-san, that is." Dexter The mediator padded out of the building after a few moments, ensuring the area was free of the horror that stalked the city. He came up to Dexter almost silently, and spoke softly. "We should probably give Takeshi his space for the moment. Follow me around the corner, if you will." Astros walked off down the street a short distance, tail swishing in a fairly non-catlike manner. ((Waiting another round to update Vixen.))

Name: Tsukihashi "Kage" Kageharu Age: 14 Hometown: Mossdeep City Program: Breeder Starting side: Student Appearance: Medium-length brown hair, cut short enough that it isn't a pain to manage. Vibrant, cobalt-blue eyes. Slightly shorter than average, with a frame that is similarly a bit light, though well-muscled due to athletic activity. Eyebrows are a bit more prominent than usual and are relatively expressive compared to what one might expect. Has a firm, rather loud manner of speech. Prefers jeans and jackets, though he will dress in pretty much anything and will often end up in eye-wrenching combinations of clothing if no one helps him choose them. Often wears a pair of sunglasses. Personality: Straightforward, disliking overly complex ideas and systems. Neither intelligent nor unintelligent, but hardworking. Kage enjoys social interaction for the most part, though his habits of voicing any complaints immediately tends to put some people off. Not the most charitable type, but always repays anything he considers to be a debt. Stubborn. Starter: Lucas (Ralts, male) Backstory: Extra: If you didn't get it from the backstory, Kage is blind, and this time he's trans. He'll still act pretty much the same, though. -
Do purely biological genderswaps count? (Yes, that's what I'm considering )

Well, without going into detail, there were huge attitude problems involved as well. OT: Originally planned on bringing back Kage, but I'm torn between a few possibilities at the moment (though one in particular could have technically been present the whole time...)

If I may chime in: I don't think a homophobic character would necessarily be a bad thing, IF it was done right, i.e. they don't go running around spouting slurs and throwing shit at the LGBT characters. I think it could actually be somewhat interesting, especially if they were otherwise a "good" character overall. But, as the majority has spoken, this is all just my opinion.

Shou let out a small sigh. This wasn't exactly unusual, but the schedule was still annoying. He had an awful habit of staying up far too late, so morning training rarely worked out well for him. His feelings were offset by getting Hyperion Caster back, though. He clicked the bracelet around his wrist with alacrity, and then held it up close to his mouth. "Run a cursory diagnostic, and report to me once I ask." The boy's request was met with another slightly exasperated sigh, but the device refrained from further comment. After this, he simply looked about at the others for the moment. The questions he did have would likely be answered on the tour.

1. Do you want a to see a reboot or not? If not; do you want to see a complete different story? (Aka no more RoG) Totally up to you. I'd be willing to participate either way. 2. What do you think we should do with the current PCs? I would accept them back but should they also start from scratch? I'd like to bring back my old PC. 3. Last time the battles were a problem. Should we do the separate thread for non plot related battles like we did last time? Eh... I like the idea, but at the same time, the order of events can get really messy when someone's both running an interaction and a battle. IMO they should be kept to the same thread, though perhaps some way to condense them would be good. 4. What do you expect / want to see from this reboot. Hoping for the same kind of excitement and camaraderie we got from the last run, this time with no Author Existence Failure. 5. Anything else you want to let us know. Problems you foresee / suggestions / ... Too tired to suggest atm.

Shou shrugged and turned to walk back to his house without saying anything. What a strange person. At least Dave wasn't offended enough to injure him; even with the other man's bulk, Shou wasn't certain he could slip out of his grasp if he so desired. He briefly wondered about how he would get along with the rest of the task force; none of them seemed particularly hostile at first glance. His mind quickly returned to Hyperion Caster, however. I wonder what kind of diagnostics they're running. Why they couldn't just ask me, I have no idea. Still, maybe this is my chance to get a cartridge system installed, or see if that other mode is even compatible with her systems...

I know this'd be metagaming, but is there anywhere Shou should be? I.e. would the driver know to stop at his house?

I'd be alright with a reboot, though I agree that it should probably go into it's own thread. (Though closing an OOC with three hundred and eighty-seven pages seems like a damn shame.) I liked Kage but at the same time he didn't quite work out the way I wanted him to. He was too nice and not musical enough, and I made far too few dirty jokes with him.
