  1. "I see someone else appreciates the Swagfried." I'm dying

  2. Maybe some Sanson, if I don't use this myself.
  3. Nagi, Kindle "It's fine, Kindle-san, people get hungry." Hikaru's eyes remained fixed on Nagi as they spoke, however. "The kitchen is just through that arch; feel free to grab a snack from the refrigerator or the cupboards. First, though, can you describe Mr. Scraggly to me? I might know who he is. Your friend could do so too, if she wanted." Dexter Takeshi turned his head slightly in Dexter's direction, but didn't look up or rise from his position. "You should leave," he said with a dull, heavy voice. "I can't protect you any longer." Oddly, he stayed transformed, rather than reverting to human form as he usually did once a threat was passed. His hair concealed most of his face as it draped over his shoulders and back, making it even more difficult to try and read his face; though the rest of his demeanor spoke volumes.
  4. lolk hukuna It'll probably be a couple posts before you get another update just for the sake of a semi-consistent timeline.
  5. "Asking you about yourself has only irritated you up to this point; it wouldn't make sense to inquire when you are already distressed." He really hoped that his short explanation didn't pinch any nerves; the topics that set Dave off didn't seem to have any tangible connections, so it was difficult to even speak to him. Or, at least, that's how Shou felt.
  6. I'd totally be game for a more robust "pokemon school" type RP. Both of the ones on here have been pretty good (though one was seriously lacking polish).
  7. Shou reached the restaurant just as Dave returned to it, almost running into the man as they walked in opposite directions. He looked over his companion for a moment. Injured hand, covered in sweat, along with not-unexpected grease stains. Perhaps wisely, he decided to not question the man on his condition; he didn't seem to be the type that appreciated anyone else talking about him. At all. Ever. "Where should we go now?" he asked. They did still have to return to the place somehow. "We could just start walking back, return to where we stopped, go to my house and wait, or attempt to call the base."
  8. New weekly OST, this one's an oldie.

  9. This is mine, except I've gotten a few more exp cards since then. If only the Jeanne was actually mine...
  10. You can literally go and do whatever you want. If "whatever you want" is sit in the room and do nothing and get funny looks from the Diviners then be my guest.
  11. So uh... Anyone planning on posting sometime soon? Only person waiting on an update is Cyaloom, iirc.
  12. 7.8/10 too many ugly NPCs
  13. Lancer Janus would have heard the faint sound of Noriko taking physical form around a corner before she stepped out from around it. "Alright, let's do this. The first order of business is to get me a pair of shoes. I hate the infernal things, but you look strange without them to most people." The thought of having to wear shoes allowed her to hide her excitement about getting new clothing without an issue.
  14. It has an anime style plot with anime-looking MCs. @hiss 8/10
  15. >Not big on anime stuff >Kingdom Hearts quote in signature inb4 "that doesn't count" OT: 5/10, doesn't seem to fit your personality tbh.
  16. Seyr flinched, flapping his wings in a desperate sort of motion as he fought to maintain flight after taking the hit. Flame was not unfamiliar to the species, and his tough carapace was able to absorb the heat better than flesh alone could have, but the fire still bit and stung alongside the shock of something treading into his own domain. It took a moment, but he angled himself in the beast's direction and took a shallow dive, releasing the torrent of energy he had built up in his maw while trying to speed past it, whatever it was.
  17. Shou walked two more blocks before reaching the building in which he lived. His parents wouldn't be home at this time of day, both having their own jobs to attend to. He didn't take long inside; after all, he was only grabbing a set of prepacked clothing and changing into a more comfortable outfit: jeans and a white t-shirt, with an unbuttoned overshirt and his trusty black jacket over it all. A slight improvement in his mood showed on his face, now that the dreaded uniform was safely tucked into a bag at his waist, carried via a strap over his shoulder and across his body. The young mage headed back in the direction of the fast food restaurant, hopefully to his impromptu companion in an improved mood.
  18. Do you judge a man by his friends, or what he does when they have left his side?

  19. Maybe it was best to remain silent. This is why he avoided speaking with people; you never got any sort of consistency. At least he wasn't charging at Shou any more. After they went a couple more blocks, he gestured at a fast food restaurant across the street. "Meet you here," he said, wanting to use the fewest words possible. He then continued his walk down the street with a hurried, uncomfortable gait.
