  1. Man... I really want a TTar for Kage (fits his theme in multiple ways) but a crapton of people plan on one already and it'd be a second pseudo, which starts to smell like powerplay...
  2. 0/10 for confusing Zinogre with Samurott
  3. The beep of the microwave startled Takeshi awake, causing him to awkwardly flop off of the sofa with a thump and a muffled metal clank. He grumbled a bit about his awakening under his breath, but soon returned to his relatively friendly self. "Hey, you guys gotta get up. I like helping out people who are new to this whole thing but you're on my schedule." Standing, he shuffled over to his table, which had three chairs situated around it somewhat haphazardly. There was a straight line from the kitchen to the makeshift dining room, and a few more chairs could be seen stacked in a corner. "Thanks for cooking," he mumbled. Clearly, he wasn't a morning person, evidenced by his dull tone of voice and almost zombie-like motions.
  4. Did anyone say that they wanted a T-Tar? I just realized how perfect a sand team would be for Kage.
  5. Kage laughed again. "Yeah, man, I've got this. Mareek takes himself a bit too seriously, I think. Makes him rigid." He thought for a moment. "Yknow, I wonder. . . I should probably ask a Coordinator for this, but I think I could probably make some sort of flashy light show with Light Screen and Magical Leaf. Playing to my strengths, if you want to put it like that."
  6. The sun rose into clear skies and pleasant weather overall. The air was fresh and the temperature outside was agreeable to just about everyone. Inside a particular apartment building, the light from outside was barely visible as light crept in between the old, neglected buildings. The news still cast a faint bluish glow on those still asleep in the room, however. The teenager who made his home there was still slumped backward across the couch, snoring faintly as he slept in his clothes. His weapon was still draped loosely about him, a reminder of why this group of people was gathered in an abandoned apartment complex.
  7. Lao-Shan armor is mostly dark grays and blacks, and is pretty much samurai armor with horns on the helmet. Makes you look like a daimyo.
  8. Lao set looks cool, though. Can't wait to get my high-rank Zinogre and Shagaru sets though.
  9. Actually forget gemming Handicraft lol thise gems suck
  10. I already got it, I got two gems on my first Dah'ren run. I could probably gem in Handicraft since 9 times out of 10 i eat for HP anyway, the suit has a buttload of slots
  11. seltas is weak unrelated: Been using Gunlance, Dual Blades, SnS, and Switch Axe. Would use Lance but don't have a decent one. How would you rate the Lao set? (Gives Partbreaker. Mind's Eye, and Divine Blessing)
  12. 6.5/10 It's alright, I guess. Not a big fan of creepypasta.
  13. Kage chucked. "So basically, pull something out of my ass that doesn't make any sense. Always works like a charm. I'll try to think of something like that, heh." He flinched for a moment, wondering if Tyron noticed his less-than-respectful language for a moment. He really needed to avoid slipping like that around teachers, he was positive it would land him detention eventually. . .
  14. Basically it's what they specialize in: techniques and etc that are shared between members.
  15. Peacekeepers as mentioned earlier maintain two smaller bases on the edges of Protector and Preserver territory.
  16. Basically, you'll all have a few basic options tomorrow: 1. Hang out with Takeshi, who will help train you if you're new. Also carries a chance to speak with Astros. 2. Go find a faction. 3. Strike out on your own and hunt for monsters and information. Your destinations are: 1. Uptown or the richer part of the city. News reports indicate a spike in suicide rates in the area. 2. The inner city, which is one of the poorer areas and the domain of the Protectors. 3. The slums, the other poor area and where the Preservers hang out. Takeshi's territory is near here. 4. The middle-class residential districts. There are a few Loners around here. 5. The normal commercial districts. More Loners than #4, since there's a bit more unused space and more people pass through regularly.
  17. "Yeah. It's not like I'm here to lose. Do you have any advice, though? I could probably use some strategy tips for this one." Kage was a little put off by Tyron's excessive enthusiasm, but he couldn't say he wasn't excited for the tournament himself.
