    Xavier doesn't really trust them, so he doesn't plan on striking up a conversation. EDIT: Now that I think about it, though, that contrasts the sort of paradoxical characterization I'm going for. . . Disregard my last post.

    Sarcus nodded at Lupus and hurried his way to the clothing storage room. He found some long underwear to put on underneath his pants, and a pair of snow pants to put over them. He also scored a pair of boots that smelled a bit. . . unusual . . . but felt like they were well-worn and sturdy. Like most of the clothing there, all articles were black. For his upper half, he found a warm-looking turtleneck that he could probably squeeze into with a little effort and a pair of gloves. He already owned a pair, but they were fairly thin; while he owned his own winter clothing, it wasn't suited to extended periods outside of shelter, especially with the weather around Snowpoint. A white coat that was slightly too large nearly completed the ensemble, though it was trimmed with fur. Though it was almost certainly fake, it still made him uncomfortable, but warmth was warmth. He topped the outfit off with a bright red scarf wrapped around the lower part of his face. The upper part would be protected by his hood and his fairly thick hair. Idly, he wondered if either of his parents had ever made the trek up to Snowpoint. Not that it mattered now, for a number of reasons. Shaking his head to throw off his wandering thoughts, he headed back to his room to change and pack.

      Overcoat is probably the only ability worth using, since Weak Armour and Big Pecks. ((it other abilties.)) are pretty shit. Not to mention Overcoat protects form powders now in Gen 6, so it is a t least kinda useful.

    Stuff with Overcoat works too, no? Could be a use for some underused hidden abilities. Now that I think of it, you could get some actual type variety in a hail team this way. . .

    Anyone want to see this as a collection of different things to help get the details of a character down? Including stuff like character creators, name generators, et cetera.

Solace looked away for a moment, thinking. As he lost focus, the now-fading pain from the blow stopped flowing into Dorian. After a long pause, Solace spoke. "I just want people to be treated decently. Life is hard enough without people being nasty to each other because they're different, and the police don't really help either. I feel like it can't be hard to change that."

    "Hey, um, Tyron, sir? After this mess is dealt with, I need to talk to you, or at least one of the teachers." Kage was nervous for a few reasons. One, the unfolding chaos. Two, his tale was outlandish at best. And three, he wasn't sure if they knew he had been keeping secrets, and if so, what the penalty would be. Thinking about the topic, he remembered something. "Oh yeah, and can you get Raiza, too?"

    Kage gingerly walked through the halls, somewhat unsteady. There was debris from panicked Phanpys and Donphans all over the place, and he almost fell on his face a few times. Fortunately, the Pokemon seemed to have passed the way out already, so he didn't have that to worry about. When they finally got out of the building, he turned to Ryan. "Where are the teachers at, anyway?"

    Kage extracted himself from underneath one of the bunks that had been knocked over in the battle. He wasn't hurt at all, though it had startled him and his team quite a bit. Well, except for al'Thor, who simply gazed at the carnage with a faint hint of curiosity as usual. As the bed thumped onto its side from his push, he dusted himself off and replied to Ryan's question. "Not sure what you're calling safe, but I think we should probably head outside just to check things out. I need to talk to one of the teachers anyway."

    Solace's eyes widened in shock as the guard went down in a heap. He immediately ran over to the fallen man and focused, drawing the pain of the blow first into himself and then transferring it to the person who had inflicted it. Solace looked back and forth between the guard and Dorian in confusion, wondering why this was happening and worrying about what would happen next.

    "Um, I'm Haru." He looked down for a moment, still feeling shy. The man's Gift made him nervous. "I can move pain between people." If the man didn't feel pain...

    Solace looked around nervously. There was something. . . off . . . about the man that was supposed to be interviewing. This whole situation was different from what he had expected. The Shields seemed kind of hostile so far, which didn't make sense. They were supposed to be the "people's voice," right? Also, he was supposed to show his interviewer his gift? He didn't want to hurt anyone. Maybe the man was feeling some sort of pain? That must be it. Solace reached out mentally and tried to pull any pain the man might have been experiencing to himself.

    When Ryan pulled back slightly, Kage let him go. "Yeah. Someone who I'm pretty sure is an old friend, in a way, told me something pretty important that involved you. I don't know if I want to tell you in public, though. It freaked me out enough, and I guarantee it'll do the same to you."

    9:42 AM Siegfried turned the television off with a sigh. I had hoped we could do this without unnecessary loss of life. Sensing his Master's mood, Saber made himself visible. "I regret this more than you do, my lord. It was my fault." Siegfried shook his head. "No, I don't believe it is. The fact that you claim to regret it means you would not do anything to cause this intentionally. I assume it was during your fight with Berserker?" Beowulf inclined his head in a nod as a response. "Well then, there's only one thing to do." Saber grinned. "You do not need to say. I believe I know already, my lord." "We'll still need the help of the other Masters, though. Justice is rarely a solitary endeavor, and Caster is working with Berserker. As strong as you are, I do not know that you can overcome the power of two Servants combined." Siegfried fell silent, a thoughtful look coming across his face. There must be a way to flush Caster out of her lair. . .

    Kage was relieved to hear Ryan's voice after the events earlier. He pinpointed Ryan's location and virtually sprinted toward him. Kage threw his arms around Ryan in a tight hug, but despite the affection in the gesture, the tension in his muscles was clearly not just from wrapping around Ryan.
