I know it's so terrible to not want wanton slaughter of whoever was in your way to be your legacy. 'Troubling' or not, try not to jump down my goddamn throat because I worded something badly."

    Sarcus gave a small wave to Miki. "Hey." He was more concerned, however, with Lupus's reaction to Miki. The man looked like he had seen a ghost, not a shy Japanese girl.

    Xavier let the glow of his blade fade for the moment. He was glad that his armor wasn't brand new and shiny like some freshly-minted knight who hadn't seen real fighting yet. He wanted to attack the "people" responsible for destroying that village, but it wasn't exactly the best decision considering the relative strengths of the opposing groups.

    "Yeah, I'm pretty sure. I would think the professors would want to hear about this, even if they didn't believe me about the visions and stuff. I wonder why it would show up, though." Kage laughed. "Out of all the people Celebi could have chosen. . ."

    Sarcus overheard the conversation between two other trainers. If he remembered correctly from the last three days, their names were Lupus and Adam. "You know, there was another team. I might not have fought head-to-head with Gardenia, but I doubt you would have made it through without me. And yeah, I remember those buildings. I nearly refused to join this team after I saw the aftermath of these operations." Absolution padded up behind him quietly, fixing the two and their partners with an analytical gaze.

    Kage shook his head. "No, I don't know where it was. It probably was, though, since we're having a Winter Cup, and I don't think anyone here is gonna be anywhere else. . ."

    "Uh, let me think. It was snowy, as far as the eye could see." With a small, almost imperceptible start, he realized something. I could see? "Um, there were all sorts of tracks all over the place. Two of them were from people, and the rest were Pokemon. I saw a place up ahead that looked like a bomb went off, it was so torn up. All of a sudden, I was up close, and I could see Ryan, Feroces, and Glacien, except those two were fully evolved. There was blood all over, and Ryan wasn't moving. I was on my knees, and I was all torn up and couldn't feel my legs. That was it." He sighed. "I know that's gotta mean there's trouble coming, but how am I supposed to know how to stop it?"

    Kage flushed almost imperceptibly, realizing his error. "Could you write it down for me? I, uh, don't have very good handwriting." He feigned looking around as he silently asked Lucas to help him find the Pokemon, who had scuttled off while he was distracted. "The Pokemon was one I haven't even really heard of anyone seeing before. Call me crazy, but I think it was a Celebi."

    ...damnit. Omnislash? I'm trying to think of something original. Air currents so fast that they can cut flesh? It's been done but might work.

    Tempest Doubles, totally not stolen from DotA. (The first one, mind you, with the yet-to-be-ported heroes.) Wind Templars can make semi-autonomous clones of themselves using wind if they focus hard enough/are powerful enough. As far as just how strong each one is, that's up to you. It doesn't disrupt the Fighter-ish thing much, as the overall effect is just another fighter on the battlefield for you. EDIT: You know, it would be interesting if Pyron decided he was really pissed at Xavier after all and took away his Templar powers. (I know you're not one of those DMs, though. I'd be fine if it happened so don't feel bad at all if you decide to, it would be interesting.)

    also, the Mega PULSE Rayquaza has Contrary with the moveset Superpower, Draco Meteor, V-create, and Dragon Ascent.

    a dozen wasn't meant to be a specific number, just a general indication that you were going to be up against a few enemies I'll give it a few more posts, then drop the encounter on you guys anyway. I honestly can't come up with anything better.

"Hey, do you happen to have a pencil and paper or something like that? I want to get this written down before I forget it." Kage turned about in a circle. "Where did you go, anyway. . . ?"

    "Oh, yeah." He reached into one of his pockets and withdrew the device. He flipped it on. "Hey, this is the Covert Ops team. We took out the generators, but we attracted some attention along the way. Little help?"

    Friendly reminder that the mods are watching. I am honestly not a fan of how K_H conducts himself, but Surge, you need to not tee off on him for it.

    I'd like to point out that among the tutor moves in ORAS are Outrage, Knock Off, Superpower, and Trick Room, along with a ton of other stuff that looks very nice.

    actually, M-Mence is tanky enough to eat a BANDED Mamoswine's Ice Shard and KO back with return. It's faster than M-Mawile and I doubt it will fall to a +0 Sucker Punch. Avalugg dies to Flamethrower/Fire Blast. Cloyster only has a chance if it is sashed and M-Mence doesn't carry DD. M-Metagross -might- have a chance, but if M-Mence has a sub then I doubt it will win. Keep in mind, Mence has 95/130/90 bulk, plus Intimidate from non-Mega form. Greninja might work, but only outspeeds by a hair and loses to both Substitute and DD variants.

It was really hurt, but it seemed like it wanted to tell me something. It's a Psychic-type, and it projected this vision into my head." He swallowed and paused for a moment before continuing. "I know this sounds crazy, but in it I was hurt pretty bad. Ryan. . . Ryan was gone. Glacien and Feroces were fully evolved, but he was gone." Tears started to well up in his eyes, before he forcefully wiped them away.
