  1. Siegfried is equal parts magus and swordsman, essentially. He doesn't rely on exclusively magic or sword technique, he uses them in combination. Someone who has practiced in killing mages would probably have the advantage, but it wouldn't be something amusingly one-sided like Kayneth vs. Kiritsugu. His sword (that I can't come up with a decent name for, all the good ones are taken) is reinforced with runes and such to the point that it might be able to take a swing or two from a Servant, though the condition its wielder would be in after those swings is another question. (basically, no, he wouldn't be able to take on a Servant 1v1, but he could last a bit longer than the time it took for said servant to swing their weapon at him.)
  2. is it bad that I want to see a duel between Siegfried and Nadia?
  3. not sure what types you expected in the middle of a desert canyon
  4. Xavier followed the rest of the group off, his readied blade glowing a faint orange. "If it comes to it, I'm sure they fear fire. It's not difficult to scorch without killing."
  5. I'll give you a hint as to the current, currently-being-reconsidered plan: it involves a ground type or 12
  6. GODDAMN WHY ARE YOU SO QUIET I THOUGHT I WAS ALONE SAHFODSHLG

  7. Saber nodded. "Indeed. I fear it's too early for true celebration, however. Our foes are still out there, and now they know my face, while we know little." Siegfried turned to leave the room. "If we have nothing else to discuss, I will take my rest now." Leaving the room, he headed to one of the yet-unoccupied bedrooms in the building. Looking around to ensure he wasn't being watched, he started to draw what would appear to be meaningless scribbles to most on the door and it's frame. After he finished there, he traced more symbols on the walls, floor, and ceiling of his room. When he finished, he sat down heavily on the bed. "Why the runes, my lord?" Saber had looked on in confusion while his Master drew them out. "Simply a precaution, Saber. I don't trust our supposed allies, and I assume they feel the same way about me. Should anyone try to use magic on me or anything in this room, I will know. I'm rather exhausted, so that is the extent of my fortification for tonight." Siegfried began undressing to prepare for bed. Saber looked down for a moment. "I apologize, my lord." The mage made a dismissive gesture. "You can't change what you are, Beowulf. If you didn't use that amount of prana, you wouldn't be that powerful. Besides, that is not the only reason."
  8. If you're going to insult me, at least get your facts straight.

      What happened?

  9. also tbh I'm still deciding what that roar was I had one plan, but then I kind of goofed that up, then I came up with another but didn't want to be repetitive. . .
  10. Haru shook his head. He wondered why the man in the booth looked so smug; maybe they just really wanted members? He turned to leave the booth, waving goodbye to the man.
  11. I still think that Dark beats Ghost. If we're saying Dark means manipulation of energy fields, and Ghosts literally are sentient energy fields, then logically Dark would be SE on Ghost. Trying to create a triangle artificially sounds like what we're trying to avoid.
  12. Haru nodded almost eagerly. "Yes. If we help the whole city, then the Living Quarter will get better too."
  13. Kage stumbled backward in shock and sat down heavily, trying to process what had just happened. His head hurt for multiple reasons and he was shaken to his core. The soft thump that the Celebi had made when it passed out brought him back to the real world momentarily. He reached back into his bag and pulled out a Sitrus Berry, then scrambled forward on his hands and knees to the small time traveler. He tried to feed the berry to Celebi, with his Pokemon looking on in concern.
  14. He looked at his feet for a moment before answering. "I'm Haru, and mostly I want to help the Living Quarter out. It's not the nicest place. . ." Maybe this was a mistake. Politics wasn't really the place for someone like him, but somebody had to say something.
  15. "Well, my Pokemon will be the wall you hide behind. They're pretty much dedicated to dishing out damage up close, but they need the support of status conditions. Useless is the opposite of what you would be." He turned to leave. "We've got no time to lose, though."
  16. Sarcus turned to the others at the location. "So, anyone with long-ranged attackers want to pair up with me?" Max shrugged. "I've got the same question."
  17. assuming each generation is a result of inbreeding generation 1: cousin/cousin is basically the same as anyone else, sibling/sibling and parent/child holds a measurable but minor increase of genetic defects generation 2: cousin/cousin sees a small increase in the chance of genetic disorder, sibling/sibling and parent/child starts to get risky generation 3: cousin/cousin is pretty risky, sibling/sibling and parent/child is around 20-30% chance of major genetic disorders iirc --- completely unrelated to the previous post: http://nypost.com/2014/11/27/cops-release-video-of-officer-fatally-shooting-12-year-old/
