  1. It occurs to me that we should have some sort of Roleplay Directory. Would anyone else like to see one? Sorted by Active/Accepting Signups, Active/Not Accepting Signups, and Inactive/Defunct.
  2. I don't think I've actually done an intro thread. . .

  3. vote cthulhu 2016 "why pick the lesser evil?"
  4. I just wanna say one thing, I generally don't speak a whole lot on abortion because I haven't figured out my stance myself: incest by itself is harmless, and inbreeding generally only results in serious genetic flaws when it happens over multiple generations, and even then it's not a massive increase all things considered, unless it's close relations like parent/child or sibling/sibling.
  5. Basically. This is also how you can bite a rock and have it be basically the same as biting a bear.
  6. Sounds good. I basically see Dark as disrupting energy fields with a sort of negative energy, as someone else said once. Psychic-types would have a hard time doing much of anything while affected by said disruption, and ghosts are basically made of energy, so...
  7. I actually replaced Haze with Topsy-Turvy to make Contrary sweepers sad. The problem with adding Protect would be that I would have to drop another move, and all of them are important. Psycho Shift drops Toxic on people with 100% accuracy, Nuzzle statuses things immune to poison and stops it from being Taunt bait, Topsy-Turvy makes it so I can counter Contrary sweepers and Baton Passers, and Roost is vital recovery.
  8. "Can. . . Can I sign up?" He already knew about what the Shields were about, and he really just wanted to end the conversation as quickly as possible. He was clearly nervous, but determined anyway.
  9. Solace shrugged and headed to the booth for the Shields. He wasn't really sure of what to say, so he waited for the man in the booth to speak first.
  10. Solace looked back at the man. He seemed friendly enough, but Haru didn't care to share all of the details of what happened earlier, so elected to simply reply with "Late."
  11. Kage heard the strange cry and turned to follow it. "Did you guys hear that?" he asked his teammates. "I wonder. . ." He walked forward toward the sound, wondering what had made it. It wasn't like any other Pokemon cry he had ever heard; there was something almost otherworldly about it. Lucas leaned forward curiously from his perch on Kage's shoulder, also intrigued. al'Thor flew a short distance ahead of Kage, while Reina walked behind with the feisty Virtes being herded forward by her.
  12. Solace took a few steps backward, then turned and sprinted away as quickly as his legs could carry him. He had no idea why the man held such hatred toward him - and evidently he held it toward himself, too. Trying to put Richard out of his mind for the moment, he hurried back through the gates of the school and entered the building. He found his way toward the assembly hall - they generally weren't hard to find, usually being the biggest rooms in any building - and proceeded inside. He looked at the three booths, unsure of which one to approach.
  13. i was actually thinking of azumarill, breaker of perfect coverage cores and bringer of tears to all things dragon
  14. i'm actually a fiscal conservative for the most part but w/e
  15. "Sanity is not statistical." - George Orwell, 1984
  16. Xavier sat up in his bed after hearing Marcus's racket. Though his fellow Cinder Knight also seemed to tend toward flightiness, though not to the same degree as the Wind Templar, he sensed that this was serious. His brow furrowed in anger as he heard Blue's explanation echo in his mind. The elf quickly gathered his things, readied his blade, and proceeded downstairs.
  17. What is there to change? I made exactly the point I wanted to: it only ever comes up as a "race issue" if the victim is black. I provided an example of a member of another person who happened to be a member of a minority that was killed, and how no one even mentioned race; they simply spoke about police brutality.
