  1. "Oh, yeah, no problem." He heard that Ryan wasn't feeling so hot at the moment through his voice, so he resisted the urge to snatch off the towel Ryan was probably wearing. More embarrassment probably wasn't the best option for humor today. Or, well, he could be naked and messing with him right now. It was doubtful, though. Reina bumped Ryan's leg from behind to get his attention. She was eager to meet the human her chosen trainer seemed to like so much, and the others seemed to be occupied by Virtes trying to pick a fight.
  2. 6/10 because i like it but the image is too small to see the design properly, could use a much better crop
  3. oh god where do i start Mordred's Song Wheel of Time - introduced me to power metal and probably will be on this list forever In the Heart of Stone - elisa martin's voice is too gud End of All Hope Motorbreath - so many metallica songs i frigging love but this one's up there i also like EDM, EDnB, and related things, but none of those stick out among the rest for me
  4. if it wasn't obvious what the suggestion would be at this point, Fate/Zero. Much, MUCH more mature than what you may be used to (though still SFW, don't worry about that) but amazing. Though, tbh, you may be better off skipping the first episode. It helps you understand what's going on but it's not what you would call exciting. Massive information dump.
  5. I'll wait a bit to post Siegfried's reaction to Archer and Saber's arrival, since if I did so now the timeline would get awkward in a hurry.
  6. Xavier dove to the ground, rolling to avoid the careening half-ogre. "Oarloff, slow down a bit! You'll run Odin over at this rate!" He almost barked off something a bit more caustic, but for some reason he felt compelled to treat the ogre more nicely than he did most. Perhaps it was his simple mannerisms, but Xavier felt protective of the fellow.
  7. Kage sloughed off his clothes like a snake shedding its skin after he locked the door to the next bathroom, his Pokemon waiting outside the door. He fumbled with the knobs for a bit, figuring which one was hot and which was cold, then adjusted the temperature until it was a bit cool, just enough to be refreshing without it being cold enough to shock him. After scrubbing for a bit, he yawned. Showers always made him drowsy. After he simply relaxed in the cascade of water for a bit, he reluctantly turned it off and searched for a towel. Fortunately, most bathrooms were set up similarly, and towels muffled sound a bit, so he found them without too much trouble. He quickly toweled himself off and threw his clothes back on with the exception of his socks and shoes, which he put into his bag, then exited the bathroom. "Ryan? Where are you at?"
  8. Saber heard the building groan as someone cast some sort of magic on it. Looking toward the hole he had left in the wall, he saw it was blocked by some sort of dark void. As he wasn't about to spend time looking for a nearby exit, he simply lowered his shoulder and ran toward the wall facing away from the darkness, blasting through a few of them before emerging into the street. I must withdraw. Caster and Berserker took me by surprise, and my Master is likely in danger. Saber dashed down the street behind the building, moving toward his Master as quickly as possible.
  9. Marcus rolled his eyes. He skidded to a halt, then, in one deft motion, picked the table up and tossed it at Ethic. After this, he advanced on Rose at full speed, ready to take her out as quickly as possible.
  10. Saber elected to take the hit and allow it to throw him backward, safely out from under the stone. He crashed through the building a second time, idly wondering how it was going to remain standing if this battle continued. As he slowly recovered, wincing at the blow he had taken, he considered his tactics. Monsters attack when they sense weakness. Fighting in open space will also not do if I am outnumbered. I'll lure the brute in here, then strike when he rushes in blindly.
  11. also caster had better intervene or berserker may be sans an arm soon
  12. i think it would be rather egotistical to put in my own description so
  13. Just trying to justify how a guy could tackle someone swinging a zweihander around.
  14. Today I learned that PETA kills over 90% of the animals given to them.

    2. Magus

      Magus

Yeah extremest groups like PETA are normally like that. Head is so far up their asses, they lose sight on what they stand for.

    4. TurboAura

      TurboAura

Screw these Extremists, animal's have only been 'abused' by specific people, and the government takes care of those minority. If I want to eat a Steak, my life as an omnivore says I can. How would you(PETA) feel if other activists rambled that 'Plants have rights too.' They're alive, so stop trying to pick and choose what you stand for.

  15. The bard looked about somewhat nervously, but answered in a calm voice. "I'm afraid that the Keys are somewhat outside my realm of expertise. I might have encountered references to them in my studies, but any documents referring to their capabilities must have been destroyed. I do know that they must be immensely powerful magic relics of some sort, judging by their demonstrated capabilities, but beyond that I do not know. I am not a mage, just a storyteller who has fallen on worse times than most in his lifetime."
  16. A note for those less educated about medieval weaponry and combat styles for those that know a bit less than I: There's a reason huge, two-handed swords never saw broad use beyond the ceremonial. To maintain an effective assault, one swings it much as you would swing an axe or a hammer; in what amounts to a double loop, preserving as much momentum as one can between swings. This is brutally effective if you're facing undisciplined troops or someone not focusing on you, but the timing is fairly simple for a trained swordsman. It's why lighter weapons like the small sword and rapier rose in popularity; it doesn't matter how heavy your blade is, if you poke an internal organ, your opponent dies; shearing him and his horse in half is unnecessary.
  17. Saber continued to dodge the swings, noticing the brute's strategy and ignoring the Master's comments for the time being. A massive, heavy sword like that took a lot of energy to move, and even so it didn't move quickly. He watched Berserker, noting the rhythm of his swings. Immediately after the frontswing of the claymore finished, Saber charged inward, throwing his mass and brute strength into Berserker as he grabbed at the other Servant's arm, intending to disarm him one way or another.
  18. Kage followed Ryan to the showers. It had been a long day of hiking, regardless of the sauce smeared on his face. His pace was slow enough to match his boyfriend's.
  19. I promise not to bite anyone. (I make no promises about Outrage.)
  20. "You should probably check yourself," Kage replied with a perfectly level tone as he suddenly brought up his plate and rubbed it on Ryan's face, smearing him with not only sauce but little bits of noodle and hamburger. He unsuccessfully tried to suppress his own laughter, imagining what the two of them must look like.
  21. How does a D-ranked NP attack compare to an A++ ranked regular one, anyway?
  22. Saber's eyes widened in shock before Berserker crashed into him at full tilt. He hadn't expected that method of attack, and hadn't prepared for it. He was thrown throuh the wall of the building behind them, and finally managed to get back to his feet there. Charging with a roaring battle cry, he burst through the debris and aimed a punch at Berserker's gut, preparing to catch his opponent's arm if he tried to cut at him.
  23. Saber thought quickly. He didn't even feel those blows. Fighting on further with Naegling will get me nowhere. He dodged backwards, though the end of Berserker's blade scored across his breastplate and knocked him backward a few stumbling steps. He tossed the blade to the side angrily, and it clanged to a halt when it lodged itself in a nearby building. "Alright, fiend, we're done playing around." Saber waited for another reckless swing, this time preparing himself to strike with his fist.
