    wild and mostly baseless accusations of racism leveled at whoever happens to be nearby, neat Dressing as Trayvon Martin is stupid as hell and you would have every right to be offended, but please show me all of this "celebration of black pain."

    I find alignment to be a useful descriptor of characters for the most part. In DnD, I don't restrict characters' actions based on alignment, but I will make them change it if they never act according to it.

    Personal character. Beowulf seems pretty cut-and-dried Lawful Good to me. @sheep: It's just terminology, since simply "good" can refer to three alignments.

    I actually don't know where my character falls on the alignment spectrum lol. He has elements of pretty much every alignment on the chart in his personality somewhere.

    Kage's face flushed. Oh, shit, how do I explain this? "I-I didn't mean to. . . it just sort of happened!" As soon as he said the words, he realized how bad that sounded. "Look, I mean, uh. . . Lemme just say that I wasn't trying to stare at you. That's all. Sorry."

    I meant drawing runes on things at range using some wind magic trickery, but it wouldn't work all that well. (The wiki is super vague about how drawing runes on things at ranges works anyway so I made something up.) I just said it to be funny.

    Obliviously, Kage tilted his head in confusion without really moving his "gaze" at all. "It's no problem, just give me a warning next time. What do you mean, look away?"

    Siegfried is a primarily melee combatant too. Only thing he has for range is using wind to throw runes at people.

    Kage jumped when a pair of hands removed the headphones from him, nearly falling out of his seat. "Hey, warn a guy before you sneak up and interrupt a chorus!" Kage glared angrily for a moment at what he thought was the face of the offender, but then his expression changed to a friendlier one after a moment. "It is nice to have someone show interest, though." Unbeknownst to him, he happened to be staring directly at the girl's chest. . .

    Marcus grimaced. There was no way he could take on someone at gunpoint, especially slowed down to normal speed. Taking advantage of the distraction caused by the blast, Marcus backed out of the field and turned to run off at full speed, stealing glances over his shoulder to ensure he wasn't followed, whether it be by a man or a bullet.

    Kage abruptly burst out with the lyrics to the song he was listening to. He belted them out at a volume that it would be difficult to not hear him, though Kage himself couldn't tell for reasons that his neighbors knew. The music from his headphones was audible in the next seat over, regardless of what direction one chose.

    Kyahnna laughed. "Yeah, that was pretty crazy." She picked up the guns, holstered them, and drew the laser rifle once more. "We'd better head out, though. Who knows what else will decide that they want to try some human for dinner?"

    Kage skittered off to class, easily outdistancing Ryan on his crutches. "Sorry, but you've got an excuse to be late, I don't!" This comment was thrown off over his shoulder as he ran to class.
