Kage didn't move, forcing Ryan to either walk away or stop and let him speak. "Stop. Right now." He spoke with a firm, slightly angry tone. "Don't feel sorry for me. I don't want your pity, and I don't need it. So don't feel bad, and stop telling me how awful it is to be blind." Kage took a breath, and softened his tone a bit. "I can hear your breathing, even though it's windy and there's plenty of stuff echoing around here. I can feel the motion of the air across my skin as I walk. I'd bet you you couldn't, so I'm not missing out on anything more than you are."
