My school is up everyone's rear about some things (e.g. being totally on edge about me bringing in some fencing equipment for a demo) but frightfully lax about other areas of security.

Xavier noticed the tension in Akuma's voice as the birdman skittered out of the room. He grabbed a mug of ale and started to head out of the door. Before getting all the way out, he turned back to the innkeeper. "Do you mind?" he inquired, gesturing with the mug. "I'll be right back."

The conflict in the middle east is one of the reasons I am steadfastly agnostic. None of this would be happening if a thousand different people didn't happen to claim Jerusalem as their holy city, not to mention all of the other things that happen because religious nuts managed to force their way into power. Before you attack me for going after the religion and not the people, this can be directly attributed to the high religious presence in the region.
