    Nathan had released his partners earlier, figuring they would want some time to get some fresh air. His Charmeleon was getting quite aggressive, though, and Icarus was starting to follow the larger lizard's lead. It immediately started to strut about territorially, glaring at any living being -GAO or otherwise- that came close. "Alright, you little bastard," Nathan called out. "I'm in charge of you, alright? You're not the boss here, and you're going to start listening to your commanding officer." The flaming reptile gave the response the pilot was expecting; an angry roar. I joined the Air Force so I wouldn't have to do this shit. . . This prompted Nathan to put his "plan" for instilling discipline into action. The soldier tackled the Charmeleon and tried to pin it to the ground, giving his best intimidating growl. Charmeleon responded by trying to throw the man off of himself, and he partially succeeded; the GAO's body packed a lot more power per cubic foot than a human's. Soon enough, the two were locked in a wrestling match, leaving the Bagon momentarily unattended.

    Marcus released a low, primal growl as he drew two knives and slid a third toward Ixidor. The killer started to put his talent to good use, slashing wildly at any of the people -if that's what they actually were- that approached.

    I'll mention that I think banning Prankster and Swagger as a combination would be better than a flat ban, though I certainly wouldn't miss the move being gone.

    Marcus rubbed his head. He had ended up a few feet away from Ixidor. "I'm right here," he said quietly. Gunshots and what sounded like thunder echoed in the distance. "Perhaps we should look for a way to get somewhere that isn't here."

    Sarcus spoke to Grace first, though he felt rather awkward for a reason he couldn't identify. It's probably the outfit; it is rather over the top. . . "I don't know, my battle went pretty well. Tests have always been my strong suit. I gotta say though, thinking of Emerald judging these freaks me out a bit. I don't think she likes me." He started to turn away. "Anyway though, I promised I would help Lionel here out over lunch. If you wanted to come along, I wouldn't mind. As long as you're good with it." The last part was directed at Lionel.

    What Bibs said. I wouldn't normally allow something like that, but not allowing Nivia to surf around would mean I would need to A. cram a river into every location or b. force DarkLight to change characters, both of which are highly undesirable.

    Mega Sceptile is awesome. Lightningrod is utterly pointless tho (lol 4x resistance to Electric). Mega Swampert is. . . eeh. I don't like it as of now, but that may change. Primal Groudon. Yuss.

    Max shrugged. "You have Pokemon that are tough to control. It happens." As he spoke, Tiberius nuzzled Lionel in response to the petting with a fair amount of (accidental) force. The big dog was playful, and loved attention. "As for you, Lionel, well, I don't have much to say. I have to admit that Sarcus is pretty strong. It's not fair that they judge you without taking your matchup into account." Max sighed. "Speak of the devil, and he appears." Sarcus was making quick strides toward Lionel. He looked over the three quickly, a hint of distaste showing as he noted Max's presence. He waved hello to Jake without saying anything to him, and spoke to Lionel. "Sorry about running off like that. Want to grab some lunch, then I can help you out with that. . . homework?" The tall Trainer paused briefly, unsure of whether Lionel would be embarrassed about needing help with one of his Pokemon.

The Arcanine puffed up his chest and strutted about, doing his best to impress. "Nice to meet you, Lionel. And Ms. Mime, too." He was then interrupted by Jake walking over. "What's got you in such a bad mood?"
