  1. The snow melted and now literally everyone is sick.

  2. You can trust me not to powerplay people. Plus, everything on my team is weak or neutral to Rock and Ice. Like I said before, I use the dragons because I like them, not because I want strong Pokemon. (Especially Charizard; it's useless without Megas, and Hydreigon was barely OU.) Dragon as an offensive typing is also quite bad, given the ubiquity of Steel-types. Defensively, it does resist two common offensive types, but is weak to one EXTREMELY common one as well as every dragon having a weakness to another common offensive type, a double weakness to Ice, or both, except for Haxorus and Druddigon. (Rock for Dragonite, Salamence, and Altaria, Fighting for Hydreigon, and Kingdra is just neutral to pretty much everything.) tl;dr i liek dragons dont take them pls they arent op
  3. Sarcus typed away at the computer, the glowing screen casting a mixture of shadows across his face. His face held a look of intense concentration as he worked. Abruptly, he stopped. "It's asking for a password. We've got thirty seconds, otherwise I'm going to have to say that an alarm's going to go off, which isn't something I would particularly like."
  4. ------------------------------ Suddenly, you see a flash of orangeish-red light hit the large boulders blocking the path, blasting the majority of them apart and spraying you with shrapnel. The eerie wind returns; this time, it comes from behind you, in the forest. You feel an overwhelming urge to press forward. ------------------------------
  5. Character name: Marcus Appearance: Average height, rather nondescript face. Ragged, dark hair. Age: Around 26, though even he doesn't know. Personality Overview: Unstable. Sadistic. Prone to bursts of anger and little to no impulse control. (For now.) Backstory: An outwardly normal guy from a fairly average family, Marcus didn't really strike anyone as well, anything. He never really distinguished himself in school or sports, and had a few friends but not so many as to be considered popular. He didn't particularly feel any desire to stand out, either; he was content in pursuing humbler goals. However, around senior year, something troubling occurred in his hometown. People started disappearing. There was no real pattern; one week it would be a high school student, the next it would be an elderly woman on her deathbed. Eventually, the police started finding them - or, well, parts of them. When this happened to a close friend of Marcus's, he realized something. He wasn't even sad about it, but that wasn't the important part. Why be content with mediocrity when you could get your name in the history books? And, everyone knows the fastest way to do that. Everyone remembers the villains. Ability/Cost: Marcus absorbs some of the life force of anyone he kills, gaining speed and strength. However, he also absorbs a portion of their personality, which affects his actions. (cough character development cough)
  6. so is anyone gonna get upset if i make a murderous psychopath who absorbs the personalities of his victims? i feel like playing a villain for once
  7. Zorua has the ability to disguise itself as a human. @supernovae I'm not over-concerned about type balance (otherwise I wouldn't be grabbing three dragons), just about which would fit the character more
  8. Evolution via friendship happens at near maximum i.e.; having absolute trust in the trainer and basically being willing to give your life for them.
  9. not sure if dratini or deino inb4 people whine at me for taking all of the pseudos
  10. "Nathan." The man stood, setting his partners down as they woke up. "Isn't that scientist supposed to be showing up sometime soon?"
  11. I would personally shy away from Outrage; the power boost over Dragon Claw is nice, but at this point there are too many easy switch-ins given the ubiquity of Scizor (resist+very high Defense) and the increasing popularity of Togekiss and Clefable. Other than that, I'm not seeing any major issues other than maybe Espeon being a bit squishy for the use of Dual Screens.
  12. Amarantha shrank back, slightly ashamed. She had just been frightened by the Houndoom's sudden appearance, and hadn't known whether the thing was planning on having her as a quick snack or not. She waddled toward the Umbreon. "Hey, I wasn't trying to hurt you guys." She stopped for a moment. "Well, I was, but, well, Houndoom just scared me, and it sounded like your Trainer was taking that Oshawott whether he wanted to go or not." As an apology, she walked over to the fallen Pokemon. There has to be a way I can fix this. . . she thought. I guess that's just. . . wishful thinking! Of course. She simply had to Wish for the Houndoom to recover. I hope this works.
  13. pretty much how it would work in the games. Evolution by level-up would happen after a certain amount of battles, and friendship is well, friendship.
  14. You can't. You can breed a male with good aIVs with it, but you'll need one with the HA to breed it.
  15. "Oh, yeah, sure. Pretty sure I'm done here." He handed the cream to Keaton. "By the way, got any ideas on what to call this guy?" Hegestured at Charmander. "I'm blanking on names."
  16. Nathan sat with his two fallen GAOs and started rubbing the cream on the areas he thought were afflicted, though it was difficult to tell with Bagon as it showed no visible wounds. It didn't look like Charmander handled rocks all that well, but what is Icarus here weak to? He doesn't seem afraid of anything.
  17. So, in order to ease the pressure on my memory, post the anime/manga you've told me I need to watch/read. The only ones I can remember off the top of my head are Code Geass, Death Note, FMA: Brotherhood, Attack on Titan, and Fate/Zero (or another in that universe). kgo
  18. The thrown rock neatly knocked out the flaming lizard. Nathan sighed and picked him up. "Could you pass some of that cream over?"
  19. Well, while he's confused, it gives me time to think. Something tells me that fire won't do a whole lot to a rock. "Can you do that glowy headbutt thing too?" Charmander proceeded to run up to the Onix and scratch at it with its underdeveloped claws. Oh, boy, this is gonna go well . . . Nathan thought pessimistically.
  20. "Charmander, get out of the way and light him up!" It deftly moved out of the path of the flying Tyrogue and sprayed embers at it as it flew past. Now, how will I handle that rock snake?
  21. Icarus rolled backward with the powerful counter and came to a rest at Nathan's feet. It looked to be unconscious, and was going to stay that way. He fumbled for the capsule and quickly recalled the fallen lizard. "Charmander, it's your turn." Before ordering it to attack, he called out to Clint. "Hey, are you sure that guy can still fight? He's in rough shape."
