  1. K, who is Blind Guardian and when do we get to airguitar together?
  2. Reborn City was split, actually. Peridot Ward and most of the lake are pretty much all that's in this area.
  3. Xavier was a whirlwind of fire and death. His deadly strikes had a sort of brutal grace as he felled a hapless creature with each blow. He moved from melee to melee, protecting his less physically powerful allies by ensuring any foe who came too close met a swift, fiery end. As his lethal performance continued, he built up an aura of flame. Beginning as a few scattered embers that appeared to float with him merely by happenstance, it grew until he was wreathed in flame, searing those who dared approach. The templar sighted a much more worthy foe approaching. They were clad in midnight armor and did not break like those before him. Seeing that his newfound allies were preparing for an assault, he launched himself on a swirl of flame, leaping impossibly high while shouting a wordless battle cry. His blade came down in a two-handed overhead strike at the closest enemy as his golden hair, untouched by the inferno, streamed behimd him.
  4. White II was brutal in regular gameplay, mostly because of the obscene amount of cheating the AI does. (Zoroark disguised as Lucario? Yeah, totally gonna Toxic that.)
  5. Xavier adroitly dashed around one of the strange, lizard-like creatures, and launched a heavy strike, embers appearing to fly off of his blade and strike the other nearby. The blade whistled as it swung through the air, the edge heating up from the elf-knight's magic.
  6. That's odd. I think I know how to deal with this, though. "Remia, Argentia! Protect! Tiberius, use Overheat and set all of those spores on fire!" A wave of flames burst out of the Arcanine as he let out a mighty roar, setting pretty much everything - including a bit of Max's shirt - alight.
  7. So, my other nuzlocke died, mostly because I can't find Platinum and my DS Lite met an unfortunate end. But, I was thinking of actually attempting one. I was thinking one of four things: 1. A wonderlocke of Pokemon X. I'll throw my everything into Pokebank, restart the game, yadda yadda. I'll get myself a party of 6 pokes, wonder trade 'em all, and keep whatever I get. (Yes, I'm using the Exp. Share. Screw level grinding.) Otherwise, standard Nuzlocke rules apply. (Well, nicknames can't be done. Ah well.) 2. My earlier idea of a nuzlocke where people choose my party for me instead of catching what I run across. I'll hack in whatever you ask for, randomizing IVs (and, if you really want crazy shit, movesets). This'd take place in Soul Silver, or maybe White II. (Preferably Soul Silver; I found White II rather lackluster except for the climax. And the music for the leaders, N, and Ghetsis.) 3. A standard nuzlocke of the above. 4. A monolocke of haxed in but randomized pokemon. Likely either Ghost or Dragon.
  8. N, hands down. Yeah, his childhood was a bit fucked up, but he's quite the noble person, plus he's buds with Zekrom/Reshiram and can talk to Pokemon.
  9. as long as you stop muting me every time i have a serious conversation we're good
  10. >continues using hax moves grasssnake pls Speaking of said moves, who are you even targeting with that stun spore? edit: you also appear to be ignoring that pichu is confused edit 2: every time I think I've got my themes figured out, I find another epic remix on youtube also, I've decided I like White Kyurem's design more than Black, plus its cry is better. Basically, it gives Reshiram enough bulk (design-wise) to make it look really awesome, since Reshiram's skinny arms always bugged me.
  11. Fire can be used defensively, just like how wind can be offensive. You can surround yourself with fire or create barriers of solid flames, burn down arrows as they fly at you, and such. I should mention that's sort of Xavier's fighting style; he charges in and surrounds himself with fire, lets fire fly out of his blade as he swings it, and that sort of things. Very reckless and berserker-ish.
  12. Xavier looked down for a moment, then inclined his head upward slightly, revealing eyes that seemed to glow with energy and a grin. "Excellent." The young elf was eager for a fight. Perhaps it wasn't the best thing to look forward to, but he hadn't performed the deadly dance in quite some time. He drew his blade with a flourish, unfastening his cloak as part of the motion. It fluttered to the floor about his feet as he brandished it at the unseen foe through the door. "Judgement comes for you!" he shouted as he recklessly charged out of the doorway, moving his blade to a more practical two-handed guard as he went.
  13. . . . aaaand I had to do a full factory reset.

  14. I haven't been on the server in so long.

  15. 1. remind me to draw all of my RP characters at some point 2. You sure I can't be a scientist at some point? I find myself really wanting to be one of those working on creating new pokemon.
  16. Nathan nodded his head. "Thank you, sir." He wasn't sure how Oak figured into the ranking structure, but it was safe to assume he was higher than Nathan. "Now, do we have any leads on what, exactly, caused the interference? It's one thing to hack into a computer system; it's a whole 'nother ball game to, well, mind control something." He wished, once again, that he could get back into the air. Standing around with his hands in his pants wasn't getting anything accomplished, and he had no idea what he was supposed to do with his GAOs. They didn't look like they would be particularly powerful in combat, and he didn't know that there was any way of increasing their strength other than by doing whatever had transformed the little fox thing.
  17. Plus Deino is like the cutest thing you will ever see that isn't Eevee.
  18. Xavier chuckled as a small commotion caught his eye. An elven maid had apparently had her chair pulled out from under her, and looked rather annoyed as she searched about for the source of the seat's motion. He noticed a couple things that made him laugh, a bit more loudly this time. One, a bit of dirt seemed to have moved on its own, and judging by the direction it was moving, it was the cause of the impromptu backflip. Two, the half-orc was thoroughly enjoying the scene. "Someone's not as gruff as one might think," he commented aloud.
  19. Nathan turned to Clint, annoyance starting to boil over. He was already tense from the current situation. Thunder and lightning were one thing; however unnatural the source, you avoided it or dealt with it, and it was over with. However, creatures that could just crush things by . . . wanting it to happen? Nathan didn't understand that. He didn't like not understanding things; that's why he had planned to study physics after his stint in the Air Force. "Do you have any idea whatsoever of what's going on here?" he hissed at the loudmouth. "Any idea at all? This isn't a joke, this isn't a game, and this isn't a place where you get to just mouth off at your superiors." A man who didn't listen to orders at a time like this was dangerous to have around - and not for the enemy. "You know what you do in a situation like this? Sit down, shut up, and hope you don't get hit by a goddamn missile because you were too busy whining about Mission Control not giving you a running summary of everything that's happening around you."
  20. Xavier quickly shifted his gaze from the rest of the room to the person who had just approached him. A human, he appeared to be another Cinder Knight, which was supported by the words of his greeting. "Hello friend! I wasn't expecting to see another member of our order around these parts! My name is Marcus Arthai, who do I have the pleasure to be talking with?" "I am Xavier, of the Sylvaurus family." He waited a moment, searching the young man's face for a reaction. "Speaking of these parts, what brings you here? It seems that our variety of help isn't particularly needed around here." While he waited for a reply, Xavier examined the human -Marcus's- attire. His armor seemed fairly fine and well taken care of. It didn't appear to have taken quite the abuse his had, but that was to be expected. A bastard sword hung at his waist. We must have even more in common than I initially thought. Their fighting styles likely wouldn't be identical, though; the other templar carried a shield, and his blade seemed to be of a more normal proportion.
  21. This is why I think you should add Deino to the early game. Thing is absolutely worthless early game; I have a hard time taking things down at a 10+ level advantage with it in the core series.
  22. I don't see Pokemon being Trainers, but they could coach/teach other pokes.
