  1. ------------------------ The mysterious presence returns to the area in which the young Trainer has met with a Togepi and a Gardevoir. It hovers, seemingly just out of sight, as if taunting those nearby, in the direction of the mountain over which the rift had appeared. ------------------------
  2. We haven't gotten there yet; we're going to find a camera and send it in through there via a virus.
  3. stop critting me with air slash pls

  4. Alright, so I wasn't quite correct. -1 0+ Atk Absol Play Rough vs. +1 0 HP / 0 Def Scraggy: 212-252 (87.9 - 104.5%) -- 25% chance to OHKO However: 0 Atk Metang Bullet Punch vs. +1 0 HP / 0 Def Scraggy: 31-37 (12.8 - 15.3%) Not saying the math has to dominate the RP, but 4x supereffectiveness cannot be ignored.
  5. yknow, i really don't see a scraggy tanking a 4x supereffective move from an absol, even if said absol is at -1 and scraggy is +1
  6. Despite being slowed by the Icy Wind, Absolution hit the Scraggy with his Play Rough after he was Flung at it, though he was hurting. "Alright, Metang, take care of that barrier by hitting Scraggy with Brick Break, then dodge Dig with Magnet Rise." The Steel type dealt the Dark-type a crushing blow and shattered the existing psychic barrier, not being fazed by the cold. "Now, Gallant, stop another barrier from going up by hitting the Mime Jr. with a Night Slash!" Though the cold had slowed him down, Sarcus focused on his motions and let him dash forward at high speed as his arms swung, cutting at the Psychic-type's weak points. "Absolution, after you're done with the Scraggy, use Hone Claws. Dodge anything that comes your way with Detect."
  7. @Game Freak: Low catch rates aren't challenging, they're annoying as hell.

Current theory is that more powerful Pokemon are rarer and thus have less complete data pre-compiled in the Poke Balls. Therefore, the ball has to attempt to fill in holes in the data as it compiles the Pokemon into code.

What about Feebas, which is incredibly rare and explicitly stated to have little data stored about it, having a catch rate of 255?

  8. "Alright. Hopefully those drones being shorted out doesn't set off too many alarm bells. I'll be right behind you, Flux. Have you got a virus worked out to insert the loop into the security system, or should I write one up quickly? I've got a bit of code that I could probably modify a bit for this system, though not knowing how many cameras they have might be an issue. . ." Sarcus trailed off, thinking.
  9. Sarcus grinned evilly. Excellent, he thought to himself. He began focusing his energy, using the skills he had developed in psychic class to enhance the speed at which his relatively slow Pokemon moved. Better keep it subtle, for now. ((Think of it as the equivalent of a Tailwind.))
  10. Could you post your character's normal battle theme, Bibarel? btw I planned out my second turn, too
  11. That Intimidate is going to cause me some issues, but I should be all right. He turned his attention to each of his team members. Metang, hit that Aipom with Hammer Arm now that it's close. Metang struck with frightful force at the Normal-type Pokemon, one of the metallic arms crashing down from over the Aipom's head. Gallant, stay close to Absolution and protect him. When he recovers, Fling him at the Scraggy. The Absol, still a bit dazed, gave his trainer an incredulous look. When that happens, you'll use Play Rough on the Scraggy. Metang, once that happens, close with Bullet Punch and guard Absolution.
  12. The AI cheats.

      Shamitako

No it doesn't. It strategically bends the rules to give itself an advantage

  13. where are people getting these shit cannons
  14. Sarcus waved Absolution forward, then tossed out two balls quickly, releasing Gallant and Metang. I'm right behind you, he sent to them. He simply received feelings of determination as a reply. Metang and Gallant. Use your superior defenses to protect Absolution while he takes out the enemies. Absolution, you'll need to coordinate with these two in order to pull this off. Got it? The Absol glanced back at him and nodded. Sarcus nodded back at him, then gave his opponent a cool gaze. If he thinks that I'm confident, one of two things will happen. He'll either get nervous, or overconfident for thinking I'm full of myself. The first is preferable, since the second one might make him a bit more aggressive than I want. Sarcus thought of something. Alina, he set. Are Trainers allowed to interfere beyond calling orders?
  15. Haxorus should have been Dragon/Bug.

      Dragon/Steel maybe?

  16. Haxorus should have been Dragon/Bug/

  17. one more thing; Sarcus is good with swords, since he's based on myself. (I fence.) Yes, they are katanas, but that's because Pokemon is, for the most part, set in Japan, so it would actually fit the setting.
  18. pretty much what my run of White II has been so far.
  19. Not sure if doing a list of traits and flaws would spoil character development. It would help each author individually, but might spoil the plot. Thoughts? also jory, you flatter me
  20. And suddenly Smack Down and Gravity don't seem so bad.
