  2. it'd be great if people would reply more than once every three days.
  3. After some argument on the matter, Amarantha managed to convince the Trevenants of her feelings. They were only trying to protect the forest and those within, after all. They knew something of the small Pokemon before them, and were startled by the fact that she was defending a human. Togepi were rarely seen in the wild, or anywhere, for that matter, due to the nature of their evolution process and how humans viewed Pokemon, particularly small, weak ones. With some warning looks at the human, who appeared to have calmed down, they left, off to guard another portion of the forest from other, less friendly humans. After the treelike Pokemon left, Amarantha was alone with the Human. Her temporary courage expended, she shrunk down slightly, waiting to see what the human would do.
  4. As she trudged through her woods toward her destination, Amarantha heard what sounded like a human voice. She turned to scuttle away from it, until she listened closely to what the voice was saying. It didn't seem to sound hostile; in fact, it actually sounded friendly. She paused as she searched her memory, trying to remember human speech. It wasn't something she needed to know particularly often. She took a couple steps back toward the voice's source, curiosity overcoming reason. However, the voice turned hostile, and she remembered her situation. Amarantha turned back around and headed toward her previous destination, hoping that the human wasn't headed in the same direction. The Togepi stopped once more when the note of anger in the voice was replaced by fear. She had to see what was going on, so she picked up her feet and moved with as much speed as she could muster. When she arrived, she saw something that, given the situation, wasn't entirely unexpected. A human was surrounded by Trevenant, ostensibly because the Phantump hovering nearby had been bothered by him. However, something felt off. She had a strange feeling that this person meant no harm. The Ghost-types surrounding him didn't seem to get the same idea, though. She piped up with her small voice, telling the Trevenant how she felt.
  5. essentially the same as gen 3, except less tiles and they changed daily oh, and it was under mt. coronet
  6. Wonder what Pokemon nature I would be . . .

  7. Amarantha woke up blearily in her "home" near the Peridot Ward. It was a small nest in the hollow of a tree that had been knocked over by some powerful force some years back. Sunlight streamed through the hole from which she had entered, falling onto her face. She squinted, and blinked a few times, looking up at the sky to ascertain the time. Then, she let her small, stubby head slump backward. Sometimes, she wondered what the point of this was. It was a constant struggle to obtain enough food to survive in an environment like this, and her body was frustratingly weak. After laying about for a few minutes, she sighed, let out a quiet cry, and went about the process of rolling to her feet. She clambered out of the hollow, brushing past some minor things she had brought back to her dwelling. Most of them were useless; a bit of red string here, a Pidgeot's fallen feather there. One or two were actual, useful items, like the Potion tucked back in a shadowed nook. As she rose out of the hole, she looked about cautiously. Humans usually didn't come around here, but even this cataclysm couldn't erase the natural predator-prey relationships that existed, and Amarantha knew all too well what a tempting target she was. After reassuring herself that a Skarmory wasn't about to swoop down and turn her into an omelette, she started waddling her way to her planned destination, skirting around the edge of the nearby city. She remembered seeing a PokeMart at one point, and she planned on searching it for any supplies it might still contain.
  8. please make Feebas an event and not the way it is in Gen III and IV
  9. ALL HAIL ALL TERRAIN VENOMOTH

  10. Well, there's the theory that Pokemon are energy beings, so they would be able to recover and resist injury more readily than real animals, I think. I'd probably be a breeder, though. Get to spend all day taking care of animals that are remarkably intelligent, and maybe get into training if the Pokemon wanted to battle.
  11. well, the geography isn't set in stone because I haven't finished putting it together because space still has a tendency to rearrange itself. The Peridot Ward is basically the only part of the city that landed in that location; the other wards are scattered about. I'd be totally alright with my character being caught, too, just talk to me about how it happens.
  12. Just one question: why is your sprite still naked
  13. looks good feel free to start RPing at any time. Talk to someone in this thread before you catch/befriend them (Pokemon don't have to be caught to be on your team). for example, i'd like Amarantha to be caught pretty quickly. Being a Togepi, she lacks a lot of . . . everything. . . when it comes to resisting capture. (Minus metronoming into V-Create.)
  14. Sarcus considered the information. "Absolution can help with that paralysis if you need him to. Absol can learn a variety of supportive moves, and I've done quite a bit of searching for TMs. Anyway, if no one has any objections, we should proceed. You said that there aren't any threats at the third door down, right? Let's go there." He walked toward the entrance in question, drawing his other knife and holding it in a ready position. He looked back once he reached a decent place to duck for a moment, and waved Alina forward.
  15. Max raised his hand. "I didn't." He started to stand, expecting Emerald to direct him somewhere. ---------------- Psychic class ran fairly similarly to offensive class. They practiced various techniques. Sarcus primarily focused on assaulting and breaking the mental defenses of his opponents as quickly as possible, along with using his power to enhance his natural speed and strength, which were somewhat lacking.
  16. that reminds me, i'll be making a character profile soon basically a rule 63'd version of myself, because why not feel like it turned out a bit sue-ish but w/e Name: Amarantha Gender: Female Species: Togepi (Level 14, Hustle) Age: Around 17, though it's difficult to be certain. Appearance: As a normal Togepi, with slightly lighter coloration on top. Personality: Quiet and a bit withdrawn until she gets comfortable with people. Has a tendency to conceal her deepest thoughts, only revealing them to one or two people. Quite set in her ways; rarely changes her mind unless facts prompt her to do so. However, she can be very energetic if she comes out of her isolation, forgetting her avoidant ways and engaging in lively (or heated) discussions. Despite her evasiveness toward social interaction, she often feels lonely, possibly due to her nature as a Togepi. Background: Amarantha was actually born and raised for a short time by a Dragon Tamer and a Pokemon Breeder before Cyrus's "success," but the time distortion placed her much further forward in time than her family, so she grew up as an orphan. Her adoptive parents were a fairly normal family of the time; they had shifted the blame onto Cyrus, and had a strong dislike for Pokemon, which they considered untrustworthy at best. She came closer to their views over time, but never completely forgot the vague memories of her parents. She was left unattended one day when she was about 10, and ran afoul of a Ninetales that had been tortured by vengeful humans. She woke up the next morning in the body of a Togepi, and was forced to leave her home lest she be captured and disposed of, as Togepi have no true use as work animals.
  17. so someone let me set up four dragon dances on dragonite

that's the point where you decide whether or not to check the record battle button.

  18. After the transmission cut out, Sarcus snorted. "Well, that was reassuring. Glad to know how much they care." He quickly ran through his knowledge of his teammates to formulate a plan. No one was really cut out for getting around in there, except. . . "Miki. How well can you communicate with Raito? Jolteon are blazing fast, and don't make a lot of noise. He might be able to let us know what's waiting in there. After we find that out, we send in Alina to take out anyone who notices us on our way in, followed by myself. John - John? - Flux and Miki head in last." He paused. "Should we try and take out the guards, or focus on avoiding them? An alarm will surely go up if we knock a guard out at some point, but if that alarm goes off with us in the middle of the building, bad things will happen."
  19. rock slide - flinch, rock slide - flinch, proceed to lose because your phazer just died

  20. Sarcus walked forward, glanced about at the remainder of the team, and picked it up. Hmm. If this is a trap, then they know we're here and we're done for already. "Confirmed."
