    "Sounds good to me," Braius stated. He tasted the liquor that Olrien had tossed to him. "This is good, for Elvish alcohol. Not nearly enough kick, but still good." He turned to walk down the street, waiting for the rest of the group. After a brief moment, he turned back. "Where is it that we're headed, again?"

    Sarcus looked at Jake in irritation before hurrying to class after Grace. Flash-freezing and promptly melting wasn't good for anything it happened to, and he was leaving a trail of dead grass as he used his peculiar method of transportation. It's not worth the effort, he told himself. He headed to the magic classroom, mentally recalling his notes about the day before yesterday's lessons. Sarcus was having difficulty remembering. Grace had arrived here before him, so he asked her what they had done last time in offensive magic.

    Sarcus noticed Jake running off into the distance. Sensing something was off, he flung a thought like a spear. JAKE! What are you doing?

    Sarcus bowed to the ranger politely. "Thank you. We've been working on it." He listen to Grace describing Sakura's deafness. Hmm. I guess I never noticed it before. He went back to his end of the field and collected his team. "I should probably head to our next class. See you there." He pondered what he could do to improve his strategy as he walked off.

    "I guess we're off to a great start then!" the Shantii interrupted. "Two of our group members here already know one another; it's nice to see people getting along so well." The large man offered a rather flamboyant bow, contrasting sharply with his simple leather clothing, some of which was more patches than original garment. The impression was further altered by a belch smelling strongly of alcohol. "Whoops, sorry about that. A small argument arose earlier; we were working it out when our human friend here showed up and stole everyone's attention. Lovely performance, by the way," he said, gesturing to the dancer. "Anyway, though, I am known as Braius. I'll just say that my proficiency in battle relies on me getting very upset." He looked about with a broad grin. "Nice to get to know you little guys."

    "How about the one with rocky terrain? Both of our Pokemon are native to mountains." He strolled over to the field in question, waving his partner over.

    Sarcus called Beldum back, spraying xem down with a Super Potion. He walked up to Grace and extended his hand. "That was a good battle. Thank you for helping me practice."

    "Dodge it, and hit once more with Iron Head!"

    The only other moves Beldum can know in-game are Zen Headbutt and Take Down. Both Iron Head and Zen Headbutt are egg moves.

    ((Focus Blast? Still normally effective, since Beldum is half Psychic.)) "Keep using Iron Head, and we'll be good." ((Absol needed to swap out or faint.))

    I'm not really sure how to RP my character properly; let me know if he looks too intelligent. (He is intelligent, but shouldn't always appear particularly so.)

    "Absolution, come back. Beldum, come in and use Iron Head again!"

    "Sucker Punch once more!" He was surprised that Angel had been able to take the Ice Beam that well, but a Sucker Punch might end the battle.

    I'm sorry, but. . . Normalize? Why? Normal-type's only virtue offensively is the strong normal moves that you get STAB on, otherwise it's terrible. . .

    "Use Ice Beam now that Angel is close!" Thunder Wave might slow the Absol down, but that wouldn't matter if the opposing Pokemon was already that close.
