  1. Sarcus raised his hand. "How will our opponents be determined? I wouldn't want my team up against someone with all sorts of Bug types, for example." He thought his team had enough coverage against the things, but he was still concerned. He shifted in his seat slightly. The metal braces he had obtained for training with his Pokemon and building his strength were strong and practical, but got uncomfortable after a while. Sarcus tried to keep them on as much as possible to build up the muscle in his arms. Surely, the physical power of a poke-person carried over when they were transformed.
  2. You never specified the name of a Dragon-type attack, so I improvised. Let me fix my team, quick. Also, I feel kind of like a power gamer, since a lot of the future pokemon I have planned on are pseudo a legendaries. Salamence, Garchomp, and Metagross.
  3. I liked an idea I read once. Make the common language a very simplistic kind of trade language, incapable of conveying more than simple concepts.
  4. White or White II?

    1. RasenShot

      RasenShot

Personally I liked white 1 for the storyline, but if you want to get some move tutors and the PWT, get White 2

  5. The hidden abilities on my pokemon aren't all that useful, though. I think I already referred to Absol's Pressure ability, too. I'll add abilities to my post.
  6. ((Recording my team here. Will edit when things change. Primary members: Gallant (Gallade, M), level 21, Justified Absolution (Absol, M), level 22, Pressure Blues (Pawniard, M), level 21, Defiant Metang (Metang, X), level 21, Clear Body Secondary/passive members: Chomp (Gible, F), level 14, Sand Veil Future members: Spells: Kinetic enhancement (psychic), thought insertion (psychic), aura beam (offensive), dragon's fang (offense) Skill: Speed -, Accuracy 3, Power -)) Over the last few months, Sarcus had been working hard. The academy was definitely different from his school back in Hoenn. He hadn't really had to try there, mostly coasting by on his excellent (but not always dependable) memory. The teenager was determined to prove to Emerald that he wasn't as weak as she thought he was when she had come upon him that first day. Gallant was getting over his nervousness, and starting to live up to his name. A bit too much, actually, as he often got aggressive toward people he thought were threatening his trainer. Perhaps he was returning the favor? Sarcus continued to develop his skills and those of his partners, sparring with them personally as well as battling other Trainers and wild Pokemon. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Maximus Primary members: Tiberius (Arcanine, 25, M, Intimidate) Remia (Mightyena, 18, F, Moxie) Ignatius (Combusken, 19, M, Blaze) Argentia (Aron, 18, F, Rock Head) Secondary members: Celeste (Feebas, 10, F, Swift Swim) /Future members: Tiffany (Eevee, F, Adaptability) Gracidus (Sceptile, M, Overgrow) Spells: Thunderbolt, Gale Scythe, (steel ability enhancement), healing Skills: Accuracy: 5, Speed: -, Power: 5 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Excellent, he thought. I'll finally be able to truly work together with my partners. And, I'll be able to prove my power. I wonder if we'll be battling one another along with having our Pokemon battle? If so, I should have an advantage. One major part of his training had been coordinating attacks using psychic powers. It had been difficult, with his team consisting of mostly Dark and Steel types, but with enough convincing and work together, he had managed to overcome the barriers to communication. He turned to look at his classmates. I wonder if I'll end up battling someone I know? Jake seemed rather concerned. Shouldn't be hard to beat him. He chuckled to himself. Don't be an ass, he scolded himself after the thought.
  7. Sarcus, after quickly finishing his homework for the day, headed to the forest to train his Pokémon. He focused mostly on Beldum, and training himself. He sparred with his Pokemon a bit, practicing the energy attack Shimmer had shown them. He was trying to build up his own strength as well as that of his Pokémon. (Beldum and Blues leveled up to 9.)
  8. Sarcus spoke up. "If you're referring to the abilities of Pokemon, I would think it would be Levitate. "
  9. Sarcus followed Grace. "Any types in particular you will be focusing on? I'm planning on learning some Fire, Fighting, and Dragon attacks to cover what my team can't do right now. Speaking of things that Pokemon can't do, Beldum is a pain to train, since xe only knows Take Down. How's your Dratini treating you?" ((Jake, shouldn't you be in magic class?))
  10. "I'm taking offensive magic. It provides for the strategic application of force that my team cannot provide, and complements what one can do with psychic magic as far as coordination." ((I KNOW))
  11. Sarcus jogged to the weapons room, nearly being knocked off of his feet when Raito darted past him. "Someone's excited." He continued into the weapon room. The two blades were fairly easy to spot, resting on top of a table. I'll have to find a whetstone for them. I left my tools behind when I went to Eterna. He examined the knives carefully, checking for any damage or corrosion they had occurred. The two knives were exceptionally sharp, since he spent much of his free time caring for them. They appeared fairly simple, but were made of an incredibly strong alloy that he had researched himself, with a little help from some of his online friends. It had been expensive, but the peace of mind it had granted him had been worth it. The metal was a bluish gray, strikingly similar to the color of his eyes, but it shined in a variety of colors if the light hit it at the right angle. The guards were simple, but molded for both aerodynamics and his grip. Once he was satisfied that no harm had come to the blades, he slipped them up his sleeves, into their sheaths. Sarcus started when he realized that he had been standing there for a good five minutes. "Err. . . sorry about that. Let's go find Flux." He turned away abashedly, and started to walk back to the room with the healing machine.
  12. ^that too. It really depends on whether we've got a high or low fantasy on our hands.
  13. Idea: Add Ex-Paladin as a class. Less healing/warding magic, but they would still retain some healing knowledge, plus you get some delicious RP flavor. Or, you could say that there are still humans born with the ability to use magic, just that they are very rare. Also, do the words Dark Sun ring a bell to you?
  14. 8pm what time zone? Also, some songs: AND THEN THERE WAS SILENCE - Blind Guardian STARCHASER - Iron Savior MIRROR MIRROR (2012) - Blind Guardian TYRANNY OF STEEL - Iron Savior ROBOTS - Gemini DOWN - Gemini ORION - Metallica I should stop now.
  15. I actually wanted to be a human paladin who would be a lot like the Omniknight.
  16. Sarcus finished off the last couple questions on his homework, as he hadn't had a chance to finish it last night. (His eyes hurt too badly to read anything.) He quickly scribbled his name at the top of the paper, and set it on the desk that the four teachers shared. He searched out Alina, who he wanted to talk to before he went to the class for offensive magic today. Eventually, he located her. She appeared to be preparing for today's psychic lesson. "Hey, Alina? I was wondering something. Is it possible to enhance your motions with psychic power, like an Alakazam?"
