  1. "I'm sorry. It's just. . . Sorry." Sarcus had nearly collected himself by this point. "If I knew how to stop it, I would. I'm just a bit rattled at the moment. I don't know how much you know about what just happened." He followed Emerald as she talked to Grace, since magic class was his next one. Damn it, he thought. We were done with this. No more breaking down because you got a little pissed off. Now you cried in front of Emerald. What kind of message does that send?
  2. A crash and muffled cursing reverberated from the building shortly after Sarcus disappeared from view. He breathed heavily as tears started to slide down his face. Rage and sadness had always been fundamentally linked for him, and he often slipped into a similar state when recovering from an outburst. All of this noise drew the attention of the nearby teachers. ((You can RP those, right?))
  3. Sarcus rushed in front of the frightened Psychic-type, prepared to take the blows directed at Gallant. The powerful attacks would grievously injure the young Pokemon. When the two charging Pokemon stopped after a second command from Jake, he relaxed slightly. The feeling was quickly overwhelmed with a wave of fear and rage. Wordlessly, he scooped the Ralts into his arms, made sure Absolution could walk, and briskly walked back into the academy.
  4. Sarcus sighed heavily, trying to contain himself. After a few moments, some angry muttering, and an injured fist, he turned to Jake. "Please, do not ever do that again. Ever. At all. " Looking back at the battlefield, he hurried over to collect the injured Pokemon."It's alright, bud, you did your best. You almost took out your opponent even with a big type disadvantage. " He waved Gallant forward. "Barring any more interference," he said, glaring at Jake, "it's your turn. " After hearing what Jake said to Grace, he looked back at the Ralts. He nodded, and focused on Jake, using Confusion.
  5. The Absol simply looked back at the Aggron. He chuffed in irritation about his fur, but barked a laugh when Ogre looked back at him. "Well, that was. . . interesting. Nice to meet you, too." Sarcus returned the nod. "Before I wander off, I've got one last question. Have you seen a Japanese girl and her Jolteon? We arrived under similar circumstances; circumstances involving a bit of a misunderstanding and some potent tranquilizers. "
  6. "Come on, come on, come on, come on. . ." Sarcus chanted almost unconciously. Absolution was making an astounding effort, but was still rattled from the Moonblast. He was in a bit of a bind. If he couldn't KO the Flabebe, Gallant would have to face down Grace's Honedge. If he switched Absolution out now, he would lose his Swords Dance boost. He looked at his Absol, and nodded. Absolution nodded back, and readied itself for another attack. "Sucker Punch, again!" He hoped the Dark-type was quick enough to get around the Flabebe's attack.
  7. "Dont let her moonblast you again! Sucker Punch!" While the move's power might be hindered by both the terrain and typing, it had a boost from Swords Dance along with Absol's huge Attack stat.
  8. Absolution took the attack, barely remaining on its feet. "Come on buddy, you can do it! Use Play Rough!" The Absol charged forward, grinning, heading straight at Sakura. "We'll see how you like this."
  9. I don't think my sprite has enough layers, yet.

  10. "Absolution, use swords dance." The Pokemon began prancing about vigorously, working up energy. "Watch carefully, Blues."
  11. "Absolution, of course. Blues won't be participating in this battle; he hasn't really been trained at all yet." He strolled out to one of the battlefields, party in tow. "This'll work." ((What are the rules for the movepools of Pokemon? I know Pokepeople have unlimited movepool, but the OP doesn't say anything about it.))
  12. Sarcus laughed as Grace lost berries to her Honedge once again. "Do you need help with that?" Absolution had what he deemed a decent amount of food -which was actually reasonable this time- and Gallant just nibbled on a Razz berry. Blues insisted on a large piece of meat, which he stabbed repeatedly before scarfing it down. The Pawniard wasn't used to civilized life yet, and Sarcus had to restrain him from gorging himself, earning himself a few nicks in the process. After he finished his meal, he stood up. "Shall we?" he asked Grace.
  13. Sarcus looked up at the Aggron. "I always thought they were interesting Pokemon. They've got massive strength and tend to be pretty aggressive, but the almost loving way they care for their territory is astounding. Anyway, my partner is the Absol over there. Speaking of him, I think he's gotten enough attention." Almost as if on cue, the Dark-type padded his way over to where the three were standing. He stared the Aggron straight in the eyes, and let out a polite yet proud cry. "This is Absolution, and my name is Sarcus. It's nice to meet you and Ogre." Sarcus watched the two Pokemon intently, interested in seeing where Absolution's attitude got him.
  14. I'm getting a little sick of being asked, "Aren't you a little old for Pokemon?'

    Ralts

I remember reading something about getting a Ralts early in the game. Where does one find said Ralts?
  16. "Hmm. You looked like the intellectual type, which Gold always struck me as." He thought about what the scientist had said. "This is a Pokemon healing machine, right? Who's your partner? Must be pretty big," Sarcus noted as he saw the Heavy Ball. ((I would make a longer post but there's not much else I have to say.))
  17. Sarcus scolded himself for not remembering. No, you didn't sound dense at all. "I was planning on training, too. Sounds good." Noting Grace's example, he also proceeded out of the door, grateful for a chance to stretch his legs. He might not be particularly athletic, but he still liked to run. As he exited, he felt a little bit like a mother duck with his team following behind him.
