"Sorry, sneezed while I was giving directions." ". . ." "What? It happens sometimes." "I'm going to keep moving." Another Navi seemed to be going for the nearby monster, so Score moved on.- 221 replies

[IC] Neon Exodus Evangelion Act 2 - Crossing
Chevaleresse replied to Notus's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
That much, at least, was enough to prompt a raised eyebrow - both at the situation that seemed to be escalating between Asuka and Beverly and the Doctor's words. Her eyes flicked downward toward herself, briefly, before her gaze moved to Alma. ". . . Are you sure?" she asked hesitantly, raising a grease-stained sleeve and waggling it about before letting it fall back to the table. She welcomed the distraction from the talk of the dream, though; she didn't like the idea of those things being in her head in any way, no matter how much either of the "experts" insisted it was nothing to be concerned about.- 180 replies

"Seems safe enough. . . Still have any misgivings?" Despite his words indicating that he might be awaiting a response, Kusuke proceeded forward toward the crack, a curious expression on his face. The structure's presence was strange, to say the least; a cabin like one would find in the woods somewhere, but deep underground, past a mine? Though with the dangers he'd both seen and heard of down here, the likely fate of the builder and resident (because someone who would have a cabin built this far underground in a place like this likely wasn't the type to have it done by anyone but themselves) wasn't difficult to guess. Perhaps it was some sort of magician, who'd come down here to find guaranteed privacy?

"Well, I can probably get through there without too much trouble. I could scout ahead, and then if I don't pop up back at the entrance looking spooked then you'll know it's safe." He wondered what could possibly be giving off that strong of a signal. It occurred to him that it might have been a good idea to ask around about that sort of thing before running headfirst into it, but it was a bit too late now. "I've also still got the pickaxe, so we could just widen it up until we can actually stand up inside and go forward." He took one of the torches from the supplies he'd grabbed and lit it. "But first. . . " He swung the arm with the light underhanded a couple times to get the motion down, then tossed the torch into the crack underhanded.

[IC] Fate/Reborn 2.0 Second War
Chevaleresse replied to Shamitako's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Karsten and Assassin "Nah, that's a good way to get lit up by someone with more firepower than you. We're goin' in pretty quiet, not makin' a scene with anyone but some junkies. If we run into a Servant, we run the other way, 'less we can press the advantage on 'em somehow. That sound good to you?" He turned to head down the elevator and back to the ground floor, assuming Assassin would follow as he extinguished his cigar with another brief disappointed look. He moved through the lobby of the building, somewhat crowded as it was due to the time of day, with ease; not the kind that simply slid through the crowd, adapting to the flow, but by simply clearing a patch with his presence; a trend that continued once he hit the street proper (though the population density of that was more than a bit lower, with the weather.) Ruler and Erica Fighting outside her mech? She supposed she might be able to do a bit of it as a Servant, but. . . "I can hide well. My Noble Phantasm hides my presence from other Servants." This was going to be a difficult War, and truth be told she was finding it difficult to find the motivation to fight for the Grail. She'd gotten what she had most desired in life by working toward it herself, and she felt neither the need nor the desire to seek it out. "This might be an abrupt question, but what do you intend for the Grail?" -
[IC] BNWL Day 2: Trails Ablaze
Chevaleresse replied to IntSys's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
"Guess everyone else's doing it. Wouldn't want to miss on the fun, right? Let's go, Score." Mitsuru strolled over to the port and jacked his Navi in, sending Score into the fray. Score took a moment to observe the area. The virus population seemed to be fairly low-level; those black objects didn't seem to be a proper part of this place, though. She made a note to delete them if she had the time. Ghost Navis. . . Mystery data sometimes contained viruses; perhaps it could contain one of these Navis as well.- 221 replies

[IC] ANKL. Part I: Awakening
Chevaleresse replied to Shamitako's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Arturia shook her head. A small voice in the back of her head tried to say this was her fault, a voice she did her best to ignore; she wasn't the one who had attacked someone else, and she wasn't the one who'd decided to cause mass destruction over a reasonable request. Focus on the task at hand. She stood up straight, and circled around Lilith, keeping a healthy distance; the girl was unstable and obviously not in the best mental state at the moment, and she didn't want to spook her by making contact abruptly. "Lilith," she called out again as she approached the girl's front. "Lilith, please, we need to get back to camp." -

"I dunno man, I dunno." SheepMan? That's. . . well, no accounting for taste. "Hey, Score, you should bring up that pamphlet, let's see what we're signed up for." "Understood." The NetNavi appeared onscreen for a brief moment before being replaced by the site; it was some sort of educational thriller/horror tour, he guessed? Bit of an odd choice, though he guessed it set the mood for tangling with Omega and whatnot. "Huh. Guess we're in for an interesting show."- 221 replies

[IC] BNWL Day 2: Trails Ablaze
Chevaleresse replied to IntSys's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
"Huh? Yeah, Brock's my cousin. Wouldn't call it much of a coincidence, heh. Though I guess it's not that common, being as we're from different countries and all." He turned back to Brock for a moment. "So what, Vile was being a pain? Doesn't seem like him, really. Then again, I'd be nervous around you if I were a Navi." He chuckled, letting Brock know he meant nothing by it. The diagnostics on his PET seemed to have unfrozen themselves at this point, but he got a distinct feeling of. . . irritation? If a set of dialog boxes and status indicators could look irritable, anyway; Score wasn't actually onscreen at the moment.- 221 replies

[IC] ANKL. Part I: Awakening
Chevaleresse replied to Shamitako's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
"Oh thank the fucking gods, she's alive." The phrasing was reflexive, and it felt a bit odd in her mouth as she spoke it. She now personally knew one and was currently talking about another. She gave Lilith a wide berth, though, despite her relief; the girl hadn't exactly demonstrated a good response to stress. "Lilith, it's Arturia. I'm here, let's just try to find our way back to camp." She tried to keep her tone as calming as possible, though she couldn't keep the raggedness of stress and exhaustion out of her voice. "I'll explain what I can once we get back, but we should be safe now." Should. Not that she was sure. Though the other girl was hurt worse than her, and unless she had some sort of safeguard against that ability was probably in bad condition wherever she landed. Arturia wasn't sure how to feel about that thought; on the one hand, she had tried to kill her, violated her personal space, and had both literally and figuratively spat on her. Still, a small part of her thought they could have been friends had they met under different conditions. -

Another, louder string of expletives sounded from Arturia as she tripped, stopping only briefly when she caught sight of the rope and then restarting at a significantly increased volume. She checked the other side of the trunk - nope, definitely under the tree entirely. "God damn it, I was trying to help, why the fuck did this have to happen. . ." She scrabbled at the tree, trying to lift it or at least roll it to the side; Arturia eventually started moving toward one end of it in an attempt to at least get leverage out of it. Not that she expected to be entirely productive, given that she was a fifteen year old girl who was exhausted and battered trying to lift a fucking tree, but hey, it was worth a try. -
[IC] ANKL. Part I: Awakening
Chevaleresse replied to Shamitako's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Arturia picked a direction that she thought was probably toward Lilith, judging based on the assumption that she'd more or less been tossed straight backward and that Mack hadn't lied about her location, and set off through the dust cloud, keeping one hand ahead of herself in case she was going to run into a tree or something. She mumbled curses under her breath the entire way, trying to focus on her anger at the situation; it was her primary defense against the icy claws of fear and anxiety that threatened to slip through her ribs. She was going to find the brat of a god, she was going to drag her by the ear back to Kallisto, and then she was going to go home and take a goddamn nap. She wasn't going to worry about the very real possibility that she would find Lilith dead, if she found her at all, or how badly injured she herself might be at the moment. . . Strong soul, right? Technically I'm supposed to believe in that shit. -
[IC] ANKL. Part I: Awakening
Chevaleresse replied to Shamitako's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Arturia opened her mouth in the beginnings of what was probably a burst of profanity before the shock wave shut it for her. It was a tad difficult to think in the time between struck by such and coming to a rest half-buried in dirt some distance away. She slowly began to struggle free of where she'd landed; the girl might not have been encased, but she was reaching the point where everything hurt. "This is what I get. . . for being. . . fuckin'. . . reasonable," she muttered angrily to herself as she pulled herself to her feet. She looked around; had she heard a scream? "Lilith?" she called out. She was pretty sure she should be close to the girl, at least; not that she had a lot of reasons to actually trust the person she was just talking to. "Where are you?" -

"Is that so? Well, hopefully there's a good prize involved, eh?" He stretched a bit, yawning at the same time. This was a bit early for him, and he'd been up late as usual. "I've been alright, myself. Anything else new?"- 221 replies

Mitsuru drew his head back and blinked a couple times. "Shit, Brock, that's you? I didn't even realize you were here, how have you been? It's been ages." He was somewhat surprised to see his cousin here, though not that he'd accepted the invitation; it seemed like something he'd do. Meanwhile, someone else had apparently noticed his presence as well; the dialog box indicating the progress of Score's diagnostics had frozen where it was at the mention of the name.- 221 replies

[IC] ANKL. Part I: Awakening
Chevaleresse replied to Shamitako's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Arturia breathed heavily herself; she wasn't the most fit individual to start with. She held her blade pointed at her foe, fixing her with a hard gaze as she tried to think through her options here. It would be safest to kill her; she was a clear threat and willing to do the same to others, and had potentially jeopardized her chances of actually getting Layla to trust her. Still, it was one thing to try and split her open in a fight for her life, it was another entirely to execute her when she wasn't resisting. Layla had to take priority, too. She made her decision. "Drop the bat and walk away." Disarming her would at least reduce the threat she posed; she didn't know if the tomboy had anything else to defend herself with. Granted, if she did, she'd have probably used it by now, but you never knew. -

Chevaleresse replied to IntSys's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
"Tsukuda Mitsuru, good to meet you. We'll see about the whole 'greatest Netbattler' thing, though." He was genuinely happy to be there, and excited to go on this trip. Mysterious e-mails and terrorist NetNavis aside, it was a fantastic opportunity - and Score was good at handling herself. He glanced down at his PET; running diagnostics, as usual. Mitsuru wondered how the Navi was able to withstand being such a worrywart. At least she hadn't sent him a reminder to pack clean underwear at 7AM sharp this time (or 7:01, despite the fact that she knew damn well what he meant the first time.)- 221 replies

[IC] Fate/Reborn 2.0 Second War
Chevaleresse replied to Shamitako's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Karsten "I'll be honest, I haven't got much patience for searchin' city records. Besides, it's a lot easier to scare the hell outta some tweaker than a bureaucrat who thinks his job is the most important one there is. Well, and get away with it. Had some fun times with that, once upon a time." He stretched his arms, making it visible to Liliya that his right arm was artificial (though well-concealed for the most part.) "Thinkin' you should scout out ahead, since you can move faster and quieter than me, but how's goin' for a walk sound, then?" Ruler Her main form of response was a vague sense of both agreement and frustration. Hiroki was unhappy to be crippled, and even more unhappy not knowing why. A part of her was glad to be summoned; she had a chance to fight again, like the days before her ascension and the troubles that came with managing her plane. Still, said days were also full of trials, some of which could have been inflicted on this world should her flawed summoning drawn a different god from Tempest. She knew neither herself nor her enemy; she could deal with the latter, but the former truly set her ill at ease. ((Not much to respond with since we don't have anyone to really run into and Hiroki's not that talkative))
