Kusuke didn't waste much time, quickly hunting out the computer terminal. It didn't take long to register and sign in, and after doing so he had the list typed up and sent in short order. That errand done and with nothing to immediately draw his attention, he set about practicing his teleportation a bit. He'd continue thusly until interrupted, whether by somebody else or his own boredom.

"I'll need some specialized stuff in all likelihood. The Boundary. . . It's not easy to explain in short, but you can tap it to do all sorts of neat things. I have a couple ideas about what might happen if it was properly connected to this world, but it'd be nothing but beneficial." He frowned slightly. There shouldn't be a Black Beast here, anyway. If one did jump out, he could always just go back and stop himself from releasing it. "I'll draw up a list." He fished in his pockets for a small notepad and pen, scribbling on them for a moment before tearing off a page and handing it over. "I'd also like to at least start those genetic tests, if at all possible."

"I was wondering about two things, personally. Up to you which you'd like to handle first. First thing is this God Eater business. What's the testing procedure, exactly? I could definitely use the upgrade, and if it's dangerous, well, I have a pretty neat trick for surviving basically anything. The second is some computer equipment and sensors I want to get access to if at all possible. I want to test to see if the Boundary is accessible from here; if it is, it could be incredibly useful." Much of the technology he was familiar with was derived from seithr, and they had the added benefit of not having most of the world covered in the stuff.

"We're from other worlds. Sounds a bit insane, I know, but we seem to have decided to not be subtle about that this time around and I'm sure you'll figure out on your own that there's no other viable explanation. I'm from a version of Earth that had a different kind of apocalypse, Somatotrope here is from a third one that. . . honestly seems to be in the middle of one, that sort of thing." He shrugged. "But I won't bore you with the details, especially when everyone else can explain themselves better than I ever could."

Marisa was about to reply when she abruptly fell over when the ship decided that now was a good time to enter good working order. "Uh, if that's the case, I didn't get the memo. . ." she began, dusting herself off and mumbling a quick incantation that seemed to have the effect of smoothing out her clothing and causing the thin layer of dust it had been accumulating to deposit itself neatly on the floor behind her. "Oh. Right. You're old. Uh, not that I mean any offense by that. You've, uh, missed a lot since Urza put you in that rock, let's say that. For one, the Mending happened, and Planeswalkers haven't been immortal shapeshifting gods for. . . A while, let's say that. A good long while." Lucine, on the other hand, was rather pleased with herself, but seemed to finally have acquired enough common sense to not do anything else. She began to work her way back to the rest of the group, a grin plastered across her face.
-
The set of controls that materialized in Lucine's head was odd, but not entirely offputting; she was accustomed to witnessing and occasionally experiencing all sorts of strange magical effects, after all. However, a general familiarity with the type of situation did not gift her with the ability to properly deal with the specifics of this one. Perhaps less than wisely, she tried to choose a control that looked less sensitive than the others, and fiddled with it slightly, to see what happened.
-
Lucine, for her part, had grown distracted by trying to comprehend the workings of the massive artifact they found themselves in, wandering away from the group as she examined it. Trying being the operative term; this was something far, far above anything she could understand. She felt a bit like a kindergartner who had just learned to read being shown algebra for the first time. She did, however, find something that seemed to respond to her presence; a depression in the floor - deck? It was supposedly a ship - sized for someone rather larger than her. It didn't take particularly long for curiosity to overwhelm caution; Lucine stepped into it after only a moment of hesitation, mostly just to see what would happen.
-
Shinobu nodded. "Right then. Assume you wanna room with me, Rei? Unless you found a girlfriend while I wasn't looking." She evidently wasn't going to let this place get to her. "Anyway, I'll go huntin' for a job tomorrow. Sure I can find something, though I gotta wonder how they get anything done if people randomly get grabbed to go kill each other. For now, though, I'm gonna get properly drunk. Anyone care to join?"
-
Kusuke had been quiet, pondering the situation and Lindow's words. "I was just wondering a couple things. So, I'm assuming being a God Eater is linked to those weapons you're calling God Arcs, right? Could you tell me a bit more about what that entails? Second. . . what kind of computer equipment have you guys got back at your base? I could set something up that could be potentially useful, if I had the right supplies and time." Assuming I remember correctly how to do this. . . He'd seen plenty of blueprints and had the general idea of how machines for accessing the Boundary worked, and could almost swear he'd built one himself before. . . but couldn't remember where, or why, and was fairly certain he wouldn't forget important details like that.

[IC] ANKL. Part I: Awakening
Chevaleresse replied to Shamitako's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
"Uh. . ." Arturia began eloquently. Evening prayers weren't exactly something she was fond of, and she did have something she wanted to mention. . . just not in front of the other two. Not to mention she felt awkward bringing it up at all, but it should be mentioned to somebody, and her list of viable options wasn't long. "Could I talk to you after they leave? No offense," she said, turning to the "they" in question, "it's just something private." -
"Well, the previous owners probably didn't get it by asking politely. Or maybe they did. Urza was a dick, as I've heard one person put it." She turned to Vitor. "Yes. It's a vessel known as the Skyship Weatherlight, created by one of the more powerful and influential Planeswalkers to live and one of the few things that can carry someone who isn't a Planeswalker from one plane to another. At least, I think. I've never seen it in person before now." She glanced around at it, still not quite believing where she was. "Needless to say it's a pretty big deal. As for what I've got for sale, it's mostly magical this time, but I honestly just collect curiosities, mystic and otherwise." The angel's response was confusing to her, something that defused a bit of the hostility toward the entity. "Er, no. Not yet, anyway. I'm probably going to regret asking this instead of keeping you thinking I'm some sort of divinity, but what do you mean by 'a mere Archangel?' Pretty sure you're higher on the metaphorical totem pole than me, though I would rather not test that in the middle of the Weatherlight. Or at all."
-
"Oh, ravaging huh?" She briefly considered one of her signature suggestive eyebrow waggles, but she didn't need anything in particular from the man at the moment. "Good. Well, I don't support raiding and such outside of a time of war but I'm not really up for an ethical debate at the moment. I'm sure she'll have something to say, though," she said with a jerk of her head at Solara. "I'm Marisa. A traveling mage, I'm here to sell your group some random shit I found while I was exploring the planes. Though I gotta say, I wasn't expecting part of Urza's Legacy to be here and apparently in your hands."
-
Marisa hands the piece back to Blue. "It's another powerstone. A little surprised they'd need more than this one, considering it's an entire plane's worth of mana, but I guess redundancy doesn't hurt. Hold onto that, it's valuable." She then turned to Aquila and nearly jumped out of her skin, very clearly flinching away from the man. She muttered something that sounded like it was black speech, profanity, or some combination thereof under her breath - it was quite unsettling to hear, really - before replying. "Uh, no, I'm not with any group in particular, nor am I a good target for being crusaded upon, purged, 'enlightened,' or any other such thing."
-
Marisa's face flattened a bit when the appearance of the ghostly angel finally caused it to click. "Right. Serra's Realm. Angels and paladins and heroes, oh my! I just. can't wait. for the lectures to start." She shook her head, realizing that she'd been asked something. "Oh, that piece of crystal. Give me one moment. . ." She bent down to pick up the sliver of material carefully, assuming Blue didn't resist. Marisa attempts to identify the object Blue found. "I need to talk to you guys as a group, so I can peddle my crap at you and tell you some stuff that's probably going to be useful going forward, by the way."

[IC] ANKL. Part I: Awakening

Arturia simply nodded in response. Why, exactly, did it matter how much she had to say? Not an argument she felt like having at the moment, though she again bit back the urge to snark back at the girl. Specifically, to question why she needed to be guided back. Instead, she sighed a bit; could she just go finish her carving and then go take a nap or something? Sleep deprivation caused psychotic symptoms like hallucination, and Arturia was not exactly the model of healthy, restful sleep patterns. -
[IC] Fate/Reborn 2.0 First War

What do you think, Nadia? Should I make an appearance? Masaru was eager to fight, but not so much that he would just charge forth. Or do you have another plan? He was fairly confident in his ability to take anybody in a direct fight, bar some Riders and Berserkers. This didn't seem to be a Caster's den and the enemy Servant wasn't riding any big magical monster around or frothing at the mouth, so the quarter-dragon wasn't particularly concerned. -

"Yep," she said, rather clipped. She sounded more annoyed than she really was; the girl was a bit too distracted to get too irate with Natalie. Though there was still a small part of her that wanted to lecture her for causing a scene, the truth was that it really just wasn't her problem at the moment. The well-known alpha bitch being bitchy to somebody who was trying to basically be said alpha bitch. Yeah, totally something she needed to get involved in. Especially since her mental health seemed to have been rapidly slipping for the past. . . ten minutes? It seemed odd that her and. . . Arya? - she was awful with names - were friends, though. The latter wasn't very friendly and the rest of the people at the academy didn't help, and she figured the former might be too concerned with image to associate with her. Though she supposed it could be some sort of rebellion thing. Or, you know, legitimate friendship, she wasn't a damn psychologist. -
The first flying monster dives at Mitsurugi, dealing [19] damage to her barrier. It takes 10 burning damage. Mitsurugi darts toward Lahmu B, stabbing it for [38] damage. Saber wreathes herself in flame once again. Saber's STR increased by 5! Her RES decreased by 3. Her INT decreased by 1. Her CON decreased by 1. Magnum offers some advice to Spicy HG for some quick moves she can do next turn. Saber angrily stabs at Snow with a flaming blade, dealing [11] damage. She is set aflame once more, with these being more intense; she will burn for [3] damage until 3 turns have passed. The second flying monster also takes a pass at Mitsurugi, breaking the Hemosphere. The beast takes [17] damage from the backlash. The first wyvern dives at Magna, snatching at her for [14] damage. Atton offers Mitsurugi some advice, increasing her DEX by 16. Somehow, he also buffs himself by talking to himself, increasing his INT by the same amount. Snow enters a defensive stance, increasing her RES by 15. Lahmu B scrabbles at the air near Edmond. He feels a strange and unpleasant sensation as all buffs affecting him cease. Saber plants her banner in the ground. Flames begin to gather around her as rage twists her countenance. . . Gabriel decides that more fire is just what this place needs, setting Lahmu A ablaze once more for [19] damage and intensifying its burn. Soryn stabs Jeanne for [61] damage! She seems surprised at the man's words more than the attack, and almost seems about to say something before her expression twists into rage once more. He takes [10] burning damage. Magna and her minions focus down the wounded Bel Lahmu A, grounding it forever. Edmond welds Lahmu B for [16] damage. The next attack will deal [16] more damage. Wyvern B leaps at Mitsurugi. [20 vs 32] It tries to pin her down, but she deftly evades. The flames around Saber intensify. Lahmu A skitters toward Spicy HG, and stabs at her for [10] damage. Perlita casts a soothing spell on Soryn, healing the vampire for [11] HP and causing the flames about him to die out. Spicy HG wreathes Mitsurugi's blade in flame, and then slashes at Jeanne herself for [14] damage, disabling further nonbasic actions by the woman for 2 turns. Status Initiative

[IC] ANKL. Part I: Awakening

Arturia looked around in confusion for several moments after being deposited back into normal space. "Nayru, please tell me I'm not starting to hallucinate." She wasn't a believer, but the verbal habit had crept into her brain at some point and refused to leave. She shook her head, trying to process what had just happened and consciously trying to avoid chewing on a long, silver strand of hair that had stayed behind after she did so. "Hell is that supposed to mean?" she whispered to herself. Face of darkness, illusory realm. . . sounded like something she'd hear in a dream after staying up too late reading. She trudged along the path, having difficulty focusing on her previous task of finding and calming the wayward Natalie and Arya. You'd better not be making out in the woods or some shit. . .
