Okay Ame, thanks for giving us another reason to hate your lack of lucario love :c Supposedly. But isn't that to be an in-game event or something? Whatever the Case, gimme that rock-headed birdy, I want my non-recoil smasher. KILLJOY. :C t'was fun to watch them all squirm and suffer
-
This wasnt an accident. :I Its just Ame being purely evil and taunting us with stuff like sneasel and lapras wayyy before we can get them. Talk about sadness Its a Croagunk C: EDIT: Also... WHAAAAT! WHERE.

Technically, in the case of "Limited event", the "only available when choosing starter" just applies to totodile. Otherwise it just means "Only one available"

Heya! Welcome to Reborn ^w^ My Name Ig is generally lynxie/fox/pixel o3o I like you already C:< but yes, sanity at the front door, please! Also, wipe your feet (only for it to get dirty again) and honestly prepare for the most brain-wrenching time of your life. (Because my brain is already crushed/wrenched/turned to mush/mashed to a pulp by this game c:)

Noice. Although I wish I could've watched Vinny Suffer More personally, I would've liked to find them out myself, this is still a nice sneak peek o: (now I don't have to wander around aimlessly trying to find an exit, yay!) c: Off Topic, The nickname of your sneasel doe. *thumbs up*

Forum Name: Lynxiechan Length of time on Reborn: Just under 1 year (11 months, more or less) Favorite game genre: MMORPGs. Or just RPGs. Notable skills: Being the Happy-go-Lucky guy whos constantly cheerful, cooking, and giving advice that actually helps. Hobbies : Reading, Reading fanfics, Botany, and reading about the brain and emotions (yes, Im a slight brainiac ). Best Trait: Being that ray of sunshine that absolutely nobody can hate (mostly)~ ^u^ Worst Trait: I overreact often at the tiniest thing, but only if it's directed at me in an insensitive manner. Describe yourself in one sentence, long or short it doesn't matter: Give me nasty, and Ill reflect it back at you tenfold. Why we should pick you to play Survivor Reborn: Having constantly watched "I'm a celebrity: Get me out of here" and "The Island" (and other reality elimination competitions that have nothing to do with survival but never mind), I have a conscious mind of treading cautiously and not making the wrong step. Okay, sometimes I may overthink things, but more often than not, my decisions bring my team to victory. I can also provide that water that soothes the fire threatening to explode. Yes, that's a risky thing to do, but if it brings the survival of co-operation, it's a risk I'm willing to take. But I'm also tough- if you cause problems for the team, I won't hesitate to crush you flat.

Oh my god help me I don't know what I'm doing anymore
Lynxiechan replied to Lynxiechan's topic in Team Showcase
Thanks for the input c: I see where you're going, and yeah, sorry my team really is messed up in terms of type matchup/weather effects, I mean hence the title of my post xD Weather effect- wise, I did actually notice that my Ninetales potentially could set up a pretty good sweeper team with chlorophyll/growth/solarbeam, but tbh I'm dead set against having a weather-centric team in gen VI because it's just a chore to have to sweep a team in 8 turns (granted that I give my ninetales a heat rock). Off topic, you mean sierra right? xD yeah Im up to the end of ep 13 now (dammit I want to keep my magmarizer/electrizer, Ame is fricking evil awesome for putting them in), so her hail wont be a massive issue (though it fucking was when I sent my old ninetales up against it, stupid snow warning) Back on topic, In terms of Fire-Water-Grass Coverage, I was actually revolving around Ninetales/Azumarill/Roserade (or Tropius) but I actually completely forgot about bulbasaur. Guess its time to pull that stupid chingling out and massage it into oblivion (ugh), thanks for that though c: Again off topic, if you mean Solaris, I took him out with a Will-O-Wisp/Power Split/Hex cofagrigus which just trashed it (although it took like 3 cotton candies, goodbye to 18k pokeyen qq), same thing also trashed medicham when I wanted gastly lol On topic, I like the suggestion of gigalith, but my biggest issue (and its even more pronounced in it's IV) is it's speed. Not only is it slow, it's also got a poor speed IV of 4 and a nature that hinders said stat (yay, triple awkwardness on the bulky tank!). I mean I like the idea, and I did train it to have 128 EVs in Defense/HP and 252 EVs in attack (god these EVs took too long), but it's just too slow and it's largest weaknesses are mainly pokemon in the Sp Atk category (by this I mean the glaring weaknesses of Water/Grass), so yeah. If I had to pick a rock type though, do you think that gigalith is potentially the best one to choose? Or should I choose something else? -
Ugh, after about 5 episodes of reborn, I can officially say this. I have absolutely no idea where my team setup is going. Can someone give me some advice? I'd greatly appreciate it. My current main team is: Soulix The Chandelure Ability: Infiltrator Moveset: Flamethrower, Will-O-Wisp, Shadow Ball, HP (Electric) EVs: 252 Sp.Atk/128 Def/128 Spd Concordia The Gardevoir Ability: Synchronize Moveset: Psychic, Calm Mind, Shadow Ball, Moonblast EVs: 252 Sp.Atk/128 HP/128 Spd Blasty The Clawitzer Ability: Mega Launcher (uh duh I mean cmon anything else on this thing would be stupid :c) Moveset: Aura Sphere, Dark Pulse, Dragon Pulse, Surf EVs: 252 Sp. Atk/128 Def/128 Sp.Def Spikes The Chesnaught Ability: Bulletproof (this thing is evil against Chandelures) Moveset: Strength, Rock Smash, Belly Drum, Seed Bomb (Surprisingly, Rock smash is quite OP) 252 Atk/252 Spd/4 HP Nyx The Azumarill Ability: Huge Power Moveset: Bounce, Dive, Play Rough, Brick Break EVs: 252 Atk/128 Def/128 Spd Firessa The Ninetales (typing that is just embarrassing, Im changing that nickname) Ability: Drought Moveset: Flamethrower, Will-O-Wisp, Nasty Plot, Extrasensory EVs: 252 Sp. Atk/128 Def/128 Sp. Def All my pokemon have no items, and I also have a frickload of rotation pokemon: Medicham, Hawlucha, Altaria, Trevenant, Gourgeist, Golurk, Lilligant, Barbaracle, Krookodile, Mamoswine, Sharpedo, Empoleon, Beartic, Cofagrigus, Gengar, Florges, Bisharp, Vanilluxe, Emolga, and Gigalith. The ones that get used most often of these are: Altitude the Hawlucha Ability: Limber Moveset: Aerial Ace, Flying Press, Swords Dance, Featherdance (I know I know, it learns Sky Attack/Sky Drop. But I prefer the non-misser.) EVs: 252 Atk/128 HP/128 Spd ZipFlight the Emolga Ability: Motor Drive (I might change it to static) Moveset: Electro Ball, Nuzzle, Acrobatics, Flash. EVs: 128 Atk/128 Sp. Atk/252 Spd Ironic The Bisharp Ability: Inner Focus Moveset: Iron Head, Iron Defense, Swords Dance, Night Slash. EVs: 252 Atk/252 Def/4 HP Again, these guys have no items either. I just want to know whether my team is okay enough against a majority of types, or whether I seriously need to play shuffle the deck with my pokemon~ any comments/criticisms/advice would be really helpful. thanks c: EDIT: before you knock me out because my EV choices are off the charts weird, just know that I did them to suit the pokemons' specific IV set.

That'd just make it superbly OP and as we all know, Ame is evil and never lets us have any OP movesets. qq (considering if it was fast enough, Pika/raichu could just surf all ground types into oblivion imo... e.e) EDIT: and yes, I have pretty much every decent TM that ame has decided to put in-game as of the last two episodes. I just need to find HM surf now... e.e (cuz dis nab hasnt played reborn for too long :c) --- Also, imo I think volt tackle is too much of a health hazard for Raichu, given that it has (although decent) awkward defenses. Nuzzle/ElecBall works good (I use that on my emolga), and I think I agree on the grass knot or hidden power coupling with that, considering you already have nasty plot on your raichu.

As far as is, there hasn't been a sun stone anywhere (or at least, not one that I've found), short of getting it from mining (from which Ive found one qq). So no, not as far as my eye can see. Dunno if anyone else has found one though.

Ohai Shoxy. Just a heads up, leave your sanity in the trash. You won't need it here. At ALL. Or if you keep it, be prepared to lose it within 10 minutes. LOL Otherwise, Late Welcome from me~ Im Lynxie, the sneasel egg stealer (OHHHHHH VIIIIIINNNY...... WHERE U KEEPIN DEM EGGS?). Im also going to be the first person to tear Our Green-Haired Jerk Jock excuse of a rival to shreds when we're able (Ame, where's HIS bad ending, Hmmmmm?) Anyway, Have fun here~ <(ouo)7

O_o.... I'm starting to feel that reborn is frighteningly realistic. Literally every gym leader that's died has failed to give us a badge. So if Terra even dies at all we wont be getting a badge from her. Also, Terra's a girl. D: (and she also seems to lust after ciel... .-.) Content: As in haven't found a sticker at ALL? Or in this episode? Because theres like four in the current episode (and one of them gives a one-time pokemon o-o) Characters: FERN?! FERN THE GREEN HAIRED JERK?! Corey's Death: Well..... a bit harsh to put it like that, dude... (But then again, a friend of mine shot himself in the head, so...)

I just used gothita with fake tears. One Psybeam- gone (My Gothita died once or twice, though. x.x)

I know. I left my sanity at the front door when I walked in here, like everyone else. Remember? q-q (I'm also extremely poor now...) -
Simple question because I'm dumb and didn't read

AHEM, SO DOES NASTY PLOT NINETALES AND CHARMING AZUMARILL. SO FUCK YOUR CROBAT. >: Golbats can be found in the underground railnet with the movable tracks, and zubat and golbat can be found in the byxbysion grotto as well I believe. Or any cave in the byxbysion wasteland really EDIT: l V I just used will-o-wisp on ninetales, switched out, charmed hariyama three times with azumarill and let it die afterwards, then nasty plotted on ninetales and extrasensoried everything, only pokemon faster than me was Mienshao q-q -
On topic, First most visible thing. HOLY SHIT THAT IS A LOT OF PUNCHING BAGS FOR GRASS TYPES. When Ame puts her in, Laura is going to make mincemeat with you unless you quickly train vulpix or something. Also, Vulpix is a good idea, as you can eggmove breed extrasensory and will-o-wisp onto a lv 1 Vulpix then evolve it at lv 1 to get Nasty Plot and Flamethrower as a ninetales. Another flying type or a bug type may be a good substitute to foretress. Or however you spell it. Vespiquen is a good idea, albeit being super annoying to find. Another good flying type is noivern which has balanced 80-100 average on it's stats save speed and I think attack. Although, both are insanely annoying to train (Vespiquen because it's slow and has a horrid 2x fire, ice, and flying type weakness and also a 4x rock type weakness and noivern because noibat is a little batbitch who decided to evolve at lv 48 and have the worst stats of all unevolved and evolved dragon types in general.) Okay. Some tips for noel? Vinny's mentioned this once, but NOEL'S CINCINNO IS EVIL INCARNATE. SERIOUSLY. THAT POKEMON'S MIDDLE NAME IS EVIL. If it gets a tickle on you then spams it's 5-hit moves, you're dead. So. Very. Dead. You have to drop this mouse quick or it will nibble the snapping rope and send your team tumbling down a slope. Will-o-Wispers are really good, and a pokemon with charm is also a suitable pokemon to make the majority of noel's team sit down with what-the-fuckery expressions. Watch out for Porygon-Z though. Foretress would check this pokemon pretty well but if it has less special defense than defense porygon's download ability will raise it's sp.atk and you better be quick in knocking it out. I'd reccomend using a cofagrigus with a curse/Will-O-Wisp/Power Split setup because that can really help. A good pokemon to counter Porygon, however, would DEFINITELY be shuckle. You can find the turtle in the apophyll academy using rock smash. It's hiding in one of the four rocks in the training ground where Kiki gave her lecture when you first arrived. Don't be disheartened if it doesn't show up though, it has a 1%? 2%? encounter rate? Maybe? But If it has sturdy, holy. It is super amazing. Checks everything. If you're gonna make it a special wall, Power Trick/Power Split/Rock Slide/Bug Bite is a considerable moveset to use. and HOLY SHIT THAT SWELLOW. It has it's common setup of Guts/Flame Orb. Cofagrigus is A VERY GOOD CHECK against Swellow with curse/power split (not too necessary because once mummified the burn from the flame orb already decreases swellow's attack). OH MY GOD I take what I said about replacing foretress back, KEEP IT. NOELS CLEFABLE. Given that Reborn is now on Gen 6 Mechs in terms of typing, Clefable is now a full fairy type. It also knows Cosmic Power and Moonblast, making it a wall with a strong move. With Mirror Shot, as long as you spam it on Clefable it should be okay. I recommend learning Gyro Ball though as this will most definitely help. Clefable is lower in defense than special, after all. You could also train up an Aron from the headbutt pole in the underground railnet- Aggron is a decent check to Noel's flying types and also the rest of them having a good bulk and also a 4x resistance against normal moves. With Heavy Metal as your ability, Aggron can pretty much check Noel's whole team with Iron Defense (To counter Cincinno's tickle defense reduction) and Heavy slam. But don't send it out against cincinno unless you're gonna switch back out again or you dont mind having decreased attack. Don't send it out against Staraptor, either. Unless you went all out and put 252 EVs in it's defense early on before the battle that close combat is highly likely to crush you like a fly. Not sure if theres anything else I could say, really. but eh. (I just noticed how Vinny's pretty much said what I'm saying here LOL but then again I google movesets because I have a no-life and I'm still learning this shit so xD)
