Crap. That means I've gotta fight all of the clowns and get Dive again. *sigh*

"Hey, MOVE IT!!!" Everyone moved, but now I can't. I'm literally stuck. I've tried pretty much every key on this keyboard and nothing works except for the save. Has anyone else had this problem? I don't want to fight all those clowns again. :[

I've called it. I know exactly who the champion is!
RadiantRegalia replied to Aquachu's topic in Reborn City
I never realised she'd said that. My mistake. El is a huge dick, but I don't think he'd lie about a position like that when he was leading that Arceist group and brought a group of Team Meteor Grunts to storm Radomus' castle. He is clearly no slouch to earn positions like that, so I'd say it's safe to assume he is genuinely a member of the Elite Four. Plus, we have only seen he has a Ditto, yet he says we never saw the full extent of his power, which probably means he's got stronger Pokémon in the back to show us. Our rematch with El will probably be at the Pokémon League. I think the only people we've been told are members of the Elite Four so far are El (though he's not entirely believable just yet as he lies) and Laura. Unless I've missed something we don't know who the other two are just yet, and chances are we probably won't find out for a while yet. (Watch now as Episode 12 reveals the next member lol) -

Well Ame said that the only reason she exists in Reborn is because she needed a character to organise the league or something like that and she figured it may as well be her. Her character doesn't battle, so it's highly unlikely that she will be champion unless she's been deceiving us all this time Lin is also hell bent on power and she's too focused on her goal she's striving for using Team Meteor so if she was champion that would make no sense at all. I doubt it's her either. Honestly, from what I've seen so far, I'm expecting the Champion to actually be Fern, because everyone hates him and he's pretty much just Blue except worse. People enjoyed beating Blue when he was Champion, Fern is so arrogant he makes Blue look self-conscious so to see Fern get beat as Champion by none other than yourself would probably be a good end to the game. It'd definitely make sense. It's probably going to be a character we've not even met yet though. There's no way of telling who it will be with things like the path of the Helix down in 7th Street and what have you. I bet Ame doesn't even know who the Champion is right now being perfectly honest here. -
What pokemon you think will be added in ep. 16 ?
RadiantRegalia replied to Nan's topic in Reborn City
You are clearly smarter than me. That didn't even begin to occur to me. Sorry. xD I still think Riolu was a better 'mon though, just saying. ;p -
I must admit, while Gates to Infinity wasn't a bad game (the story was no letdown that's for sure) it's probably the worst of all the Mystery Dungeon games that were actually released outside of Japan. I've played all of them and the problem with Gates to Infinity is that: 1. You can only CHOOSE 5 starters, there is no personality quiz. (The starters were Pikachu, Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott and Axew for those wondering. Kinda lame.) 2. There was no post-game. You literally did one mission and that was the post-game. It was a real letdown. 3. I believe there was something like 144 Pokémon in the game and that was it. Half of them are Unova based too. It's understandable to want to promote the newer games, but seriously, nothing stopped them from adding all of the current Pokémon to the game. They did it for X/Y and it's the same console. They were just lazy with what is arguably the best Pokémon spin-off series they've ever created. While they are all bad points, GtI was pretty good in its own right. The battles with the legendary Pokémon were made to be more epic, with some of their moves taking two turns but being devastatingly powerful and covering a range where you can't run away unless you spam Agility or something. It made them hard if you chose missions with harder difficulties. It was also the first PMD you could actually play live multi-player with other people, and while they only did this for missions where you basically fought a boss and that was it, it was still pretty cool. Though I've never done it myself. Lack of friends. :[ Also, yeah, those are the names of the Wiiware games. They never came out of Japan and I don't think they had a story to them, I can't remember, but they basically had Red, Blue and Yellow Pokémon depending on what game you were playing. They were almost completely monotype too I think. It was weird, but I can't judge them, I've not had the chance to play them. *cries* Dare I say it, I'm not really sure if they'll make another Mystery Dungeon. I don't think GtI sold that well from what I remember, and unless they can make a game that is as good as Explorers of Sky was, then they probably have no reason to do it because people will just complain, especially since GtI was a flop in comparison. They probably don't believe it will sell well, when it would if they just put the effort into it. I hope they do though. With Gen 6, Mega Evolution, and the power to make soundtracks on more than just a soundfont, it could have real potential. I dunno though. That's just what I think.

I never know where to put my posts, so I'm just gonna assume this is the best place and dump it here. As the title may suggest, this topic is about Pokémon Mystery Dungeon. As me posting it may suggest, I am a fan of PMD. But what I want to know is this - are any of you? I feel like I'm the only person in the world who still plays these games, and it's kind of sad. They are fantastic games and I personally feel they were under-rated, and I wish that there were more people that I could talk to about it. I mean, other than the fantastic stories, there were the soundtracks, the fact you had your own team, you could rescue other people across the planet... y'know, it was pretty cool. I wanna try and revive all of that here. So basically, the point of this post is not only for people to discuss it, but also to help one another with it. I mean, you can just say "yeah use this Pokémon in this dungeon" and whatnot and consider that helping, but I mean actually accepting Wonder Mail requests using the passwords and actually rescuing people if they need it, or giving each other items you might need (if you can even do that over Wi-Fi, I forget.) I mean, let's face it, you can't just wander into places like Zero Isle or Wish Cave every day of the week and just clear it within a few minutes. Some dungeons are really hard, and having other people there to help you through it would be great, especially seeing as they get rewards for doing it. It's a win-win! One gets saved, the other gets rewards for saving. I think having a mini-community of PMD fans, for lack of a better name, would be a nice thing to see. I for one would be happy to be a part of it. But for that to actually work, people would kinda need a place to talk about it all and whatnot, and that's why I started this topic. I've not really seen this sort of thing anywhere before, and I know there are a lot of cool people on this website that I haven't had the pleasure of talking to yet, so now I sit here by my PC in hopes that any of you PMD fans out there will come here to chat and help each other out and whatnot. Of course, I'll be ready to do just the same thing. :]

We see Lucario and Blaziken, but what I want to know is this - Will we see them Mega Evolve? That would probably break the game more than types.

RadiantRegalia replied to Nan's topic in Reborn City
I don't think they will bring Riolu back just yet, but I'd really like to see that in the game again. I think it was kinda silly to replace it with Darumaka, considering there are a lot more Lucario fans for one, and the guy who gave it to you used Fighting-types, yet he got a new Darumaka which is NOT a Fighting-type... I'm not saying Darmanitan is bad or anything, it's a monster, but I think it could have been put elsewhere. I want Riolu back, don't care how. I also really want Deino. I'm not expecting to see it until near the end of the game since Lin has a Hydreigon, but I'd like to see Deino some point soon too. I have my own idea of a perfect team for me and Riolu and Deino are the only 2 on it I don't have yet. I want to get them in the next episode so they don't get left behind level-wise and I can finally play Reborn with my dream team. :] -
Greninja is looking like such a good character. While it may not have a Mega Evolution like Charizard and Lucario, it's still looking powerful. I wasn't expecting Greninja honestly, it seemed like a good candidate that wouldn't be put in, kinda like Zoroark. I'm really happy after seeing that trailer though. That stream as a whole has me psyched, but that trailer really topped the cake. Charizard's looking strong too. I'm pumped. It sucks we have to wait until Winter until the better version comes out though.

I'm from the UK, but I must be one of the few English people who's actually OK with the times as they are. While it would probably be more beneficial to everyone as a majority vote if the hours changed to complement everyone, I'm always staying up through the night and sleeping during the day, so the hours as they are actually make most of my night up, which I'm alright with if that wasn't obvious enough. But all things considered, yeah times probably need a little looking at when possible.
-
True, but it's easier to work with what you know than what you don't. Same can be said about all the leaders really. We know he likes his balloons, that much is obvious.
-
I've seen on him on two different days, and he's had the same teams with no changes in items or moves both times. Raichu is sashed and I think Electivire is choiced. I wanna say it's scarfed but that would be redundant with Motor Drive so I'm not entirely sure on that. I guess we'd need someone to Frisk it out to know for sure. But everything else is immune to Ground, so a strategy to bring them to the ground would be effective. (Or don't use a strategy like that and just hope Electivire doesn't keep flinching you with Rock Slide lol)

If only [Pokemon] got [Move]. . .
RadiantRegalia replied to Chevaleresse's topic in Pokémon Fan Club
Garchomp with Dragon Dance. Oh God. I could see that getting banned. Well, in 5th gen anyway, dunno about 6th gen. That would be lethal on Mega Garchomp though. Shuckle with Foul Play. It wouldn't have to use Power Trick/Power Split to do damage to something, it could actually keep it's bulk. If it had Iron Defense and/or Amnesia too, that would only make it even worse. -
I hope that just means next-to-no grinding and not abusing common candies, because that could get pretty boring after a while. Just a thought.

There's only one mystery that I've really considered in this game. How on Earth are we going to beat all 18 Gyms without reaching level 100? Luna's Umbreon is level 68 and she's only the 9th Gym Leader. The last quarter/fifth are going to have level 100s at this rate! I don't know about others, but I think reaching level 100 before all the Gyms are beaten (especially with Team Meteor and the Elite Four still being a thing) won't exactly be good for the game. Earning experience from winning is half the fun of the game I think. You can see the growth. Playing a portion of the game with no growth will make it less enjoyable. I won't question it of course, but it does make me wonder what will happen. And that's not including the post-game!

Arc has two Levitate Pokémon in Rotom-W and Eelektross, and two Air Balloons in Lanturn and Luxray. He was using them last night, so I don't know why you think he got rid of the balloons. Even if he did get rid of them, there's nothing stopping him from putting them back on at any time if he feels like it, so you've still got to be ready for that if you're going to face him.

I managed to beat Aya for my first Reborn League badge about 3 hours ago, and I read about having to manually click a link to force my trainer card to update, so that's what I did. The page even refreshed and showed me the card with my badge on it, but every time I go to my profile, I can't see a badge. Have I just got to wait longer or is something wrong? I already lost to Aya once, and I'm sure she doesn't want to have to face me again after beating her. If this is an issue and not just the system taking it's sweet time then some assistance would be appreciated on this.

What would you be doing if Pokemon was real?
RadiantRegalia replied to Shadow Walker's topic in Pokémon Fan Club
I'd be a Day-Care man. I'd get me a bunch of Ditto, get them to have a little fun with whatever strolls by, and over-price the eggs I sell so I can be the richest man in the world. OK, I'm kidding, I'm not a complete dick. Seriously speaking, I'd probably get a job (if that's even possible for me to do) so I can save up a crap load of money, making sure to keep my Pokémon in prime condition and ready to battle all the while. Then, once I finally have the funds (and the courage) I'd go out on a journey to beat the Pokémon League with my partners. Chances are I wouldn't ever win the league being realistic, I make stupid mistakes when I feel pressured or get too big-headed, so in other words, the vast majority of the time. That wouldn't stop me from aiming high though. It's not like I'd put in all that effort to earn money so I can actually show my Pokémon the world and make them strong just so I can whine about losing and give up after my first loss. I won't say I'd be the best, but I'd be the best that I can be when it comes to battling. The way I live now isn't really ideal, because all I do is sit around all day playing games, and while that's not a bad lifestyle, it's also not a healthy one, so that journey would definitely do me good. Oh, and me and my partners would save people too. I don't really care much about people I don't know, and while my reasons for saving them may be for my own satisfaction rather than theirs, it's still the right thing to do at the end of the day. I wouldn't want to bathe in glory as a hero, or become famous. I'd just be satisfied with knowing that I could become a person that I've always desired to be. I've always wanted to be like a hero. Not a super-hero, just a hero. Flexible, agile, smart, can do "flips-n-shit," that sort of thing. My Pokémon would have to be pretty powerful too if they were to save people from wild ones or thugs such as a real life Team Rocket (fuck knows what kind of name they'd come up with for that.) It's not a bad thing by any means. You'd be extremely talented, you'd look fucking cool, and your Pokémon would be amazing. That's 3 things in one package that would definitely not look bad for any trainer. Unless you're a trainer like Fern or Blue/Green/Douchebag/Asshat/GaryMFOak. Then you'd just look like a total chode for trying to boost your ego even more. -
Ah OK, thanks!

Oh right, I'm not familiar with Simple so I didn't realise it was supposed to do that. Sorry about that. Ame did tell me (and she may have put it in an announcement post too, I forget) that some abilities haven't been fully implemented yet, because I asked about Telepathy not working. Simple must be one of the abilities we're still waiting on.
