Is there any intel about her current possible location?" Xe had no qualms about going after little kiddies, at least not those who delved in the dark side. Again, if you're down here in the underhell of the city, then you aren't innocent, not even a little bit. Either you were strong enough to survive on your own, or you sold your soul to an organization in order to keep living just a bit longer; things down here were as simple as that, and it applied to kids like these two 'co-workers' of xirs too... just as much as it applied to a professional like xemself. And this one was Kihara scum to boot, even. Kihara... just thinking the name was more than enough to leave a bitter taste in xyr mouth... A kid like that... simply should not exist. Makoto knew she wouldn't be missed.

      I got Sans, which I knew I'd get. I'm basically Sans irl XD. I've got a similar sense of humour and work ethic really I'm a lot like him XD. ((I mean get on my bad side... your going to have a really bad time.)) one of the characters I really do enjoy, jsut Undyne's still my fav XD.

    I just wanna say... I know you've been working on this for like, months and months and months now, and undertale only came out in september and everything... but god damn, does this thing and the whole setting and scenario give me so many vibes from it. From Castle Dour all the way to Azegeor (Sounds alot like Asgore actually, now that I think about it...) and even Times new roman (Who seems to be a pretty obvious reference to a certain skeletal warrior...) Can't wait till we get this show on the road... I'm actually kinda excited. Strange... I don't usually get that way too often.

    Just finished binge watching... that was some weird shit... like, Evangaleon-level weird shit...but it had it's merits... even if it was entirely overly gratuitous with the amounts of blood (I mean christ, there's no way there's THAT much blood in the human body to be spilt...)

    "This is going to be a long, long year..." Maya thought irkedly. The paper smile she'd maintained for so long now faded into a scowl as she watched the red head go. "and god help me if it's longer than just this year and we end up having to keep the same dorms for our entire enrollment. Folie is gonna be the least of the madness I have to deal with here..." Fuck it. She could leave now. No point staying any longer than she had to. Now if only she could catch up to the girl and flaming monkey and get back her- Only when she started to follow behind in the hyper chick's wake did she notice the chimchar there offering the device, obviously struggling to stay upright on just two feet. She reached down a hand to accept the device, not quite sure may happen next, but weary of the little chimp's sudden offer nonetheless... "Um...thanks, I guess."

    So... thinking about starting Elfen Lied. Just want to know in advance, I've heard a few negative things about it... is it the type of show that just delivers cringes (And not the good kind) over and over again?

    Exactly right. Like dobby says, it's a vast improvement over the clutter the original system of fighting caused. The amount of clutter in the ICs we had back then was too damn high.

    Here is a rundown of how we did it last time: First, The scene to faciliatate the context of the battle would be set up in the IC (EX: Players entering onto the field, maybe saying a few things, then finally sending out their first mon...) The fight itself however, would instead be cut away and take place in the battle thread. Once it was over, the results from said battle thread and a summary of the battle would be taken and placed in the IC... usually though, we go ahead and do the actual fights before the IC build ups and introductions are actually written. and that's basically it. pretty simple in the concept. Just imagine this as the production set for a TV series like Game of Thrones or Walking Dead or... House, even. All the episodes for that season are technically already shot and recorded ahead of time, they're just waiting for their appropriate date to finally be aired. The battles in the Battle thread which are already written out and concluded, are those episodes. Their appearance and summaries given in the IC are more or less the airing dates. For example: TLDR; You enter the arena and do whatever introductions in the IC itself. For the actual fighting though, you go and hold it all in the Battle thread. Once the time has come for the fight to happen, a host or involved player comes along, summarizes everything, and posts the results in the IC

    To be honest I think the battle thread is probably the best way to go for this overall. Given how long it occasionally takes people to respond to a fight if it's carried out in the IC itself, it kinda creates rediculous gaps in between the action and just creates these weird spaces where instead of a flowing scene of combat, we get this wierd ass mixture of fighting in one post, broken up by several posts of other people talking while the other side takes their sweet time responding... which kinda makes it disorienting and kinda difficult to track everything in the end because of such. So yeah. IC battles definitely didn't work out all that well last time. Best to keep them segregated into the fighting thread, unless the battles are so small and short that they begin and are over in the same post (EX encountering and capturing a wild mon maybe) or maybe for training sessions, which don't take that many post anyway... basically, if only one person is involved in the fight, there's probably no need to send it over there since in the past, it honestly doesn't seem to have been as much of an issue in this regard as an actual 2 player brawl was. Probably the only time other than that I think it would be a good idea to not use the battle thread and have the action in the Ic instead, is maybe if ROG were to attack or something and the school was under siege like it was from those technonerds back in the old run during the winter cup finals, since well... given the circumstances, it would make perfect sense to allow all the fighting to be held in the IC given it's the main event of that time (Kinda like how we did carry that out by having the group fighting scene in the IC).

By terms of technicality though, there really wasn't any reason to answer with a 'yes' at this point. It's not like the other girl had actually refused to give her back the device or anything... On the other hand... this chick was apparently her new roommate now. Terrifying thought, really.. But... if she went and said no right now, that would of course make her the bad guy here. And if she made herself into the bad guy and denied Helene her move and forced her to stay... well, that would probably only lead to tension between the two of them for the rest of the year. She already had enough issues getting the fool called Folie to pull his act together, and she didn't have time to be dealing with any resentment or feuding that might arise between her and the other Shalour Denizen over this... There was no point raising a fuss about it at this point. Besides... maybe this wouldn't be so terrible. Who know's, Maybe she'd been a bit quick to judge the girl, given her already sizable agitation today. Maybe. Either way, all Maya wanted or really even cared about at this point was to get her pokedex back, go back to the dorms and unpack already... "So, what a coincidence then...guess we're roomies." She said, turning to Sam.

"It's a few hours time both to and back from the nearest port... we'll have plenty of time to talk and get everything explained for those who choose to stay onboard. Trust me, there's no need for us to try to plow through and digest everything in just 10 minutes. But you've gotten the basic gist of the situation, it should be about enough for you and everyone else to decide whether or not you want in or out... I suggest you just think over what I've said for now." Meanwhile, the Ghost type returned her glare from it;s lofty perch... with a shit eating grin spreading wide across it's ugly maw, stretching from ear to vile little ear as Valeria watched. Before Any of the four of them could respond, she said to Yuzuki "Just think on it, if you're still uncertain, alright? If you still want more details, well.. sorry to say this, but there's no point in me going to the trouble of a full and indepth briefing right now if I don't even know how many of you will actually be staying and have any use for it." then without another word more, started to walk off towards the stairs leading down into ship's cabin... And the Gengar kept sneering at the little group all the while...

    Dear mother of god... Well... it would certainly be interesting... and perhaps terrifying... that much is for certain. Hell, I got no problem if you decide to move her... at least then she'll have a roommate who won't just leave a conversation hanging awkwardly for nearly a whole month,s with little to no word during said span of time whatsoever as to what's going on or if they even still plan on participating in the thing.. And hope the ankle injury doesn't become too big of an issue or anything for you bro. Leg injuries in general hurt like an absolute bitch, regardless of where exactly they are.

    Alright, so, the tags say it all. I'm broke and need scholarship money. One scholarship I found today was the "Shout it out loud" which requires applicants to submit a short reflection (no more than 250 words) on what they would shout to all the world to hear if they had the chance. This is pretty much what I wrote and submitted, though the submission was a bit shortened to reach the max req due to the full thing being 310 words total... So yeah, went better than I thought it would, for me writing a piece of nonfiction... which really is not my strong suit since I heavily shun that shit in favor of the power and control writing fiction grants you. regardless though, enough of my shitty intro. Take a read of what I came up with if you like: Leave comments, critique, questions, gushing, etc about it if you really want... I don't really care, just thought I would share it since everything's said and done.
