So yeah, dobby, only one problem with this... The woman didn't actually voice anything. It was all a thought- hence why it was all italicized... and even the laugh was basically just a slight chuckle... not really anything audible enough to be heard very easily unless one was standing right next to her.

This scene with Joey approaching the stranger with the white hood, leaning against the railing, looking out over the sea... the set up... I have so much deja vu right now from an earlier RP because of it... the similarities in how it's set up... it's not even funny But luckily, I won't have any giant sea serpents emerging from the water and destroying the ship...or faking anyone's deaths and hiding the fact that they're all actually still alive from the other players.

Alright, I have fired my trusty update shotgun. As you all decided by popular vote (well, sort of), I will now give time for you to interact. As murdoc suggested, I will alot a time limit of one full week, 7 days, from now on Monday, December 14, until Monday, December 21, ending at 9:25 am, GMT -5. At the time which the deadline strikes, it will not matter what state an interaction is in, whether near finished or just beginning, it will simply be moved as being offscreen. I would impose an alternative post limit as well as he suggested, however it has occured to me that there will most likely be a few of you more active than some, and hence setting a post limit would be somewhat... unfair to those who do not have as much free time to spend hashing out post after post of others, and would likely lead to those who are more active ending up consuming that limit before those who are less active could even make any traction... \ regardless, there it is. 1 week. Khan is currently unavailable to interact with, however I may or may not have him come down from the bridge now that the immediate threat of capture by authorities unversed in the finer laws of the lord arceus has subsided, depending on if anyone really wants to try to talk or get answers out of him... The hooded woman... well, you know where she is from this latest update. Speak to her if you like. You may well find that she's far more sociable than Khan or Captain Rechi. Mr. Tatsuya is still unconscious on the deck... The body of the pyromancer is still on the deck as well... and so to is the greaving blaziken, and his unconscious former team members which you all were so gracious as to mercilessly beat the living shit out of in battle. Darvan, I advise you stay away from Mr.Hellchicken for the time being... his murderous thirst for vengeance will not be slacked until he tastes the blood of your roasted corpse. The two women who also attacked the ship were presumably vaporized in battle by Rechi's M-Aggron's flash cannon... the captain himself is currently nowhere to be found, however he two may show back up during the interaction period That is all. Or rather, as free as they could be given the fact they were stuck on a vessel out in the middle of nowhere with a strange man who acted more like a phantom and obviously knew far more than he let on... and a woman for whom the phantom had vouched as being among the strongest on earth, yet from the sound of her voice seemed to be only around their own ages... But on the other hand... freedom was never free. One gets whatever degree they paid for, afterall.

At long last, I have completed my profile. For days and nights, I have labored tirelessly over it, from my original idea, all the way to the end result of it's current incarnation... I have done all I can to prepare it, Hukuna. May you be merciful in your judgement of Aurora.

Well I don't really have that much planned for Maya at the moment tbh, so you can try to start a interaction with her of something if you want I guess. Otherwise I'll probably just have her head off for the dorms and let her drift for anyone who might wanna talk or something and end her posts until the second day.

Yeah. The was ether that I can give you free time after this upcoming update, or we could end the chapter with it instead and just move on straight to the arrival at Avalon and chapter 2. Anyways, at this point, I think majority rules in favor of interaction on the boat and keeping Chapter 1 up for a while longer, so... yeah...

K, then, thanks. yeah, I kinda figured it was something like that with the Peace Keepers being more orderly and put together from the vibes I got from them earlier while still running Faust character. I just wasn't too sure about the Preservers or protectors in comparison though.

Eh, Murdoc, I got a question that's kinda been in the back of my mind for a while now... Is there like, any type of central structure to the Factions? Like maybe a system composed of a high command and then many smaller branches who are responsible for their own day to day operations but have to follow any orders given from the top brass, or is it more or of a loose and decentralized system made of mostly of individual branches who each just worry about and take care of things within their own territory and city and don't really go to many lengths to facilitate much in terms of coordination with one another?

Infact, this thread itself would probably be more appropriately there... but given it's more of just a general question and not asking for critique or suggestions/ beta readers, etc... I'm not really to sure about this topic in particular, it might be able to slide... or it might not. ((The title certainly screams for a move though...)) Yeah, I kinda figured that probably had a lot to do with it... everyone just being busy and all- but still, we started this back in July, and we've barely gotten past the story's opening... anyways alright, so far I'm getting a general vibe in favor of a bit of interaction for the boat. Now to see if the tide will turn or hold with the others say... The 15 post/ one week dead line sounds like a good measure though, encase the Chapter 1 interaction option wins out.

so... not really sure what I was thinking with that last update and why I didn't just totally wrap up things there so we could move on, but anyhow... time to remedy that mistake. We got a plot and all shorts of development to jump into on Avalon, so... expect another update soon, probably within a few days- as to exactly how many, not entirely sure yet. I'll likely take care of the pursuing Police boats and wrap the situation up. I may just start a new chapter afterwards, or we could just keep the events together in Chapter 1 and save chapter 2's start for when we actually get lost and crash on to Avalon... Though I'll probably just go ahead and start a new chapter at this rate and bump us right to it, give a bit of free time after you shipwreck arrive... Unless anyone has anything they want to try to do on the boat such as any development or anything... in which case, if you'd rather have free time to do that now, I can always simply keep the current chapter and just have the time it takes until the next uh... Sea Event occur onscreen. TLDR; either we can try to do a bit of free time for you all to actuall interact without the threat of death looming over your heads and people attacking you, or we can move right into chapter two after the next update. The choice is really up to whatever you guys would prefer at this point. but seriously though, the plot starts developing far more once you get to the island... anyways, I kinda need to know what you want to do before I can write the update, since how I'll have to write it will vary depending on the chosen options.
