Mareek assessed the whole situation while the enemy closed in. Nemo would probably be able to make short work of the two; he might have been pathetic up against enemies that had the advantage of better typing, but the fighter was in his own court now... and He wasn't exactly the same as he'd once been on top of that, that much had been proven to Mareek more than enough over the past few days. Then there was Erce... she wouldn't be as useful here, but she could provide one hell of a support to the ground type to make up for it... right now though, there was no point giving orders. A blue length of energy emerged from his palm, hard as steel as he adeptly swung his blade and connected with both gears simultaneously, sending his adversary's attack flying on a new path before eventually finding their home in the nearest wall.
He snarled at the Steel Type as he again pounced, unleashing a quick flurry of four additional, hard strokes of his construct at the Klank as he closed in...
Meanwhile, Erce stayed fixed to her spot as the Metang charged. But she was gone in a blur the minute it got close enough to strike, leaving the steel type to hit nothing but empty air as six identical copies of his target encircled it, claws blazing a sickly green as they each closed the circle inwards at the same time, slashing and tearing at the air with blinding speed, though as to which one was more than a mere illusion, only the Mantis and her trainer would have any inkling...
