  1. Ditto. 4 months ago, I would've felt the immediate urge to cringe/ bash my head against the nearest wall at that answer... Now... now I feel nothing from it. Nothing at all
  2. wait... what show? Nothing explicitly dramatic is happening here... just a bunch of talk that isn't even hostile or heated.
  3. You mooks know how long it's been since I read a book? Too damn long...

  4. "Oh... well... this is kinda sudden..." It wasn't like she had much of a choice though at this point. She'd been putting it off since lunch, and if she didn't just go with what was being offered now, she'd most likely only end up with someone worse- Lillith seemed nice enough afterall, a bit nervous, sure... but that could easily be said about a couple of other people she'd met today... like Vivienne (Whom she still had no idea where she had disappeared to). And at least she was even trying, Arya had to give the girl that too...in fact, Lilith almost reminded her more of her preferred type of person in a way. "But... I don't see any reason to say no." The raven haired artist finally answered, nodding her head and giving Lilith a warm smile to try to ease her nerves. "So, guess it's settled; we're partners then... Lilith."
  5. "Pretty? I've... been called a lot of things, but... pretty's never been one of them." Arya couldn't be pull back a little subconsciously. This was actually the first time she had really stopped to ponder about such a concept as how appealing or not she might appear in the eyes of others. personally, she had honestly always believed she wasn't anything too special...just... average... "Um...Thanks...?" she said, not really meaning to make it sound like a question despite her own uncertainty how to accept the compliment. She glanced around herself, trying to move past the moment of breif awkwardness she was feeling... "I just prefer it, I guess, being alone..." She answered truthfully, giving a shake of her head. "The crowds... really aren't my thing. So I just stick to myself and stay out of them the best I can. Works out better in the end for the most part...though I guess it's also part of the reason why I still don't have partner yet."
  6. Arya had kept her eyes closed despite sensing someone drawing closer- that strange little bit of tucking one might get in the back of their mind from time to time that compels you to suddenly look around subconsciously as if you're being watched, though from where it comes from none truly have any idea. Unlike most though, she had learned it was best to trust the instinct whenever it piped up; she didn't need her eyes to confirm what her subconscious already told her. She did, however, open them upon hearing how nervous the other girl was, glancing at her in her periphery. She might've been annoyed given the mood she was in, but... this wasn't just anyone; it was none other than the late proclaimed Laylite. And this little approach didn't seem to be easy for her from what Arya could gleen... "Might as well cut her some slack...she's just trying to be friendly, afterall." She thought as her hand reached to her side and picked up the pad, holding it out for the other girl. "Besides, No point in being mean; acting like the very bitches that I despise..." she still kept her head leaned against the wall all the while, uttering but one thing as she offered a veiw of her latest work. "Arya."
  7. Arya couldn't help but feel her pale cheeks flush a bit at Lyre's... offer, though she kept her back to the bedroom door to hide it as she began going through the sparce couple of provisions in her own bag. She knew the aqua haired girl probably hadn't mean it like that, but... still...her mind couldn't help but wander a little at the unintended implications. "Huh?" She asked, finally breaking out of her brief surge of mental meandering, glancing at Lyre just enough so that the redness wouldn't show. "Oh..um, y-yeah, sure, if you want... I guess it would be something useful to do... where do you want to start?" All the while though, she was trying to force the embarrassment away... or at least suppress it enough to where it would stop being so damn visible on her face.
  8. yay! just remembered how to write Arya for this! Just as internally bitter as I left her too! And that white furred, blue eyed wolf and the fire thing... I think I'ma gonna make that a recurring allusion motif with her... And I thought I had no backstory for her... lols
  9. Arya sat by herself as the evening dragged on, not really concerned with dinner as she worked the charcoal stick in her hands against the rough grain of the paper in her fingers. "Social orders here, social orders there... everyone has their own little click" Her eyes momentarily drifted up from her pad to the small congregation over by the laylite girl who had caused such a stir just that very morning. "Everyone. It never fails, always the same thing every single time, no matter where." She went back to the long, graceful strokes of pure black without a second glance, focusing on the scene unfolding under her fingertips. Solitude didn't bother her, not in the least bit, hell, she had even taught herself to get used to it overtime. Most of the time just staying out of the whole pecking order entirely and sticking to ones own company was better anyway- she already had learned that the hard way... and it wasn't something that needed a reteaching. "I still don't get why they do it... but whatever..." The Charcoal pulled away from the paper after one last stroke. On the pearly white sheet of her sketchpad lay the image she had been working on for the past hour or so; A white she-wolf with cold blue eyes like her own watching a inferno burn in the distance. Her paws stuck deep in the heavy packed snowfall, countless pine trees reaching up into star speckled the heavens as a light snow fall completed the scene. The dimensions, shading, lighting.... everything, it was absolutely spot on, much to Arya's approval, easily the best she had done yet... She didn't know why exactly she had chosen this of all things to draw though. Usually she stuck to still-lifes, challenged herself with photo-realism, and while technically this scene here had it in massive bounties throughout it all, she still couldn't think of what had prompted her think of wolves or fire... or rather, she could... but simply didn't want to admit it. "Everything burns eventually..." she sighed under her breath, tossing the newly finished sketch down onto the sleeping bag beside her. She leaned her head back against the wall, closing her eyes as she went over the events of the past day in her head. "Everyone gets theirs... eventually." It didn't even bother her at that moment that she still had no partner to speak of...
  10. Oh... so we doin' that now? aight...aight... bam! Originally used a different image for her initial character inspiration, but... found this one later and felt it suited her better. The... Rame version's facial claim is my current avatar.
  11. "So much for that..." "I hope we can get along too..." Arya said simply as she walked through the doorway into the apartment. The girl- Lyre wasn't it? -seemed nice enough. She didn't think there'd be much cause for any issues between them, so long as the other girl didn't start poking into anything, that is. She spotted the sofa and moved over to it instinctively, dropping her only bag on one of the cushions. She looked back over her shoulder at Lyre "Um... hope you don't mind if I call the couch, it's... kinda what I'm used to."
  12. Apparently sevonic quit the whole forum, so... yeah, I'm still back to square one in that department
  13. ... But... that bastard... that's ma wife.... Time to burniate some shit... *Goes off to reveiw the plausible capabilities of Anver's powers...*
  14. Well... apparently I'm the only one without one still since no one has taken up the offer either time it was given, so... and no one responded when I asked who still needed a partner...
  15. Lols, it's been so long that I straight up forgot certain people who were apart of this XD took me a while to remember Commander and Dobs were players. anyways, I honestly got no idea what to do with Arya at the moment so I think I'll just hold off till something comes to me... Still open for a partnership, by the way, if anyone wants... seeing as no one said anything the last two times I brought it up.- oh just screw it, I'ma just go solo here... she's more the type to stay afar and watch on with scorn as the social hierarchies and inner workings of the school pecking order begin to settle in...
  16. Yeah, think I'l probably just do that. Geuss where it is in my last post is as good a place as any to stop for the time being
  17. Exams and standardized testing= The unholy bane of all students. And so does major work handed out at the end of the year without any warning even though you've freaking passed all the damn tests and done what your instructors have already asked...but enough, in my personal anger, I digress. regarding this whole Nemo situation, I don't know if I'm gonna be able to go through with this afterall... I know what I said before and all, but honestly, how I planned it turning out and how the events ended up unfolding as I wrote them... well, it's kinda deviated to beyond a certain point of reason... I mean, if he stays, that in and of itself could be used for a crap ton of development thanks to how things are looking to be going right now... what with one of them having to build back there trust for the other and the other struggling to come to terms with their own actions... but if he goes, then my argument from earlier of not being able to do anything planned for his development down the road still holds some validity... screw it. I'll just let this all fold out as it will from this point. maybe I'll be able to come to some compromise that may involve Erce evolving for it, maybe not, IDK what's gonna happen anymore...just gonna let it happen
  18. {Nemo, the disgraced swordsman} Nemo could remember nothing of what had happened. Nothing at all. He had heard Mareek announce that they were forfeiting... he had gotten angry, that muche he knew with certainty... and he had gotten up. He had been angry at Java, that was what stuck the strongest in his mind- that sense of anger, that sense that he was about to fail what he had promised to do; that sense that there was a threat to be destroyed or watch it destroy others later on. But he could not remember what he did about it. How he acted, what motions his body made... it was a big blank. The only thing his own sorry hide told him was that it was sore as hell- a clear indication he hadn't received jack squat in terms of healing... It wasn't like Mareek to forget about his team like that, never, unless... "Mar-cu" He opened his eyes, surprised by the strange cry that had partially uttered forth from his lips. He cold feel the cold sensation of smooth glass on his back, the lights of the ceiling glaring down into his face. in his periphery was a tell-tell blur of white and red and black. "C...cube...?" He turned his head to mareek, weakly pushing himself to sit up. He got no response from the boy, just a look he had never seen on his master's face before... Nemo thought it might be anger, but... for some reason it seemed more sad than wrathful. "Cubone?" Still nothing from Mareek. Nemo could feel the fear beginning to rise in his tiny gut. surely this meant something... something aweful. What...what had he done? "The little monster I raised..." He finally heard under the boy's breath... it seemed as though Mareek thought he couldn't be heard though. Nemo griped his club closer, dreading whatever was about to happen... until he realized he didn't even have it. "See, nothing to worry about..." Alexandra ignored the muttered comment about a 'little monster' taking a moment after the cubone was released to glance at the orphan's eyes, much to both his and her son's confusion. "just like I thought... he's one of them" "One of what?" Mareek asked, still keeping his eyes on the ground type. "A kill-" "Stop." Alexandra ordered. "Just stop talking altogether and listen. How long has nemo been with you?" "A few months... 2 or so..." "And you've obviously been training him quite a bit, haven't you?" "Yeah..." "Now tell me, my son... what is that Cubones evolve into?" "Oh...oh god..." Nemo noticed Mareek's eyes widen as he came to some realization...what it was, he had no idea. Evolution hadn't even crossed his mind once... hell, now that he thought about it, the only thing he even knew about his evolved form was that his Mother had obviously been one... and he could barely even remeber what she had looked like, let alone what kind of individual she has been. "So... you're saying...that that's the cause of all this...?" "Well, he does seem to be rather strong as far as Cubones go, above the average... and he's been training under you for an extended period. Have you noticed any... changes in his behavior lately?" Silence. He looked at Mareek, completely lost by whatever they were discussing. Why did it matter so much what he evolved into or how close or how far away from it he was? What did that have to do with whatever had occured? And...where was Java? The sound of old springs breathing a sigh of releif brought his attention back to the world around him as he watched Mareek get up and head to the sink.. he seemed to glower out of the window, shaking his head and muttering something. "Mareek?" "More time..." was all he answered his mother with. "I thought I had more time to train him, more time to try to reign it in before it could start... I thought they weren't supposed to start getting brutal till afterwards. But god, am I a freaking idiot. The signs were right there all along, and I was too damn busy with other things to notice it. Maybe if I had..." "He would still be gone, Mareek." Alexandra answered with a brutal honesty that made Nemo shudder for some reason he didn't know. "Nemo... there are some that start to change their behavior once they get close to evolution rather than have it occur afterwards. I've seen it before, years and years ago. You have no way of knowing until it simply starts to happen I'm afraid, and if you don't know the signs... you wouldn't spot it at all." Alexandra got up as well, heading to the sink and placing a hand on her son's shoulder, pulling him closer. "This is why I was saying you can't blame yourself for this, Maari. If it was going to happen, it was going to happen regardless, you couldn't have known about it until it just...did." "Yes I could've... the signs were flaunted right in my damn face and I still didn't notice anything. He kept getting back up, kept trying over and over again... started charging into fights without any fear, started wanting to challenge opponents who were far stronger... then there's the kicker of how he damn near beat java over the head before the round even started, yeah, I'm not to blame here, mom. Course not, why would I be? I mean, Anyone would be that damn blind to that much foreshadowing, right?" Nemo couldn't take this anymore. If he didn't get answers, he didn't know what the hell he was gonna do in the next few minutes. Luckily Mars was still there... "Cu-" before he could even ask, the sentinal simply shook his head, the expression on his face dark as he turned away from the little killer. And nemo could feel that same bout of fear rising again...
  19. ... I'm a bit confused here... wikipedia is telling me there's multiple animes for it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Idolmaster:_Xenoglossia Like this one? and apparently there's some other that I can't find the name of...
  20. So... no tech center bus. God damn it... but at least there's a silver lining... I now have several free hours to sit in the library and finish these freaking final projects. Go figure.

  21. Lols, I'm not... I just saw this picture on pinterest and instantly felt that it's what Arya would look like, just with glacier blue eyes and a more... noticeable bust. (Yes, I know the character in the image, Accelerator, is technically male, but he's an androgynous individual, so...) And when I find shit for my characters after long, ardous searches, I tend to celebrate by changing my avatar to that picture for a time (Like I did with another few characters like Faust and Mareek from different RPs) And I guess I'll look up the suggestions and decide whether or not they make me want to bash my head against the damn wall would be helpful to getting used to...whatever is to come.
  22. Uh-huh...ok then. so...guess i should maybe go watch some anime for this... to bash my head against the wall. to get more attuned or whatever. any recommendations?
  23. "Arya..." was all Arya responded with, staying in the same back corner of the cabin she had since getting in. Her hand fondled the Zippo in her pocket as she watched the numbers of the floor fly by on the screen above the door, one by one like some monotonous blur as they each faded into one another. It wasn't like she knew either one of the girls; Hell, she didn't even know whether or not she'd even keep this gig... so no point in giving a full name. "Can I really do this though? I mean, sure, I can sing and all, but..." She sighed, wishing the damn trip would just end already as she brushed strands of hair from in front of her face to rejoin the shock of ashen white, moppy hair where they belonged. "Well, guess I don't really have any choice but to at least try..."
