Also, this hasn't become an issue yet, but it's still something that needs adressing: @ TyranntX: I'd like to make a suggestion here to limit the amount of legendaries to one per player, IE, a person can only have one character be a legendary mon at any time in the RP. For example, because I'm playing a Rayquaza as my main and currently only character here, if I was to sign up a second PC, I would have to choose a normal mon because I have already reached the personal limit. This is more to cut down on power playing more than anything else. I can just see it now with some people going overboard with the legendaries, even though there's the whole no battling without the other side's consent thing. It would just also help to cut down on other issues like forcing allowing more variety from everyone with their characters and making it fairer so that a few people can't hog all the Really Big Shot roles in the story. Just a suggestion though. A very strong suggestion, since... it's always a bit nice to be able to nip problems in the bud before they can begin. -
"Good mother of god..." Faust muttered as he backed away slowly from his latest... discovery. He honestly had no idea why the hell he was shocked though; he had suspected he'd meet with something nasty, afterall. Perhaps it was just the fact of how damn ugly this particular Something was though? He wasn't exactly alone though. The two Mage signatures felt nearby, hell, if he was right... they should be up high somewhere right around this area. But for now it was merely him and the beast. "This is probably going to get very ugly very fast. Either way, doesn't matter." He reached a single hand behind his back, feeling the tip of his wing extend for a only a second before a plume shot off like a missle and landed right in his palm. The feathery limb shot back into his shoulder blade. He brought his hand back down to his side, continuing to back away. "I need to see what it's capable of before just charging in... and I might not have the aerial advantage here. And then there's the issue of location..." "Damn it..." he cursed. This was probably the exact reason why Peace Keepers didn't bother handling beast unless necessary. It was just then that he sensed one of the Mage Sigs descending fast from wherever it had been perched, and a man he recognized from the little shindig yesterday landed near him. It seemed whoever his presumable partner was was just going to let him do the dirty work here though... seeing as how Faust could still pick up their ass sitting nice and pretty on the roof in the back of his mind. Now wasn't the time to take eyes off the thing before them though... "Looked like you needed an assist," "I was honestly planning to just test it's capabilities first rather than rush in..." The Lightning Mage answered truthfully, having gotten to the point where if he backed up any further, he walk out right into the street, "But it's appreciated regardless." He turned his attention from Bark and back to the dark beast. "I came here to look into why a good amount of well-off people would want to just go and kill themselves all of a sudden... and I can only presume this... thing here has some type of strong tie to whatever's going on..." He could feel his body beginning to tense though, knowing what was to come. His eyes started to take on their strange glow as he started running a energizing, static current throughout his body, just as he had earlier to make his way across the roof tops without having to transform fully... ((And just to clarify, no, the current is not visible as it is purely internal and has no outside manifestation aside from the eye glow.))

{Mareek and Jacob, The Medical Center, Front Doors} The moment they had left behind Alvin behind and walked through the doors of the Medical Facility Mareek reached down to his pocket and produced Erce's Capsule. The scyther emerged in a flash of white, instantly turning her attention away from her trainer in pure shame and parring her claws self-contemptously, hissing all the while. Mareek simply shook his head and sighed, glancing Jacob with a scowl on his face. "I can see now why Evan was about the pummel that little ass wipe back when the year first started..." He snarled bitterly, though the contempt wasn't directed at the Rival for once. "He doesn't know when to shut the fuck up, and then when you try to call him out, he sits there and acts like he's so damn self-righteous... I'm really starting to wish I had just stood there and said nothing, let him go ahead and have done it."- 202 replies

Poke'mon Battlegrounds- CHAPTER 1 [ENDED]
Sutoratosu replied to TyranntX's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Azauqyar Every present member of the Draken Guard ((That's what I'ma call em, hope it's alright with Kruga)) bowed their heads the moment they saw His Grace entering the grounds. It was the only pre-indication Azauqyar had before his king was suddenly addressing him. "You words do me and my men a great honor, your Grace." The Drake said as the King flew off. He turned his attention to the gathered soldiers, his voice again bellowing through the Amplification from Hyper Voice "Dismissed! Return to your patrols! We are done this day!" There was no questioning from the elite fighters, one by one they veered away from the grounds, some taking up positions in the caves, some beginning to execute routine flight paths around the mountain, and some returning to the capital itself to keep order in the streets. Azaqyuar said nothing to Swain or the approaching Commander Zephyros as he started off for the castle proper, body uncoiling into a long, green streak across the sky as he flew. At his rate though, it seemed unlikely either of the two followers would make it there before he did... -
Well, I really wasn't intending it to be used for battles much and even had several personal rules down to put restraints on it, but... I can see the issues you both raised. I'll go with something else. It honestly scares me a bit how I couldn't catch that myself though... I'm usually much better than that when it comes to such matters, especially regarding not letting myself... Seems I need to take a step back and wake myself the hell up here. Cause this type of thing on my part can't happen again, simply unacceptable... absolutely unacceptable.

Poke'mon Battlegrounds- CHAPTER 1 [ENDED]
Sutoratosu replied to TyranntX's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Azauqyar The Sky Lord again chuckled, the grin on his face rather ominous as mouth filled with fangs sharper than daggers and gleaming bright as the moon itself was revealed. "Ah yes, the methods..." "Let me tell you all about the methods..." The freezing winds suddenly stopped circulation altogether, leaving the space calm and still except for the sounds and roars of the dragons training all around them... for that was what mainly comprised the guard these days since Azauqyar had taken over command- Dragons and those with the blood of the dragon within them... there were of course, however a few exceptions. Crobats and Skarmories made up a rather considerable part of the corps' forces; Azauqyar's answer to the dreaded Fae that everyone and everyone's mother was suddenly running scared at the mere mention of... "HALT!" The Sky Lord bellowed, voice ringing throughout the entire space, absolutely defeaning as one by one the soldiers immediately came to attention, facing their Lord Captain with eyes filled with a resolute power that only those of Draconic kind could ever truly know... The Drake turned back to Swain, a troubling glint in his eyes... "The answer is incredibly simple, you see..." the yellow pattern emblazoned upon his emerald scales began to blaze with a blinding white light as he spoke, countless specks of similiar light beginning to swirl around his body. "I train them to know no weaknesses." The hundreds of specks of light suddenly each transmuted into slate grey, sizable chunks of stone, each and everyone of them firing off like bullets towards Guard Members all around the training grounds... and most notably, all of the targets... were charizards. Something rather strange happened however... by all accounts the fire drakes should've each been killed on impact from the raw force of the usually super effetive attack, but the worst they received was a few visible wounds, the look in their eyes not faltering in the slightest as they cringed from the pain. "well, mostly none... Azauqyar corrected himself. "With the Pyro corps, I'm afraid I can only nullify their vulnerabilities by so much... tis the curse of nature for you, being blessed with the power of flying types yet at the same time equally damned by that of Fire..." He turned his attention next to a group of Salamences and Dragonites. They maintained their attention positions, not even bothering to attempt to shield themselves as another storm of light engulfed their lord Captain and another shower of grey stones shot forward and bombarded them. They seemed to brush it off as they would any other attack, roaring defiantly and suppressing the pain. He hit them again. Again they simply took it and roared, having been hit by such attacks so many times during their careers under him that they were used to the damage of Rock Type attacks. It was not that he had nullified their natural weakness, per say... He had simply taught them that it was actually all in their heads. The rock and ice and electricity only dealt more damage because they let it, that if they rejected the power of such elements, they would cease to have their deadly power over them... it was a blatant lie at the time he had said it, of course. But what mattered was that his men had believed it, and as such... well, it eventually stopped being a lie as their bodies adjusted in order to meet their minds. Of course, there had been a fair share of... unfortunate casualties from the training process to get there...but eh, The King's Guard... it wasn't the place for weaklings. It could've been justified that those men would've died as cannon fodder anyway. "Through a doctrine of mind over matter, I have taught them to eliminate their own vulnerabilities. Anyone who would dare assualt this capital thinking Rock or Ice or even Sky Fire shall win them the day will be in for a terrible surprise... And I have trained them to know no fear through the same methodology." Azauqyar went on, finally letting the blazing glow die down around his body, turning his attention back to Swain. "Go on. Attempt your best scare, have at them." -

Azauqyar "Rabble as they may be," Azauqyar said, turning his attentions to the sudden arrival of the Murder. His own men kept training without even the slightest distraction however... "Do not underestimate the Land Crawlers or the Sea dwellers... for those gifted with high places in this world are by nature vulnerable to the mechanations of those beneath them. You would do well to remember this..." He paused, considering the significance of why Swain was even here in the first place. "What of his Highness though?" he asked, continuing to hover about and inspect as the two of them talked. "Surely he would not have permitted his advisor to leave his side without some errand. Has he some need of my power?" The slightest trace of a twister appeared around his tail as the wind currents suddenly changed direction and grew even fiercer in the grounds, sending gales far colder than before circulating throughout the space. His men still showed no signs of discomfort... most of them... -
Poke'mon Battlegrounds- CHAPTER 1 [ENDED]
Sutoratosu replied to TyranntX's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Azauqyar The Legendary Sky Drake hovered through the training "Grounds" as he inspected his soldier's performances one by one, from the Salamences perfecting their flamethrower attacks to the Dragonites lashing out at one another with Electrified, Thunder Wave-Laced Aqua Tails, to the Noiverns blasting the barren mountainside with Boombursts...All while a freezing, merciless wind blew across the air space in harrowing squalls. "Yes, yes..." Azauqyar chuckled at his handiwork. Not a single one of his men gave any sign of discomfort- For... they had trained in such horrid conditions day in and day out, everyday on a rotating regime, some fulfilling Guard duties in the morning and training at dusk, some patrolling at night and training in the morning. And through it all, Azauqyar was always here to oversee it himself; the task of ensuring his men would be ready to defend the king and his capitol should the need ever arose... it was not something to merely be pawned off to a second in command or a delegate. The only time in the entire day the "Grounds", as they called them (though in truth the space was nothing more than the open air space encircling the entirety of the mountain itself) were ever Vacant was when Azauqyar was not present. And the only times when Azauqyar was not present was in the hours between Noon and Dusk when he took a patrol of his own throughout the capital alongside his chosen best soldiers, or when his Highness had business for which he was needed. Some might think such a rotation plan to be a hindrance and disadvantage. Some might dare even call him a fool for not having a fully manned Guard at all times. But He knew it was anything but, and that was enough for him. For what many of his critics did not realize was that any advancing army would have to first scale the mountain side, and if they dare tried in the morning or the night, they'd be noticed almost immediately precisely because of the fact that Azauqyar did not assign the entirety of the force to active duty at once. And if they wised up enough to luanch an afternoon attack...? well, he and his most elite forces would just have to give them his regards, no wouldn't they? Yes, truly... for though the plan he had devised appeared on the surface to leave the city without a suitable defense for two times out of every day, in truth it merely established an inner and outer guard at almost all times. The inner to guard the city directly, the outer to provide support and rain death from the heavens as needed... Regardless of how paradoxically brilliant or blatantly foolish his mechanations were though, it was not yet the hours between noon and dusk. And, to his knowledge, his lord had no dire task that needed his attentions at the moment. And so here he was... just as any other day, watching... -

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: The Return(OOC)
Sutoratosu replied to grasssnake485's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
It is done But no, seriously, especially with what I did for Mystique City XD Anyways, how you all like this type of formatting? It's pretty straitforward, from now on I'll be putting up some basic descriptors after the headers for each perspective which will list who is the team leader and where each party currently is in the story's world. Team leaders also get funny titles after their names which will switch around until I find something I laugh my ass of at and decide to keep for their particular character. So far Sparks is the only one, but I'm getting warmer with Pulse, I just know it. And Narration which gives the setting, establishes the atmosphere, or gives some important basic details about a new scene will be italicized. This will only happen when a player moves to a new location though. -
((Annnnnnd no response from Absol still. oh well, not like this is a very big post...anyways, I'm gonna try out a new formatting style, so bare with me)) Team Tempest Leader: Sparks, the Lightning Fennec-ian! Location: Final Floor of Mt. Tempest The mountain was eerily silent as the four surviving members made their last trek up it's treacherous bowels and into the snow cloaked heavens above. Not a single foe dare reared their ugly mug, not after the double dosage of smack down they had all been so generously given the first two times. And there was not a speck of coin nor an item to be found either. Truly, it was a journey as uneventful and tearfully boring as any could be. Until they reached the summit, that is... "Hey...who is that?" Vincent asked as he sauntered up to Sparks, panting. The fresh snow fall crunched and crumbled beneath his tiny paws as he struggled to keep pace, the daunting task of having to climb an entire mountain not once but twice in a single day clearly getting to the boy. "Is she like... a gate guard... or something? Whew! I gotta... gotta sit down for a while..." "actually, yeah..." Roy picked up, just now noticing the silhouette himself. "Oh, wait, I know!" His brow suddenly furrowed and his eyes narrowed as he mashed his fists together though, saying in a cliche voice over that only someone born of the human world could've even known. "She is an enemy to be defeated!"' and without another word, the fighting type charged forward and raising his piece of lumber high above his head. "OH arceus damn it..." Ace cursed as he rubbed a temple with his wing. "you know what? no, screw it, I'm just done...he's not worth the migraine I'm starting to get...I honestly hope she just freaking kills him, no, really... I do at this point." In the distance Roy was charging faster and faster towards the stranger though, leaping into the air once he got close enough and shouting like some maniac. "Round One, FIIIIIIIGH-" It was silenced by the sudden sound of a body being slammed into a snow bank and a Timburr groaning in agony... Flare "Insolent worm!" Flare said as she glowered down at the easily defeated boy before her. Her eyes still burned with residual power from the Psychic Attack. "You dare try to assault me!? With such pathetic stratagems and such absolutely, positively amateurish calling of your attacks!?" Her eyes were already beginning to flare again even despite Roy clearly being down for the count already... Perhaps Sparks should... do something before the fool got himself murdered. ((And sparky, force=/= the answer here. just gonna tell ya that now so that I don't have to file all the paper work in order to kill ya)) Mystique Leader: Pulse, The Disturbing Kitten... Location: Mystique City The desert city was as alive and bustling as ever when Pulse and her water type companion finally arrived home. Traders hurried to and fro in the town bazaar, yelling out unbelievable deals and exorbitant prices that would've made a poor man smile but a king weep as he reached for his wallet. Skarmories fight in deep pits dug into the sand as numerous patrons stand gathered around the edges of the holes, throwing down coin and occasionally the stray salty word or insult as the clash of steel and warcry rings through the air. The various oasis of the urban settlement are packed with numerous pokemon lounging on the shores of the glorious ponds and lapping at such a rare bounty. The customary music of the local desert culture hung heavy in the air from several street bands sitting cross legged on elaborate carpets laid out in the sand, plucking their long instruments with graceful fingers and blowing their reeds with all their bountiful might, producing notes finer than silk. The towers of the Castle loomed high in the distance. It seemed all they had to do was make it a bit further...and sweet, sweet rest could finally be theirs after a hard day's work. Or perhaps Pulse would ditch her friend and go see the city for a bit? who knew... no one can truly know the mind of an Espur, it seems. Nor would anyone likely want to know. ((yes, those are legit fighting/ gladiator pits I described... and no, they are not to the death. But the winner keeps the majority of the cash that gets thrown in to the pit)) Seacrest Team Leader: Artemis, A Dragon In The Making Location: Seacrest Castle, Front Foyer "Good question..." Mac said, scratching his chin thoughtfully. Something which was impressive given the fact he could've easily slit his own throat in the process... "Maybe go visit the dojo? It can't hurt to try to get stronger, afterall, if this thing about the castles possibly merging forces is true and all..."

You won't have to worry about that from me Dobbs, my general rule of thumb is that once a member joins, their set in stone and can't be removed... since swapping everything already done whenever a new idea strikes is cheating in my eyes; you can't go back and rewrite the past in real life as if it never happened, so why do it here? Nemo, however, is the only exception to my personal rule solely because of the sheer amount of development purposes behind it and the fact that I quite literally can't carry out anything I've already planned if he doesn't leave. His replacement though will be set in stone the moment it makes it onto the team. Plus chim said from the start that we can't go playing musical mons with already obtained party members way back when he answered one of bibs questions about team size or what not long, long ago. and as for the planned team, at this point I finally know exactly what I want to do with mareek from this point forward, so it's pretty much done from this point onward. That and the fact I've gone ahead and decided it's purpose won't be competitive battling but instead practicality has made it a hell of a lot easier. Every Member on the planned roster now has a reason for being there. The Gothitelle is more just a hint at what I mean with the foreshadowing have a direct effect on Nemo... though (and no... sebastian will have nothing to do with it.) there won't ever actually be one involved with/ on the team. But yeah, basically all and all, I agree with you 100% and it won't be an issue since I think Mulligans with one's entire team are rather cheap in and of themselves And @ Azery, Nemo's not dying...

Jory, man, you gotta give me five for that burrrrrrn! with Alvin though lols XD IT seems mama Sisto has some plans for the boy... and apparently Daddy Sisto had some sort of colorful past. It's a loooong-ass letter too, by the way... Basically I'm setting up for some foreshadowing with what will happen with Java, backstory, and getting Nemo's replacement all at once (It's a ditto by the way...that thing in the capsule... a cognitively-trained ditto) as well as shedding just a bit of light on the father and his history... Ah...damn. Like I've said, boredom is a great motivator to the creative processes... this paternal family history is friggin deep...

{Mareek, Alvin, and Jacob- Round One, Fight!} "I could reach out right now and snap a few of your ribs with you standing this close..." Mareek thought in silence as he stood there, holding Alvin's gaze as he maintained the same emotionless expression he had since this whole thing had began. "I could do alot of things to you right now... But that wouldn't really help anything, would it? No... it wouldn't. But I know how to end this...'cuase I honestly can't stand another damn second around you..." "Alright, alright...Alvin," Mareek conceded, breaking off the eye contact as he backed away, hands held up in a non threatening manner. "Look, I apologize, man. Obviously I went too far there. That was low of me...it's just that... well, after all she's been through, I can't help but be a bit overly defensive of Erce sometimes. Some of the stuff that was done to her in the past... no pokemon should ever have to endure it." He looked back up at Alvin, something different in his dark eyes from the apathy there'd been before as he thought about the most likely course his partner's history had gone... "Even still though, you're right, it was wrong of me to go there...and I'm sorry." With that said he turned and started walking off towards his original destination again, looking to the bit of unexpected backup as he passed by. "Anyway... I've got things to do in the Med Center. You coming, Jacob?"-then whispering to him a voice too low for Alvin to hear-"For the love of god, please, don't question it, just say yes..." "Seems I'm not alone up here..." Fuast muttered, already heading off towards the larger, mobile sensation as he picked up the two other Mages signatures in the back of his mind. This was far worst than he had thought though, that much was painfully obvious; back during the rooftop trip here what he must've picked could only have been the collective sigs of every last one of the ones he could feel now. "The number of them could definitely explain explains the amount of suicides though...but if all of them are stationary and weak except this big one... God damn it." He sprinted towards the building in question, mind set on keeping track of the signature's movement, even though he was near certain there was going to end up being a beast at the end of this goose chase...

{Mareek, Jacob, and Alvin~ Backup has arrived} "Well well, look who decided to drop in..." Mareek said, breifly glancing back at Jacob once he'd noticed the other student there, not even minding the "Bullheaded" comment. What mattered now was that there were 2 people to call the Bug-Maniac out on what Mareek was, at least fairly certain, was the root issue here. Maybe the jackass would finally shut his damn mouth and go away... "Well, Alvin?" He continued, returning his attention to the disgraced bug catcher. "I'm waiting, go on, tell me if you know so much- What's the definition of "Control"? Or do you just want to cut to the real point here and admit that your just criticizing because you're still a bit pissy over your own mistakes that you have no one but your own arrogant self to blame for?"- 202 replies

"Good god, you've still got your head so far up your own ass..." Mareek paused, turning back to Alvin. "And obviously that can of bonifide, Grade A whoop-ass Raiza opened on you didn't help dislodge it...ah, how cute though, someone must still be sore that he got put in his place for being a pompous dick. And yet, you think you can just sit here and criticize me on how I do shit afterwards! Tch, what a freaking riot..." "Alright, alright," Mareek said as if it were some debate, hands in his pockets and stone-faced. "I see your point, but a counter argument, if I may? If I'm apparently such a poor trainer just based solely off of something that happened when I was eight, what's your definition of this 'control' you speak so fondly of then, Alvin?" he asked pointedly. "Honestly, I'm curious; was it what you showed out on the field yesterday with how brilliantly you commanded that heracross of yours?"- 202 replies
