Well, I considered that, but there are a multitude of reasons, including: (prepares bulleted list) Sebastian will be modeled after Achilles de flandres in that if he suffers some form of humiliation, a vendetta of extreme ferocity will be born Due to the above, if he is allowed to stay after Erce kicks the shit of him, he will likely try to kill both her and Mareek at some later date, and probably the entirety of the rest of the team He sees the bonds between people, and tries his damnest to break them to shreds because he feels it to be fun If Erce does not exile him, the Nemo, since I intend this arc to also be the primary factor as to why he becomes so ruthlessly protective, will see it as necessary to take it upon himself to protect the boy from the Psychic's abuses, and like Carol... he will make him go bye-bye and hide what's left in the Marowak grave yard. Basically, he goes mafia style That, and the fact that I honestly have plans for him in Galen's arcs as well with Azelstan and Surge. After being exiled, He has no choice but to return to the lake where he came from and immediately tries to make plans to kill the scizor and return to the power he held over her ward. He'll operate solely when Lapras is asleep and start messing with little Kiddie mons... which Azelstan will eventually see and kick his ass and bring him much closer to death than Erce did and again... his ass gets exiled on pain of death. After that time he'll just be scared and decide to run like hell and never return period. So yeah, that's why it's exile over slavery. Because he's also gonna serve as a device for Galen's character and to show a bit of back story for Azelstan (The part about him being pissed off by Sebastian trying to corrupt younglings is crucial to that) during year 2. that and he's going to be the EXACT reason why Nemo stops being so lax like he kinda is now and buckles down like Carol did and starts being a bit darker just beneath the surface. It also helps cement Java's role as a manager and second in command of sorts because he'll be the one to bring up to Erce that the motherfucker needs to have a lesson beaten into his skull. It also helps with Brienne and what I have planned with her character about seeing that not everything is as black or white as her father led her to believe. EDIT: I know what he's gonna do. Torment the kid by making him face the shit deep down inside and keeping him from telling anyone about the torment by manipulating an already existing part of his personality- the beleif that no mons are natrually evil and that he can "Break through" to Sebastian and get him to stop. which will be absolute bull shit because Sebastian's a fucking psychopath without remorse who enjoys breaking shit like emotions. EDIT2: it also opens the door for Hershell to come in later and...well, be hershell. basically be the antithesis of everything Sebastian is.

His actions will never really extend beyond Mareek being the one to directly suffer their consequences (IE, Mareek will be the main target every time, everyone else who happens to get caught up is unintentional and collateral damage) since their's going to be a bit of a corruption role for him, trying to gain control of Mareek and snatch away Erce's and Java's positive influence over him (Basically, he is Sideous and the boy is anakin in a way). Now, he's basically going to serve as a test for erce and an opportunity for Character development from how I have it plan, with him eventually doing something that serves as the Coup de Grace and her getting to the point where she either, in her mind, has the option of exile or putting him down like a dog- Exile will probably be the likely choice, complete with Sebastian having the living piss beaten right out of him by her when Mareek isn't around (Probably distracted by Java and Nemo and Brienne to cover her actions), his capsule destroyed, and himself told to go back where he came from or suffer pain of death should he ever rear his ugly head again around her cub. Java will probably come up with some BS about how he straight up left in the middle of the night and he tried to stop him but he didn't listen. Basically, Sebastian will serve as a plot device to show Erce's darker and more fierce side while at the same time showing off her merciful side. Now only question is... what will I have the devious bastard do? (And yes, if he joins before Year one is over, he gets exiled before it's over as well. He probably won't grow many levels in between the time it takes for things to escalate) and I'm gonna need a new medic now that I've decided to go and villainize the one I have...

TFW you change around three mon's final movesets because you've stumbled across a move that got glossed over soooooo damn hard by everyone and everyone's mother... Erce, Jeor, and Vex... I'ma have some fun with you three... EDIT: and you can't blame me for giving him the porygon line- his father was a silph co scientist for Arceus sakes XD if I hadn't given him one as his immediate second pokemon obtained, I would've given it to him as his starter and have the whole personal history be different from what it is... likely with Galen actually fitting the role of Man-Satan/ the big bad villain to his little bro. or hell, Galen might've gone an entirely different path and that relationship would still be intact and alive and well. Basically, it was a choice between Scyther and Porygon. Either one would've let the character's life story down a very different path and resulted in two very different versions of Mareek A. Sisto. (The porygon one would've been a overall more cheerful and...outgoing sort of fellow, cause non of the shit the Scyther path induced would've had to go down...)

did you ask a local rebornian artist first like I advised you? cause see, this is the EXACT reason why I didn't suggest a deviant artist. back when PSS was still a thing, I was considering getting some concept work done and contacted Holy Knight on here who hooked me up with one of his boys and got a price for me... which would've been thirty dollars flat, depending on whether or not he could've talked him down to free. I ultimately decided not to go through with it (which proved to be wise at that time, seeing as... yeah. But i do intend to tackle that front again someday and raise something from the ashes...so, perhaps someday...) now see, some of the local artist here. they might see a commission as an opportunity to practice, as opposed to deviant artist who are probably gonna be less likely to view it that way, as... you kinda have seen from what I can deduce.

But yeah, no, If anyone starts running attract ever, I feel it only right to petition that the opponent be able to decide the effectiveness on their mon, since it should really vary from case to case, kinda like the effectiveness of Disarming Voice. Like Erce for example. Erce would be rather unlikely to fall for such foolish romance since she's got this whole "Surrogate Mama Bear" complex going on with the kid and quiet frankly ain't got no time for that mess. And java would realistically be unlikely to as well given... he's a damn computer program, he can't love (yet...YET). Nemo though... that poor kiddo would be fair game to that vile manipulation... until he grows up- at which point, he'll likely pull a stunt by faking it to get closer...

The moons not a star, I know, but still, it's a celestial body often used in astrology, so...why not? same with DG, it's a fearsome blast of energy that produces a crap ton of light as a result (which is how I justify a burst of light actually being able to do damage at all, because the luminescence is a by product of the energy being used.) and there's a lot of other examples...

This right here. Don't your little shits go cray-cray now... it won't end well for you. at all. Which is why I keep Erce's mindset and priorities limited to defending mareek, and to keep defending until the threat stops, one way or another. Attacking pre-emptively or whatever is certainly off limits for her character. the same will go for Brienne and Azelstan both, as well as Jeor, and even nemo when he starts acting like the male version of Carol, though there's going to be some conflict between him and everyone else in the group about it before things finally smooth over. at the end of the day, your PC WILL be held responsible for the actions of his team. just like a Commanding officer is held responsible for the conduct of his men. being a bit hands off with the training methods and dynamic is fine, but letting them run amok wherever they so please and do whatever they so please... is not.

That's the most likely plans, lols XD Though that reminds me, I have to revisit the whole "No mons in combat thing" he's got going... cause in all honestly, I'd think it be better to change his personal moral to that of it being wrong to use them as Lethals Weapons/ giving kill orders... like his brother supposedly did in his eyes. though small stuff like the Slap or to a much lesser degree, the shock, might be a bit more acceptable to him if the mon agrees fully to it or does it of their own accord because someone's being a major dick. EDIT: you know what, I'm gonna take that out of his personality listing and instead keep it to myself and let it come across throughout the writing rather than existing as an outright statement. It's really gonna depend on the situation more than anything else... since he's a bit crazy deep down inside, just like his mother... Done. Because, the same reason why I won't be running it on any of the psychic types on Mareek's squad- I can run the moves of Confusion and later on Psychic in far more versatile and creative ways than I honestly can with the mechanics of the move Future sight. Remember, those two are basically the mon using telekinesis to preform the attack/ action... Future sight on the other-hand is basically just forming a bolt of psychic energy to attack and then delaying it's deployment for a few minutes. etc... so yeah, in my eyes: TK>Sending Attacks into the future. I mean it, I can think of a crap ton of different ways Confusion/Psychic can be fired/ used... from actual displays of telekinetic force all the way to harmful telepathic force... (IE, Confusion's name sake) but only about three or four theoretical uses for FS Plus, he doesn't need to explicitly run Future Sight to necessarily view the future. EDIT: I find myself tempted to perhaps try to have Sebastian use double slap on pierre at somepoint in the future- preferably when he's still a Gothorita so that he'll be short... like a half-man XD:

So yeah, I decided to just go ahead and intro Sebastian even though it's likely gonna be a long while before he joins up with Mareek. In all likelyhood, he'll end up being by far the most dangerous of all the kid's companions given the mind games he can play... And yes, that whole "Bond" thing is an allusion to Anna from Reborn. Since I'm ninety percent sure her ace (barring jirachi) is a Gothitelle. Here's his set for anyone curious: Gothorita (M)- Sebastian (yes, he comes with his own name, hence no quote marks. only one on the team to do so other than Azelstan. And yes, there is a reason he has a name already despite being a wild mon...Same as there will be a reason as to why Azelstan will) Again, just introing him now so that I can have it set up already until such time as he'd be able to come in and actually be a few levels underneath the cap.
