Lucille remained largely silent on the boat, sitting on a bench somewhere and idly listening as the waves rolled by, the sound of their wake alone enough for her to fully map out the vessel's deck. The cats, who had by this point effectively become familiars in a way, lay lazily near her... or two of them did, at least. Do, a large, orange male, had taken off early into the trip, and it was through his eyes that Lucille spied upon the activities of the others, from the girl from earlier flying, to the discussions of this world's politics, to talks of things called 'Goblins' before finally settling it's attention on the human doctor and the ethereal discussing various aspects of the latter's meta-biology. Just by eavesdropping, and even despite most of the content going right over the cat's head, the feline still picked up a thing or two... Do(Feral Cat) Gains +1 Int

"Heh... damn right about that, mate." The rider was back on his feet a few moments later, using the lance to steady himself. Seeing the corpses of several of those who'd assailed him though, he couldn't help but feel a smidgen of disappointment. "It's a shame though, really. I was hoping to end these bastards myself. Eye for and an Eye and all that... eh, not like it matters in the long run though. Still got a city to save and whatnot, best get back to it." He could feel Erce's eyes burning into the back of his head in the distance though, as she slowly stood down from high alert, wings returning to rest and her fangs no longer quite as prominent. Scales had begun to shed off parts of her at even faster rate, but she had seemed to forget about the irritation. She really did worry too much at times, Marek couldn't help but think. Though, her worry and fury quickly transformed into eye-roll inducing annoyance as the boy flashed her a quick smirk of reassurance, signalling it was all alright. One of these days, she was certain he was going to let that bravado push him into doing something stupid, and she would have to be the one to pull his ass out of trouble... "Anyway, thanks for the first-aid," He said, turning back to Marcus. Of course, most of his injuries still throbbed and stung, all those deep hacks left by those sea walking scumbags. But he'd live, and that was enough for him.

The blind girl clicked her tongue once, reading the resulting sound map the echo from it produced and deducing the fact that he was holding on the small ordinances in his hand. And with that knowledge, she looked at Arminius as if he was crazy. But it only lasted for a few seconds before she shrugged... "Yeah fine, sure.... Just, please," Lucille sighed "Don't blow any of us up by mistake, whatever you end doing with them. Those things can be more dangerous to allies and the user than their enemies, if you don't use them properly...I'm not sure about anyone else, but I'd like to not be blown to bits."

Lucille is a bit hesitant, but after a moment just nods her head "I mean, not like I can get much use out of any of them. If we're gonna keep them, you might as well. Maybe leave a few of them with me though, I might have some... ideas to test out. Might make some of them a lot more effective if it works."

Lucille visibly flinched a bit as the gun went off, but seemed to calm down shortly thereafter. "I mean, I guess you have a point...whoever had them before, probably didn't have many good intentions for them. And yes, I do know what these things are, and how they work, just... never used one before. Kinda hard to aim for certain when you can't see at all."

Lucille had spent much of the morning thus far wondering the docks near the warehouse, mapping out the surrounding area and trying to find potential strays to bind. By the end of her stroll, she'd happened upon three feral felines, naming them Do, Re, and Mi respectively. With the cats bound to her, she'd sent them out, using them to get a actual look at what this strange world she'd been dropped in was like, and almost immediately, she regretted it as the squalor and filth of the place came filtering in through their linked sight, full force. Smelling and Mapping it out with echoes were one thing, seeing the condition of the place through crystal clear eyes was something else entirely. And for not the first, nor likely the last, time in her life, Lucille was actually glad she was blind. Pushing away the disgust of what her surroundings actually looked like, Lucille had set Do, Re, and Mi about on different objective- finding any useful scrap materials they could and bringing them back to her at the warehouse. And the cats, bless their little feline hearts, had delivered on the objective quite well a few minutes later.... perhaps a bit... too well, one might say? Yes, definitely too well. "W....what are these?" Stooping down to retrieve one of the suitcases from Do. Clicking a few times at it, soon enough she had a good enough mental image of it's latches to undo the thing and open the lid, revealing.... "Do, come here..." The cat did as ordered, sidling up to her, and when he did, Lucille linked herself into his sight and peered down into the container... What she saw within made her fall completely silent for several moments. Before she quit borrowing Do's Sight and mapped out the other suitcases- lo and behold, they all had something in them as well, had similar imaging to this one even... without even opening the rest, she deduced all of them likely shared the same type of contents. Barrels... stocks... triggers, boxes, filled with what was likely ammunition. Everything she had seen through the cat's eyes, it rang a bell with what her brother had taught her about the weapons of their own world, primitive though the ones they had in the enclave were, compared to the arms of old Arganor... it seemed this world was at the very least on similar tech level, and though she knew nothing of the model or exact specifications of the weapons- she knew... that what she had seen was a cache full of firearms and handheld ordinances. She closed and relatched the suitcase without a word, ordering Do mentally to take it from her. And then she set about searching for one of the others. Soma and Mirri were the first ones she came across, and she approached them with the cats, and the suitcases the felines had inadvertently.... scavenged, in tow. "So, um...." she muttered, not really sure how or what to say... but she pressed on regardless "I was out getting a feel for this place, and sent a few strays to see if I could find anything useful... they uh... they brought back.... oh screw it, just see for yourselves-" Before she even finished speaking, Do had strode forward and dropped the suitcase infront of the other two, before lucille nudged it's lid open with her heel to reveal the assorted weaponry within... "I'm fairly certain all the cases have the same things in them. From what I can tell, they found it in some place hidden away... what do you think we should do with it?"

Ah zet, already pouncing for the kill I see... I might be interested, definitely have ideas for a unit laying around here. I'll read through everything later today Decided I'm going Pegasus Rider btw

Again, Lucille only shrugged "Depends what you want to qualify hearing by- it's different for me than you people. You've got eyes that work, you don't have to rely on hearing both to make out sounds and to see. I do. Just because I can hear and understand something doesn't mean I can map it out using the sounds. And just because I can map something out using sound means I can actually understand what it's saying. I've managed to understand conversations from maybe a Klick or two away before, with a bit of focus and little interference. I've been able to map sounds from several dozens of Klicks before though, in an open, outdoor area... " She paused for a moment, idly scratching Ador's head before- "like right now, if I focus, I can make out the sound of water flowing nearby, a lot of it, too much and too rhythmic to be something like a fixture... this place is close a river or the ocean, isn't it? But even though I can hear water right now, I can't well... see it. I can only map things out as far as the walls of this place in any detail, since that's the point where most of the echoes bounce back off of."

Turn 6 Tama continues assailing the poor soldiers with lightning. As he is wont to do by this point, his claws and fangs glow an eerie red and a hail of crimson electricity rains down upon Soldier Battalion A and quickly they realize how useless they’re guard is, for the explosive burst pierces right through for [44] damage. Tama is restores [13] health to himself by absorbing the carnage. Soldier Battalion B slash at none other than the the man-faced big cat, striking Tama for [3] damage. DT Warrior Battalion A slashes at Tama and Morgan [12]. They deal [1] damage to Tama, but Morgan manages to warp out of the way, striking them for [5] pure damage in retribution! DT Warrior Battalion B tries to succeed where their fellow constructs failed, also targeting Tama and Morgan [44; fail]. They strike the storm king for [6] damage and catching morgan unawares for [13] damage! Enma once more does creepy dead girl things as she attacks DT Warrior Bat A, dealing [7] damage and marking them with another curse! The impact as no where near as spoopy as the first five times though. Regardless, kino follows it up for [21] damage! The spoopiness is suddenly back in full force as one of the skellingtons crumbles into bits, oh the humanity! Enma also heals for [9] Electing it is best to kill the heaviest hitters thus far, Soldier Battalion C lashes out at Tama Vajra, Morgan[87; fail], Kino, and Hiroki, dealing [2], [15], [13], and [7] damage! Hiroki Melts DT beast battalion A, and either through desperate resolve to beat her own inferiority complex or through sheer badassery, establishes her superiority over them with extra damage, hitting them for [35] Damage! One of the beasts is reduced to nothing but a glowing puddle! DT Archer Battalion D rattle loudly as they raise their bows and provide covering fire for the soldier battalions, striking Tama for [1] damage. Soldier Battalion A split up and flank Tama vajra, all three of them slashing the storm from different angles, dealing [5] damage total! They back away after, their tactic having not proved as… effective as they hoped. DT Beast A tries it’s own luck at taking at the big cat, slashing at Tama’s hide [22 vs 7] and managing the pull deep swathes of fur away, revealing claw wounds which bleed a golden substance that the beast attempts to lap up eagerly despite having no tongue or digestive system. DT Beast Battalion B follow the other beast’s example. Emboldened, they split up to attack from five different angles, pouncing as a pack and sinking their fangs into the Storm King for [17] Damage total! Ichor flows freely from the king’s wounds, and the look of annoyance that has long been plastered on his face quickly changes into one of rage... Halley attacks DT Warrior Bat A for [5] damage! They seem to dextrous for her to have any advantage whatsoever. Morgan unleashes some soul music upon the battlefield, healing Kino, Halley, and Gozer for 20 hp each! He may have just well saved Kino from having a very bad time... Soldier Battalion D notice what their brothers in the other battalions have been puttin’ down, and they’re about to deliver! They split themselves up to flank the storm king, all five attacking simultaneously at his already exposed wounds and doing a massive [49] damage! Tis done, Tama issues a roar of unbridled fury, reeling back on his hind legs before toppling to the earth, dead! Moments later his corpse vanishes into countless flurries of golden light, returning to ghost as the woman is forced out of her Hymn State! DT Warrior Battalion C sees an opportunity and attempt to kill the party’s acting commander, striking ghost… they’re blades fail to penetrate her armor however, doing [0] damage! They back off as her eyes begin to flare crimson in response... Melina basically heals kino, restoring 14 hp quite basically! Dackly blasts DT Warrior Bat. B with petrify, inflicting them with [170] hate stacks! Gozer meanwhile breaks the seal, inserts the keys, and enters the launch codes before nuking the opposition hard enough to wipe most of them off the face of the earth, dealing *drum roll* [81] Damage to Soldier Bat A and killing two of them instantly! [135] damage is dealt to Soldier Battalion B, C, and D, killing a total of 6 men between them instantly! [216] damage is dealt to DT Warrior Battalion A, [270] to Bat B, and [243] to Bat C, destroying 21 Skellingtons in total! As if that weren’t enough, DT Warrior Bat B & C succumbed to the hate and instantly turned into stone, how very metal! But wait, there’s more! The Carnage Continues as DT Archer Bat D takes [108] damage, destroying three of the skeletons instantly and leaving the last one nothing but a crumbling mess on the ground! DT Beast Bat A takes [27] damage, crushing the last of the mongrels, while it’s brother squadron B takes [135] destroying the entire battalion instantly! Oh the HUMANITY! Wait ladies and gentleman, there’s still even MORE! House Asterlux, inspired by the glorious destruction taking place outside their walls, put the coup de grace on the whole scenario with another storm of hellfire that seems to erupt from under the enemy's feet! The combined spell scorches Soldier Battalion A for [54] damage and incinerating the last two men! The fires consume Soldier Bat B for [44] Damage, killing one man! They eat away at Soldier Bat C for [50] damage, again killing 1! The flames continue to rampage around the party, tearing apart Soldier Bat D for [45] Damage, again ending the life of 1 man! They sear DT Warrior Bat A for [35] damage, destroying 1! The last Dragon tooth Archer stands no chance, going down to [30] Damage and instantly being incinerated! With the carnage now complete, the fires recede, and as the smoke lifts, what the party sees standing before are the pitiful remnants of the enemy force- barely some 6 men and 2 skeletons… There is not a single sign of any reinforcements on the horizon… It is time to end this. Rather than respond to the dragon, she dug around for a bit, before dragging up a suitable set of visions the Maven's had once shown her and sending it to the drake. "Do you feel that? That pressure, that crushing sensation? That is what I feel when I try to "Talk" to one of the beasts of my home while they're in the middle of a rampage, or actually, just in general whenever I "talk" to a big predator- even some of the herbivores are the same way. That vision was something shown to me, something from the darkest era my people ever knew, a time we almost didn't survive. Like I told you, there is nothing to be reasoned with. There was never anything to be reasoned with. There never will be. We struggled against beasts far stronger and more capable than us for too many years to count- don't you think we would've "Talked" to them if it had been possible? We couldn't kill them back then either, and we sure as hell have a lot of trouble doing it even now. How do you try to negotiate with a wall of blistering, unstoppable fury that is several times your size and could crush you like a twig in an instant? How do you kill something that can soak up so much of what you throw at it, you might as well just lay down, die, and save both of you some time and energy? If you still don't believe me though, I don't know what else to show you, so I'll just stop trying." and stop trying she did, as she turned to answer lilly's question "And your breathing. And the rats scurrying around between some of the crates... and it's not just hearing, I can smell that the venison you're cooking is about to get a bit too well done" Lo and behold, a quick inspection of the fire would've indeed revealed that meat was definitely ready to be put onto a dish and swapped out for a raw batch... Lucille only shrugged "It's always been like this for me.... hearing, smell, touch, those are the only ways I can tell what's going on around me. So I've always noticed things people with sight either aren't capable of, or just don't care enough to even try."

"You haven't seen what the things back in my home will do to a person if given the chance, or how vicious they can be even when unprovoked. I don't have a choice but to do it if I want to live, most the things running around wouldn't hesitate to eat me otherwise. And they aren't like you; they can't think for themselves, they wouldn't even be able to conceive of the concept of free will if they wanted to..." Someone finally answered her question about the numbers, and she had to wonder... "And where are the others? There's only 4... 5 heartbeats besides mine here... counting the dragon"

"I see.... oh, Binding? it's... something I do with the animals back home. It lets me control them, like an extra arm or a leg, almost. It doesn't really work on anything that can already think for itself though." Lucille momentarily broke away from the dragon to listen to the man's response, something between worry and exasperation plastered on her face at his mention of possible... random selection. Before she can say much however, another voice breaks into the conversation, and she becomes aware of someone new in the space, turning to them. "...hi..." was all she responded to Calvera with. She went back and finished eating the last bites of her meal before asking to no one in particular- "How... how many of you are there?"

"Um... that's what the....recording mentioned, yeh...I still have no idea... what's really going on though, or why they... chose me" it was not long after answering the man however before her attention was grabbed by the Dragon. She reached out and patted the beast on it's head, seemingly absentminded given her eyes were still focused on the other two. But Ardor would've known better... "My binding attempts so far have been rejected on you..." the message would've entered Ador's mind in nigh the same instant as it was formed, followed by "I suppose you have some sentience in you then, despite not looking like it. What can you tell me about these two, little drake?"

"my...name..." Lucille responded hesitantly after what she hoped was just a bit of banter and one of the figures- the girl -approached and held something out to her. She had backed up instinctively at first, but after picking up the clear scent of venison off the dish, had managed to accept the meal. Whatever the two had been going on about exactly, she had no idea, but it didn't particularly matter compared to everything else. "...Lucille." she finally answered. "My name's... Lucille." The same awkward silence from moments before began to settle in again. Even as she stood stock still though, her mind was at work, evaluating the situation. The food was even more enticing than she thought, and as her stomach rumbled she realized how long it had been since she'd last had anything. Not quite knowing what else to say, she sat herself atop the nearest crate and slowly removed the Cervidae helm, revealing a young woman's face framed by dark blonde locks as she entered the fire light. Even from this distance, even a total laymen would've been able to tell that something was wrong with eyes as they reflected the dancing glow...if they hailed from a world of sufficiently advanced anatomical knowledge. She had no pupils whatsoever. No area for lightwaves to pass through and be processed. setting the mask down beside her, she took up the food again and began to eat... keeping constant attention on the other two even as she did. That was one benefit of having no sight to speak of. You could keep a bead on your surroundings regardless whether or not you were looking at them.

The figure stayed there for a few moments, letting an awkward silence settle. She had sensed the form now looking at her, and something else accompanying it, small, quadruped, with wings and a tail and head profile that reminded her of a "...Drake?" the words came out almost unbidden, curiosity getting the better of her. One of those little fire breathers, here? Did that mean other places had facsimiles to the beasts of her own world? Did that mean things of myth, things her people ran from, hid from for so long and fought constant wars for survival against, also existed in this place? It didn't quite matter, she had made the mistake of speaking, of engaging. If this were still Arganor, it would've been easy to vanish back into the woods, to navigate the undergrowth and lose the strangers before they could even think to follow. She shuddered again, reminded of just outside of her element she was now... "Um...h...hi?" It was more of a question, than a response. But she wasn't quite sure how else to respond. It'd been the first time in literally years she'd encountered another human face to face, and the event hadn't immediately resulted in some form of shouting, vile verbal exchanges, or bloodshed... usually that of the strangers. This one though, it... She didn't sound hostile, nor did the motion and body language Lucille detected suggest she was reaching for a potential weapon. She still felt unease crawling over her skin, but at the same time an odd sort of relief began to replace it- had she really forgotten what it was like to talk to someone without being ready to take their life at a moment's notice? Had Yuzon's machinations really made her this paranoid? Yes. But simply because if she had allowed herself to be complacent, she would've already been dead, and the fucker would've won, one way or another.

As reality cracked and the last few words of the recording were uttered, Lucille found herself standing somewhere.... open. A few clicks of her tongue and listening to the resulting echoes revealed a few obstacles dotting the area, semi hollow, cubical in shape. After a few moments, she'd finally managed to get her bearings again, forming a mental image through the sound waves alone- a storage area of some sort, filled with crates and other containers of various sizes... it reminded her of the old days, almost. But she pushed the thoughts away as quickly as they came. She didn't exactly agree with the situation she'd been dropped in, but so far she hadn't really seen anyway out of it. One minute she's up on the ridge, scouting out what Yuzon's Grunts had been so hard at work for during the past few hours, and the next she'd found herself in some area that she could only describe as sounding like it had a bunch of tables and chairs, with something being put on her ears before she even realized it and some woman's voice going on about multiverses and giant monsters and playing homemaker on other worlds... Disorienting was far from a strong enough word to describe the entire ride. Especially the recording part... her ears might as well have been the equivalent of her eyes, to have them suddenly hijacked with no sign of how or where the threat had even come from... She shuddered. But it didn't last long. She was quickly becoming more acclimated to the environment- taking in the air pressure, the temperature, the sounds, but most notably, the crackle of fire, the scent of smoke, meat roasting... venison, specifically. Someone was cooking, and they were nearby. But who makes a fire in an enclosed space like this, with, from what she could tell from the airflow, no ventilation properly designed to let the fumes escape? The beastheart soon found her answer, after wandering through a few aisles of stacked goods and finally finding the source. The rise in the nearby temperature was noticeable from the flames, so to was the presence she felt. The sound map she'd created showed it was indeed a humanoid shape that was moving... and without a word, she just stayed where she was among the rows, eyes and body turned towards the stranger even though she saw nothing but what the echoes illustrated. What lilly (or anyone else in the vicinity) would see greeting them would've been... something standing just on the edge of the fire's illumination, partially hidden behind a few crates... it's profile resembling something akin to a dear's head fashioned onto a human body. And it stood perfectly still, the only thing moving about it being the flickering fire light dancing off it's eyes... blank eyes.

"Oh please, captain," Cadence sighed "don't try and act like this had anything to do with what you were about to think up... you're a pretty bad liar." "Anyway, don't know if we had backup we didn't even know about all this time, or this is actually some miracle of the goddess, but... I don't really care. It's time to make them pay." With that said she turned to Belros as the thief passed by, taking note of the picks... "If we're lucky... and these lot are as stupid as I still think they are, then maybe they might be holding our gear somewhere nearby. Getting out of here will be a whole lot harder using just... this-" Even as she shot a look of disdain at the pile of battered and abused weapons, she reached down and grabbed the only sword out of the bunch... nicked to hell and back, it's edge completely gone in some places and horribly misaligned in others. She didn't know who the hell had owned this before it found it's way into the pile of Miraculous-Prison-Break supplies, but they sure as hell either didn't care or didn't know anything about properly maintaining their weapons. "Those of us with weapons can fight off any guards we find, Belros, while we're busy doing that, you go ahead and get to work on any doors or chests we come across.... and remember what I said; People like us can't change anything or avenge anyone if we're dead. We split up again, it's gonna be an absolute death sentence this time." N7, Grab the Shoddy Iron Sword -

Cheryn She went silent. The glow in her eyes faded until it was non-existent, she removed her hands from the door frame, though the protective barrier around Caliber and the entry way remained. She stared at the other girl, there in the flames, with an unreadable expression. All that filled the silence between them was the roar of the flames. Until finally... "...I get it, Caliber. But I can't leave you alone. Not like this," she gestured to the chaos that had engulfed the room, and already would've moved into the Pod area had she not put up a roadblock to it's expansion. Despite the various thoughts storming in her head, the accusative tone once in her voice had vanished, replaced by... something else. Something not even she was entirely sure of. "At least come out of there, would you? It's done, they're gone now... there's no reason for you stay. and I ca-...won't just let you burn up." -

Ole sighed in a mixture of disgust and actual exasperation as she listened to the conversation. Scythe in one hand, congealed night in the other, she saw little point in just sitting back and watching, now that shots had been fired. Not that she could really blame Will though. "Oh, no excuse needed~" she responded to Will "Infact, please, allow me to soften him up for you. This bloody wanker is making me want to drive nails into my own ears...rusty nails, at that." "Good to hear that then...as for you" she replied, before turning to the other girl nearby- Cherry, if she recalled her name right. She... wasn't particularly fond of the girl. True, she was really nothing more than a street urchin, another orphan of the war, that much Maya could sympathize with all too well, given her and Freyl's own experiences bouncing from place to place... not knowing where, or even if, your next meal would come. It was the girl's attitude that put her off though. And her rather habitual use of Black magic only made Maya all the more weary... always relying on that stuff, just like Freyl had, even after death. It was a slippery, and steep slope, and if even someone like him had eventually fallen over the edge... "You were lucky to avoid that bolting a while back. You might not get that lucky again, whoever that woman is, she's got enough power to fry you like a bug..." and with that ominous line, she held out a hand, shining with blue light. Within moments the stuff spread over the Scavenger, forming a field of countless hexagons that expanded over her entire body before fading away. "I think they've got things handled over here, why don't you go see if the others could use some help, up north of those Ruins in the distance? Who knows, you might even find something useful if you scour the area for a bit... or you may not even have to look at all." H12, Barrier Cherry, Tell her to go get the treasure west of here -
Turn 5 The dragontooth constructs briefly shudder and rattle, as if rocked by some invisible force from far away. Whatever it is however, it passes swiftly, and before long the abominations are again charging the party... Tama unleashes yet another torrent of lightning in what seems to be a developing habit by now. The merciless storm descends upon Soldier Battalion A for [47] Damage, causing one the footmen to instantly collapse to the earth, scorched beyond recognition. Soldier Battalion B slashes at Tama for [3] Damage! The Storm King is once again unimpressed... DT Warrior Battalion A finds itself disabled at the moment… DT Warrior Battalion B picks up the slack and attacks Tama again, slashing him for [2] Damage! Enma attacks DT Archer Bat D, dealing [7] damage and cursing them! Kino follows it up for a whopping [23] Damage, causing one to shatter, and healing for 8 hp. Soldier Battalion C, with their commanding officer dead and seeing things beginning to go south, decide it’s best to put up their guard as they try to figure a way to turn the tide... Hiroki melts DT Beast Bat B for [11] Damage! DT Archer Battalion D fires upon Kino and Enma, dealing [8] and [10] damage! Soldier Battalion A, with their commander also dead and with one of their members reduced to a smoking husk on the ground, put up their guard, hoping it will help them whether the storm king’s ongoing wrath… it’s a good thing they don’t raise those hopes too high. DT Beast Battalion A finds itself disabled at the moment DT Beast Battalion B pounce upon Hiroki, Halley, and Melina, biting them each for [5], [11], [4] Damage! Halley paralyzes DT Warrior Bat A, lowering their Str, Res, and Dex by 3 for the next 3 turns! Morgan strikes DT Beast Bat A for [20] Damage! His fury is so great in fact, one of the mongrels explodes into shards and bone fragment on impact! Soldier Battalion D, feeling a bit ballsier than their brother in arms, rush forward and slash Tama Vajra for [6] damage! [IC] TFW Chapter 2: Wrath

Cheryn No sign of aggression, no attempt to flee... just standing there not even caring as the fires tore up her legs. Cheryn stared right back at the little criminal, from behind the Rad barrier. Her face was an unreadable mask, taking stock of not only the girl, but the destruction that had been wrought be her apparent death wish. Already she was calculating the size of the place, the rate the fire was spreading, how much longer Caliber's Favor would last in this madness... "Burning up is a pretty shitty way to go," She said, "If you wanted to off yourself, there are quicker, easier, and less painful ways..." Her eyes narrowed, becoming dangerous slits of crimson, as she brought up her hands and clapped them together like thunder. In the next moment her palms slammed on either side of the door frame, scarlet lightning crackling from them. Simultaneously, another barrier formed, this one surrounding Caliber's body with a Sphere, protecting her from the fury of the very fire she'd caused. Cheryn took special care to lower the ambient radiation as much as possible, just as she had with Tallow... for now. But at any sign of hostility, any sign of trying to break out, the first thing Cheryn was prepared to do would be to shrink the barrier down to uncomfortable size and increase the rads. "Not that it matters, cause there's no way in hell I'm giving you the chance to try any of them. You know the type of shit you could've unleashed here? What would've gone down if this thing had spread to the rest of the place? What about Tallow, what about the other kids, huh? Best case scenario, me and the others would manage to detect this mess in time and get everyone out, and the only thing lost is a place to stay... which would carry it's own metric shit ton of problems. Worse case though- we wouldn't catch it in time, and everyone of us would bite the dust along with you. What was your game plan here, Caliber? Why'd you pull this shit?" -

The mechanic from pride says absolutely nothing, standing there with his slate grey jacket in it's proper place for once, rather than tied about his waist. The Beast and the Goetiac Prince were equally as silent, none bringing up the near disaster that had transpired mere hours earlier. Even now, Solomon was receiving new notifications on his HUD, the messages briefly flashing through his mind, each from the same sender. But he ignored them for the time being. He could only imagine what they contained, and it most definitely would be anything but good. He honestly cared nothing for this fight anymore... it had started when Seeker had come asking him questions, and taken up until his near death before he finally faced it, but face it now he would- he had been lying to himself all these years, lying about how he fought for the hell of it, lying that all of this had been for sport. Somewhere, deep within, some part had always known the truth. His reason for fighting all these years had been a farce. Hmph... honor, the old ways, finding decent opponents? bullshit. complete and utter bullshit. All that had ever mattered was attaining the power he'd lacked that day, as if gaining the strength to prevent her leaving after the fact would've changed anything. As if it would've brought her back. But still he had tried anyway, always clinging to some childish hope, that maybe, just maybe.... But the time for childish hopes were over. Asmodeus had most likely been right, back when Seeker came to them. She was probably dead by this point, or perhaps something worse than dead, and there was nothing he could do about it. He had failed to protect her. The power he'd gained since that day was worthless to protect her. All he could do now was find whatever was left, and avenge her. Lord still owed him answers. That was the only reason he was still here, still willing to listen to any of this. Because without those answers, his path to destroying whatever had prevented her from coming back all those years ago, couldn't begin.
