It's like commander Hukuna said, this is basically E:BE given the massive overhaul and renewal it needed, and is in truth meant to give former players from that a new story to play through since the old one... crumbled a bit. hence the massive prologue, I'm not trying to hook an audience, I know I've already got one because several players from the old RP expressed interest in wanting to continue in some way . The only reason it includes the old information about how the settlement was founded and everything is so that it's possible for new people to still come in as well. ((Though to be honest, I see how it can all be a bit much for one sitting, so maybe I'll divide it into two parts for soldiers...)) The parts coming after the initial prologue info ((About how Jace declared war and everything to honor the sacrifice of his men)) is there to serve to inform former players from the last RP what happened in between the year since their PCs sacrifice and the present day. but anyways, soldier, it's like commander Hukuna said, all the stuff that happened in Eden is more or less just history and back-story for why the rebellion is taking place at all right now, and while it would be nicer for you and probably make a lot more click immediately if you knew what happened, it's not terribly necessary to actually participate; you can go into this story more or less blind and having no clue what happened in Eden, but instead only knowing that rumor on the street is, the whole "Virus" thing that was going around a year ago was really the Government poisoning everyone... but again, like Hukuna said, there will be some things from the old one elduded to in here, but nothing major. Plus, there will at some point be a CW made describing in detail from Bane's perspective everything that happened in Eden, including his team's discovery of the truth, and their actions to shut down the facility responsible for the "Virus" as the feds called it.

ESPERANZA In this post, all information regarding the settlement of Esperanza will be put up. The "Official" History of the City of Esperanza ((Note how certain events from the prologue are missing...)) The Ministry Council Esperanza has been governed by the Ministry Council since it's founding, and it is responsible for all matters regarding the Cityand it's affairs. as well as all satellite settlements in the world There are Six Ministries which make up the Government of Esperanza, each of them is responsible for a different field. Meetings of the council are held on a regularly scheduled basis, unless an emergency session needs to be called. The Council is lead by an elected official known as the Prime Minister. the different ministries tend to work together in order to achieve the highest possible efficiency... or so they commonly claim. The Ministry of Defense The Ministry of Commerce The Ministry of Science The Ministry of Exploration The Ministry of Environment The Ministry of Demographics The Upper and Lower City Esperanza is split into two main sections, known as the Upper and Lower city. The Upper city consist of the original site of the settlement, atop the Forest Plateau on which Johnson and the Foundation team landed one hundred years ago. The Lower City consist of the rest of the settlement which expanded outward from the plateau in the century following the colony's establishment. Inbewteen these two wards, however, are the middle city, commonly known as the military district of the Esperanza, where as one might imagine, the majority of officers and their families reside. While there is no real wealth gap in between the two sectors worth mentioning since Cash flow of individuals is monitored very closely in Esperanza, it should be noted that the more elite of society tend to occupy the upper city, those with careers in government and scientific pursuit, as well as many of the civil servants of the city, and many crucial buildings and infrastructure is located here. The Lower City serves to house the rest of the populace and the majority of the businesses within the settlement, and is where the majority of the population density resides. "Sixteen," Arya responded simply. "Going to be seventeen this December..." maybe she wouldn't be stuck with first choice afterall- if the whole "You have to be one year older than your partner" thing was actually going to enforced. But she didn't know, maybe this would be doable in the end- Vivienne seemed nice enough, even with that scene from earlier, and at least she actually regretted what she said. How many girls would've just sat there and acted like they'd done nothing wrong at all, be too prideful or just too bitchy to admit any fault?

She took the opportunity to glance around the room herself, trying to see if anyone else were still open... she wanted to explore any other options there might still be before deciding anything- unfortunately though... it looked like she had but one choice here; everyone else was either already paired or making negotiations to soon become so. Guess I should've spent my time actually looking instead drawing... She had to admit though, it seemed like the tension had receded in the room- rather quickly, in fact... "Well, I don't really have a choice now, do I?" Arya sighed, leaning back in her chair and closing her sketch pad- there'd be nothing more to draw for now. "By the way, how old are you... partner?"

"Uh- no, no, I don't..." Arya said, not quite knowing what to think of Vivienne after that whisper. Yeah, sure... it's easy to go blaming other people for what you do, but... why can't you just control yourself in the first place? Why meet venom with more venom...? "I..." She considered lying and saying she had one already, but lo and behold, in all her genius, she had already admitted precisely the opposite... "I was just looking for one, actually. Do you...?"

Well... she seems sorry enough about it, I guess... "I'm Arya," Arya answered, deciding to just be nice and give the girl the benefit of the doubt for now. "And about that... I can understand if you got mad and all from being brushed off when you were just trying to help calm things down, but does shouting things like that at everyone really do anything other than make it all worse?" There was no sarcasm or real criticism in her voice as she asked- just of trace of curiosity. She genuinely meant what she was inquiring...

Yet again a scene had been interupted before she could even make any real progress... but Arya didn't much feel like continuing it anyway; in just the span of a few minutes, everything had gone from zero to well... a bit bitchy to be honest. Out of nowhere people had started being so toxic and venomous to each other for like, no reason at all, with more than a few vulgar things hurled back and forth. It was kinda sad to her, not the fact that it had happened, oh no, in a school filled with nothing but girls, this type of thing was ultimately inevitable at certain points... no, what was sad to her was the fact that it was only day one of the school year and already, the lines were being drawn and shots fired. Which all reminded her- "I should get to finding a partner, shouldn't I?" she said to herself idely, looking around the room to find someone suitable... preferably one of the ones who hadn't partaken in the toxic bouts of yelling she'd overheard...

I have no idea what you're talking about, corporal. OH, you mean back when Stratos was still figuring out what the hell this story was gonna be? eh, I guess... though the PKs here aren't going to be based in the wielder's mind, it's going to be more like picking up a gun- powerful weapons that anyone can use, but border on weapons of mass destruction in the hands of those highly experienced and who know how to wield them most effectively. in other words, in used to be the man who supported the power, now it's the power that supports the man.

hmm... I don't like how close that name sounds, seeing as how there are going to be times that Jace will be called "Jacen" by certain people... moving on, soldiers, I have news... we are going to Psychokinetic abilities present in the rebellion story. All will be explained in depth later, but for now I will tell you this; Lance Quiet was a Telekinetic who commonly applied his power to slow down the motion of his enemies while speeding up his own reaction time. Hence how he was capable of his "Bullet Clock" ability, as he liked to call it- it's quite comparible to the Point Shooting system in Hitman Absolution, actually. Alot of the things he was capable of doing, scaling heights that had no visible hand holds (Like he did on the cliffs over the Mosser den), drawing and stowing his guns faster than a person could react, etc, was all because he boosted himself with TK. Now, where did he get these abilities, you ask, Cadets? The answer is a bit... strange. He got them from devices he found in places like Eden... Anyway, you'll get a proper breifing later like I said. but for now, you have permission to get hyped.

Arya only sighed and shook her head as the other girl got to her feet and lunged off. Well, at least that proves she doesn't have a concussion or anything... Still, she had a gut feeling this wouldn't end well- at least not for the blonde haired girl, that is, if the other one could give kick like that... which gave her an idea; she was done sketching the introduction seen from upfront earlier... so Why_not try another scene capture and draw this one? Practice made perfect, after-all. Without a word she flipped the page in her drawing pad and took up the charcoal stick again, turning her chair slightly to be able to watch the still life unfold... though she couldn't help but feel a bit guilty just standing by and watching something that would likely escalate into a fight...

For the first time on a character assignment in these subforums, I have no idea what I'm doing... feels weird, soldiers... feels weird.

The table jolted slightly as she was putting the finishing touches on the charcoal black scene. Arya looked over just in time to see an older-looking graze her head against the corner of the wood as she fell backwards. "Oh my, are you alright?" She said, genuine concern on her face as she got out of her seat and offering her a hand- thinking she must've somehow tripped... "What happened? Your head..." She gave a few quick glances to see if there were any visible bumps...
