Whoa, whoa, hold up a minute here. Just how close is Ixidor's vault to this scene involving Smaug and melted gold and what not? because I've been under the impression so far that they were no where near each other in the bank's layout.- 1735 replies

The Awakened [OOC - Registrations Closed]

^That could work I think, just saying that alongside their abilities, the pillar also makes People who have Awakened somewhat more resilient and heal a bit better than the average person would be... -
This. if you sent in your weakest (IE, the newest catch) first, then you could do something like send in your Team's ace to try to pick up the slack. it's the same thing Mareek did when he sent in Java after Nemo went down with just one shot (He's not technically the team's ace, but he's close enough in terms of ability in a fight.)

And I actually like Anver very much as an OC... :c just out of curiosity, In the event of death, what, would we just draft a new PC or something? EDIT: Actually, In a fight, Anver is probably going to do everything he possibly can to avoid death because the last thing in the world he'll want after his wife is gone is to potentially leave his daughters behind as orphans. So he'd likely end up doing something like withdrawing from the field of operations if things ever went too far south... Prudence over Glory. -

Pokémon Academy: Ch 2a: Dragons [IC]
Sutoratosu replied to Chim's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
So I'm not the only person who had the eyes to see the value of that... Mareek thought to himself, looking from Lana to the Skarmory as it stared at him. enough, I just need to stop thinking about it. She's right, we did fine out there. "Yeah, I guess Nemo and Java did do great out there... and speaking of which, I don't think you've actually been formally introduced to the little guy yet," he took the Orphan's ball, sending the Cubone out in a flash of bright white. Immediately it tottered and fell backwards into his arms, exhausted from the Water Pulse he had taken to the face. His eyes lingered up at his trainer lazily, barely even a speck of consciousness visible "Here," Mareek said as he dug in his jacket pocket and took out a sitrus berry, offering it to Nemo's mouth. A bite and few seconds of chewing later and he was feeling fine again, jumping up out of the boy's hold. A curious look was in his eyes as he passed glances at Lana and Evan, holding up his club in greeting. "Cube!" he offered cheerfully, as if his utter defeat not long ago had never even occured. "Lana," Mareek began. "This is Nemo. Nemo, this is Lana." Nemo nodded at the girl, presuming her and his trainer to be friends. But where his attention was really drawn was the boy whom he hadn't been Introduced to. "Cube?" he asked, gazing over at Evan. -
You don't have to replace it ya know... like has been said before; there's no species clause...
-
So, I've been hashing things out, and I think I've finally decided what I'm going to fill the last open slot on Mareek's team with... ^^^^^yes. This guy right here, because... So, that solves that. And another thing about his team; I'm switching This Guy... out with this gal, because Explosions go a lot better with the theme of Anti-Terrorism (And the Surge can take care of Fighting Type responsibilities... have you seen those freaking arms?)

They had it (well, a few pieces.). it's just that the way I had it set up before, the individual tasked with breaking through the security of the Mission Database fucked up just as they were finishing hacking the files and got shut out before they could download Vixen's completely, leading to them having nothing more than fragments of data so Lance looked at those and said "Screw it, lump her in with the guy named Whitt for all I care" But it's been changed now, so that is no longer Canon, ergo, all files were successfully hacked from the system and the individual was never detected by the MoD, leading to Lance not seeing Vixen as a potential government lap dog, but instead just Whitt And (to a much lesser extent) Zero (Whom he wants to kill simply because he thinks he's so idiotic that he'll screw everything up) as for what exactly happened before being sent on the mission to Eden, if anyone's really that interested in whatever process or the state of things, I could put it in the OCC. It's not there currently because I was scrambling to put things up and get this running and I currently prioritize the plot of what will happen within and beyond Eden above what will/ has happened in Esperanza since the latter only really comes into active play later on.

I was just gonna blame it on having hacked bad intel and being misinformed so he just assumed she was the same way as Whitt, but alright... And yeah, he knows about every single one of you. Everything that was in your personnel files (except for vixen, but since Hukuna asked I changed it so now he knows all basically). This plot is just starting to quicken, folks... Oh, and just to be clear; There is no plot armoring in this RP for Player Characters to protect from death, because unlike in PSS, you all aren't "Chosen Ones" or anything like that (And even there, I'll still kill off OCs if they act stupidly repeatedly) so yeah... but for the most part death here won't happen here aside from being a punishment for sheer stupidity Because it's to much paper work to fill out when I kill off someone, which I've already gone over in this OCC thread before... So Exlink... be smart.

[OOC/Sign-ups] Surge Story
Sutoratosu replied to Sutoratosu's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
You guys are still in the city, and no, there's no one else down there because Surge and you all are crazy and think outside the box and everyone at Bexly knows that. Pretty much just no one else thought of taking the sewers over as a base of operations.- 1189 replies

Dobby & Notus As the two entered the Mess Tent, they were immediately met with a white, sterile area with a tall device resembling a full body scanner standing a few feet before them. Sprouting out from a dome situated at the top was a stationary red lens, an AI operated camera that watched their every move in eerie silence. That seemed to be the only object in the small preliminary area; just four white, heavy Medi-Canvas walls and the strange decontamination terminal in the middle of the room. "Step forward," a woman's voice boomed from some unknown source. "Stand with your arms held out to your side, looking straight forward. If you are wearing your helm, Do not remove it or any part of your Exo Suit until the decontamination is complete. If you are not, close your eyes and mouth and do not inhale while Decontamination is in process." The Quietstorm Lance took his leave from the others in the tent as well shortly after Bane, saying nothing as he pushed aside the flaps and walked out into the night air. The minute he had stalked far enough from the place he removed his helmet and took off his shades, revealing a pair of eyes baring a deep, bronze yellow hue that had a luminescence in the darkness. He could see Bane in the distance, the young commander leaning against a tree not far from the trail leading into Eden. "Today was a bit more hectic than I anticipated..." the mysterioso said. "But regardless, that was very good acting acting from you out there... except for the part where you bashed the Council at the end." "Why is my little sister involved in this now?" Jace demanded, glaring up at the man. He pushed himself up from the tree, getting face to face with Quiet's eyes. "Was I not clear about my conditions?" "How about you ask Leah or Marcus about that instead of me?" Lance said cooly, his facial expression hidden by the black shawl wrapped around his mouth. "They're the ones running that show while I'm out here with you, about to traipse into another set of alien ruins. If anything's happened on that matter, they're responsible for it as the acting heads of operations." "So you're going to pass the buck to your subordinates then?" Jace asked, his face grimacing. "How utterly disgusting of a commander you must be then..." "No men have died under my watch," Quiet said, walking a few paces away from bane and glancing back at him. "Can you say that, Jace?" he didn't bother waiting for an answer as the boy commander wrapped his hand around the hilt of his Tactical Blade. "You're father was a great man, Jace, you should know that by now from all that we've revealed to you-" "The evidence I've been shown so far still fails to disprove he was anything more than mentally insane," Jace interrupted. "You're going to have to do better if you want my continued assistance." "He saved me, you know..." Lance went on as if the twenty year old had said nothing at all. "He managed to take out enough of what they had done... shut down the clock in it's tracks. He managed to do it for Stone too... and then they caught on to what he was doing and killed him with a staged trial. It must be sad that I'm willing to believe the man's innocence more than his own eldest son." Jace didn't say anything in response. "But fine... have it your way then, boy. Eden holds all the keys we need to put the finishing touches on this puzzle. The truth is just something you have to search for." "Are we quite done with this interaction?" the ESFA asked. He crossed his arms over his chest, leaning back against the tree once more. "Not quite," Lance said. "One last thing, about the others on the squadron; most of them I think can prove useful... but for a few, I'm afraid I will have to eliminate them. The danger of them simply being pawns of the Council when the time comes... well, you see my reasoning here. Especially the sniper, Whitt, as I'm sure Stone has apprised you of the Roster change... He's cold, soulless even. He won't feel the rightness of the cause, and He'll likely to just follow orders and shot and ask questions later. Another one who needs to go is the little moronic Shock Trooper, Zero; he simply needs to die for no other reason than the sheer stupidity he possesses..." "You're not killing any of my men, Quiet," Jace said coldly. The sound of a lock disengaging later and his Tactical Blade was in his hand, leveled right at the Shawled man's throat. "You try, and you'll find this blade so far up your hamster hole that I'll be able to give you a frontal lobotomy with it. I won't show any mercy if you threaten them. they're just Grunts in all of this, they're lives are worth more than being taken because they happened to be on the wrong side of things." "Whatever you say, Jace..." Quiet chimed, turning around and beginning to walk off. "But just wait and see. Soon, you'll come to agree with me about this matter. All it'll take is time for you to see what I already have." and then the Gunslinger flicked his Shades out once more and placed them back over his eyes, effectively hiding the luminance of his irises. "Ta-ta. Until dawn." And then he was gone into the reaches of the camp.

Interest check for New Subforums (Sports & Independent Writing)

It is up! http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=11304 Let me know if you think anything should be edited. -
Alright, my fellow Reborn members, today, with the approval of Ikaru, I am here to see how many members of the community would be interested in two ideas some of us Ace Members have been hashing out in our magically hidden club; two new subforums, As I'm sure you can already guess from the title. So, a brief description about them both: Independent Writing: -There are currently two places to put works of Independent Writing: the Wasteland, and then there is the Roleplaying sub-forum if it's a creative Writing piece, But setting up it's own seperate sub forum, in which multiple forms of literature such as Creative Work's (IE, short stories and the like), Essays, Newsletters, letters, jokes, assessments, Fan-Fiction, and so on, so forth, could be stored would help to unjumble the Wasteland to a Degree (Have you seen the place? There's train cars and even broken buildings down there...), as well as Decrease the workload for the Roleplaying forums. Not only that, but it could also give a new group of users a subforum to lurk around erm, I mean, to call home. Stickied threads specifically related to IWs could be established there. Sports: - I'm not really a sports guy myself, so I don't have much to say, but it doesn't really have a Subforum of it's own and the name kinda explains itself anyway. Football (either American or European), Golf, MMA, Basketball, etc. Whatever suits your sport fancy, I'm presuming you'll be able to find it here. So, have at the polls, folks! let's see how many want these!

Pokémon Academy: Ch 2a: Dragons [IC]
Sutoratosu replied to Chim's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Mareek was wringing his hands in the silence between the group. What was said and what was done during the battle all played through his mind a few times, and he poured concentration into analyzing it with each one. He had multi tasked with sending in Nemo, both testing him to see if the poor thing would choke in the heat of a fight, and also setting the way for what he had anticipated the opposition to do... Then when Nemo went down, Like Mareek knew full well form the beginning he probably would, Java had gone in... and then the field shock... and then... Why the hell am I getting so worked up about this for? He thought to himself, shaking his head. I knew what the hell I was doing when I issued every order... I always had some plan in mind or some purpose or foresight. So why is this type of thing that's so trivial when you get down to it so bothersome? Usually I'd just brush it off and say whatever... and to top it off, Java is even more pissed than I am; Though, he has a somewhat legitimate reason I guess... "So," He said, looking up from the ground to Lana, deciding that maybe talking to someone would prove helpful. "I'm guessing you saw that match between me and Jacob just now..." -
Under the Hill - Fourth Circle: Greed [IC]
Sutoratosu replied to Notus's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
"I could ask you the exact same thing at this very moment, Terry," Ethic said simply in response. "There are already at least two psychopaths running around down here whom I'll have to figure out a way to kill for good, destroy them so utterly that they will never rise to threaten my companions again. One is the guy who fought the elderly gentleman I spoke of before, the other is... let's just say, he's equally as dangerous if he sees you. I'm already beyond the point of trying to negotiate with either of them, they'll die by my hands, either down here or up in the world above; They're both too much of a complete threat to the public and to society to let them live, especially the serial killer who apparently gets stronger the more and more people he kills..." He leveled his gaze at the man, inspecting him from behind the glasses coldly. "So I guess the only answer is Faith. You don't for sure whether I won't slit your throat, which I won't, by the way, and at the same time, I can't be entirely sure you won't stab me in the jugular... so it's all based on Faith in the good of people."- 303 replies
